I really needed a speaker for listening to music at home, my phone is very quiet but I am often moving rooms so needed something portable and robust and this fits the bill perfectlyAlthough I knew the speaker was small I didnt expect it to be quite so neat. It is such a nifty little gadget, it is so small but manages the most clear and loud sound quality, when I initially seen the small size I didnt expect much so was pleasently surprised with the amazing sound quality.I use the speaker mostly around the house and garden, it has a strap which you can clip to things which I find really handy when outside. The design of the speaker is really nice and smooth, alnost rubbery but not in an unpleasent way. The setup of the speaker itself and use of it couldnt be any simpler, it takes minutes to get going and is very simple to use, no complicating features at all.For me the best feature of this speaker is its sound quality, it is so clear with no static type sounds. The only slight issue Ive had with it is a very ocassional break in sound for a split second if I get a message. All in a great speaker that would suit so many types of people.

Ive had this small but big sounding speaker for over a year, and i have to say that it is superb. The small rugged speaker is very protable, ill start by saying that as its size is about the size of my palm. And the look is great. For battery and charging it, i have to say iam suprised to say that it is not 6 hours long for listening time, but its merely more than that, my soundlink micro exceeds up to atleast 10 hours of play time, and charging it is alright but it takes time. For the sound, the sound is good for its size, when played low tunes sound sweet and when turned up loud it is remarkable as the loudness kinda blows you away as it sounds clear and bassy. All in all the speaker is easy to use,if youre looking for a small speaker that you think that will satisfy you best, this is the one.

This produces quite good sound for a small unit, although the bass could be better. If placed on a thick surface the bass is better. It is small and convenient and easy to connect with Bluetooth. Overall a good product. Battery life is pretty good and recharging fairly fast. Happy with the purchase.

I travel a lot and wherever I go, so does my music. I have gone through many portable speakers, running the gamet from the KEF Muo to a Clip 2 anything bigger than a KEF Muo I am not bringing to this review its not a portable product if larger than it.My standard goto for open air music has been the soundlink mini 2, as when comparing it to other audiophile specific level products most notably, the Muo, its bass was far more sufficient that what you got in higher end products while maintaining clean mids and upper ranges. Now, the Micro has replaced the soundlink 2 in my work bag.Its not that sounds superior it doesnt the soundlink mini 2 is still superior, but the micro is clean through all levels, bass to uppers, is plenty loud without distortion and what I look for when listening to music is right there. For example, if listening to something like metropolis part1 by Dream Theater, Portnoys driving double bass line comes through clear as day while Pertucci is shredding on the guitar. Another example is Halo Effect by Rush, where Geddys bass sings sweetly and cleanly against Pearts driving drum line and Lifesons lead guitar. Cymbal crashes are clean and bright and Tom rolls are delightful. But there is more to music than prog rock in the realm of movie soundtracks, consider Hans Zimmers Man of Steel soundtrack. The piano is delightfully delicate, while the strings are pulled out powerfully until horn and percussion is meant to overpower them. Its on par with what I expect from my higher end systems.Bose has a hit here. People will complain about the price point. Not this reviewer. I got exactly what I paid for.I have one gripe. Still not a fan of the Bose Connect software. It of course can be used independently of it Bose fix it change the interface and make it more seamless but it doesnt affect how great this little speaker is.

Great little product. The sound quality for music is brilliant up to around 70ish, but near 100 the bass lacks a bit and doesnt sound as good. Its still a very good speaker for its size though. I find the sound quality is best for voices The battery lasts long enough that you dont have to worry about it. Its very handy that it is waterproof as you dont have to worry about damaging The product feels really nice to hold It connects to your paired device instantly

The Bose SoundLink Micro speaker is indeed quite good it sounds good, and it has all of the connection features available in the Bose Connect app. However, my most specific purpose for a small speaker such as this is as a travel speaker to connect with my notebook computer, and my connection of choice has always been with an aux cable not Bluetooth. And I utterly did not comprehend that the speaker didnt have such a connection capability when I purchased it. Now, I comprehend why the official name includes Bluetooth in it since thats its only connection.I tend to watch videos on my notebook computer when I need sound, and indeed, Bluetooth isnt the most optimal connection for video its quite typical to lose synchronization between the video and the sound over the wireless Bluetooth connection. But that never occurs with a wired aux connection. So, unfortunately, this was a dealbreaker for me, so I returned the speaker to the store. Its my fault for not comprehending the lack of the aux connection when I made the purchase. I presume that Bose made the decision to exclude an aux connection in order to get a more waterproof speaker, which I find very unfortunate Im truly not intending to submerge any electronic devices I own in water, or any other liquid. In the end, I would say that the Bose SoundLink Micro speaker sounds a bit better than any other similarlysized speaker, but its also two or three times heavier than similarlysized speakers that I own. And while it does sound better than the other speakers I own, I wouldnt say that it sounds two or three times better, so I will make do with a lighter speaker that sacrifices a bit of sound quality, in order to cut a bit of weight in my notebook bag, and use a wired aux connection to listen to my videos.

I LOVE these speakers. Great for outside. The sound is amazing and they are very durable. I wish the software would be updated to connect the 2 soundlink micros with the home sound bar right now it can only be sound bar 1 speaker or 2 micros. Also I wish you could connect a bunch of micros together. We bought 4 thinking this would be the best outdoor surround system .. had to return 2 because you can only link 2 soundlink micros together. Overall super happy with the product, very worth it.. just wish I could connect more than 2 together.

The sound quality out of this little speaker is right on par with the Bose brand name. It is small, lightweight, and very portable. Theres a soft clip on the back that makes it easy to secure the speaker to my backpack or camping gear so it stays safe and out of the way. Seems like such a small thing, but I also really like the surface texture. Its smooth but not glossy no part of this speaker feels like plastic, and the texture makes it much less likely to slip on surfaces. Overall a great buy for the price, and Im really happy with this purchase.

I have been looking for a small portable speaker which would have great sound, easy to use, waterproof, compact, and robust enough to take on holiday. I think that the new Soundlink Micro Speaker seems to fit the bill. I was excited to try it and found it easy to set up by downloading the Bose connect app and then connecting to the speaker via bluetooth. The sound is very powerful and I am a fan of base and this certainly delivers on this. The battery lasts for approx 6 hours before needing to recharge and I was able to use the speaker in the bathroom whilst leaving my phone in the bedroom and the connection was still good. The strap for attaching seems sturdy and I cant wait to try it on my holiday on the beach as I can attach it either to the umbrella or my beach bag without worry of sand getting into the device. I have been away on business this week and it was very handy to just place the speaker in my handbag for easy transportation and not worry about it getting damaged as the silicone cover means less damage. I believe that you can even link it to an additonal speaker for better quality of sound. My only wish is that there would be additonal brighter colours available like whiteredgreen. Well done Bose another great product

Amazing sound quality from such a tiny device. Ingenious design allowing it to be attached to practically anything. Weve attached it to shower rods for the shower. Its completely waterproof. I even attached it to my bike handle without fearing of rain or dirt getting into it. I dont think my husband and I have even maxed out the volume on it. Its so loud that its enough to fill our entire apartment. Amazing sound, amazing portability. Battery lasts for many hours, definitely as advertised. Bose wont disappoint for sure. Priced really competitively too.

The Bose Soundlink Micro is all about being the best outgoing speaker. Its sound is solid with great base. Its very compact for the sound delivered. It is nice and waterproof. Yes, the Minirig Mini sounds better and has insane battery life, but it is twice as big, costs twice as much, and you wont be carrying it along on your rainy backpacking trip. Yes, the JBL Flip 4 sounds better, but try to strap it to your belt or backpack strap, or handlebars. Its many times larger. My point is the Bose Micro is intended for a specific niche, and fills it well. Some reviewers forget that. If you need a small, waterproof, durable bluetooth speaker with great sound then the Bose Soundlink Micro is what you are looking for,.

Bose have created another great product and I believe have satisfied a niche in the market. They continually impress with their sound and build quality and this is another part of their wellestablished repertoire of quality products. Heres the key points to take away if youre considering buyingIt comes packaged very nicely as youd expect, with the required charging cable and charge out of the box.Sound quality is naturally Bose bass heavly, good clarity, lack of treble and a LOT of volume.Calls come in at a quieter volume but thats a good thing and leads to nice clear voices heard on both ends of the call.Listening, its really a pleasure to have it with you and not worry about it. It is loud enough to fill a living room or even provide good music for the garden whilst holding a little BBQIts less of a piece of delicate tech, more of a durable companion. I wouldnt want to throw it down the stairs though itd probably be fine but dropping it, knocking it whilst scrambling and hiking, and dropping it in water dont worry me.The charge lasts a good 56 hours Ive found, roughly.Bluetooth connection is solid as a rock and doesnt mind being away from the phone, or blockedIt connects beautifully to other Bose speakers, giving you that great housefilling sound

Everything is great about this speaker. Quality sound, compact design, lightweight, plenty of playtime. There are only 2 things I would have liked to have seen with this speaker. 1 a micro sd slot so I could keep my music and mobile devices separated. 2 a flap to keep water and dust out of the charging port.

I already owned one soundlink micro but purchased another at the discounted price of 69 bucks. What a deal for this speaker. I am now able to link this speaker in the Bose app to my other micro speaker for party mode. It is also capable of doing L and R channel for stereo sound. The sound quality of these compact speakers is excellent. Other accolades include waterproof, good bass for its size, clarity of voice and mid range acoustics. The addition of the rear rubber strap allows you to attach to multiple surfaces if needed. Otherwise you can lay the speaker flat or prop up on its side because of the rubber coating on the outside. The middle button has the ability to connect to Siri for voice commands. I would say the Bose claim of 6 hour battery life is totally accurate but keep in mind that depends on the volume of music. With that being said these speakers hold a charge and it has never been an issue for me. These speakers has been the perfect addition to my front porch, dock, office and beach setup. The Bose app has ability to connect to the speakers and turn them on without pressing the physical power button. Also the app can directly connect to Apple Music which is the service I use. The other service is tunein. If you are in the market for a tiny speaker with quality sound and waterproof capabilities, its a no brainer.

I only purchased this speaker about 10days ago. I figured id fork out 100 on this Top Brand Product because im willing to pay extra for quality sound. This overpricedoverhyped product wasnt anything to rave about whatsoever The speaker already wasnt very loud in the first place and on top of that it completely stopped working on Day 9. It would no longer hold any type of charge and stopped powering on all together. I tried troubleshooting it through Bose recomendations but every attempt resulted in failure Do not but this Speaker it is Way to overpriced and extremely disappointing. There are many speakers out there for 13 or 12 the price that are far more greater quality. Very disappointed in My first time purchasing a Bose product.

Ive had this for over a year and love love love it.. the sound is epic coming out of this tiny device.. one time my home theater system stopped working so I used this and couldnt tell the difference No problems connecting to the bose app for battery intel… the battery life after a year hasnt phased at all If I were you and thinking if getting this ..well dont hesitate its totally worth the buy…. its great for road trips, artist adventures to take with you when you want to zen out an draw and listen to music, perfect to listen to the game when out walking, even great for using while you are cooking.. you name it.. Im thinking of getting a larger one for my home theater.. but would recommend this over everything else

The Bose Soundlink Micro BT speak is an amazing little speaker. It sounds great for a little speaker, gets nice and loud. The speaker is easy to pair with phone or laptop. The Bose app is decent and updates the firmware easily. My favorite part of the speaker is the strap. This is great for place on a bike handlebar and it stays in place. I was worried that it would fall. However, I rode 15 miles and it worked great.

Great little speaker. I also purchased a larger Bose speaker which has better low end audio than this one. That being said, this is still this speaker sound amazing. Small and compact makes for a very portable speaker. Love the option to connect two speakers together at a fairly long range. App is very easy to use in order to utilize that function.

I was worried about the cost compared to cheaper alternatives. However, I have used other Bose products which have great sound. I am in no way disappointed with this. Its solid and has a quality feel and great sound. I use it with an iPhone which it remembers and connects pretty much instantly. Get even better sound when you use the phone music equalizer settings to match music type. I cant really find fault. You get what you pay for. Brilliant.

This is the perfect speaker for on the go. We bring it to the beach, on the pontoon, outside during yard work, and throw it in the suitcase during travel, and never have to worry about it breaking. The case is very durable and waterproof. The sound is amazing for such a small speaker and even has decent bass. Another added perk I also own a Bose Revolve speaker and the two can be paired for surround sound which sounds great.

Really easy to use just through bluetooth settings from iPhonePadBook. Slightly annoying female robotic announcements. Good battery life. The base is a bit much and you cant adjust it. The occasional glitch like not being able to adjust volume switch everything on off fixes. Glad I bought it to be able to play radio via app in area of no reception.

OMG I cant believe the sound coming out of this speaker… I have numerous Bose products and have never been disappointed which is why I purchased another one… Very easy to use, the charging, syncing and playing are flawless I got this speaker specifically for outdoor use and the sound is AMAZING DONT let the size fool you… The first time I used this speaker I played it for 6 hours and moved it around where ever I wanted and still had 80 percent of battery life left when I came inside at the end of the day… Highly Recommend this speaker and price point makes it even easier…

I was sceptical about buying a Bose speaker but this one is absolutely amazing. Its clearer than some of its more expensive stablemates and is just so versatile I can take it anywhere. Its very easy to pair and while I I was trying this and a more expensive model in the store, another customer changed her mind at the point of purchase and also went for this. I have bigger and more powerful smart speakers but this is the one that constantly moves with me around the house. Its money well spent.

The first thing you notice about the Soundlink, before you even take it out of the box, is that it is heavy. Startlingly heavy for such a neat and compact object in fact. This seems somewhat egregious for a portable speaker, then you turn it on.I dont know what mysterious dark matter this black rubber hockey puck contains that gives it such a deep and powerful sound, but once its hooked up to your preferred source of music its value is immediately apparent. I spent a clean half hour just flicking through different styles of music from my iPod to get a feel for how they sounded. As with most portables, this is a mono speaker, but its so loud and rich that honestly the idea of two of them seems like a laughable overreach. The soundlink is intended to be used with an app, but all my music sources are old so I settled with just a bluetooth connection, which was quick and smooth to establish. Theres no aux port, but thats not unusual and will only be a problem if you dont know that before buying it.The portability of the device varies. It features a rugged strap on its underside that will hook onto anything up to the thickness of a bicycle handlebar, but which has a tendency to come loose if strapped to something too thin to stretch it taut. As an example, it hangs neatly on a belt, but shakes loose from the belt loop on my shorts. This is also where the weight comes in, itll tug your trousers down if they arent secured firmly. I found the best place for it was my backpack straps. Its also drop proof extremely, Ive bounced it off the pavement more than once and impressively waterproof, which makes it a vital shower companion. I even dunked it in the Spanish sea and it happily carried on blaring out Shnabubula without a care in the world, though it does sink like brick. As with all Bose products Ive ever tested, it far exceeds expectations and has become a luxury I am loathe to live without.

I purchased my micro speaker about a month ago. I have used it many times while working in the garden or relaxing on the deck. The sound is amazing…..clear and lots of volume if needed. Also….so easy to pair with other devices and holds a charge for hours. I am considering purchasing another one as a gift….. another remarkable Bose product Thank you

I had my new Bose micro speaker delivered a few days ago and havent stopped using it since. I love listening to music and this has really upped my game from my usual phone speaker.Upon first unboxing the item I was struck with just how compact it was, fitting comofrtably in my hand which isnt huge. It did make me doubt its capabilities but I shouldnt have. The speaker is very swish and modern looking with a slightly rubbery texture, it isnt unpleasent however and feels very smooth and soft to the touch and gives the impression of durability.Setting up couldnt be easier, there is a very clear quick set up guide with a few simple instructions. I downloaded the Bose Connect app for my phone, plugged in and turned on the speaker as instructed and paired my phone to the speaker with one click, all within minutes. A pleasant surprise as sometimes these things dont go as smoothly. The speaker itself has a voice feedback to tell you once things are connected. To my surprise I was ready to listen to music straight away using a streaming app on my phone first track had to be something from my favourite band Frightened Rabbit of course. The sound is very clear and crisp, no static sounds or anything other than the music you want to listen to. I was so surprised at how loud such a small speaker could go without losing any quality at all. It is such a pleasure to listen to the music you love with such great quality, making you fall in love with your favourite songs all over again. The only downfall I have found is that once or twice while listening the song has stopped momentarily which I assume is something to do with a lost connection via bluetooth. However it was for a minimal amount of time and no intervention was needed for it to be rectified meaning minimal inconvenience.I havent tested the speakers strap or waterproof capabilities yet but will be sure ti do this over the coming days. All in a great product for people who love their music to sound clear and their gadgets to be practical and durable Love it

Well, what can I say about Bose that hasnt already been said. Their products never seem to disappoint. Everything you would expect from a Bose speaker, is also true with this one. My wife bought it as a speaker for conference calls for her work while she works from home. The only somewhat frustrating thing about this speaker is that it had a default setting of 15 minutes of ontime then it would drop the call. Took a small amount of research to find out that all we had to do was use the Bose Connect app and change the setting in there. We already had the app that we use for the Bose noisecanceling headphones, so pretty easy fix there. Also, Bose tends to be a little pricy, but theres a reason for that. You get what you pay for in most cases. Would definitely recommend.

Tons of sound coming from this little speaker I own several Bose products, including 3 Bose Soundlink Mini speakers… this speaker comes very close to them in sound and build. BTW, the app allows for Party or Stereo mode when connecting a pair. A nice feature.Packaging and setup Packaging is Bose standard quality and careful packaging. Once unpacked, the speaker includes instructions, warrant info, as well as a USB cable and power adapter. The setup is easy connect via Bluetooth to your device and install the Bose Connect application. Be sure to install all updates as needed in order to keep the unit compatible with other devices and sometimes add new exciting features.Build and sound The build is great Heavy enough to let you know that its well crafted, yet light enough for portability. The silicon coating and waterproof design makes it durable and worryfree. The sound is amazing for such a small speaker. Its loud and maintains a good tonal balance. A lot of research and development went into this product. The silicon strap allows for easy mounting on bags, bikes, belts or even cabinet handles…. very versatile placement. Ive include pictures for reference.Final conclusion This is definitely worth acquiring if you need a great portable speaker for hiking, biking or just for use around the pool. Moisture resistant, so no worries. The price is reasonable, especially considering the quality. Bose recently released several amazing products, so take a listen. This is a company that has evolved so much over the past few years, and all for the better I look forward to seeing whats in store for the future.

