It would be nice if it came with a paper manual explaining some basic how tos. Some senior citizens need that, including me. My generation helped technical innovation take off. Help us now with the easy to understand printed manual. I ordered a pink one. I was offered an open box black iPad. I really wanted the pink iPad. So I chose to pay more to get a pink one. When I got home I discovered that the clerk handed me a box contains a black IPad. I was too exhausted to drive back to exchange it. I feel like I should a partial refund or gift card for part of the cost that I spent.

Got the iPad Pro 2020 12.9 and I am so happy I did Never bought an iOS device before as I have never been a fan of it but with iOS and iPadOS 13 it is finally a productive operating system for what I need.Have been wanting a new tablet for email and multimedia. Android is not really doing anything for tablets and the surface lineup is getting pretty stagnant. Biggest thing I wanted in a new tablet is a good screen with over 60hz support. Have a Surface Book and its screen looks like it is barely getting over 30hz for normal browser use. Having the 120hz screen on this iPad Pro is incredible Makes it so much better than anything else on the market.Do photography and a process called photoscanning for 3d application. The Lidar sensor on this device does not do the photoscanning I need but works great for accurately measuring things that I am scanning. If the iPhone 12 adds a Lidar Sensor and has a screen like this tablet I would leave Android for it.Biggest thing with this tablet is a keyboard. It just needs one. Is credit I have to give Microsoft for with the surface devices is they all work out of the box. The Go and Pro lineup do not have keyboards included but have a kickstand that makes the device usable. Had to wait a little bit for the case I ordered so the first few days with this device was awkward because it is a giant tablet that has no support for me to use. After I got received the Logitech SLIM FOLIO PRO I ordered though I really got to see this device shine. It was for the 3rd gen though so I had to cut out a larger camera hole to support the larger 4th gen camera bump. Worked great though.Hopping to see a 4th gen keyboard case with trackpad from Logitech soon. Will not get sucked into Apples ridiculous accessory pricing. 300 for a keyboard case Do not care if the tablet was actually levitating it would not be worth that much.Really though this is the best device I have used in a while and I am so happy about the purchase. Paired with a good keyboard, USB C Hub and mouse it can really replace a laptop. Especially if you can remotely control your desktop at home with something like Anydesk or Chrome Remote Desktop.

First apple device, so still learning how it works, seems to me too many hand gestures that are not fully explained. Also purchased the latest keyboard to go with it and the cover is like a dirt magnet. Even after wiping it off and setting it down then picking it up it feels dirty. Some of the directions for standard operating functions are wrong Also purchased the pencil. Some times I have to repeat numerous times touching the screen with it to make it work, some times it just doesnt work. Then have to complete the function with a finger touch. So dont know if this is equipment failure when this happens or am I supposed to know that the pencil doesnt always work. That is frustrating to say the least for a device that is supposed to be the latest and greatest. And then theres this pencil very loosely held on to the edge of the device with a magnet. Has fallen off twice while carrying it. No security there when not in use. Only a matter of time before it falls off and will be lost for good. I can see Apple will be selling a lot of replacements here. And where is the calculator that should be on the desk top At this time still not fully acclimated to the Apple device, format or operations of this device, so as I go along I assume there will be more problems and hurtles to over come. Apple should hire me and ppl. like me to road test these devices before passing them out to the public. So for as long as Apple has been in the business these problems should not even exist. What an over site. I am done for the moment on my opinion. Shure there will be more problems as I learn more about this device.

I got the IPad Pro with the magic keyboard it is basically a computer for all intents and purposes. Touch screen and I can run many apps I run on my Mac Book Pro on this app. I even used the Adobe Premiere Rush to edit movies on it. Super intuitive and integrates famously with my other apple products. Love how portable it is. A lot of graphic power in this bad boy. I didnt just buy one, I bought two for my gym. Now we have twice the power. If you can afford it and you travel or need mobility in your computing needs this takes the cake.

I wrestled for a long time whether to purchase a 12.9 or a smaller ipad. I finally purchased this one and could not be more pleased. I run my own company and am also working on an accounting degree through WGU. I do all of our bank reconciliations, payrolls, etc. and since I bought this, I do everything electronically and store it that way, as well. I no longer deal with much paper at all, so I am no longer buying notebooks, pens, etc. My work space is not cluttered any longer. If someone sends me something to fill out, I download it to my notes app and send it back so easily It is a bit heavier since it is bigger and I did buy the keyboard and protector. The apple pencil 2nd gen fits awesomely on the side and keeps charged so much better than the first generation. I am so glad that I purchased this…I do everything on it and save it to the cloud. I am never looking for any paper anymore. Since I took the time to learn the app and file correctly, it has changed my life. Each course I take has objective assessments and class notes that are saved in their own spot. I no longer have closets full of old notes. I will never go back to pen and paper Truly amazing Not to sound overdramatic, but this was transformational for me.

