August 2024 Style Name: Single I like its size, weight – very light – and very wide angle. I also have a 50mm lens, the same size and use one lens hood for both.

I’ve only just got it, but already know it’s good for landscapes and architecture. In it’s favour it’s very small, weighs hardly anything and fits very well into the rf lens range if, like me, you can’t afford top of the range. Disadvantages are, firstly, there is no stabilisation, and secondly – unlike every other Canon lens I’ve come across – there is no switch on it to go from auto focus to manual. You have to open the camera shooting menu and do it from there. It doesn’t come with a hood. JJC do one – LH-EW65C which is fine. The filter diameter is 43mm. Not quite 5 star, but close. 25 people found this helpful

Bought this Rf16mm 2.8 lens to fit onto my purchase of Canon R6 Mark II and I am highly impressed by the performance of this little light weight lens, particularly the ability to capture stunning wide-angle shots. This feature will greatly benefit in capturing sceneries and city scapes. Moreover, I am pleasantly surprised by the impressive quality of macro shots it can achieve and lovely faint bokeh
and sunstar
I got my second lens rf 85mm f2 to compare the difference and can conclude that16mm is not going to disappoint. The distortion it is known for doesn’t bother my creativity at all, infact love that quirky persptective. Very happy customer

August 2024 Style Name: Single I really like this lens, light and compact on my R7 it is easy to carry around. Picture quality is fair, certainly good enough for the price, you would need to spend considerably more for better quality images.