Bose speakers always sound great, but I wasnt sure if the small size would take aways from the full sound I like. This was a birthday gift for my daughter, and she was quite happy with it. My husband has been using it too. The bass is quite remarkable coming from a tiny portable speaker. Overall a good purchase and good price from Best Buy. Trying it out in the store is what sold me

After reading many positive reviews on this speaker and noting that two can be connected for stereo, I went to my local Best Buy and bought a pair of them. I Installed the Bose Connect app on my ipod and gave both speakers a full charge. The app was very easy to use to set up the speakers. I also liked the five battery charge and status lights on the tops of the speakers. Next it was time to see what they sounded like. Being that I am somewhat of an audiophile, I wasnt expecting too much, but I was very surprised at the full and rich sound that issued forth from the first speaker. The highs were all there very detailed and realistic. The allimportant midrange showed the true characteristics of instruments and vocals with very low coloration levels. Then there is the bass Wow And It is in nice balance with the highs and mids, and remains so even at very low volume levels. Now for the reason I purchased two of these Using the app, I set up the second speaker which starts up in Party Mode which is really double monophonic mode. Then I moved the mode switch in the app to Stereo Mode, and the sound suddenly opened up and became very threedimensional with a wide sound stage and great depth To say I am fully satisfied is big understatement. Other pluses are the fact that they are rugged and waterproof. I also like the lowvolume voice prompts. Most other Bluetooth speakers prompt you at full volume which can be distracting in a quiet setting such as an office.Of course nothing is perfect and here are some suggestions for Bose for a second generation model How about designing a small flat area on the bottom so the speaker can sit upright on a flat surface or at a small back angle. A case or bag would also be a welcome addition as these speakers are meant for travel or camping. So, go out and buy one and you wont be disappointed. But better yet, buy two and use them in Stereo Mode for the best sound.

This Bose speaker absolutely blow me away when first using it. I was very surprised by the sound based on the size of the speaker. I was a bit unsure how it would sound before the speaker arrived. But it sounds absolutely phenomenal. The bass is quite noticeable and there is a good thump to it. But it could be a little stronger overall. All treble and mid sounded very clear and crisp. Even when taken to the max volume the speaker did not sound crackly or raspy. The build quality is very good, everything feels really nice in your hands and it has a nice weight to it as well. I also really liked the silicon rubber strap on the back. It made it very useful when riding my bike. I felt safer because I was able to listen to music while being aware of the surroundings. Also, the IPX7 water resistant rating came very handy. This is the first speaker I was able to bring into my shower and not worry about it getting little wet. So, overall this is a very powerful little speaker that you can bring almost anywhere without the worry of destroying it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice sounding speaker in this price range.

Having been on the market for a small Bluetooth speaker I have dabbled in many many iterations trying to save money but at the end of the day if you need a small portable speakers that has an excellent design and great sound the SoundLink Micro is what you want to get. Retailed at 100 the JBL Flip 5 with the same price is louder with more bass however, the Flip 5 is not nearly as portable as the Bose. With IPX7 rating the Bose can withstand splashes of water and in my test the Soundlink Micro performed admirably in a steaming hot shower. The soft and finger print smudge proof surface feels good in my hand and the construction is solid and the rubber band beneath the speaker allow you to attach it anywhere you like. The micro actually sounds just as good as the SoundLink mini and even better than the Revolve. The Bose passed the soundest with all kinds of music except the lowest of lows in hip pop tracks. What you get with this is an overall balanced sound that is satisfying and for a speaker this size the bass output is excellent. The 6 hour battery life which most people scuff at is for max volume only. If you play the speaker around 50 to 60 volume you will get over 10 hours of playtime which is in line with speakers this size. A hundred bucks is a lot for a small BT speaker but if you think the JBL clip or the UE boom or even the Tribute MaxSound is a better value, take a closer listen and you will declare the Bose a winner each and every time. The good news is that you can get a brand new micro for 70 to 80 on eBay. If you need a moderately loud speaker with clear highs and robust mid range with good bass you will be very happy with it as a personal speaker to carry around with you

When you see the size of the package you quickly begin to believe you might have made a mistake. Once you connect it to a sound device you get an immediate relief knowing you instincts were right. Bose never fails me when it comes to sound. Going all the way back to the 901s we all saw how much Great Engineering brings to any product. This carries on with the Bose Goal to producing an incredible accurate original sound regardless of size. Very Clean, Plenty of power, simple to use and incredibly accurate sound

Ill be honest my expectations were very, very low for the Bose SoundWear Companion. Where would I use it When would I use it Could it possibly be light enough and comfortable enough to forget that Im wearing it Imagine my surprise to admit that my answers to those questions are 1 everywhere 2 all the time and 3 yes. The primary reason for my skepticism about the SoundWear Companion was one of necessity. Simply put, I just couldnt imagine enough scenarios where Id want to actually USE it. What can it do that a traditional bluetooth speaker cant In reality, it has virtually replaced all my speakers except the waterproof speaker in the shower. I play instrumental jazz in the office when I need to stay focused on the task before me. I jam to 90s alternative rock when Im in the kitchen cooking. I catch up on my favorite podcasts when Im putting dishes away or folding laundry. I even find myself using it for phone calls far more often than I anticipated… particularly longer calls where I could benefit from handsfree conversation. My wife would be the first to say that the SoundWear has become almost a permanent part of my wardrobe. Bose is known, first and foremost, for quality of sound. If thats what youre looking for you wont be disappointed. Theres a surprising depth of sound, from the lowest bass to the higher pitches. Really, the only difference between the SoundWear and other Bose speakers is its resting location on your shoulders. Its as if you have your very own personal surround sound. It may sound obvious, but these are meant for individual use. These cant be placed on a table for multiple people to enjoy, because its specificially tuned for being placed close to your ears. Another obvious thing worth mentioning these are not the earbuds of yesterday. Those around you are privy to phone conversations and the music youre listening to. Dont read too much into the reviews that claim that those around you cant hear what youre listening to. Frankly, that depends on volume. Having said that, though, I quickly discovered that listening to jazz music at its lowest volume was enough for my colleagues to be unable to hear that I was listening to music during staff meetings. Success Battery life is not bad at all, given all Im asking the unit to do. Its lightweight, soft, and a little bit flexible, such that its easy for me to forget Im even wearing it. If youre looking for the ability to listen to music while in loud or public areas e.g., the subway a restaurant mowing the lawn then this product probably isnt for you. But if youre hoping to listen to music with your hands free and without earphonesearbuds distracting you from your surroundings, thisll more than do the trick.

This is a great little speaker that packs a big punch. Combine it with the Bose connect app and it becomes even more versatile. If you have to, using the app allows you to play the music in stereo or with just the two speaker sound if you like. It connects easily with Bluetooth devices. The controls on the speaker a very simple to use.

Note I call this a great mobile speaker. Bose makes other portable Bluetooth speakers notably the SoundLink Mini II and the SoundLink III which sound better, but do not have the mobility of this speaker that can easily be latched onto your belt, back pack, bike handlebars, etc. Walking around inside I do notice a change in sound due to walls, size of room, sound absorbing materials. But outside, these issues pretty much go away. And unlike other portable Bose speakers, this one intends to go outside and be connected to you. Outside the sound is surprisingly good and definitely loud enough. This is more of a personal speaker than other Bose speakers, so under normal use will be very close to you. And the sound is definitely adequate for being close. If further away, not so sure. It has substance to it which any decent speaker needs but its not heavy and the strap appears to be designed so that you dont have to worry about it coming loose. Construction appears very sturdy and the rubbery case seems designed for moderate impact. Linking it up to your phone or other device is quite easy. Definitely recommend this speaker, primarily for outside personal use.

This is a great little speaker for the most part. I didnt expect any booming bass, so the sound is really good from such a small speaker.I mostly use it when I ride my bike to work, and I sometimes wish for a tad more volume, but its definitely workable. Definitely better on bike trails away from traffic. The best part though is the rugged case and strap design. The rubber strap has a lot of stretch and really holds firmly when clipped something like a bike handlebar. I was not expecting such a stable fit. It once clipped it will not let loose unless you unclip it.

Recently bought this Bose Soundlink Micro Portable Bluetooth Speaker for my husband and it works beautifully. Connects quickly and easily anywhere even on our boat. The sound is crystal clear and loud enough to hear over the motor. Initially we had tried an Aztec speaker for half the cost…hardly connected if at all. What we love best about the Bose Soundlink III is that we can link it with our other Bose speakers and have a surround sound without the added cost. You will love this product as much as we do With the deal that was running for 79, we purchased a second one for our son who likes to play basketball so he can listen with his friends while playing.

SummaryProsBest and loudest sound Ive experienced from a small speakerWaterproofShockproofGreat strap to attach to thingsConsLacks treble and bass heavyNo skip track functionalityIll launch right inIt weighs about as much as a cup of coffee and has a nice design overall. Its got a rubberytactile feel and an easytouse clip which seems robust and stretches to go around a bag strap, or my bikes handlebars. It has a very simple latch so is easy to use and feels robust. It speaks to you to help with setup and knows the name of my phone…very cool. Setup is easy with the app which is of course, well designed. In use, its significantly louder than my iPhone 7, perhaps 10x louder. It vibrates a bit when above half volume but wont vibrate off of anything due to the rubbery coating though it did vibrate my glasses off of it when I left them resting on the speaker.Theres no ability to skip tracks which is a shame, but theres a brilliant volume function. It has more volume options than the phone, meaning one press of the volume up on an iPhone is actually six clicks of volume up on the speaker. This is a good thing It allows more control over the specific volume. The sound. Well, it does great on a bag or on my bike as youre close to it. In a field it gave enough volume for a few of us at up to around 10m away. It got wet on both occasions and just vibrated the water right outIn the home, it fills my living room enough to create good background music at a party I had, and I can have it at max volume without distortion. I did play about with my phones EQ to get the right sound for me, as its good on the mids, but lacking in the treble for my liking. The bass is naturally Bose and deep its actually really nice to hear from a little speaker and feels very subwoofery.Volume up and down is quite easy to find. Speaker has more volume options than the phone, meaning one press of the volume up on an iPhone is actually six clicks of volume up on the speaker. This is a good thing It allows more control over the specific volume. Its quieter on calls than when playing music likely so the caller doesnt hear it I guess and calls are actually really good Its like having your phone on speaker and both parties can hear clearly think how often thats useful when youre using a Bluetooth speaker, like on your bikeAs calls are good, I dare say this could be easily used as a hands free kit in a car if you didnt have one. Its certainly loud enough for that.Overall, Im very pleased

I love this little speaker It sounds great and has plenty of volume for what I use it for. My shower radio will not pick up any stations in my shower so this is permanently in my shower so I can listen to the local weather in the mornings before I head off to work and music at other times. its connected by Bluetooth to my cell phone. The only thing that worried me is the charging port is on top and it has no cover. I have it placed back against the shower wall under the shower neck to the shower head so it doesnt get any direct water on it and very little splashed on it at all, but I did purchase a plug that fits and covers the port just for my peace of mind. I am very satisfied with my purchaseI added photos of wher I placed it in the shower and the port plug I added.

The Bose SoundLink Micro Bluetooth speaker is like a dream come true. Bose makes top quality audio products so pairing a company of its caliber with a portable Bluetooth speaker was bound to produce grand results and it did not fail in that regard. The product came well packaged and secure. Setup was easy. Plug it in to begin charging, but you dont have to wait for it to charge to begin setup. Download the app to your smart phone, push the power button on the speaker and hold in the Bluetooth button until you see a solid blue light on the speaker. Open your smart phone and go into your Settings to the Bluetooth menu. Find the Bose speaker on your list and click to pair the device. After pairing, my speaker immediately asked to download the latest update to the speaker. After the update was installed, I tested out the speaker by starting a music file on my smart phone. It worked easily and effortlessly.Bose claims that this speaker is unmatched in sound quality for a speaker of this size and I agree The sound is loud and clear and I was very surprised to hear such great bass in a speaker of this size. It is only 3.75 inches wide and deep and 1.5 inches high and with a weight of 0.64 pounds it is amazing how well it performs.I like the tearresistant strap on the back. It is stretchable to fit around bike frames or handle bars, but tight enough to not sag or come loose when strapped to a belt or backpack strap. This feature gives this speaker a huge added bonus since you can easily attach the speaker to so many different types of objects for complete portability. It has a lithium ion battery that lasts about 6 hours before needing a recharge. It not only has a waterproof case, but every component inside the case has been sealed to make it waterproof inside too. It is waterproof in depths of 3.3 feet for up to 30 minutes, but it doesnt float so you still have to make sure it is secure if you use it during water sports. It is also made to withstand extreme temperatures. The case is very rugged too. Bose says it can be dropped, stepped on, or sat on without breaking. I do wish it had an AUX port for wired connection since I have an older iPod that I would love to use it with. But it works with a Bluetooth connection at up to a 30 ft range. In addition to enjoying your music, you can make or answer cell phone calls with this speaker, as with most mobile speakers. It also lets you talk to Siri or Google Assistant.PROSSound QualityVolumePortableTearResistant StrapWaterproofBattery LifeCONSNo AUX port

My first impression was, that it looks a little pricey for that small speaker. I never thought that such small speaker will deliver that quality sound. And considering the other benefits like the durable package, and absolutely water proof I still dont know how it manages to do it, because you can see the holes for the Micro usb connector, but I will leave that concern to the engineers. Its covered by a solid rubber protector, and it also has a strap so you can attach it to belt loops, brackets etc. The strap attach it securely, and you can rely on the fact that if you drop it, it will still working like nothing happened. If you are jogging and you have attached it to your belt, it isnt heavy enough to be noticeable and the sound is clear and loud enough to hear, I was impressed with the level of bass this unit can deliver without distorting. It is an advantage using a unit that delivers that quality sound and not using earphones while I am jogging or simply walking in the park. The Bluetooth setup with my IPhone was simple, just press the button on the Soundlink and then check the list of Bluetooth devices on my phone. Pairing was automatic. The App allows you to have two different sources on the unit. So I have my wifes Android and my IPhone configured in app, if you pressed the Bluetooth button on the micro, it will connect to a second source, and through the app you will be able to select which source to play the music. I found this very clever idea, as well as you can have several Bose devices connected to the same source playing music. I have a Bose Soundlink Speaker too, and I was able to play my music on both of them, connecting at the same time. The Bluetooth range distance is pretty amazing. I would say more than 60f range. I left my cell phone upstairs, in my room with the door closed, and the speaker was continuing playing music while I was downstairs. It Takes around 2 hours to fully charge, and I have had this unit playing music constantly for around 6 hours and still have battery charge to continue playing. My final conclusion was, that the price is totally justified. I have had other small Bluetooth speaker devices and nothing compares with the quality, reliability and sound of this unit. The bass and higher tones are clear and pleasant to hear while I was listening my classical music. So, in this case, and as the said states good always comes in tiny bottle.

I bought it new from Bose when it was on sale. It arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. This speaker did not come precharged, so you need to charge it before you can use it. After you fully charge it, I highly recommend to download Bose companion app to get your latest updatefirmware. Integration with Apple products is FLAWLESS. It takes less than a second to connect to my iPhone and one of the best features that I absolutely hate in other brand speakers is ability to toggle onoff voice prompts. They are extremely annoying in my opinion and with Bose app companion you can turn them on and off. It is on a heavier side, which tells me this product is quality.

The Bose SoundLink Micro speaker is the best sounding pocket sized bluetooth speaker Ive heard yet. This speaker really sounds like its coming from a much larger unit and fills the room nicely, its fantastic. The sound quality is much louder and richer than other speakers in this category and probably outperforms many larger bluetooth speakers. I love the IPX7 rating which protects against splashes, rain, and temporary submersion in water. The casing is made of a smooth and rugged silicone shell that seems like it can take a beating and hold up well. I like the stretchable strap on that back that allows me to attach it to my backpack strap, beltloop, tent pole, or other places. This speaker can be operated using the Bose app, which will allow it to connect to another Bose speaker to sync in party mode and produce stereo sound, which is great if you have another Bose speaker. You can also operate the speaker without using the app.Im extremely pleased with the Bose SoundLink Micro speaker. The sound quality is top of the line for its size. The size is perfect and the design is ruggedly simple. I recommend this to anyone who is willing to pay a little bit of a higher price for a premium bluetooth speaker thats sure to last many years.

Bose has a pretty good reputation for quality in sound, and now I can personally attest to that. This SoundLink micro bluetooth speaker is small but mighty It is small enough to put in the palm of your hand and has a very nice texture, too, by the way and includes a strap on the back where you can attach it to a bike, beach umbrella, you name it. It is very easy to use, and I love that every time you turn it on, it tells you the remaining battery percentage, so I know when I will need to charge it. I use it almost every evening to listen to music while I shower, and I have been very impressed at the batterys longevity. Ive only needed to charge it once since I initially charged it when I received it about a month ago. The buttons on the front are minimal but multipurpose. There are two buttons for volume and another for music control. I love that I can pause my music with one button press, advance to the next song with two button presses, or go back to the previous song with three button presses. It saves me from having to carry my phone or tablet with me to manually change the song in any of those ways. And of course, the sound quality is on par with what youd expect from Bose. Crystal clear sound and defined bass, even at higher volumes. I love this little speaker

Bose has one thing right. Its about how clean your sound comes out of the speaker. It has a good throw, with enough bottom to not sound like a mosquito whine if you have a speakerphone call with more than one person in the room. The music sounds calm, clear and definite. When two are paired in stereo mode, it gives really great separation and depth. Bose doesnt go for 200 decibels to make you bleed from your ears. What they focus upon is solid engineering and a moderate volume which fills a small room with good sound.Outside is great up to 30 feet, and Carries like bigger speakers, with a few limitations.Magnavox D8448 it is not.But it sounds good, and gives your cellphone the umph needed. The callers all tell me that the microphone sounds great on a call.

I expected this speaker to be good because Bose is known for a quality product but I didnt think it would be this good. The compact design, downsizing subwoofer, crisp sound, and battery life are great. The charge time was a little lackluster when first charging. Sound wise I tested it initially using When the lever breaks by Led Zeppelin its a great go to for testing any sound product honestly and I was surprised at how clear the mids and highs were and how rich the bass was. Its not as warm as a larger Bose or Sonos speaker but for a budget speaker….really good. I bought it on sale at 79.99 from the original 99 but Id recommend this to anyone any day.

This little guy packs some mighty sound. Second time I have purchased. My husband takes it golfing. Loved it so much we bought one for my dad. Durable, has survived many falls. Good battery life. Nice tiny size so easy to store. Get it.

I just purchased this from Target Tribeca NYC. I was super excited to test it out. At first I was like OK, lets see how this sounds with a skeptical outlook as with any new purchase. The sound quality is perfect for outdoors. I tested it at a large court area to sit. You could really hear it. This is my first Bose product, and Im stoked about it.The connection is great. The charging is good. No malfunctions or manufacturing issues to report, and hopefully none to report in the future. The bass is very good Highly recommended

Overall I really like the Bose Soundlink Micro and am very happy with my purchase The sound quality is excellent and that is what was the deciding factor in my purchase. The only reason I didnt give it the full 5 stars is because of the Bluetooth range and the fact that it doesnt float if dropped in water. Battery life has been decent but could be a bit better. I appreciate the fact that the unit tells me what the battery level is when it powers on. I definitely recommend this product.
jpmjpm –
I bought this for teleconferencing and it works pretty well for that. There have been times when there is some echo but I had the volume up pretty high when that happened. Id rate it a five if it had better noise cancelling capabilities with the mic.It has decent quality for music considering how small it is. The bass is impressive for this size. I may get another one to have the stereo experience. The battery life is excellent I turned off the autoshutdown feature and have left this on overnight and it doesnt lose much power.I also like that it can be connected to two devices simultaneously. The audio switches nicely between the two devices. This functionality is similar to the Bose 700 headphones.

I liked this unit so well that I bought a second one for my wife. I have several Bluetooth speakers that cost less but these are far superior in ease of use and sound quality. Set up takes jus a few minutes and youre ready to go. Unit can be turned on from the app and can be joined with other Bose BT speakers for a stereo effect. Battery life seems to be around 8 hours on mine.