Love it Works great for school and its super fast, works even better paired with the apple pencil. Only downside is the magic key board is crazy expensive, but this tablet is amazing. Key features like opening side by side apps allows for for great easy note taking while watching lectures. The voice to text feature is probably the best its ever been. Makes writing papers super easy. Oh and if your into art theres an app called procreate thats amazing as well and cheap its like having a whole art studio for like 9 bucks. Bottom line here its totally worth the buy

Does the job well enough.I like how it magnetically attaches to the Magic keyboard, which also wraps around the iPad as a case. The two together are very convenient. The iPad has to be tugged from the magnets to release it, which is a good thing you dont want it falling off and is then in a convenient pad form for close work. But really, my wife and I havent found the need to detach it from the keyboard the two work well together.Better than a laptop Only you can judge whether a laptop offers better value, but if you want touchscreen and keyboard, you will find the combination keeps the touchscreen a little closer than a conventional laptop, so your armhandfingers are at a comfortable distance from the screen. We were surprised at the thought that has been designed into this important feature.

I am not usually an Apple fan. Ive always bought laptops not Mac and my phone is Samsung. However, I am in love with this iPad Pro and bought this instead of a new laptop. I got the magic keyboard with the track pad so this is my new go to for work and personal. The sound for the music is incredible too, much better than my laptop or other tablets. Facial recognition sold me, WOW, they got that above all the other competitors It also holds a charge for so long, and I like that my iPencil is always charged. No more having to toggle between charging 1st generatin pencil or previous iPad Pro.I also recommended this to my Mom who was looking to get a new laptop. I told her to go with this, she did, and she loves it too.

Upgraded to this iPad pro 12.9 in 256 gb from an iPad 9.7 6th gen 32 gb. I generally use this iPad for school, streaming, games, and as a second monitor. It runs much smoother and the extra screen space makes multitasking better. Split screen was such a pain before because everything was so small but now the extra screen space is so convenient not only for split screen but writingdrawing with the pen. Also, with school currently being held online, the extra storage space is a major plus. I can store downloaded lecture videos locally instead of taking up space in the iCloud. I also appreciate the size of the iPad. It is perfect, in terms of size, as a second monitor for work with my 13 in MacBook Pro. Allinall the iPad Pro 12.9 is an excellent product for me in terms of functionality. I have yet to run into any problems with this product.

I had an older Apple Ipad Air that I stopped using because it was so slow and you really couldnt do anything because waiting for it to connect and process what i wanted to do was severely slow. It actually became a paper weight. I swore the ipad off and was never going to use one again because I thought it was a terrible waste of time.I got tired of seeing my ipad laying around and decided to trade it in and get this new 12.9 Ipad pro. Now my mind has completely changed about the Ipad pro. I love that it is a lot faster and I can actually do something with it. LOVE ITI go to my ipad Pro more than I go to my laptop. I love the pen that you can get. It opens the door up for me to be more creative. I love this Ipad Pro and my Pen. Get one and see what i am talking about.By the way. I never do reviews but I had to do one on the Ipad pro because I really got excited about using it. LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

The person that helped me really did not know much about the new iPad.. i asked tell what is new and she said what do you want to know, I believe i said tell me what is new so i said everything please. She did not know what to say. Good thing i did my research be for i went there. I know that it is a hard time right now but let get real when you want to know what it new on the latest iPad the sales person should know that . I did buy it without her help. That is like i asked a salesperson about printers how i could decide the size of what Im printing and he said you have to get one of the pro printers and that is not correct i went into the settings and found where I could do it.. are you all just filling slots with who ever will work. So i say thank you to the young lady that tried to help me …

I bought this not really knowing what to expect, but now I cant ever put it down. Im able to do split screen on this and take notes while watching my professors online classes or while looking at slides, and with the size of the screen its like having 2 normal sized ipads side by side I dont even need to bring my normal laptop on campus anymore which reduces the weight of my backpack whic is HIGHLY appreciated Everything that works on my laptop works on this. I can work on my programming assignments, work on all my pearson classes, use matlab, and it even has software support for autocad. I can even take pdfs straight from my professors and work on them using Goodnotes so I dont even need to print any papers anymore. 100 paperless and its so much easier for me to study now