Christmas was so much better with the great sounds delivered from Bose speakers I love this little puppy especially when its paired with another and strategically placed in the room delivering awesome ambient tunes.Setting up was very simple with the Bose Connect App on my iPhone. The ruggedness of this speaker means it can be taken anywhere and as its waterproof too the list is endless. One will permanently stay in my laptop bag which due to my work goes with me everywhere, especially as it can take calls and be used as a speaker phone too.My 2nd one is for my camper van and will get so much use in there, this speaker is ideal for this environment as I do not want to disturb everyone else but I do like to have full rich sound even at low volumes and this can certainly deliver that.I have a few BT speakers but these are definitely the most universalfavourite ones to date, battery life can be a little under 6 hours if driven hard but Im never that far away from a USB plug so its not an issue for me.So if you are wanting great sound, waterproof, rugged, speakerphone enabled, compact BT speaker then look no further this is perfect as an all rounder

I bought this speaker as I do classroom training and needed a good speaker to play videos and music. I am often in rooms that handle 3040 people so it needed to produce enough sound to cover the room. It more then handles the job. It has great coverage without losing quality. It was very easy to connect to both my laptop and my phone. Good little speaker

Loved the sound and aesthetic of this product versus the competition by UE too fizzy and the colors are obnoxious, JBL Clip lacks bass. Have kept this in the shower and the battery is still kicking. Turns itself off when not in use, and I really only need to charge it a couple times a month when using daily for 1015 minutes per shower plus the occasional bike ride. This speaker outlasted the Bose Soundlink revolve which was twice the price. If this had an aux input it would be the perfect speaker.

I almost gave it a 5, but there are two flaws that I dropped it down one. It still an amazing device however and would recommend. First the pros the size is great. It is great to bring into different rooms and the sound is amazing. It is connected Bluetooth and the sound has always come out crisp. The black color which is what we got is very nice. We have a black table and it blends in nicely. The strap on the back does make it not sit completely straight, it kind of wobbles. It didnt annoy me though so I didnt give this a negative. Especially bc if you are person who wants to hook it up to their bike, it would come in handy. The main con I have is you can not hook up one of my Bose speakers to the SoundTouch app and play them both at the same time. You have to download a different app and only a select few speakers that are added to it. The speaker I have is new so I cant even say that its not on there bc its old. Due to that I cant pair them and play the same music at the same time in the two rooms and have it come off both speakers with the same music at the same time. Keep in mind though some people can, you just have to know that you may not. The second con is related to my first con. I tried to put my Sirius xm on my new micro speaker. On the app you download you will see you can do Apple streaming or radio. So it wont go right if the device. Unlike my Bose one you can add pandora and others so far this one only lets you do those two. I can Bluetooth the music over, however. I put my Sirius xm app on and had the songs play to the micro. The negative to that is it wont play simultaneously with another speaker if its in use with Sirius. When the Sirius is playing off the original Bose or another app and then I add it to the micro a screen comes up and says you cant play Sirius on more than one device. So that being said you still cant do the exact same music at the exact same time on more than one device. You can however do this if the room is far enough where you can have different music playing. With all that the actual micro Bose has wonderful sound. The volume control is great and its easy to use. If you are buying this for simple use just want a small speaker that works this is right for you

I have had this Bose Soundlink Micro Bluetooth speaker for about 3 months now, and I am Extremely, Happy, and Satisfied as well as Impressed. First the quality of sound is Amazing and for such a small speaker it has Bass. I just recently started riding a bicycle on trails, and this speaker is always with me. I charge the speaker once a week and it holds a charge very well, I ride daily for 23 hours a day 5 6 days a week and the battery has Never dropped below 60. While riding I take phone calls, and I can hear and be heard clearly via this Soundlink Micro speaker. I really do enjoy this tiny speaker. The rating system only allows 15 stars. My rating is 4.5 stars. My only complaint is that the strap on the back should be adjustable. Otherwise the Bose Soundlink Micro Bluetooth speaker is Awesome, your getting Huge sound out of a small speaker, its Amazing

This speaker is great for travelling and given its size. Sound is good but if you are after a loud speaker, try something bigger. This is more for camping or to use in a small room. The sound quality and bass are great but not very loud. The advantage is that you can connect two of these speakers together I bought two on sale and then the combined sound volume is louder and can then be used in a big room.
Xxx I –
I purchased this speaker out of stimulus money to treat myself for the inconveniences that have arisen. Lo and behold It was one of the best moves I have made in a long time. I take it with me everywhere. The overall sound is magnificent. The separation of sound is awesome. It holds a charge forever. The volume range is from a whisper to a roar. The cost was affordable. What more could you ask for unless its for another one. Two can be paired.
Frank –
These little speakers pack a punch. Easy connection set up with the Bose App downloaded to your phone. The speakers have a long rechargeable battery life via USB charging. Plus, there is a little battery level indicator on the front of the unit and a voice prompt tells you the battery level every time you turn on off the speaker. Voice prompts connection and other helpful features. They are rated to be IPX7 splash proof. I have used them several times in the shower room full of steam without any issues. Get two speakers and easily pair them for party mode with or without stereo mode. No matter if used as a standalone speaker or paired together they sound great with rich, crisp, Bose sound.

The best bluetooth speaker Ive purchased in a while I usually dont get bluetooth speakers but this time around i really needed one my old JBL gave up. The sound is amazing, i believe you can link up 2 speakers for better surround sound. Honestly with one is great. You cns connect more than 1 device, i use it for my laptop and phone. Not sure if you can mess with the sound settings on the app, but let me tell you it has good bass Will probably purchase a second one.

I have been immensely happy with the sound quality of this portable speaker and it really blows the competition out of the water. Having it be waterproof is essential for bike commuting and I love how it reads out my battery level when I turn it on. However, the rubber handlebar strap on this speaker is a terrible design and I would consider it a deal breaker for recommending the product. I have had this speaker eject from my handlebars at least 10 times and today it was nearly run over by a car as I desperately tried to retrieve my 100 speaker. The latching mechanism on the strap is unacceptable and doesnt handle variations in handlebar diameter very well. a light touch of the speaker to change volume or songs can easily trigger ejection. Bose desperately needs to manufacture a secure handlebar mount for this thing. I am now looking into finding a cell phone handlebar clamp that will pinch the speaker and hold it securely, wish I could buy a purpose built one from Bose that would fit it perfectly.

I cant think of a thing about the Bose Soundlink Micro Bluetooth Speaker that is not good except possible the price if not purchased on a sale like I received through MF. But even at the regular price, this would exceed most peoples expectations for a speaker you can carry on your belt. This is very portable. It was easy to set up and connect with my phone. It has a really nice feel and I like the idea it is very water resistant. FYIsome of the usual stock selections for Pros and Cons and Describe yourself were not available to check in this review form.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago mainly for Friday day night happy hour and BBQs on my deck. I already own a couple of Bose products and knew what to expect. This speaker as surpassed my expectations for its price Excellent sound quality, great battery life and apparently you can get it wet too havent tested that yet and most likely wont I would highly recommend this product for anyone.

I primarily an Apple device user for sound i.e. HomePod but I bought this specific device to use in the bathroomshower. I was shocked by the quality this speaker has considering its smaller size. I mainly use it for podcasts in the shower not playing music as much and the speakers bass sounds excellent for spoken voices. However, when you play music, if you really value bass, try not to play it at higher volumes because then you are reminded it is a tiny, portable speaker. In short, this is a great speaker for those who are on the go or want waterproof capability with excellent sound for podcasts and great quality music at midlevel volumes.

The Bose SoundLink Micro is of surprisingly rugged construction for a piece of connected technology. Its durability, coupled with its size, make it the perfect tag along for any out of the house adventure, be it a picnic, a run to the store, or a hike through the woods. But the most amazing surprise is the quality of sound produced from such a small speaker. The SoundLink Mirco is capable of near flawless reproduction of crystal clear highs and rumbling lows of your favorite music, and frightening decibel levels. All it all, the amazing performance weve come to expect from a Bose product, and in this case, a larger speaker, in a compact size. Out of the box the SoundLink Mirco is easy to charge, using the included Micro USBtoUSB cable included just plug into a computer and let charge. While charging, direct your smartphone or other Bluetooth enabled device to the internet and download the Bose Connect App available for both iOS and Android, and thats it. Once charged, turn the SoundLink Mirco On, open the App and press Connect, and the linking of the two devices is complete. From this point forward the pairing is stored and you will not need to go though this process again. Begin playing any music stored or streamed from your device and experience what mobile audiophiles have been missing for years the faithful reproduction of your favorite music, without the diminished sound quality of headphones. Not all was perfect with the SoundLink Micro, as the first unit received was defective, and would not properly charge. Upon contacting Bose I was sent a new unit, along with a prepaid shipping label, in order to return the defective unit, no questions asked. Bose Technical Support and Customer Support were both top notch, and did everything possible to insure my Customer Satisfaction. If you are one of the 1in250,000 who do experience a issue with your Bose produce, I can assure you that Bose will resolve you issue.

I bought this primarily to use while riding my road bike. It is a pet peeve of mine when people ride their bikes and use ear buds or headphones. You need your hearing How do you expect to keep from getting hit by a car or run over by an emergency vehicle With this speaker attached to the handlebar, you can listen to all your playlist that sound fantastic while cycling down any road whether on a farm road or inner city… and avoiding a serious accident. I should have bought one of these years ago. After using mine, I enjoyed it so much that I bought one for each of my daughters.

Heard several good things about BOSE for many years. What held me back from purchasing was price . Got this portable speaker on sale for my daughter. She had had another much less expensive brand one that was on its last legs. Splurged and got her this one. Oh, my goodnessvery much worth the money. Very happy with quality and sound and for meease of use. Definitely recommended.

Im pretty sure we have all bought those ten dollar speakers and have been pretty disappointed once we got them home to use. Not this device, its small but mighty And it is affordably priced. I love that we can carry around from room to room, its mainly in the kitchen, but my hubby brings into the barn when he feeds the horses, and also down into his yoga studio. Most of the time just leaves it in his pocket when hes doing outdoor chores. Its that small. We love it and will be buying another to leave in the barn

During quarantine I wanted to create a musical vibe in my space, outsideof my earbuds. Plus, Ive always wanted a Bose speaker. When I tell you that this mini, waterproof, portable speaker goes boom its definitely a crowd pleaser when at home or on the go The price is just right. My Micro Portable will keep me hands free into the new year One of my best purchases of the year

On face value, I really didnt expect this little speaker to be so impressive. Price point is maybe a little high for the physical size of the speaker, but definitely not for the size of the sound. It is incredible how clear and defined the sound is, with the added bonus of being shock and water proof so my 1 year old son can drop it, suck on it, and do what ever he wants without any damage. He loves carrying it around while we play music for him, then at night we place in on our bed head behind us while watching Netflix on the iPad, and it truly sounds like we are in a mini cinema. Our Yamaha soundbar doesnt even come close to the sound quality of this little device. I want to grab a second one now as they can both be linked and synced.

Great Bose sound Using with new Asus laptop and usb hub. Setup connectivity recommendsrequires Bose Connect app that doesnt work with any device other than Androids, speaker marketed to use onthego. Manual connectivity possible, but needed to chat with Bose help. Went easily with laptop blue tooth. Comes with a strap for portable use, i.e. bikes. Heavy for wrist connection. Again, great Bose sound, worth the price. Set up should include manual instructions found many users had same surprise.

Ive been a Bose fan for a long time. This Soundlink Micro Bluetooth speaker reaffirms my admiration for their products.I have a Logitech X100 that I bought when Amazon introduced the 2nd Gen Echo Dot. I used that to boost the audio quality above the Echo Dots speaker. For 50, the Logitech X100 did the job. The Bose Soundlink Micro Bluetooth speaker may be about 100, but its sound quality is far above the Logitech. Once you start pumping Pandora, or iHeartRadio from your phone or tablet, you are enveloped in the rich soundscape that you would normally expect from Bose. When compared to a Bose Revolve Bluetooth loudspeaker, you dont get the same heartthumping bass nor the overwhelming volume. But the Soundlink Micro will certainly fill a decent sized room and will definitely pump more bass and better clarity than any Bluetooth speaker in its size class.Controls are fairly simple, on top, there are volume controls and a multipurpose button. On either side of the microUSB charging port is a power button and a Bluetooth button. Above the charging port there are 6 lights. 5 that indicate charge level and 1 that indicates that the unit is powered on, blinks for activity or changes blue for Bluetooth pairing.I wasnt sure when I read about the strap, but after playing around with it, its a nice idea. Its a silicone strap thats fixed on one side and has a hook on the other end for the catch point on the other side to secure the strap. This is great if you want to attach the speaker to the shoulder strap of a backpack. It is far better than having to deal with a bulky, hard plastic clip. This speaker is built solidly. There is a speaker grill on top and a grill on the underside for the bass. The feet are tall enough to make sure the speaker is not sitting on the strap. The speaker has a nice rubberized texture that gives you a more rugged feeling. Its been built to take modest falls. It can even be submerged in up to 1 meter deep water.Bluetooth initial pairing is easy and the Bose Connect app allows you further control over voice prompts and other settings. It is also responsible for firmware updates.I like that it even works as a speakerphone using the volume updown and multipurpose buttons to start, end, flash, and mute calls. If I had to ding this product its that it is only a Bluetooth speaker. There is no aux port and you cannot use the microUSB port as a aux input port either. Both those features you can find on the Bose Revolve speakers. In the box, you get the speaker, some legal, safety, warranty and basic instruction booklets and a 20 charging cable microUSB to USB A. There is no wall adapter included. The speaker charges at up to 5V 1.5A. At that rate, it takes about 3 hours to fully charge. Battery life runs about 6 hours.I really enjoy this Soundlink Micro speaker and I find it far more portable than the Bose Revolve. I can see myself strapping it to my backpack and taking hikes with it. Unfortunately for me, I can also see that the rest of my family wants their own.

My new best friend. Far superior in sound quality and ease of use than anything Ive had before. Has a subwoofer on the bottome, and an app I can kick people off the bluetooth. I bike with it, fits nice in mesh pocket. Also fits in my shorts pockets. Many have commented how great it sounds for its size. I have thought at times I could have gotten a can size one that would be lounder, but this is a personal speaker. Small things that do things well are always better.

Whilst working from home during the terrifying Covid19 pandemic, this gorgeous little gem of incredible sound is keeping me company entertainedalleviating possible boredom. Then after work it turns into our I actually share this cooking companion A super investment which is bringing so much pleasure due to the wonderful quality.Just also bought the stylish grey Soundsport headphones bought a set for my sporty music loving son in blue for my early daily walk to cheer me up listening to hilarious podcastsMy normal Prepandemic commute I use the Bose 700 cans to block out the noise of the trains commuters. As a family, we are living a life with less stress more fun, thanks to Bose.

The micro bluetooth speaker puts out an amazingly balanced sound for its small form factor. Detail, check. Vocal midrange accuracy and pleasing sound, check. Perfectly balanced bass, check. I got this to throw in the golf cart and cant believe how well executed this product is. A stunning innovation from Bose. Strap and versatility of placement a bonus Buy it without hesitation. I was browsing target store and played with this speaker a bit, saw the price, and thought what the heck. It has exceeded all expectations

I am always play music at work off my phone and the rich sound just isnt there with the phone speakers. So Santa brought me this amazing micro Soundlink Bluetooth speaker. It is small fits in my work bag. Has amazing Bose sound and the battery last me 3 days with at least 6 hours of play a day. The volume is moderately low during work with turning it up at lunch and end of the day It tells you when it is paired downloading Bose app. and volume can be controlled from speaker adjustment for my iPhone. Would be a great gift or a personal just because… have bought a few Bluetooth speakers in the past… no comparison Bose.. I am spoiled

I was hesitant to buy this, but it was worth every penny. I considered buying a soundbar for my tv. So glad I didnt I use this for travel, lake weekends, relaxing on the patio, parties and my tv The sound is SO much better than my TVs sound. It has so many uses. Youll love it.Buy this today. You wont regret it.

I would like to express my appreciation to this great product from Bose company. I was very pleasantly surprised that such small speaker can produce pretty crisp detailed and powerful sound. This speaker is very mobile and can be placed on any stable surface. The devices battery holds pretty well and easily connects through Bluetooth with the phone or other Bluetooth enable devices. I would highly recommend this product to everyone.

Bought this for hubby and he absolutely loves it holds a charge forever. He had a beats pill prior and after about a year he could only use for a couple hours. sound is awesome for the compact size, waterproof and so durable this is a must have for yard work, beach, pool, picnics love it so much bought 3 more for family members

I purchased this around six months ago in orange good thing too, keep reading. Absolutely loved still love my speaker. I used while hiking, biking, fishing, camping, bbqs etc… the sound has always been phenomenal for the size. The life after charge is much more than expected. However, a couple of weeks ago, I walked into my back yard and spotted something orange on the ground. I cant say how many days it may have been outside in the rain because I found it with dried mud on it. My very lovable, hyper and naughty dog must have swiped it when I didnt see him. Needless to say, after being chewed up, in the rain and dirt, the speaker still works great The speaker still charges and the sound is still phenomenal Unfortunately the strap is gone and I have to use a pen or something of same shape to press power. My only suggestion is, dont leave in reach of naughty dogs like mine

I chose this Bose speaker over the Sony portable one because I have another Bose sound speaker at home and the shop attendant advised I could link them. Im very disappointed with the sound volume. I feel like i get better sound from my android phone, tablet and logitech bluetooth speaker. I also cant get it to add to my Bose Music app to control through there the app doesnt provide an option for the Bose Soundlink Micro Bluetooth.I chose the orange as I wanted to take it when I travel and it is easier to find something that is a bright colour in your luggage.

BEWARE, A great speaker, excellent sound for size BUT one major problem. It is not compatible with most or all Bluetooth adapter transmitters connected to lineout on nonBluetooth sources. This is also true of the Bose Color II speaker.I have Bose Soundsport Free earbuds, QC35II headphones, a Soundlink Mini II and original Soundlink Color speakers. These all pair normally with my iPhone6, iPod 4, iPad 2018 and apple MacBook Pro 2012. They also pair normally with Bluetooth transmitter adapters connected via lineout to nonBluetooth audio sources. While pairing normally with my other devices, the Soundlink Micro does not pair normally to Bluetooth transmitter adapters Pairing is difficult to establish. The volume control on the Soundlink Micro is unresponsive, and only a very soft volume can be played regardless of the transmitted signal. Two different Bluetooth 4.1 transmitters had the same result. My Bose Soundlink Micro and other Bose devices all had the latest updates installed.I discovered the incompatibility when I purchased a second Soundlink Micro for the purpose of using with a Bluetooth adapter for nonBluetooth audio sources.I visited the Bose store, who tested a third Soundlink Micro on a Bluetooth transmitter of their own with the same outcome. They found the same result with a Color II speaker.Clearly, Bose has changed its Bluetooth compatibility in the latest speaker models. There is no warning in the manuals or marketing material, and my Bose store was completely unaware of this. Unfortunately for me, the compatible Soundlink MiniII is discontinued.Bose customer service were polite but unhelpful, offering only an excuse of Bluetooth incompatibility, and sending the Bluetooth specs for the speaker. They refused to recommend any compatible adapter and also refused to answer my questions of1 whether the deletion of previous Bluetooth compatibility was intended or not2 Would there be software or firmware updates to correct the problem. If not for this problem, I would award 5 stars.A refund for lack of suitability for purpose for my second speaker would not be offered my least desired outcome. As a lover of Bose products over many years, I am very disappointed at the lack of Customer Assistance offered.

Im in love with this speaker because it offers excellent sound in a merely 3.75 square by 1.25Ive tried different small speakers before and I lived with the idea that adding a good bass into a compact was an impossible, but Bose has it solved with this one.I love the bottoms, its soft rubberized design, the vinyl strap to secure it in many places including my belt, definitely perfect. The voice activated feature works great with Siri to make phone calls, hand free texting, etc.The apps works seamlessly and Bluetooth connectivity works greatExcellent choice for the price

I am so pleased to have this new addition to my BOSE lineup. And wow, this is one of the best yet. I genuinely cant believe how great the sound is from such a small package really rich and pleasing. Doesnt feel compromised in any way.I have been doing all sorts of work around the house lately, and this micro speaker has made the work a lot more pleasant So easy to pick up and take with you as you move around. That being said, the sound is so good and the volume incredibly powerful without distortion, that you dont always need to move it with you…the sound will still be amazing from the next roomIt feels really robust too, and not having to worry about damage, dirt, or water, is seriously great Im going on holiday soon, and excited to be taking it with me. It will take up no space at all to pack, and will be brilliant on the beach, out for a walk, and in the hotel room. Cant waitAlso loving it at the end of the day… In combination with my Amazon Music and an Alexa voice search on my phone for sleep music, I enjoy a gorgeous playlist of tracks to send me off to sleep. Its small enough to fit on the bedside table, so just idealI can offer only a few niggles so far. Every now and again I get a wierd volume surge, which comes and goes pretty quickly. Not sure whats causing that, but maybe its the bluetooth or my phone And although the app is great, I dont like the fact that it needs my location on why to get going. I generally keep the location on my phone switched off, so this is unwelcome. But otherwise, it charges really quickly and is so easy to use.Im loving this enough to consider getting a second one for the Party and Stereo modes around the house. The sound from just one is great, so I can imagine pairing two will be extremely impressive.I can really recommend this little gem. Well worth the price, and has so much going for it. Another amazing product from BOSE. Thanks

I only buy Bose to begin NFL does know a good thing too right They use it.. I was not expecting a massive or full sound from a minute small speaker so cant say I was blown away since I expected a good decent sound so was satisfied for the money we paid for it. The best features is the size, the quality housing and the length of the battery. You can literally thrown it into a backpack, into your jeans, into your workshop, hanging in your home gym, etc. These 3 things alone make it worth the purchase. Give it a good charge the first time, wait till it dies off…and make sure you have a charger near by so you dont get frustrated. Dont overcharge it..the battery will last longer when you give it ONE good charge not intermittent charging will kill the battery. For the price excellent pricing and like I said…you get what you paid for with decent quality including sound. I would buy them as gifts as well. I come back to Bose for one other thing as well. Customer Service, Warranty.

I was looking for a portable speaker with great sound but for me portability was key. This Bose speaker not only sounds great but also is incredibly compact. The battery clocks in at a soso 6 hours but the sound is fantastic for its size and its size is perfect to fit into my backpack, jacket pocket, or anywhere else I may need good sound on the go.The speaker also has this odd silicon strap on the back that you can use to wrap around a handle bar or a backpack strap, Im not sure I trust it in a very active environment considering it only locks in with a small nub, however it should hold pretty sturdily if just doing some walking or hiking or biking on smooth roads.

This little speaker packs a punch It produces sound at levels that punch above its size. The controls are easy to use and I like that it can pair to multiple devices. I generally carry two cell phones and I can switch seamlessly between them on the speaker. The silicone strap on the back is secure and Ibe used it to attach to my belt and a backpack shoulder strap. The sound quality is better than I expected sounding full even at max volume. I think this is the best value for a speaker of this physical size.

I have owned bicycle speakers for more than 10 years, including one in which you inserted an iPod Nano to play tunes. Cue Archie and Edith Bunker. Since then, I have owned the Outdoor Technology Buckshot, Boombotix Rex, Boombotix Pro and Ultimate Ears UE Roll2. I typically bike 10 miles per day in urban traffic and have always upgraded speakers due to increased volume so that I can hear the music over traffic. Frequently, I have sacrificed sound quality for volume. My husband and I bought the UE Roll 2 due to increased volume weatherproofing and the ability to pair two speakers so that he and I could listen to the same music when we ride together. The hub eventually ditched his UE Roll 2, because he could not skip songs in his playlist through the speaker. I ordered the Bose speaker, because I love my Bose Sound Sport headset, and the UE Roll 2 is like a salad plate in size.Since purchasing The Bose SoundLink Micro, I have biked listening to music run listening to music and walked the dogs listening to podcasts. Firstly, the texture of the sound is amazing. I am not an audiophile, but I could not believe the beauty of the music through this little speaker. Secondly, truly beats the UE Roll 2 in its portability and features i.e., pause tracks, skip to the next track, restart the current track, pauseplay and initiate Siri. Thirdly, it stays put. When I unpacked it, the clip kind of freaked me out. It just didnt seem substantial. However, I only had the clip come undone when it was on a belt, and I bent over at the waist. A movement that a tension clip likely also would have been impacted by. Finally, at the top end of the volume range, I can hear music when large trucks pass me on fourcarwide urban streets. Spoken words were a bit harder to hear, but honestly this speaker did the best of all that I have tried.I give it five stars out of five assuming that the clip continues to serve me well.

At first, I thought, why would I buy a rugged bluetooth speaker from Bose for 100, when there are so many other, cheaper competitors which come well acclaimed by many, can it be that much better.I have had this speaker a few years now and I have only positive things to say.It is an ultimate example of you get what you pay for, I have paid more for a speaker of a different brand, that is larger and supposedly has more bass etc etc, for its size this beats it in every way.Connecting is so easy and with the Bose connect app you can remove those annoying voice prompts. The next time you have your devices bluetooth turned on, and you turn on the speaker, it connects instantly, faster and more reliably than any other bluetooth device I have owned. It also has bluetooth low energy which is incredible, it means that even whilst turned off, you can connect and switch it on via your device. This means you can come home, take off your headphones, and continue listening through your SoundLink Micro without having to even interact with the speaker, giving it the always available feeling you would get from a WiFi based home speaker system. I thought this was great but was sceptical of how it might affect battery life if the bluetooth low energy is always available, even when off, but it doesnt affect it in any perceivable way.The battery life is incredible, again, I cant explain how the amount of features, usability, battery life, and volume, dont seem like they should be able to come from such a SMALL device. The battery specs say 6 hours but honestly Im sure I get more than that even today and I have used it for easily over a thousand hours over its life. The volume goes above and beyond the level you might need for a shower or companion music to an outdoors activity, cycling, hiking, etc. It might not be absolutely enough punch to fill a house for a house party but it absolutely will fill a room or even two with enough loudness and enough bass to not be harsh to the ear, like you expect small speakers to be.The rugged construction is again surpassing of anything you could expect, the similar speaker of another brand I had in the past, was supposedly a speaker for pool parties, the beach etc, and one dunk in water and it was never the same. This speaker from Bose however, has fallen in the shower many times, it has also made trips bouncing all the way down a flight of stairs, with no breaks and the music not even faltering. The bluetooth connection is superb, it allows playback through two walls or for example in a house with two levels you can be upstairs and on the other side of the house and it still play perfectly.I could go on and on but rest assured I dont believe it possible for anyone to regret this purchase. I listen to music most of my day and I am also a tech person who has tried many bluetooth audio devices and this is not only the best bluetooth speakers of its class but also one of the most reliable pieces of technology I own, and best purchases I have ever made.I came back to the Bose website just to write this long review after 2 years because that is how much I enjoy this product, and I want to encourage the company to keep quality to this standard always. That should tell you enough about the product on its own.

I was very impressed with the bose soundlink micro. This small speaker produced amazing sound quality. The highs and lows were very clear and the bass was not to overwhelming. The speaker came in a small box that was not hard to open and all the required components such as the charging cable were under the speaker. I plugged the speaker up using the adapter from the bose soundlink revolve and it charged within a few hours. After charging the speaker I played a few songs in my room and it produce enough sound to fill my large room with the volume slightly above the half way mark. I turned the speaker volume all the way up and it got incredibly loud without distorting. I was very impressed with how it did on the inside that I decided to take it outside to try it out. I played some music outside and the sound was loud enough for many people to hear and I found that wonderful. The product seems very durable. I had no issues with my revolve plus getting wet so I know that if this speaker gets extremely wet that it should be okay. Also since the speaker is surrounded in what looks like rubber material I feel that if it falls and hits the ground that it should survive also. The battery life on this speaker is also great. I got over 6 hours of usage with the volume above the halfway point on my Iphone. Connecting to this product is no issue. Once you turn it on all you got to do is go to your bluetooth settings and it will appear with no issues. The bose connect app makes it a lot easier to connect to the speaker and is great for when you have more then one bose speaker because you can connect both of the speakers together. I feel that this speaker is worth the money and anybody who buys it will certainly get what they pay for. I have owned multiple bose products and they continue to impress me with every product they release.

Small and powerful. Great sound. I use it all the time when going to the beach or swimming. Its waterproof, so if it gets splashed, no need to worry. It has retained its battery life for a year now. I get about 8 hours total on 1 charge. At home, I use it as a bluetooth speaker for my living room tv. It connects automatically separate dongle but I keep it plugged in, so when the tv is turned on, it connects. Would make a great gift too

I use it only for hands free cell phone connectivity in a car. This is not the first one of these devices I have owned, however, it is the best by far.1. Instantly connects to the phone when turned on see 4 below.2. Audio clarity is excellent3. The status lamps are too dim for daytime use, not a significant fault when one gets acquainted with the device.4. Have found it only connects when first turned on, requiring that it be turned off when the cell phone is removed from car so that it can be turned on in presence of the phone to perform the search for connectivity

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter whos in college. She had asked for a specific brand of speaker but I was still unsure of what to get because within that brand there were still so many different kinds. After reviewing some of them, I decided on this one, though still unsure if it was what she wanted. I also liked that it wasnt bulky, not too expensive, and it came in different colors. So I picked a color and purchased one and was pleasantly surprised by her reaction as she yelled with excitement when she saw what it was. I also got extra points for it being her favorite color Within moments she was using it and has been using it since. Thank you so much It was a great buy

Ive been living with this little speakers for a few weeks now. First impressions were good. When extricating from the usual Bose monochrome packaging, I was initially struck by the weight and texture of the product. Whilst quite large for a portable micro speaker its fitted well into my admittedly quite large hands and had a smooth rubbery feel. No doubt this is to aid with its advertised waterproof abilities. After a couple of hours of charging I was ready to start using the micro in anger. To be fair, at first play it sounded lightweight and a brittle, but I wasnt surprised by this as most speakers need a period of running in to loosen everything up. I left it to run in for 24 hours and then went back for me. I fired the speaker up with some ACDC and was astonished at the amount of bass coming out. It was firm and punchy. The treble wasnt too bring either, just right in fact. Its not all perfect though, the middle of the frequency range vocals, guitars etc feel boxed in, no doubt a necessary compromise to create such a product at this size.Even still, it wasnt wearing on the ears and I enjoyed a long listening session with rock, classical and acoustic music, and it dealt with every genre with ease.Dont bother with the Bose Connect App. You dont need it. Just connect to an iphone or ipad over Bluetooth and its picks it up fine. Range is about 5 metres in the house, maybe a little more outside. This isnt an audiophile speaker by any stretch of the imagination, but if you need something to take camping, to the beach, or to attach to your bike and ride through the park annoying the visitors its loud enough then this will do fine. Pricing is quite fair too, given the price of the competition.Nice job Bose.

I bought this to use at the beach and for travel. I stream Xm radio from my phone and it sounds greatI also own the slightly larger portable Bose speaker and this one is slightly less battery and not as loud but all Ive used since because it can fit in a backpack pocket easily. Only negative battery life could be longer 6 hours. So for a whole day it starts to run out but charging before use solves that. Plus I keep a portable charger with me at the beach so not an issue

I got to know of this product through Bose ambassador Niall Horan but I fell in love with everything that it claimed to be. Despite the high price tag, I decided to take a leap of faith and bought one and after months of using it, heres my review.First off Appearance. I had an estimation of the size of it thanks to Nialls posts, but I was surprised at the weight it has. To me, this is a good thing because it feels sturdy but it may be a turn off to others. But overall, I find its design to be rather cute and userfriendly. In terms of sound, it does have a rich bass and clear, crisp sound. However, it does tend to sound a little muffled. Also, I find that adjusting its volume via your device phone, tablet, etc rather than using the buttons on the speaker is more effective. When answering calls, I could hear the caller crystal clear and they had no problems hearing me.As for the strap… I expected more from it as its not as versatile as I thought it would be. But seeing as I usually just lay it down on flat surfaces, it isnt much of a concern for me. The silicone feels durable, though… and the clasp really secure.Battery life is average up to 6 hours of continuous usage. It isnt much different from other Bluetooth speakers. But I do like the battery indicators and that the speaker announces how much percentage is left. Finally, in regards to how waterproof and shockproof it is It passed everything. I initially did not want to test its claims because why risk it But the other day I left my speaker in my backpack and it got thrown into the washing machine meaning it got washed along together with my laundry. But imagine my surprise when I discovered that it really did lived up to its claims My speaker is still working fine and there isnt much damage in terms of appearance other than a few small dents from being trashed around in the washing machine.Overall I am happy with this product seeing as its my first Bose product and that I got it on a whim just because my favourite artist uses it as well. Thank you Bose for this speaker and thank you Niall for introducing it to me

Ive held off on acquiring a Bluetooth speaker for quite a long time. After seeing the pros and cons of those owned by friends, I decided to give the Bose Soundlink Micro a try.Im really pleased with this little guy. It has the sound quality weve come to expect from Bose. Nice midrange, highs that arent tinny and decent bass actually exceptional bass for its size. IThough sized for personal use, the volume has enough oomph for others to enjoy it while at pool party or hikingbiking. You can control the volume via your source phone, computer or other Bluetooth origin or via two indentationsbuttons on the Bose. The Soundlink is covered in a satin silicone coating for resilience and waterproofing IP7 This means you can have it outdoors in the rain,or accidentally drop it into a puddle, ice chest or your drink you know you have and it comes out like a champ. Of course, you shouldnt drop it because it has an integrated flexible strap allowing you to wrap it around a handlebar, backpack strap, etc.Another cool feature is that the Soundlink has a microphone so you can use it as a speakerphone. It looks good enough for an office environment. Pretty cool.

This is a great mobile speaker. Bose makes other portable speakers which sound better than this one, but the mobility of this one makes it great. For as small as it is and as easy it is to carry around or wear, the sound cannot be beat. The bass is surprisingly strong and the highs are easily attained. Walking around inside the sound varies a bit depending on the walls, size of the room, sound absorbing materials. But once outside where this speaker needs to be used the sound is pretty constant and surprisingly loud enough. The speaker feels solid and has some heft to it, but is not heavy. It easily straps to your belt or handlebars or backpack or any other kind of strap you may want to attach it to. The attaching strap seems solid and stretches just enough. The rubberized case makes it appear pretty impervious to damage, although dropping it should be unlikely due to the strapping system.Setting the Bluetooth up was pretty simple as Bose sound prompts walk you right through it.Sounds good, feels solid and is very portable a great all around package for a good price.

Weve have a sound link for many years and it seemed to be going. Battery not lasting, Bluetooth not connecting, etc. Went to go get another and decided on the micro. It produces sound almost equivalent to a traditional sound link. It is easily portable, has a very long battery life, durable water resistant luckily havent had to test that feature. Good for those who like to hike, camp or spend extended time outdoors on the go.

Bought 2nd one last week. Bought one months ago as a gift for my son. I already knew the quality and loved it and is why I bought a second one. However, the specs and other reviews said battery life was approx 6 hrs. NOT TRUE. Unless you are blasting this on full volume then maybe 6 hrs, it has much longer battery life. I have been streaming 4 hours nonstop music and talk radio today at the office with the volume at approx 30 and the battery life reads 70 remaining. This likely means I can probably stream at this level for another good 68 hours for a total of 1012 hrs and midlow volume. Granted, it may drain faster as battery is used up so 1012 hrs may be a stretch, but clearly a lot longer than reported 6 hrs. I thought to pay attention this time as the first few days I had it, I just streamed and plugged it back in without thinking about how much juice I had left. Ill try to have it running at about 5060 volume over the weekend to see how long the battery last but as with most Bose products Ive owned in the past, it has exceeded my expectations. The only drawback is that the strap does come loose if I accidentally rub across the tip It is very secure if its away from any moving parts.

100100 this speaker is incredibly loud for how small it is. Its perfect for travel, I take it with me to the beach and long car rides since we dont have a stereo in our car. Its perfect, it connects to Bluetooth so easily and remembers connections afterwards. You can pair with multiple devices and the charge lasts a long time I really like that when you turn it on, it immediately tells you what the charge is at so you dont have to guess when the next time you should charge your speaker is the party or fun isnt ruined by unexpected low battery Will always recommend this micro Bose speaker to anyone looking for an amazing speaker for parties, trips, or been just being around the house

THIS IS THE BEST ITEM I HAVE RECEIVED IN RECENT MEMORY This was a Christmas present from my son, a 1st Lt, USMC, JAG in training, Quantico,, home on leave for the holidays. Knows I have a passion for listening to Audio Books Harry Bosch, Lincoln Lawyer, etc.. Purchased this Bose Bluetooth almost indestructible speaker so I could listen wherever, even in the shower I use it in the shower while getting ready for work, and even in my truck, as the sound quality is better than my factory speakers Am going to purchase another, as this has stereo capability. OUTSTANDING QUALITY I have come to expect from ANY BOSE product. Other brands may be trendy, but BOSE is the best

It cannot be overstated how good this speaker is. The sound is clear, the base is profound and not distorted. I cannot believe how loud it can be for its size. I use it while driving a bus on the streets of Montreal, which gets as noisy as it can get. And this speaker triumphs over it all. The best part is the battery life. Its advertised as up to 6 hours. I get at least 10. And this is after using it daily, almost one year after I purchased it. I cant think of anything bad about this speaker. Worth every penny and then some.

The Bose Soundlink has great sound and that is the main thing of course. My first minor complaint is that I cant stand the speaker upright on its own because its edges are rounded. Sometimes, I wish I had bought a speaker with a flat bottom. The speaker has to lean against something. My second minor complaint is that sometimes there are too many messages being mumbled out. I am happy or fine with the announcement about the battery charge when turning on the speaker. That is all the messages I need.