Firstly i must start with this is My first iPad, and first apple product since the iPhone 4s. Not a fanIm glad I waited, this is my dated PC replacement. Now the USB C port has finally been unlocked, making file transfers and expansion very simple and easy, getting pictures and videos from cameras and drones is fast.So after watching hundreds of online videos can this replace a laptop I thought, yes It can for my purpose.I am a hobbyist photographer and love making family videos. I can now edit in more comfortable positions and anywhere, dont need to wait for large video files to render and playback is smooth.I would say those typing long reviews, emails, assignments would possibly require a keyboard. Though the on screen keyboard is a perfect size.It also feels like I am picking the iPad up before i pick up my phone, maybe thats novelty again only time will tell,The ordering and shipment process was fantastic, regular updates, piece of mind etc all you would expect ordering from John LewisI gave value 3 because only time will tell, it is a big investment. So far so good

This replaced my iPad mini, and is much larger. Its too big to be a small tablet. Its bigger than it looks. Great alternative to a laptop. The dimensions are about the same as a small stack of papers. The large size makes it a little difficult to use the onscreen keyboard with one hand or two thumbs like you can with the mimi, but it is great for viewing video and having a larger viewing area overall for all apps.I was able to carry the mini around in one hand by palming it. Thats difficult with the pro 12, but the advantages to the increase in size outweigh the drawbacks. Its tablet size still makes it easy to carry in a bag or backpack, so its a great device to travel with.If you plan on using your iPad occasionally and primarily for internet surfing and social media with some travel, Id get a smaller model. If you are going to use it as a substitute for a laptop or get heavy use out of it with lots of video streaming, this is a great option. Sitting on my lap the screen is the perfect size maybe even a little too large. When setting it on a desk or table, I wouldnt want anything smaller.

Apple has crammed some crazy amount of tech into an extremely light tablet. As is typical with Apple, the screen is gorgeous, crisp, and highly responsive. I have the first model iPad Pro with the Pencil, and I can tell you this iPad with the Pencil version 2 is several times faster. Procreate, the drawing app, takes advantage of the new Pencil and the special chip in the iPad just for the Pencil, and drawing curves with pressure sensitive brushes is way easier than with my original iPad. This iPad has more ram than the 1 TB 2nd generation iPad Pro, so if you need big documents or large picture in something like Photoshop or Procreate, it is worth buying a new iPad.Everything on this iPad is faster compared to the first gen Pro. The camera is better, and the Lidar projector in the back is going to provide some interesting augmented reality apps when developers start using it. If you need to do 3D scanning, multiple of the mainstream scanning apps already integrate Lidar for better, more granular scanning. If you pair this with a Magic Keyboard like I did, you have a laptop replacement as long as the apps you use in Windows have iOS counterparts. Speaking of which, iOS now supports keyboards and mice natively, so it really is possible to write Word documents or calculate Excel spreadsheets on an iPad now.I bought this iPad Pro for drawing in Procreate and to have a light, fast, instanton laptop for Word and Excel. It also functions as a media player when I dont want to watch on a big screen or when Im travelling. I currently own 4 laptops and now 2 iPad Pros, and this is what I pick up to take with me when I leave the house. The only thing I dont like about it is the cost, but I do feel like Im getting sufficient value.

The thing that got me interested in this iPad Pro was the ability to use Sidecar with my MacBook Pro. With the Apple Pencil I thought it would be an improvement over a Wacom tablet since I would be working directly on the screen. Its easy enough to start Sidecar and the image looks great. The problem is that none of the tools in Photoshop work very well and some dont work at all. Ive tried it a number of times now and it doesnt react the same way every time. Ive found that restarting both the MacBook and iPad makes some improvement but it still does not operate at an acceptable level. When the brush tool works, the flow is greatly reduced even with all the settings turned to 100. The crop tool doesnt work at all, neither does the lasso tool. In summary Sidecar for Photoshop is unusable. I contacted Apple Care and after looking at it for awhile they said that the problems were because it was new and just not ready and also Photoshop could be part of the problem. So while Sidecar is a flop, everything else about the iPad is great. Its very fast and the battery life is great. I hope to use it for travel in place of my heavier MacBook. Since Ill be using it mostly for photography which will involve an external storage drive, I do wish it has a second USB C port.

Awesome display and if youre MACApple person all those features w track pad are an ease to use. Bought the magic kb which makes it my main laptop. The new Apple pencil is awesome as well I like the double tap feature to enable eraseannotate in my apps. I use it mainly for all my music files and music apps when practicing my piano. Disconnect from that strong magnet of the keyboard and its to go as a huge tablet where ever you need. I did buy a separate foldable cover for it for travel purposes it secures the pen and protects the sides of the tablet itself more so than the Magic KB design. Ill have this iPAD Pro for a very long time

Purchased this as a Mothers Day gift for mom, who is a digital designer and illustrator. She uses a MacBook Pro and Wacom Cintiq extensively, so this was the next logical step. Paired with the 2nd Gen Apple Pencil, this iPad her first has become an indispensable and irreplaceable tool in her artists toolbox. Procreate is her favorite app, though to be honest, anything you wish to do with the iPad, you can do it well, even if its just checking emails or social media. As I commented in my Apple Pencil review, I firmly believe that the Pencil should be included in the purchase even if it means driving the price up further simply because it is a MUST HAVE accessory to this incredible machine. If I could afford a second one, Id buy one for myself.