First off, having one is pretty amazing for most practical use, but have you heard these in Stereo Mode through the Party Mode function OMG. Best surround sound for its priceSummary Its awesome because it charges via Micro USB It doesnt have an AUX plugin, so be aware of that. The strap on the back is elastic with a hook that latches back onto itself. Useful for attaching to thin poles that are about 1inch thick in diameter. Battery life is rated for 6 hours, assuming on higher volumes, I think because these speakers have lasted for easily more than 6 hours on medium volume playback. The quality is obviously isnt as rich as any of the OG Soundlink speakers or the Soundlink Revolve speakers, but definitely comparable to the Soundlink Color models. Having a pair of these speakers in Stereo Mode and properly place in the room will sound better than one of any of the above speakers, in my honest opinion and you can have 2 speakers for the price of one.Easiest way to put the two speakers into Party Mode Connect both speakers, one at a time. On the speaker you connect last, press hold the Bluetooth Volume buttons at the same time until the dialogue. On the other speaker, press hold the Bluetooth Volume buttons at the same time until you hear a beeptone. Wait until up to 10 seconds be patient and it will announce Party Mode, which will playback on both speakers in unison. In the app, you can turn on Stereo Mode to convert the speakers to Left Right to separate the sounds. It makes your music sound AMAZING.As a photographer and a music lover I have music on for about 90 of my day, not even kidding, having this speaker always on me has always been a great thing. Its tiny, compact, easy to keep charged, and I have a pair to put in Stereo Mode to give me a great sound experience every time Im at a shoot, at a small gathering, or in my room editing.I used to have the very first SoundLink speaker which lasted me all the way until recently and was looking to get something to replace it, but these came out and I was actually very impressed by the sound quality and distribution in Stereo Mode. It seemed much more practical to have for my needs. One of these already sounds amazing for its size. The bass gives that Bose thump. On medium volume, which is good enough to fill a large room with good sound without being too loud, Ive had it on for a whole 8hour shoot. Sometimes, I like to listen to music in the shower and will bring one in. Waterproof indeed. All the splashes do not harm this speaker. The only think I can picture better than these in Stereo Mode are the Revolve speakers in Stereo Mode. Those are definitely my next purchases. Until then, these are definitely the best lowbudget BOSE speakers I could ask for.

I bought the little Bose SoundLink Micro Portable Bluetooth speaker as a temporary fix when I purchased a turntable to play my old LPs. I didnt know the turntable didnt come with speakers and I hadnt done any research so I got the little Bose speaker to use until I could figure which real speakers to buy. That was more than a month ago and Im still using the little Bose speaker because it has great sound and excellent range. The audio is crisp, with a rich sound and deep bass. Sound quality is great at low volume, but if I have to turn the volume up I dont hear any distortion or loss of quality. Ive since used it for its intended purpose portability, and I love it for that, too. The Bluetooth pairing to my iPhone or my turntable was easy and painless. The only downside Id say is the charging cord is very short. But the battery holds a long long charge, so thats good. specs say 6 hour charge I use it out by the pool and although I havent tested it, reviews say it is waterproof a bonus

1 year of ownershipGoodSound quality is amazing. Perfect for travelling, using it in the bathroom not actually in the shower or when cooking in the kitchen. Has good bass and sound quality is stable above a volume that is reasonable.Battery life is long enough.Durability is great, have dropped dit several times and its still working perfectly.Water resistance is great too, i use it daily in a steamy bathroom or kitchen.BadConnection distance isnt what I was expecting, you move two rooms over an youre likely to have a problem.Connectivity with devices is also a pain. Have had issues with tinny sounds when connected to my MBP. It also gets confused with what device its connected to, if both are present. Device cycle option maybe Press the bluetooth button twice to skip between devicesOnly just today am I getting the speaker dropping out when connected to my MBP, could be the mac but who knows.Overall worth a buy but some minor tweaks could be made to make gen 2 better connection range. Or a software update for the devices.

The Bose Micro SoundLink bluetooth speaker is the absolute best, clear, crisp, and versatile speaker that I have ever owned. It is worth every single dollar and penny that it cost. I actually bought a second one to play them together in party and stereo modes. Besides being a set of speakers for streaming media, the speakers can be used in combination with your smartphone to answer calls in in bluetooth mode. The voices on the other end of the call could not be more crisp and clear. Plus those on the other end of the call can hear you perfectly clear whether stationary or on about the move within the appartment. Bottom line dont settle for one of these ideal Bose speakers get yourself two. You will get what you paid for, with never ending dividends.

A fantastically powerful portable speaker, gives out a great sound in any environment I have used it in such as beachshowerkitchenboard room saved my life when delivering a presentation when the inhouse speakers werent working.I work away a lot and needed something that could withstand the amount of travelling I have to do and this speaker has never failed to impress in any environment. The speaker has now become an essential part of my daily routine in the shower every morning and then moving around the house with me as I get ready for the day ahead.Recently I got a second speaker and the sound of two together just blows me away. With 2 I dont have to carry the speaker around, I can just pair them and play the same music on both speakers. Having said that, the speakers come into their own in stereo mode which sounds out of this world when standing in between them in the shower.Set up was relatively easy but I did find the speakers needed an update to make pairing happen seamlessly. If you find yourself in this situation then plug it into a PC and visit the update site as updating over Bluetooth takes a while.Needless to say, I now travel with 2 speakers so I can take the awesome sound with me wherever I go.

I loved my first Micro, and was really pleased with the sound quality and versatility But now Ive got a second one, and I have to say, the results of pairing the two have been incredibleIts really straightforward to set up the pairing on the app although, as ever, I object to the need for my phone location to be on…whats wrong with wifi and bluetooth alone. To get my first impression, I held one speaker in each hand on either side of my head, and woweee The sound came alive like I would never have imagined. For such small speakers, I really couldnt believe it. And as they are so small, its easy to place them anywhere you want in the room and no need for access to plugs just charge them up ahead of time.We had a Christmas party shortly after I got the second one, and it was really brilliant. I connected them to the phone with the app, picked a Christmas mix on my music app, and let the party begin. Volume was quickly adjusted via the phone, and when the party moved into another room, I just picked up the speakers and moved them with us. Really great No worries about them getting damaged either, as these are really robust speakers no need to be concerned about a drink spilling over them as they are built for all sorts of conditions. So thumbs up from me So glad I got the second one, and still cant believe the quality of the sound that emerges from the pairing of these little beauties. Highly recommended

The Bose Soundlink Micro Bluetooth speaker is a great value at just under 100 dollars. Ive had a few bluetooth speakers its by far the best sounding one Ive owned for this price range. The only gripe I have is, after having their new soundlink round wireless speaker and seeing what a circular speaker brings to the table in terms of filling the whole room with sound, its hard to ignore the difference. But the difference between the two are 300 to 100 so a drop it sound quality is expected. The battery life is decent and the weight is good. The speaker itself feels solid and robust and fits in the palm of your hand. I can easily seeing taking this to the beach or anywhere where we want portable music and not worrying about it. It has a nice magnetic attachment on the back to hook it to certain things to project the sound. The only other gripe I have is they decided to use this matte finish again which Ive found tends to get a little smudged over time and show fingerprints no matter if you try to clean it. But for under 100 dollars I dont think you can find a better wireless speaker. Bose always brings a quality product.

Waterproof. Great sound, great battery. Only thing I would change is making the strap a little more difficult to unhook. Great on a pack but I get nervous about the strap on my SUP. Still, definitely a happy customer here I wear hearing aids so the crispness of this sound makes a huge difference especially at low volumes for me. The Bluetooth connectivity works great too.

Easy to setup. Highly portable and durable. Tried in shower and works fine. The latch to secure the speaker to objects is not so great, but gets the job done. Battery life is good. Sound quality is similar to Soundlink Color. Overall an excellent purchase. But the price is quite high when compared with other products.
JayLov1011 –
The sound quality is decent. I use with my iPhone and I never put the volume above 80 percent or you will lose the base when listening to music. Much better with spoken word listening like podcasts and talk radio. Not the biggest fan of the strap as it has already started to lose elasticity after only a couple of stretches. Also the hook doesnt hold that well without really hard tension and comes loose on its own. Definitely not the most secure like the carabiner on other speakers. Also it took damage pretty quickly on the back grill, not even sure what cause the damage. Good small speaker but definitely wait for sales.

How did those wizards at Bose fit so much sound into a pocketsized speaker I have to say I was very dubious and so decided not to just order online like I do with so many things now COVID is a thing. So I went to check it out instore and I was amazed The sound is comparable to the Bose system in my car and that has 6 speakers I think. Anyway it is an awesome sound I notice people complain about the strap but I have used it to wrap around the stem on my electric scooter and it grips better than strong velcro. I ride over a lot of bumpy terrain on my way to work and the speaker doesnt budge. Yet it is easy to unfasten the strap and remove the speaker for charging. Being waterproof is also important in this application. Well done Bose on another great product

Bose doesnt disappoint. This micro Bluetooth speaker delivers good quality sounds and is perfect for when Im in my room, out in the yard with some friends, or strapped to my crossbody cruising in a golf cart. Its waterproof for my clumsy moments but I havent tested it out yet. I love the silicone coating around the speaker which makes it feel nice cool and sturdy. And the orange color is fun a break from the monotonous black.

From taking the SoundLink Micro from its packaging it was obvious that its build quality was up to the usual Bose standard. Its weight in relation to its size, rounded contours and its rubber coating give one the impression that it will be able to fulfil its expected performance in both dry and wet environments.Connecting the speaker to a number of different devices proved straightforward using either the Bose Connect app or by the normal way of selecting the device from the Bluetooth list. Once connected the speaker shows just how efficient at sound handling something so small can be. Initially I used the speaker in the bath room to compare its performance with that of another premium small waterproof speaker I have. The sound quality from the Bose is far superior over a wide range of music types. The integrated flexible rubber strap has allowed me to use the speaker whilst on the move attaching it to the belt of my trousers. I have never had the feeling that the speaker would detach itself, although I believe that if it did the fall would not prove problematic.Wherever used the bass response is particularly impressive for something so small, but the speaker copes very well with the wide range of frequencies and musical instruments related to my classical music recordings. The speaker has been used to play a full range of music from my Spotify account and once again has coped admirably both at home and out and about.I have not had any problems with the length of the battery life, stated to be 6 hours, but I do tend to keep the speaker charged where possible. No problems have been encountered with loss of signal provided the speaker is within its normal Bluetooth range. When connected to my Amazon Echo Dot and using Alexa I have not experienced any problems related to quality or intelligibility of speech.

My husband and I own two SoundLink Micros and we absolutely love them Next time they go on sale again, I will probably snag another one. The sound quality is amazing as expected with Bose. I love the party mode setting and having the sound circulated in the room. They are easy to connect to pretty much any device and their size is perfect for traveling or jumping from one house to another. You will not be disappointed with this highquality portable speaker

The Micro should have received 4 12 stars. Only drawback is it didnt last long enough for me. The sound began distorting approx 2 wks ago. Sound produced prior was excellent clear, not tin can like at all. goes for phone calls as well as Music. Music wasplayed loud or soft with ease. Easy to pair up and once thats is done, it is automatic. Good shape, doesnt get snagged on clothes. The strap doesnt tighten nor lock so it does flop andor comes apart. Could be slightly smaller so it could fit in a chest pocket. It is my dogs my walking buddy. No ear buds needed so one can hear surroundings .

Was looking for a new speaker with a longer charge life that was water proofresistant so I can listen to music while showering and getting ready. Have a Bose Sound Link Mini that I love but got tired of carrying from one level of the house to another. Did some searching and found this little guy. Was worried about the sound quality because its so small but went to BB and they had one on display and the sound was amazing. Its very loud and the sound quality is as good as any other Bose speaker. They were also on sale, so it was meant to be. Theres a secure strap on the back so you can take it anywhere bike, back pack, etc… and I can hang it from a hook in the shower. Its on the far side from the shower head and high up so it doesnt get submerged but so far so good from the moisture. I believe it is actually submersible but probably not going to test that on purpose. But its nice to know its probably protected from water. Its small, sleek, light weight, super easy to pair with the app and has a great battery life and theres no better sound quality out there.

I live in the Mountains of Washington State. Being Out of Doors is a way of Life but I still like to be connected to my Laptop while I work. The Bose SoundLink Speaker lets me listen to My Audiobooks and Music while Im out and about. The Acoustics are fantastic, but would you expect anything less from Bose. The range seems to be as described by Bose, at around Thirty Feet. If I happen to carry it beyond that range and I loose the signal, the Bose Soundlink easily picks It up again when I step back into range. The Bose Soundlink has a solid feel to it. I live in rough country and Mountain top weather can bring up a Storm in minutes…..and when It does its nice to know that my Bose is right there with me and can take the Dust and the Rain that the Mountain gods can throw at itI expect my Bose to bring me reliable entertainment through the years to come and still maintain that Legendary Bose sound.Rock on Bose and Thanks for a great productSigning off from the Washington Outback

1 feature about this speaker is that its waterproof. Pictures are worth a thousand words so they speak for themselves. I wouldnt recommend it, but I had this strapped to my bag and accidentally dropped it into the river for like 30 seconds while kayaking, but to my surprise it was still playing the entire time. The name micro is misleading because it fits perfectly in my palm and sound quality is solid. Sound starts fading out at peak so best to keep volume below 8085 to keep it crisp and balance. It has better than average bass for a speaker this size, but dont expect too much out of it.I like the durable tear resistant strap and the outer shell design. So far, I havent encountered any problem with strapping it to my bag or bike, but to the on the safe side I would loop another strap around it because its not a cheap speaker and I wouldnt want to lose it.Batter life has been great for me ranging 5 hours continuously playing. Make sure to download Bose Connect to get the best out of it because it offers party mode in which you can connect multiple speakers together. Unfortunately, I am the only one in my group that has this speaker so I dont get to use this functionality, yet.

I saw this in a airport shop before a flight travelling for work. A few reviews suggested it was OK and tax free was an incentive but it need not have been. This speaker is tiny but its sound is huge. Arriving at my hotel I connected my phone ands was instantly surrounded by awesome sound. I have used this camping, on my boat, at home and, of course, on work trips. I travel pretty light carry on only and, although this speaker is quite heavy, it eqarns it place in my bag with its sound quality. Really, owning this speaker is a no brainer, if you listen to music on your phone, you need a speaker like this and if you watch movies on a laptop then this will really make it come alive.

My daughter was kayaking in the ocean behind our house, and dropped her Bose Micro in about 10 feet of water. Luckily, we live in a tidal area, so after two high tides, I trudged out onto the mud flats and retrieved it. When I tried to take it apart to dry it out, I was impressed and encouraged to note the silicone glue in the joint between the two sections of the case. After sitting in a pile of silica gel packs for a day might not have even been necessary, I plugged it in and it started working. Charging it to 100 and then doing a battery test, but this thing seems like it is no worse for the wear. I am really impressed

This little beauty does a great jobUsing it with iPhone its simple to set upAnd playback sound is great Mainly old school punk and rock with a bit of mellow classics at times.I will buy this again so we can use in multi rooms and when needed use together in same room or outdoors.Batter is what they say 6 hours sometimes moreDropped it in a hot tub on a ski trip no problems worked great when it got picked out.Would like a better colour option rather than navy black or orange please.Main places its used are Kitchen Bathroom and the garden

My family and I purchased our first Bose SoundLink Micro in December and fell in love with it. Though small, it sounds deep clear and dynamic. In fact, when listening at close proximity we felt the Micro competed very nicely with much larger and higher powered speakers. We also found the Micro to be VERY mobile and rugged. We still like the convenience of the strap and the fact that the speaker is both waterproof and shock resistant. We thought we couldnt like our Micro more. That is, until we acquired a second one and paired the two together. Wow We have fallen in love all over again. If you own a SoundLink Micro, I would highly recommended getting a second one to play in tandem. The experience may not be everyone however, here is what you need to know. The two Micros connect and sync fairly easily through the Bose Connect App. They pair in either party mode or stereo mode. Party mode allows both speakers to play the same music simultaneously. Stereo mode separates the two speakers into dedicated left and right channels.Party mode has its place, but stereo mode is where the magic happens. To test the stereo mode I placed the Micros on each arm of my recliner. They stay put because of the nice weight and very low center of gravity. Also, the speakers face upward Which directs sound towards me when my chair is reclined. Talk about immersive Voices are projected upward and seem to hover in front of my head. It is as though the singer is present live and standing in front of the chair. Also, the instruments are separated beautifully from left to right and heard in their proper place on the sound stage. If the singer seems to be standing in front of me, then the instruments sound like the band is seated all around my chair. Truly an immersive experience as I am in a cocoon of sound. Very unique and magical. I also have highend stereo bookshelf speakers in the room placed so that my chair is in the sweet spot when I listen to them. The Micros on the armrests actually sound much more immersive. I have never heard anything like it You really must try it to appreciate it.There are some downsides to using two Micros at once. First, the speakers need to be relinked to each other each time they are powered on. For me, just a small nuisance for the reward of true stereo everywhere. The other downside is a lag when playing video. One speaker by itself works well, but the two playing together causes a delay for some reason. So, defiantly stick to just music when the two are paired together. In the end, we are happy having purchased two Bose Micros. We are still giddy that we can have REAL stereo separation with just these very small and portable Bluetooth speakers. Cant wait for summer to use them both by the pool. By the way, the Bose Micro also sync and play nicely together with both our Bose Revolve and Soundlink Mini II speakers. Great job Bose

Ultimately decided to buy this speaker over the UE Wonderboom. I wanted a portable speaker that I could use daily in the shower and kitchen and on bike rides. I liked the sound of both speakers but the Micro sounded overall more balanced and had a stronger midrange. The UE was very loud, sparkly, bassy and fun, but my ear was more drawn to the Micro. Surprisingly, the micro produced clear bass down to 65 Hz when I ran a sweep at medium volume, which is quite impressive for a speaker the size of a table coaster. It is very well built and more refined looking than the Wonderboom. It also has a smaller form factor and is better suited for clipping to a bike or backpack. The little plastic strap seemed flimsy at first, but upon further use, it is definitely well designed and convenient. It holds tight into almost everything Ive clipped it to.This BTS goes on sale for 69 at times and in my opinion that is a good value. The price of this speaker should probably be about 80 for what you get. Its normal price of 100 is a little steep, especially compared to the Wonderboom which dips as low as 49 but is almost always below 70 some colors. So if you can, wait and grab the Micro when the price drops.

I would have given five stars if this speaker wasnt so pricey and had a better battery life. Other than those only two negative attributes, this is an excellent speaker. If you dont mind shelling out about a hundred bucks and you dont need hours of usage at a time, go ahead and get it you wont be disappointed. It has good bass for its size and the overall volume is almost as loud as my HK Aura Studio speaker which is over ten times the size. It has very impressive quality sound. The outside has a good grip similar to the feel of a rubberlike cell phone case. This speaker can only be placed on its back it cant be placed as shown in the picture or it will fall over. Besides, placing it on its back is what helps give it its great sound, as it will use the table or whatever its sitting on to help amplify the sound. It does also have a nonremovable rubber strap on the back which would allow it to be attached to a handlebar on a bicycle or something similar. I never tested the strap, nor would I trust it to stay attached without falling off during a ride. Quite honestly, I would prefer the strap not to be there to begin with.
JAWs2 –
First off, the only reason I gave it 4 stars is that there is no Aux input. While bluetooth is nice, direct cable connect yields better sound and no lag. I must admit the bluetooth quality surprises me on this, but direct connect would certainly sound better. That said, I really like this speaker a lot. It just has a LOT going for it VERY good build sound quality, pretty rugged and the dang thing is waterproof. I have not seen anything in this price range that can compete, especially for its diminutive size. And I was never a Bose fan.For a pocket size speaker I actually can stuff this in my jeans pocket, the sound reproduction is very impressive much more detail than I expected. Decent base, good midrange highs. For those expecting audiophile quality and huge base well get real, but this thing does surprisingly well. FAR better than auditions of anything I found near this size. Its not super loud, but I can have a window open on the freeway and hear it. And the soft plastic case allows it to stay put on my sloping dash while driving. And it does a respectable job filling a fairly large room with sound all can hear.It does surprisingly well as a speakerphone. Much better than my phone. And I can easily just pick it up and carry it with me if need.A friend who has the Soundlink Mini 2 I played them side by side. While the mini has better and bigger sound, they are pretty close. This is mono. Whereas the mini is stereo, so you get some staging. But the sound isnt that much different. The micro allows you to pair it with another as L R speakers. One day I may give this a try. But, Im quite happy with this extreme portability and very good sound. I look forward to using it outside in warmer weather.I have the orange unit and the white lettering shows up nicely for the few buttons. The lettering did not seem to show up as well, to me, on the black or blue units. And the orange is easy to spot, so forgetting it seems less likely.

This little tiny flat cube is worth the money. A lot of sound comes out of this box and for the price is well worth it. Its small enough to fit in a purse so you can take it anywhere. Great for your patio. Easy to use and program with your phone or Bluetooth device. The sound is what you would expect from Bose. And for the price is much better in its class than most. Is it a high end Bose No. But what do you expect for this price. Its still a great value with a high end name. It delivers.

I use it in the shower. I love to have a world tour concert every time I take a shower and this is so perfect Clear, loud, and the sounds is so clean for such a small speaker. Strap I dont use so wont comment on it, but the sound is fantastic. Use at the beach as well PLENTY loud good music in small size. Beach and shower must have haha

I received this little monster for Christmas. My girlfriend got it for me to use in the bath, taking hiking, and to safely use when I ride my electric skateboard instead of earbuds. The sound quality is amazing for how small it is. I attach it to the shower curtain bar using the strap, put on the Spotify playlist Jazz Vibes, sink into the bath and drift away into relaxation. It attaches to my backpack straps with ease when I ride my electric skateboard. The speaker is non directional so it doesnt matter which way I strap it, but I will say it sounds better if its strapped on my shoulder as opposed to my chest.Bluetooth pairing is also very easy. I have it paired to both my phone and my MacBook Pro. And using it to play music and YouTube videos works nicely. I havent yet used it for the speakerphone to take calls, but it wont be long before I do.Overall, I think Ive already fallen in love with this little orange speaker orange is so bright and happy, why get any other color. I think I might get a 2nd so I can try out party mode as well as listen to music in stereo when Im camping at Coachella in April.

This speaker is great for travelling and given its size. Sound is good but if you are after a loud speaker, try something else. This is more for camping or I use it in my little office and the sound quality and bass are great but not very loud. The advantage is that you can connect two of these speakers together and then the sound volume is decent for a house party or bigger places.
VinDoo –
These are ultra versatile and have great sound. A little light on base, but still solid for their size. Mid range are excellent. Attachment strap on the back allows you to secure the speaker and comes in handy. We bought two and really love the party mode although it can take a few attempts to connect properly. Overall we are very pleased with these speakers, and definitely recommend these for someone looking for a versatile and outdoor ready speaker.

I wanted the Bose Soundlink Micro to use when away on company business and in our motorhome, but also to see how it compared with my Bose Soundlink Mini and Bose Revolve speakers.Based on my experience with Bose products, which includes their noise cancelling headphones and Bluetooth speakers, my expectations on build and sound quality were already high. I was not disappointed and the Soundlink Micro appears to be robust and sound quality was excellent, if not quite as good as the aforementioned products. I have not been brave enough to check out the Bose waterproof claims yet.I have used the speaker around the house and in our motorhome and have been impressed by the bass and sound levels that can be achieved by this tiny speaker. The level of bass can be finetuned by careful positioning of the speaker. Placing the Soundlink Micro near to a wall or corner of the room increases the bass level considerably. If you have another compatible Soundlink device, it is possible to use the speaker in conjunction with the Micro to achieve a stereo or monoparty mode pair. The sound produce by the pair is pretty impressive considering the size of the unit. The speaker design is a little unusual in that it will not stand upright and is designed to be positioned on its back if not attached to a belt or rucksack strap, for example. The speaker is easy to set up using Bluetooth and the rubberised buttons require little pressure to operate. I havent used the integral strap to attach the speaker to a belt and would be a little concerned that the strap may come undone. However, this concern could be misplaced, as the strap does seem to hold securely when under tension. In summary, I consider the Soundlink Micro to be a worthwhile addition to my Bose collection and would recommend the item to prospective purchasers, especially where a rugged device is required. I also consider the price to be quite reasonable.

This Bose speaker is absolutely phenomenal for its size. When it first arrived, I was a bit concerned about the sound quality for the size of the speaker. But as I unboxed it there was a nice weight to it. It felt very sturdy and well built. The materials used to make this felt high quality and nice to hold. Now moving onto the sound, I was shocked. This little speaker produces absolutely amazing sound. The base in it is quite noticeable, but could be a little bit stronger. All the other ranges sounded very clear. Even at higher volumes the sound quality did not become raspy and crackly. I was very impressed with the IPX7 water resistant level. This was the first speaker I was able to fully bring into the shower without worrying it would get wet. It sounded great in the shower, also I was able to attach it to the handle bar of my bike thanks to the silicon strap. It makes bike riding enjoyable as well as being aware of your surroundings. The battery life lasted about 6 hours for me, I was very happy with that. So overall I think this is a great speaker for the price of it, and its a very good go anywhere speaker, so you dont have to worry about breaking it.

We purchased 2 of these to use while bicycling around. To do so you enable party mode using the Bose app. The speakers can be about 30 apart and stay connected… more than that signal is lost but quickly reconnects once back in range. The sound quality is decent as is the build quality. My negatives are as follows Battery life isnt as good as the competitors. The price is much higher than competitors. And the app you are forced to use is frustrating and can be much better Were satisfied with our purchase and would recommend ifwhen Bose improves the app.

f you are shopping for portable speakers then you can stop looking. For the past 10 days since I received this tiny speaker in the mail, I have used it, abused it, and fell in love with it.The speaker delivered with no juice in its battery so it took a few hours for it to be fully charged. While waiting, I downloaded the Bose Connect app to my S7 and took a nap. Once it was fully charged, I pushed the power button and Bose Connect found it right away. Once its paired, Bose Connect notified me that there is a software update so I went ahead and updated it.I turned on Spotify Global Top 50 to get a variety of music to test and oh boy this baby rocked it. Very noticeable bass at 7080 volume. I am talking about good strong bass for a speaker that fits in your hand. Once I maxed the volume to 100, the bass is drowned out and it doesnt sound good so definitely keep your volume below 90 or maybe its just me.I used it for a few days and took it on a bike ride once along Lake Michigan and sadly abused it. During the bike ride, it provided great entertainment despites the loud wind and rustling fall foliage. Then it rained really hard that day and I forgot my poncho at home so yeah we were soaked in the rain for over 30 minutes. I went home, put it on the kitchen counter to let it dry overnight and forgot about it until the next day. To my surprise, its still working just as good as before. After that, I declare this is my favorite portable speaker. If you dont trust me, take it out in the rain once or twice and youll believe it.Cheers.

This portable speaker is great for outdoor use. It will take on the rugged terrain or minor drops you give it. The sound is crisper than all other Best Buy choices in its size. If you are looking for more bass then I would not recommend this product. But it does live up to the Bose name when it comes to quality of sound. Definitely is waterproof kayak tested and easy to connect to any bluetooth. Only negative comment about this is the built in strap it comes with when attaching it to something. I would not see myself attaching this speaker to a handle bar or bag by the strap alone….not very secure once rubber strap is streched to connecting locking hole port. The speaker can be unattached with easy if brushed on a tree limp and hard bump on the road….which making it an expensive mistake if detached to wherever it was strapped down to…

This is a great addition to my bike. The color is amazing. The sound quality is great. Of course if Im riding in louder conditions, I might have to crank up the volume a bit. The speaker does move a bit around the bikes handle bar but its never fallen off. Ive also noticed that some of the color on the back of the speaker has rubbed off from probably moving around the handle bar. Overall, no complaints would still highly recommend the speaker.

This is a great speaker. Clear sound. Easy to setup. Perfect size to take outside on a balcony or patio. Bought 2 actually. One for me the other a friend. My friend was happy with how clear the sound is and perfect for an apartment. We both agree we wish the bottom had a small base so it could stand up but other than that awesome purchase.

I love the sound quality of this little speaker. Its rich and sufficiently loud to fill a medium size room. Its small and compact enough to carry around with you throughout the house or on the go. I didnt want plain black so its nice they offered other colors, though I wasnt a fan of the orange color that looked more salmon to me so I went with the blue. Too bad there werent a few other color options. Im really disappointed in the strap they put on the back. Its meant to allow you to attach the speaker to things but Im trying to do so, it feels like youre just stretching the rubber strap out and it eventually wont tuck away nicely after that. I tried to hang it on a shower curtain rod and it wouldnt fit unless I really stretched it so I gave up. Still, I bought it for the sound and it has good sound for how small it is.
Underwhelmed –
As a long time Bose customer, I am extremely underwhelmed and very disappointed in several things about the SoundLink Micro. First, there is zero bass…this sounds like an AM Radio from the 80s. I looked for an equalizer setting but there isnt one. Second, I couldnt locate the ability to link it to play my Spotify or iHeart or Pandora play lists. The only option on their BoseConnect app is either my Music iPhone playlist or their TuneIn which is local radio. Finally, I was not able to pair this with my Bose Soundlink Color bluetooth speaker. If this wasnt a gift, I would be returning it. Instead, its found a home in the back of my drawer. Sorry Bose….you definitely missed the mark on this one.

I looked on line at a huge amount of outdoor speakers for a gift for my boyfriend. I thought I wanted large speakers and in the end I decided to go with the BoseSoundLink Micro which is pretty small in size. He couldnt love it more and uses it every single day. He is a runner and has it clipped to his arm, we take it on bike rides, to the beach etc. The sound is loud and amazing. Also it is completely water proof. A great feature is the tight strap in the back that has very little give. It wont fall of anything it is strapped too.
BellaB –
I am so impressed that a speaker this small can produce such great sound This speaker blows away any other mini speaker I have ever owned. The sound is rich and the bass sounds great. The speaker is waterproof and encased in rubber so it will hold up to picnics and pool parties but I like to listen to it in the house too. Its the perfect bathroom speaker and its great in the kitchen while Im making dinner. Its very lightweight and has a stretchy rubber strap on the back so you can hook it on almost anything. The app lets you name the speaker, check the devices its currently connected to, pair two speakers in Party Mode and set auto timers. You can control the volume from the app or directly from the speaker. When the speaker is paired to my smartphone it acts as a speakerphone and the sound is very good. There are two buttons on the speaker, onoff and Bluetooth. When the speaker is first turned on it tells you how full the battery charge is and what devices it is connected to. It remembers the last two devices it is paired to and you can clear devices and keep them in memory for next time. With the amazing sound quality and compact size, I use this speaker daily and in many different places. Definitely recommend this little speaker for its great sound quality and portability.

Theres a lot of Bluetooth speakers out there that are much less expensive. But none of them sound as good, look as good, or attach as securely to your backpack, etc…as this Bose.Great for hikes attaches to numerous places on the average backpack. Its water resistant and the battery lasts about six hours, The bass is pretty impressive. You can also simply set it on its back on a coffee table, and the bass bounces off the surface and creates a nice crisp, clear sound.Just get it on sale for 69 once in a while it goes that low and its definitely worth that much.

I was in the market for a portable speaker that will fit a few different criteria. I wanted something that was small and portable, I wanted something durable and waterproof, and of course I didnt want to loose sound quality to obtain those features. So of course I looked to my favorite audio company and found this speaker. I received this item as a gift from my mom for Christmas after I specially requested it and I could not be more happy with it. It lives up to all the high hopes I had when looking for this item and it surpasses in a few ways. I love the strap that it has which makes it a breeze when I want to take it on my bike rides. I also love the size When looking for speakers I wanted something that was not too small that I would loose it but also still keeping a small size to make the portability super simple and this speaker is just that. This is not my first Bose product so I am already familiar with syncing it to my devises but it is a super simple process and the Bose app makes it an even easier process I am obsessed with this speaker and I would highly recommend to anyone in the market for a speaker. I use this speaker almost daily between using it to play music at my place, on bike rides, at the beach, you name it this speaker is perfect for the occasion

I bought this speaker for our new boat. The permanent speakers installed are inside a cupboard on the command bridge and you only get muffled sound even with the cupboard doors open. Sine its 39 we cant just dive it to bestbuy to get new ones installed so we were looking for a portable option. We tried the revolve but I was worried about it sitting up there with the rocking and bouncing of the boat. These were perfect as we can snap the strap around the railing. I would have liked if they would have designed a loop in the speaker for a carabiner and added security but it is what it is and we just hope the little silicone strap is as reliable as promised.I like the fact that something so small has relatively good sound. We bought 2 so we can put one on each side of the bridge in either party or stereo mode. I wish the battery life was longer than 6 hours as that flies by when you are on the water, but by then we should be docked and stationary so we can use the revolve. We went for the renewed version since it has the same sound and warranty, and we werent concerned about packaging. This was ideal for our situation

We all have come across multiple small portable speakers and am sure everyone owns a few of them. Bose soundlink micro is a small portable speaker but with a difference excellent sound. The packaging itself is as simple as it gets. The box includes speaker and a micro usb charging cable. The chaging indicator has 5 leds that turn solid when the speaker is fully charged and lasts around 6 hours of playtime. The speaker has a builtin strap that works really well when attaching to a bag or to a bike handlebar. It is really good quality that seems will last. The top has 3 buttons dedicated volume up, volume down and a multifunction button that changes function based on what you are using the speaker for. WHile playing music it can be used to skip forward or go back and in call mode it can be used to answer calls. The side of the speaker has the bluetooth pairing button as well as the power onoff button. The speaker itself is rated at IPX7 waterproof and works well. The sound has excellent base that does not fade at high volume. The audio quality is crisp and makes this speaker a no brainer. This little bose speaker has raised the bar for all micro speakers.

I have had several Bose products and recently picked up the SoundLink Micro. I had been researching it since it came to the market. I was going on vacation for spring break with the family and knew we would be doing some hiking, so I used this as my excuse to buy one. I was not disappointed. The little speaker has wonderful sound. We were all surprised by the sound quality and attainable volume in the outdoors. It is a really small speaker for the sound that it generates. The battery life is good. The only thing that seems to be a weakness for Bose allaround is Bluetooth range. I dont know the science behind it, but all of my Bose products seem to have a shorter Bluetooth range that most other products. I think it is less noticeable with this speaker. In any event this is a minor issue. Functionality is great. I used it with my iPhone, and in all practical situations it worked perfectly. Overall, I rate the experience with the SoundLink Micro speaker as excellent, and I highly recommend it.

Bose soundlink microThe first thing I noticed when I opened the box, other than how great the packaging is, is the feel of the Bose SoundLink Micro Bluetooth Speaker. The build is solid, the silicone skin just feels good in your hand and the weight is surprising for how small this speaker is. Like my other SoundLink speakers, the battery needed charged right out of the box. The battery life is rated at six hours. I played the speaking throughout the weekend on one charge. It comes with a USB cable but no charger, which shouldnt be a problem as most have several laying around from other devices. There is no NFC pairing but the speaker paired with everything I threw at it with ease. The most important issue, how does it sound AMAZING This little speaker kicks out some roomfilling volume with a clarity and fullness that is definitely Bose. The sound coming from this little speaker is so immersive and full, stereo sound is a nonissue. Once again you wonder how so much bass is possible from such a small speakerThere is an app for this speaker, Bose Connect but its pretty lackluster, only offering volume and connectivity options, oh and you can use it to rename the device and select the voice language. Im convinced the attitude at Bose is we know how your music is supposed to sound and youre going to like it. I would have like to have seen the app allow some sound adjustment for the speaker, similar to the Sony app that lets you adjust the Extra Bass and add sound profiles. The app also allows you to pair two speakers together for Party Mode or left and right channels. I paired the SoundLind Micro and a SoundLink Revolve. This also allowed me to compare the sound of the two speakers. I have to say other than the directional difference between the revolves 360 design and the Micros direct facing, the sound is clearly Bose and almost identical between the two.I found the Party Mode to have a bit of an echo between the two speakers, which may be the way it is intended. The stereo mode worked flawlessly, even with the mismatched devices. A nice touch or reason to grab a second speakerThere are three buttons volume up and down and multipurpose on the top of the speaker and power, Bluetooth link and the mini usb power jack on the top edge. The multipurpose button is used to pause, select next track or go back, by pressing once, twice or three times in succession, similar to the button on iPod headphones. As the other Bose Bluetooth speakers, the Micro also acts as a speaker phone if you have it paired with your phone. The microphone was clear, the person on the other end of the call was able to hear the conversation with out issue.Aside from the amazing sound, the defining feature of the Bose SoundLink Micro is that its not just water resistant but water proof, and Yes, I had to try this out. I dumped the Micro in a bowl of water and it kept on playing, unbothered by its new surroundings. I pulled it out of its batch, shook the excess water off, towel dried it and its good as new.The silicone strap on the bottom of the unit is quite strong and holds the speaker to the handle bar of my mountain bike with no problem, keeping the speaker upright and stable enough to push the volume buttons. Conclusion Get two This is the best sounding speaker of its size Ive heard.

Had this speaker for 1 week. The sound is awesome. The Good Made a handful of conference calls using this and speaker quality is better than most my conference headsets. Sound is loud enough for being outdoors by the pool and sound quality is great for its sizeThe Bad The strap is the worst strap Ive seen, especially for securing such an expensive item. The hook secures using only millimeters of a hook and eye type closure and the hook does not wrap deep enough to actually secure a bra hook holds more tightly than this speaker. The strap can stretch only enough to connect to a paper thin attachment definitely not a bike like shown. Trust me I tried several ways and ended up using a bungee cord in addition to the strap to secure this to my bike. Needless to say it didnt work, speaker detached from the bike, and Im down my Bose speaker.Giving 4.5 stars for sound quality and 2 stars for design, especially since the produce is marketed for attaching to things. Bose Market accurately or improve your design

Whats in the BoxBose SoundLink Micro Bluetooth SpeakerUSB cableOwners manualWhats the CostAbout 110 at the time of reviewHow does it lookit is small to fit in your palm and that is the intend. it comes with a nice rubberized strap which can be used to either strap it your backpack or bike or even your palm it looks sturdy. it is IPX7 rated. i am not too much worried about dropping it in water or toilet but IPX7 also means that it is waterproof and well built which is more important for meIt is also made of silicon rubber exterior and feels nice in hand. in addition to feeling nice, it also means that when you drop it, you dont have to worry about denting it.How does it connectit connects via bluetooth to any bluetooth capable device. I used my phone to test it out. i connected to my Alexa echo dot to this speaker and it connects seamlessly and plays my amazon music. it is rated at 6 hours of battery, i did not get a chance to fully test it yet.How does it soundi have two other bluetooth speakers at home. i have the bose soundlink mini and i also have a TDK life on record TREK 360. One thing about bose is that you can clearly hear all the instruments used and with great amount of clarity, be it the bose mini or the bose micro.I have to tell you that i am comparing apples to oranges here and i did this on purpose. I wanted to check how goodbad the speaker sounded when compared to bigger speakers. I am happy to say that i am pleasantly surprised to hear the music play on this one. it does really sounds larger than it looks. It is physically small in size which also means that the bass response will not be as good as a bigger speaker and that is expected.Should i buy itIf you are on the go or you live in a dorm and need a small speaker and dont want headphones on all the time when you are listening to music or movies, this is a good buy. The Competion for this speaker would be the JBL Flip 2 or the UE wonderboom or roll 2.you are only a few dollars here and there, get the bose, you will be happy

I was so happy with my Soundlink Micro that i purchased them for family Christmas presents this year. They speaker is so portable, versatile and sounds awesome Easy to use too. I bought covers for them so they stand up.What I am no happy about is that I purchased FOUR of them in July and a couple weeks later they were 20 off. While, i did purchase yet another one at the sale price, I was initially annoyed to see that sale email come through. Such is life.

I am quite impressed with this Bose micro speaker. It is very easy to set up just push the Bluetooth button on it and pair it on your device. The speaker will get pretty loud at max level but you will start to hear the bass disappear and a small bit of distortion, especially depending on what type of music you want to listen to. This does best with music like rock, country, alternative or anything that isnt overly bass heavy. The overall clarity is amazing for such a small speaker setup. This speaker definitely works best in smaller rooms or small outdoor spaces. I tried using it at work in large open areas and the sound was largely diminished. It sounds the best sitting on a flat surface, as the radiator is on the bottom and needs to bounce off a surface. It does have a strap on the back you can use to attach it to some things but there is not much slack and it is not adjustable. The size is perfect. Its able to fit in my back and side pockets snugly. I would compare it to a thick wallet. Id imagine you can use the strap on the back to put around your belt and carry around that way as well. The sound quality playing through the pocket is awesome as well. I had it in my pocket while playing and got into my car and it sounded like it was coming from the car speakers. When powering on, a woman voice will tell you how much battery life is left and what device you are connected to. The front face has volume buttons on it and has a button in between the volume to playpause and holding down the same button will open google voice search on my Android phone. There is a built in microphone and can be used as a speakerphone during phone calls. I was told the microphone had a good clarity level when using it during a call.It has a rechargeable battery, and a 4 light indicator to show how much is left. I was able to have this speaker on full volume for just over 3 hours before the battery got too low to use. You can play and charge at the same time and it does auto power off after about 20 minutes of inactivity. The speaker comes with a charging cord Full USB to I believe MiniUSB but does not come with the wall plug for some reason. You can use a phone charger if it has the right end on it, but I ran into a situation where it did not like one of my charging cables, but worked fine with the provided cable. Not a huge issue. It does have a companion app you can download which is very basic. You can use it to auto pair your device with the speaker, control the volume, and also use basic music playlist controls. The neat part is you can activate party mode when two of these speakers are connected and will play in stereo when you put each one on different sides of the room. That is the only function I have not tried.Overall this speaker sounds amazing for its size, as you would expect from a Bose product. I am only giving it 4 stars though for its lack of a wall plug. Would definitely recommend.

These speakers are perfect for both as a starter speaker and portable speaker. The fact that it is water resistant, tear resistant, and resilient to drops makes this a very sturdy speaker. I wouldnt be too worried about all of the outdoors activities I may be doing with it.As a basic audio review, its very solid. The bass is there and the sound is rather crisp. I was able to increase the volume quite a bit and it filled any small area easily. The two main draw backs are its lack of a 3.5mm port and that there is a multi function key. The lack of 3.5mm is more of a convenience and flexibility thing, as any device that has bluetooth not availablebroken, can not be used with it. And as for the multi function key, I would have rather preferred separate keys for different functions. At a 100 price, this is an absolute win.

I have the new Kindle Fire 8 HD and the new Kindle Fire 10 and the Bose micro speaker works fine with both devices. In fact it will work with any device that is bluetooth ready. Make sure your wifi is turned on AND make sure you download from ITunes or Play store their Bose Connect App. Open the App, following the prompts to connect your speaker to your bluetooth enabled device. Then enjoy. I took this little guy with me on AMTRAK and it made live in my sleeping car roomette, so much more enjoyable. Also, cranked up the volume in my hotel room in New Orleans. I use it every weekend when listening to my playlists off my Kindle devices. I think I want to purchase a second one so I can pair them and have either a stereo sound, or party mode, which will give you a bigger sound,. Remember, this is a MICRO speaker, it is intended to bring the music out of your phone and edevices and give them great sound. IT IS NOT a Disco speaker. So dont expect disco sound. For that, purchase a bigger speaker or a Wave system. This is meant to travel with where you wouldnt want to carry a big speaker in your hand, yet give you sound better then your devices speakers and giving you the ability to take off your headphones and enjoy the world without things in your ears. I love my micro speaker. I just wish it came in RED and that they would make it with an adopter to use with devices that are not bluetooth enabled. Also, I wish they would make a carrying case for it. Other than that, I am totally satisfied with my Bose Micro Speaker.

If I could, I would give this speaker a rating of 4.5 out of 5 but I rounded up. I purchased the orange speaker for my wife last year and picked up the blue version for myself a couple of months ago. I wanted something that I could stereo pair with hers and I already knew what I was getting into.First off, I will go over the positives that Bose did with this speaker. It is extremely portable and I like the rubber strap on the back. I use it all the time to mount the speaker under umbrellas at the beach, on chairs by the pool, and even in the bathroom on stands so I can listen to music while showering. The speaker fits in my hand and is small enough to throw in any bag or backpack for trips. The rubber strap is durable and Bose added a rubberlike coatingcover over the speaker making it drop resistant and waterproof up to about 3.5ft. I have dropped our orange speaker in the pool, at the beach on sand, and in the ocean. It has survived and I usually wash it off once a month using tap water under a low flowing tap. I dont have any hesitations taking the speaker with me everywhere.Due to the speakers size, you would expect the sound quality to be awful. Im not sure what Bose has done but the audio quality from this speaker is great, especially for its size. There is a fair amount of lows and highs being pumped out by this speaker. The mids are recessed, as usual, but this speaker has a fun and typical of Bose sound signature. Other, larger speakers are going to get louder and have more bass output, they may also cost less. With this speaker, you are paying Bose for a small, rugged design that has higher sound quality than any other speaker in this size. Competing speakers from Sony and JBL dont remotely close to the same sound quality as what Bose has done here. It really is a remarkable speaker for its size and pairing two together makes it even more immersive. The front controls are easy to operate and I use Siri a lot with this speaker. Hold the middle button for a few seconds, youll hear the Siri chime sound, and give your commands. If my phone is near my Ill just use the Hey Siri command. Either way, Siri always understands me with the microphone in the SoundLink Micro and doesnt have any issues dictating a text or understanding music playback commands. There are a couple of things Bose could have done to improve the overall experience with this speaker. First, they could have went with USBC for charging instead of micro USB. Its a small complaint but I have a Lightning cable for my phone, USBC cable for my iPad, the same USBC cable for my headphones, and now micro USB for the speaker. Its one more cable I have to worry about carrying when I could have just used the same cable and charger for my iPad and headphones. Second, its the battery life. 6 hours is abysmal. Other speakers in this price category are rated for 10 hours of use, even speakers in the same size range are rated for 910 hours of use. I get that Bose is using larger, higher quality drivers that consume more energy but it would have been nice had they been able to get at least 8 hours of use on a single charge. I always have a charging pack on me so its not the end of the world but it still isnt ideal. Lastly, Boses app is pretty lacking. It makes things easy for pairing two speakers together but I would like more functionality such as being able to customize an EQ.I think the drawbacks are small compared to what this speaker does well. Thats why I would have really given it a score of 4.5 out of 5 but I rounded up. The sound quality, ruggedness, and extreme portability outweigh the use of micro USB and the short battery life. Seriously, the bass level for a speaker this size is extremely surprising.I highly recommend this speaker for anyone who wants the best audio quality they can get in a small speaker that they can take anywhere.

I bought the Bose SoundLink Micro to replace a JBL Clip 3. The JBL sounded a bit muffled like an old radio songs you know will sound different than what you are used to, whereas the Bose has a great sound quality. The bass makes a huge difference, which is something that gets lost in the JBL. The only issue of the Bose is the strap, which comes off too easily. Considering I use this speaker when I bike, the strap is potentially an issue. No drops so far. Other than the strap, the speaker is perfect in terms of sound and size.

This little bluetooth speaker is Boses typical excellent standard. Well designed and amazing sound quality for such a small size, I was impressed. Other reviews have complained that it wasnt very loud but the great thing about bluetooth is that you have the variable options of the volume controls on both the device and the speaker itself. When connected to my Sony MP3 player, the sound easily fills a large room. I guess on full whack it would be pretty loud. Great quality.

This speaker looks small, but wow Two speakers, a Treble and a Bass. Amazing clarity for such a small speaker, the bass could be better but considering the size, it performs amazingly well.Connecting to the speaker was extremely easy. Download the app and it walks you through the process. Auot shut off after your set time, brilliant idea. No more unexpected dead battery. And run time, Bose claims about 8 hours I had mine blasting for an hour and only lost about 8 percent so they may be understating it.The strap on it feels a bit flimsy, but I couldnt accidently undo it. The clip that holds it in place is really well designed and I doubt you will ever lose it.I also love the fact it is waterproof. Means I can use it all weather conditions. I strapped mine to the side of my boat and it survived sea water and rain showers no problems.I love mine so much, I purchased a second one as a gift.

Purchased this speaker to make my phone alarm louder. Bose has always made quality products and this speaker does not disappoint. Purchased online w drive up pick up. Order ready within advised time. Speaker had some juice when purchased so I could try it right away. Easy to connect to phone. Sound quality was rich and crisp. Man, was my alarm way louder at only 50 volume. Been using this speaker for a couple hours for the last 5 days and I havent had to charge yet. Im proud of myself for making this purchase

Years ago, I received a small Vizio Bluetooth speaker as a gift. It has lasted well mechanically, but the sound quality was always subpar. When looking for an upgrade, I decided to give the Bose SoundLink a try. I am glad I did The sound quality lives up to the Bose name. It wont give you the same results as a full Bose sound system, but the quality is better than any of the other small speakers Ive heard. It linked with my smartphone easily. The controls are intuitive to figure out. I have not used this device when being active, but I have brought it from room to room, indoorsoutdoors, and it works well for that purpose. The reason I took one star off is because the devices charge dissipates quicker than I would like. It did not last me the 6 hours on the products claim, and I was only listening on about 50 volume. If you do not mind frequent charges, this could be a great speaker. Ill definitely get good use out of it.

To be honest i wanted to give this small size speaker a 4 star rating. I also own harmankardon onyx studio 4 and been using both for over an year. Both has its advantages both are good. The hk is big in size and cant carry in my bag pack coz it occupy lot of space. Bose is my go to speaker for outgoing activities. This tiny speaker punches lot of sound and its unbelievable. Definitely recommend for someone who camps a lot or any outdoor seating.

I recently obtained the Bose Micro Bluetooth Speaker. Ive had a few weeks to spend with the speaker and I must say it is a must have speaker for those on the go or who need quality in a small form factor. Upon receiving the speaker I immediately charged it up and I began to sample a few genres of music. Amazingly this tiny speaker has a pretty good bais response. I played everything from RB, HipHop, Jazz, Classical, Soft Rock, Reggae, House and Electronica. It definately shines better in some areas vs others but if you play with the EQ on you connected devices, you should be able to obtain the desired sound. Ive used the speaker with my phone, laptop, and Apple TV. It also sounded good for TV as well. To test out some of the water resistance, I set the speaker up while in the shower and the moisture didnt harm it at all. I havent gotten the chance to completely submerge the speaker. Ive also used the speaker while out in the backyard relaxing and the sound was just right even though the space was much more open vs being inside the house in a room. Last but not least, I was lucky enough to obtain two of these micro speakers and via the Bose Connect app, I was able to connect the two speaker via Bluetooth simultaneously or as a stereo set up. It was twice the fun with both speakers and the connecting was seamless. My only gripe about the speaker is that although the speaker is pretty rugged, Bose didnt include a carry case for travel.

I am a Bose fan so when this little bit arrived on scene I couldnt resist. That being said, Im also very critical of my audio equipment so I dont write reviews lightly. I research everything I buy and appreciate honest reviews so I do my best to contribute as well.Ive been using this speaker around the house with Netflix and podcasts and its been great. Lovely sound, portable, easy to use. I decided to hook it to my Harley during a long ride today, pretty much expecting it to be too soft to hear over my engine. I have stock pipes so the engine is loud, but not obnoxiously so. Anyway, first thing I noticed was the speaker didnt budge an inch once I used the silicone strap to hold it to my handlebars, even at 65 mph. I am happy to report I was able to hear my music even over the wind and engine noise. Some songs were hard to hear because of their low record volume, but most were just fine. Mind you, I couldnt hear all the finer points of the music, but I heard enough to make my ride even more fun. This little bit is definitely worth the money. My riding buddy was jealous and wants one too, so I may surprise her with an early Christmas gift.Highly recommended.

I bought this for my folding bike and for my desk job After several months, Im super impressed with the sound and quality It shipped to my house real fast and honestly my favorite speaker purchases.QualitySmooth and rubbery feeling. It doesnt slip in your hands. Its both waterproof and shatterproof. Great for riding or running through a rocky road, rain drizzle or a dusty environment. The back strap is a miracle and locks right in around a bike handlebar and doesnt move or shuffle around.SoundTested out with different genres from House to Hip Hop and the speakers did a fine job capturing the details of each instrument or a voices in a podcast or a audiobook. Really strong not overpowered bass. Clear mid ranges and Crisp sound all around.Battery lifeconnection Charging takes around 24 hours. Battery is alright but it lasted for 6 to 7 hours on low and middle volume and 4 to 6 hours on the loudest volume. I keep mines at the middle volume. Connection to my phone is real fast However theres a bug where it will automatically turn on randomly when your not using your phone. Creeped me out at first but its the only known flaw the Bose community and I noticed and I hope Bose fixes it. Overall this is a great speaker and one of the best mini speakers for everyday use.

Ive checked out many Bluetooth speakers. Ive noticed the ones with the best sound looked kind of fragile. With the Soundlink Micro, Bose has combined great sound with toughness. This thing is built like a tank. Heres why its perfect for your next camping tripIts rubberized skin will resist brusing. Since it will work being dunked in up to 3 feet of water, being left out in the rain or snow will not be a problem You can use the built in strap to hook it inside your showerFollowing the instructions I downloaded the Bose Connect app to my smartphone. It immediately found and connected to the speaker and downloaded a firmware update to it You can then use the app to teach tricks to the Micro. If you have two speakers with the app you can turn them into left and right stereo speakers or just connect as many of them as you have around your party area and have mono sound coming out of all of them. The internal battery which you charge with the included standard USB cord should last for at least 6 hours depending upon the volume. The sound is big, as youd expect from Bose. The main speaker faces front and a sub woofer faces the back. You can use it to answer your phone, I didnt try that feature however. The only negative, depending upon how you want to use the Micro is that it has NO jack for a mini phono cord, you MUST connect it via Bluetooth.Bottom line, its a tough tiny speaker It can clip anywhere and can hardly be seen with a big sound. Id recommend it especially for outside use where it doesnt have to be babied

I bought this for my wifes birthday as a shower speaker. Shes loving it. I use it as well and even while washing the cars. The sound quality is excellent with some very solid bass for such a small form factor, which Ive come to expect from Bose. The exterior coating feels solid and weve had some excellent battery life.ProsSizeQuality construction and soundEasytouse appConsCost I did get mine on saleI cant voice control AlexaA couple of suggestionsAdd an autooff feature if theres nothing playing for 15 minutes, weve left it on more than once. The current strap is great for what its designed for, but maybe add some clipon points for a shoulder strap or similar. You should be able to add more than 2 concurrent devices.Add the ability to prioritize connected devices in the app.Add 2way voice control ability.

I currently own two Bose Soundlink Mini speakers and was really excited to check out the Soundlink Micro because of its size and the fact that its waterproof. All I can say is that I am blown away by the sound that comes out of such a small speaker.I guess I shouldnt be that surprised given the quality Bose is known for, but in this small package, its impressive. The build quality is fantastic and its got a little bit of heft to it. Nice highs and midrange with decent bass. I found that if you point the speaker in the direction of a hard surface, from an inch or two away, that it ramps up the bass even more.Ive dunked this thing in water, strapped it onto my bike and went for a ride with it, and it even got dropped once already. Nothing stops it Also, I have to say that this is a great option for people who enjoy riding bikes. Now you can have music on the go and not have to use headphones which is dangerous and both people can enjoy.I dont have multiple speakers so I cant comment on the party feature that allows you to sync up multiple speakers to create a bigger system. I have to imagine it would sound pretty good and is a really cool feature to have available.Setup is easy and the battery gets you about 10hrs at full charge. The battery went from empty to full in about 2 hours. It also has a microphone so it can double as a speakerphone.Overall, if youre looking for a really good quality and great sounding bluetooth speaker that is waterdust proof at around 100…this is it, hands down. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this to anyone

The Bose Siundlink Micro is a great Bluetooth speaker for many reasons. First its Bose and sounds really great. Quite a bit of bass and very clear sound for its size. Hooking them up is easy and they have a good amount of volume. The great thing for me is that I can take them in the shower and not worry as theyre water resistant. Im loving the Bose so much I have 3.

I have purchased many of these for gifts.Great little speaker that gets fairly great sound quality. Bring it to the beach, pool, to the soccer field while training, yard work, get togethers, in my bag when we travel or I keep mine in the kitchen.I love mine. We have two others in the house. The kids and I use them continuallyIt pairs easily and is simple to operate. Holds a charge for quite awhile.Definitely recommend if this is in your budget.

Rather than settings, bluetooth, you install a Bose app. At first I did not like the idea because I am used to the settings, etc. But the android Bose app is good and intuitive and works well and has good options to configure the speaker such as whether to disconnect when no activity. Sound quality is very good for a speaker in that price range. It has a very solid rugged feel.

What a great sounding , portable, non skid , product. It very seldom leaves me and I am truly happy with it. Would I recommend it 100 yes. Also your curbside service on my pickup day was a true delight. The young man that took care of us, was really happy at his job and it showed. I had no cash on me otherwise he would have got a tip for sure. But you can praise him instead.Eleanor Smith.

I bought this on a whim for my boyfriends birthday and am glad I did. When I received it I was pleasantly surprised and can confidently deny most of the negative reviews here. The speaker is quite compact but the sound quality is amazing and range is very nice as well. It can be loud enough to be heard by a group of people but also discrete enough to not disturb others in public spaces. So far we have taken this on several walks with out dogs attached to a ski jacket and its done nothing but impress. We plan to use it hiking, biking, snowboarding and golfing and it most definitely seems fit for the job.Bonus the battery life is amazing

I bought this speaker in a desperate moment when my old bluetooth hands free calling device decided to give up the ghost early one morning. I needed to get a new device as soon as the store was open. I looked through the few they had in stock, and this one, although expensive, seemed like the best way to go. The sound quality is of course great, its Bose, the package is small and the battery lasts all day. It hooks up to 2 cell phones at once. The controls are straight forward and the body of the speaker is rubbery so it generally stays put. That leads me to the drawbacks. There is no visor clip to hang the speaker. The rubber strap on the back of the unit is to small to attach the unit on anything. I realize its made for backpack straps, but a little more give or adjustability would have made a big difference. As far as using it for calls, my end is great but people have had trouble hearing me in certain situations like on the highway at 75. Not a game ender but a little annoying. Overall I like the speaker. Im gonna work on fashioning a visor clip, or some type of gluing to the dash of the truck. Dont regret the purchase, just need to work out a few bugs. But good speaker.

Having previous purchasing a relatively cheap Bluetooth speaker, I was looking at something with a little more punch to it. After looking round, I thought the Bose SoundLink would be a good addition to my Bose SoundTouch collection. On receiving the package, I was impressed with the design of the package, and the overall weight of such a small speaker. As I held just the speaker in my hand, I was pleased with weight and feel of the product and was amazed at the build quality of such small speaker. Bose have raised the bar in the portable speaker build quality.I decided to use the speaker as my primary speaker in place of my Soundtouch 10, and I was blown away, with depth of base and high trebles this little speaker can produce.Love how this one speaker can compete with a product such as the Soundtouch 10, in feeling a room with sound. Having listened to everything from audiobooks to classical to dance music this speakers works across the rangeMy only real criticism is having to have a separate app in order to connect to the speaker, and to add insult to injury it is a different app compared to the Soundtouch. Either combine the apps, or make it possible to connect without the app.I love this product, and would strongly recommend this for anyone who is in the market for a portable speaker.

This tiny speaker sounds incredible I purchased two of them and pair them in stereo. I use these outside on the deck, but they are great for vacation, work well around swimming pools, beaches, and fit perfectly under canopies and large umbrellas. The battery life lasts for hours, but for all day events, I run outdoor extension cords.

Full disclosure, first time I heard it I immediately regretted my decision and thought about never buying Bose again. It was way too punchy and bass heavy. It sounded like it was shoved in a sock drawer and everything seemed muffled. 5 minutes later, I was in complete shock at the fullbodied sound. Think it has to do with psychoacoustics and how they develop their products based on how our brains perceive sound. Its not a play at max volume speaker because it will lose sound quality and start to distort. But it is incredible for low to med volume. Id buy another without thinking twice.

Love these tiny but powerful portable speakers I bought 2 for stereo effect. They are easy to set up with Bluetoothphone. The speakers hold a charge well. They are good for up to 6 hours at full charge. Great for everyday as well as for party and backyard events. You cannot go wrong with Bose. So glad I found them. I bought the black. I would have preferred white, but theyre not available in white. Thank you, Nordstrom, for offering this item. As a Nordstrom shopper, I found them online and nabbed them while they are available. Great quality with Bose distinction

I have Echo Dots in the house and wanted something similar for outdoors. This is about the same size and the music quality is a bit better so it works fine for that. The battery life, sound quality and volume is what I would expect for a speaker at this price range. The unexpected use is listening to the music on the iPhone when Im using my pickup that only has a CD player. Im not just stuck listening to the radio or carrying CDs aroundMy only concern is that the strap looks a bit fragile but I havent tried using it so maybe it will be fine.

I bought the SoundLink micro speaker for my husband who rides road and mountain bikes so that he could attach it to his handlebars when riding. This was a great alternative to ear buds as you want to be able to hear surrounding noises. He absolutely loves it It has great sound, volume, is easy to connect to his phone and is waterproof. And, he loves its portability. This was a great buy for the price.

I bought the Bose Micro for my husband and am writing this review on his behalf. Works well inside the house and out. He has used it on his bicycle, no issues, works well and sound is clear with a good volume while riding his bike. He was even concerned about invading others sound environment. There seems to be an issue with volume adjustments. He has the Bose App downloaded, wonders if that is part of the problem. The speaker does not communicate with the phone as well as the sound is slow to adjust when turning up or down. ie When he adjusts his phone volume, using his cellphone up andor down, the Bose SoundLink does nothing and his phone is connected.

Ive had one of these speakers for a while. I had the opportunity to try a second to allow me to pair them up and listen to music in stereo. Being wireless you can separate them as much or as little as you like as long as they are within 30 probably a bit more of your smart bluetooth device that is your music source. Initial setup is a bit complicated, but the Bose Connect App easily walks you through it and I had no problems despite being tech challenged at times. So then I wanted to hear how they sounded and how well the stereo separation worked. So I started with what I knew was a good source. The song Barbarian from the first Emerson, Lake Palmer album. Anybody familiar with that album andor song know about the stereo separation. I set them up about 8 from each other and stood back 810. Wow separation was great, sound was great and I was in a good sized Master Bedroom. I did not turn the volume up the whole was as it was getting too loud, but as loud as I turned it up, no distortion. The sound and separation was so good that for anybody other than a fanatic audiophile, this is all the music set up you need to listen to your favorite in a good sized room. Being January in the Chicago area, I havent tested this out outside yet, but from listening to the one speaker outside Im sure this will be adequate for anything other than the largest parties. A smartphone, these two speakers in a decent sized room and you can have entertainment anywhere. I have yet to run down the battery, but its evident it will run for hours and hours. And recharge time is less than two hours. These are going with me anywhere I go and offer compact, yet wonder sound and great stereo separation. Strongly recommend this reasonably priced product

This bluetooth speaker from Bose boasts impressive volume from such a small unit, very capable of playing over crowd or background noise, and has the capability of connecting to other SoundLink Micros to offer a multispeaker environment. Though, the numerous speaker set up seems unnecessary from my experiences with it. The speaker is able to produce a decent quality sound with more than enough volume to make itself heard in a crowd. The sound quality is comparable to other bluetooth speakers of a similar and even slightly larger size, good but not great. With that being said, for the settings youll use it, the sound quality is more than good enoughProsCompact and lightweightDurableEasy setupAbility to pair with other Bose SoundLink MicrosWaterproofElastic strap to clip your speaker to a bike, backpack, or shower curtain rodConsElastic strap is not able to be used as a stand as well makes sense as it is elasticPrice per unit, one is sufficient for most things its designed for but the ability to connect multiple to one device for a multispeaker setup can be more costly than a larger bluetooth speakerI would highly recommend for smaller outdoor gatherings for some background music, cookouts, using on group bike rides, and for music in the shower. Very nice and durable little device

This is one mighty little Bluetooth speaker. Its performance makes a lie of its small size. The clarity of sound at high volume is amazing. It fills a large room with sound. Well worth getting a second one, as I did. You then have great volume for party performance, or you can very easily set up speakers to play in stereo mode. Bose make great quality speakers and this little bundle of dynamite is no exception. Its pricing is quite reasonable for its performance but there are plenty of bargains to be found out there to really make it great choice. Only thing that would have improved it would be a base that allowed it to stand independently. Some offset is its portability and the strap to allow it to be attached to things, like the handle bars of a bike. It is also a very solid and rugged speaker and waterproof to boot. If you are after a small speaker with big speaker performance this is a top option.

We own many Bose products in our home including headphones, home theatre and WiFi speakers. All of them are great, but this little Bose Micro is our favorite Bose release in years Seriously, you MUST take one home with you. It just excels at everything it is made to do.SOUND Every frequency is well represented. I can hear every detail of every song. It is uncanny for a speaker of this size. The bass also gives a nice punch that sounds very pleasing. We own another similarly sized speaker from another brand that we thought sounded good for its small form factor. This little Bose leaves the other brand in the dust. The sound is just so rich and warm that it exudes quality. The only negative to the sound is that the signature changes when the speaker is played at or above about 95 volume. Most noticeably the bass decreases. Even so, it still sounds much better than our other speaker with a clip.RUGGEDNESS This Micro is rugged The only thing that you need to know is that my two boys were so intrigued that the Micro is shock resistant and water proof that they took turns dropping the speaker on the floor. Normally I would be horrified, but the speaker seems to be made for this kind of abuse. My boys also took turns running water on the speaker under the faucet at the kitchen sink. They were intrigued with how water splashes out of the Micro as the bass kicked in on the song they were playing. Needless to say, the speaker is going to holdup just fine in everyday use.PORTABILITY The size is small enough to wear and the speaker feels great in the hand. The silicon strap allows you to secure it just about anywhere. Also, the speaker is shaped such that you actually can just set it just about anywhere. While our Bose Revolve needs a flat surface to stay upright, the Micro has a very low center of gravity. It stays where you put it despite an uneven surface or incline. AwesomeThe only problem with the Bose Micro is that now everyone in our house wants one. This unit is going to my older son to use as he juggles school, sports practices and church youth activities. For everyone else, I imagine that the Bose Micro will be tops on their Christmas list. I know it will be on mine

Clarity is excellent, actually has some bass fill as well. battery life is excellent, at medium volume i havent yet ran I continuously without charging so I cant say how long exactly but I have used it for over 3 hours constantly once and from a full charge, roughly 40 still remained , I charge it whenever i get the chance to keep full and ready. Ill update if and when I am able to run it from full to empty. I can definitely say that I am thoroughly pleased with the battery life this far. Connecting is easy, I havent had any issues connecting to any of our phones, laptops etc as of yet. We really enjoy the sound quality, it actually was a pleasant surprise. I know its a Bose but I still had reasonable expectations as the speaker is so small. It was mainly to have a compact option when we needed or wanted louder than stock speaker sounds. This speaker is way more than just that Its actually a lot clearer and can play at near the loudness vs a lot bigger and more pricey Jongo that we have which before we got this was our best wireless speaker. It was just too big for a lot of situations tho which is why we got this and this one immediately became our favorite Actually this is a second one ordered because we like it so much That way we dont haveto fight over who gets the Bose. There are more inexpensive options in similar size with good reviews but havent really tried others and probably never will as long as these are still kicking. Bought the 4 year warranty so dont have to worry about anything for 4 years. Overall as of now, easy 5 stars. Granted we only used it for a few weeks. If any negatives arise I will update this review. Great sound , volume and bass surpasses expectations for this size Battery life excellent thus far. Talks to you and has led lights to show battery life. Compact and easy to transport and use. Impressive and lives up to the Bose name. Excited to have another on the way. Cool color options to boot Wonder if two can be used at the same time That be even double the ear candy Ill have to look into that. Ok where is it, time to listen to so relaxing music.

I have 2 of these and have them paired in stereo mode, the packaging they come in is typical Bose, high quality and very clear. Opening the box you are presented with the speaker on top and underneath you have your micro usb charging cable and booklets. The speaker is small in size and has a black rubberised coating in a Matte finish to prevent fingerprints. Build quality is first class and it feels very compact and dense. Switching it on for the first time puts it in to pairing mode straight away, I downloaded the Bose app on my iPhone X and Android device and pairing was easy and quick. There was a update waiting straight away which I downloaded to the speaker.Once paired I tested out the speaker with some music and for such a small speaker it sounds great, I have 2 of these and put them in party mode and placed them either side of means wow. Music had good bass which doesnt over power and vocals are very clear. The speaker is waterproof and has a tear resistant strap on the back which you can use to attach the speaker to a bag or rucksack if you go hiking. Battery life is around 6hrs on a single charge, performance is faultless and delivers excellent sound quality for the price and size. I highly recommend soundlink micro especially in party mode and if you have a very active outdoors lifestyle.

I bought this item to have good quality portable music this summer, and it does not disappoint. Sound quality is fantastic. As are all my Bose speakers. But I did not expect its durability I had it latched to my kayak just by the strap, which doesnt look like much. But my kayak was flipped upside down in class 5 rapids for over 30 minutes, and when it got pulled out this little guy was still in place and turned right on Had to stick it in a bowl of rice to drain some water, but good as newCouple weeks later, it got left on a truck bed and I had to chase it rolling down the highway on a hill. Its scratched and a little torn on the edge, but made no impact on sound.Battery life is great too, for the normal days. Highly recommend.

The Bose SoundLink Micro is a very pleasant surprise Though we obtained it for the family to use, I plan to get another one just for myself. Honestly, it is QUALITY audio from such a diminutive design that it is hard to resist. Here are some thoughts about our experience with Micro so far.First and foremost the sound I have a very expensive pair of headphones as my primary means of listening to music. When those headphones are not in use, I also have a very nice setup of loudspeakers in a couple of rooms in our home. I am picky about sound quality and I know every nuance of some of my favorite albums which I have listened to for years. Believe it or not, the SoundLink Micro actual competes At much lower volumes, of course, and only when the Micro is placed in close proximity yet, this little speaker puts out very rich and pleasing highquality music. The lows, mids and highs are all there and well represented. The sound is as detailed, dynamic and accurate as a little speaker possibly could put out. When compared to other bluetooth speakers we own, I like the Micro somewhat better more accurate than our Bose SoundLink Mini II. The bass is also tighter on the Micro when compared to the MIni. The Mini has bass that punches deaper but it tends to drown out the highs. The Micro does not have that problem. I also like the Micro much better than our Bose SoundLink Color II. The Color is not nearly as dynamic though it plays louder. The only bluetooth speaker I like better is our Bose SoundLink Revolve which handedly tops the Micro in every area. That is, every area except for ruggedness and portability.Speaking of portability, that is another aspect that makes the SoundLink Micro standout. It fits so perfectly in the hand. There is a nice weight to it that feels right. Also, the silicon outer shell has a quality feel to it. It does not quit feel rubbery in a cheap way. It reminds me more of the fluoroelastomer sports band that came with my wifes smart watch. It just feels right. The back strap has the same quality feel. The strap secures firmly in place and seems durable enough to last for years. Though the speaker is small enough to fit in my pocket, I probably would rather use the strap to attach the speaker to a bag or belt. My son likes to strap it to his trumpet case when he goes to band practice see photo. The speaker is both water proof and shock resistant which just adds to its portability. The small size and rugged take anywhere aspect of the Micro is what really sets it apart from every other speaker we own.Bose claims that the battery will last up to six hours. Honestly, I have not kept track of how long we use the speaker before needing to charge it. I do know that our experience with Bose with our older speakers is that they tend to under promise and over deliver on their battery claims. I fully expect the Micro would last longer than six hours if played near 60 volume which is where I tend to keep it.As to features, the Bose Micro has plenty. The speaker doubles as a speaker phone with a dedicated button to answer phone calls. The same button also multitasks to pauseplay music, skip tracks and summon our devices voice assistant. The Bose Connect App is available to download to tweak the speakers autooff settings and to update the firmware when available. Bose says that the App also serves to link the Micro to other Bose bluetooth speakers. I have not tried this feature yet, but certainly will soon. How awesome to have two speakers playing stereo music on the goThe Bose SoundLink Micro is probably not be for everyone, but for most will be absolutely fantastic. It certainly sounds nice for its size. Actually, it just sounds great period. Great job Bose

I bought this to use outside by the pool, take hiking or for day trips. Having 3 toddlers grandsons require we pack a lot for them to go have fun. This speaker is light weight, attaches to our backpack or small enough to pack with boys stuff. And the sound is amazing. Has good base. Easy to use and pair with my devices. Love it

I am so pleased with the sound that this little unit produces Music plays with great clarity and a pleasing balance. It also produces an incredible level of volume for such a compact speaker. I never expect much of a really small speaker, but BOSE have somehow gone way beyond what you would think is possible at this size. The Micro will be perfect for so many situations. Im heading off on holiday soon it will fit into my hand luggage with ease, and provide great music for us at the beach or in the room. Brilliant. Its also perfect for working around the house. We have a flat over a couple of floors, so Im loving how easy it is to pick up and take with me no power cords required once charged as Im moving around the flat for various tasks. There is a little strap that can be attached to your belt, or bag if youre heading out…. Its dirt and waterproof too, so I dont need to worry about being precious with it. This speaker can handle just about any situation.I work in the dance world, and this will be so useful for my work as well. Gone are the days when I have to take a sizeable speaker with me. This little powerhouse will fill a small studio with sound, and will weigh basically nothing in my bag. I love itYou can also take calls whilst listening to music, with just a simple touch of a button. This was really useful recently when I was washing the floor and my hands were wetI can imagine lots of these under Christmas trees everywhere this year. BOSE has given new meaning to the phrase Good things come in small packages. I always expect a lot from BOSE products, and this speaker really delivers.

Of note I travel a lot and use this when on the road. I dont feel like my ipad has sufficient volume for use when getting ready in the morning or for use in hotel gyms, etc. In comes this little fellow. Very easy to pack and bring with you, puts out more than enough sound and very ease to pair with my ipad via bluetooth. It wasnt what I knew I needed until I got it and wonder why I did not come to that realization sooner. I did buy a carrying case for 10 to protect it in my backpack.

Ive been using this speaker for a couple weeks now. Ive used it with an iphone 6 and iphone 8. Out of the box, syncing was extremely straightforward. I did have to charge the device out of the box. Preferably, Id like for items to at least have a minimal charge so you can connect before charging, but its not a major issue. Once the device is paired, it is near instantaneous to connect to your device when you turn it on. It reminds me of the connection integration between apple and beats, which is a major positive considering apple has no affiliation with bose unlike beats.A nice option feature not sure if to credit apple or bose is that you can view the actual charge percentage on your iphone battery section. I appreciate the integration in that you can only gauge your battery so much with a 5 light meter, as is shown on the device.Overall, the sound quality is great. The music does damper a bit with heavy bass, but I dont see this as a negative since it is protecting the speaker. While the sound does damper, it doe not reduce the sound quality delivered.I only have a couple minor cons. The first is that there is no aux input. I understand that aux is slowly being phased out, but I would like to see it continue as an option for bluetooth speakers. Not only do they typically stay in one spot, using aux for friends is much easier than using party mode. The only other issue is that I noticed the sound distorts a bit if you stand the speaker up on a tablecounter with a back as opposed to laying it down. The sound quality diminishes quite a bit when doing this. It almost sounds a bit like the speaker is underwater. If you set the speaker down on a surface you wont experience this issue.Overall, this is a great speaker that I would recommend to anyone. I do think the price could be a bit better the JBL clip 2 is only 60, but you know you are getting a quality product with Bose.

Just received my Soundlink micro Bluetooth speaker in the mail today Took a minimum of three minutes to pair and set up and it sounds AMAZING This is our third Bose product that we own. Honorable mention of the Bose sound system that came with our SUV we purchased some years ago. Were convinced theres no other sound system that compares well. Chose the orange color so it would be easy to find and hard to lose because it wont blend in with other things while packing, traveling, etc. Love that its waterproof too. Added benefit is I caught the last day of the 20 off sale on it. Thank you Bose

I bought two of these to use in stereo mode on my recumbent bicycle after doing a whole heap of research and shopping around. When they work, theyre fantastic. The sound quality is awesome from such a small device. Base is surprisingly plentiful.Unfortunately, the App often freezes, fails to connect, drops connection or simply refuses to connect two speakers simultaneously. Furthermore, the mode of operation isnt saved so you have to pair both speaker EVERY TIME you want to use the stereo mode function. Not very user friendly. Im sure Bose can do better than this.Charging is also be an issue. This speaker is VERY picky where it accepts its charge from. AND, a charger ISNT supplied with the product. Comeon Bose Either have a device that will accept a charge from any USB device capable of providing a charge OR supply a charger and say only use supplied charger. Pick one and sort it outThe user shouldnt have to update the devices firmware to get it so simply accept a charge from something It still wont accept a charge from most of my USB chargers. Im now on tenterhooks waiting for the next time I cant use them. If my speakers run out of charge again and I cant charge them, youre getting them back regardless of how good they sound.I also have concerns about the longevity of the rubber strap used to secure the speaker in place. Only time will tell.I recommend this product if you simply want one to use on its own. Provided you can find something to charge it with.If youre looking to do similar to me, dont bother