I previously had an iPad Pro 9.7 with an Apple Pencil and a detachable keyboard as I was trained many years ago as a touch typist. Eventually the keyboard connection became a bit hit and miss after 5 years or so so I decided with some trepidation to upgrade to the iPad Pro 2020 with new pencil and Smart Keyboard. My worries were only about the transfer of data and proved unfounded as with the latest iOS you can use Quick Start to set up and transfer all your data almost automatically and mine took less than an hour. BrilliantThe screen colours and clarity are wonderful and it is so quick. I am totally pleased and satisfied with it. It came on time, was of the quality I have come to expect and the guarantee was more than is offered elsewhere. Fantastic purchase

Absolutely amazing We were apprehensive about making this purchase at first as it was extremely expensive and we arent really apple people per say. We had the original ipad since it came out and have owned various iphones through the years but have mostly stuck to Android devices… All that being said, we couldnt be happier with our purchase…. Our new iPad is amazing Super fast and very easy to learn the os. We also bought the keyboard case with the track pad and this thing is basically a touch screen laptop for a fraction of the price We love it

Its got a great screen, ample ram and great battery life. Pair this with an apple pencil and you have yourself a powerful creativity device.Thin enough to fit in any backpack. However I recommend installing a glass screen protector and a case to enhance its durability since it is almost too thinThere are hundreds of tablets available in the market but nothing comes close to the iPad. A little pricey but definitely worth the money. Apple usually provides software updates for close to 5 years, while other Android manufacturers provide software support for approximately 2 years.

Pros Its a newer iPad, not much has really changed from the 2016 iPad Pro from a day to perspective, so it is very familiar. Face ID is good update although if holding the ipad in landscape expect your hand to cover the camera.Cons Too big, seemed like a good idea at the time, if I could take it back I would. 120hz screen isnt noticeable other than draining battery. Web browser performance is poor still stutters on many websites despite having a beefier cpu, basically the same performance as my 2016 iPad Pro. For a tablet costing well over a thousand pounds I would expect a lot more.TBH not sure why I brought it now as the 2016 performs just as well.

My sister broke her tibia bone last week. So my mother sadly spent the whole week up until Friday at the hospital carring for my sister. Anyways before I get to far off topic. Im autistic and have Epilepsy. So getting around is tough sometimes. but the 2020 iPad Pro 12.9 128GB has helped me out so much. I was able to talk to all my doctors and specialist Doctors via videochat appointments. Also keep in touch with my soon to be wife on the 25th of this month. This is a tougher made metal iPad Pro compared to the older models.I have dropped multiple times. even during a seizure. and It made it out on other side of that seizure like a champ I was so worried over it as I was slowly becoming more cognitive from the seizure. I realized what had transpired and my Mother showed me the iPad Pro 2020, because she reconizes what calms me down compared to something else. I highly recommend this model 2020 over the 201718 model. but I have struggled so far to get a rugged case and a better screen protector since the sad pandemic has started.

Awesome tablet decided to get 4th generation instead of newer 5th gen, because honestly the differences are minimal, and 4th gens have tons of discounts, Almost 250 less than similar 5th gen iPad after discounts. No brainer but as for this IPad, its the best table money can buy. From the operating system. To the speed of the hardware, its just incredible. You will not be disappointed only drawback I found is that iPad comes with newer usbC connectors, and of course I have an array of lighting connectors for all my other apple devices, so be prepared to either buy new cables or adapters to chargesync this newer iPads pro.

It is everything I had hoped it would be and more. I am an artist and use this primarily for drawing. I am using this with the Apple Pencil 2nd gen and its Just as sensitive If not more than the Wacom Cintiq and Kamvas Huion pro. Of all my digital drawing tools this is my favorite. Gorgeous high resolution display, wonderful pen sensitivity equal to the most advanced drawing tablets that are currently available. No lag running adobe photoshop or procreate. 128gb was more than enough space for me to have all my art programs, teaching apps, as well as some extras. This has taken my art and enjoyment of the process to the next level. No more being stuck on a computer. I can create high level art from the comfort of my bed or take it on the road

Since I also ordered the keyboard case with it, this iPad really feels like a laptop replacement. Key action on the keyboard feels better than my MacBook Pro, and I was surprised that it has backlighting as well. The screen on the iPad feels very spacious, especially when I cozy up with it in bed or on the couch. It is super fast and responsive. All in all, a great device when coupled with ATTs fast network. I dont think we are supposed to post speed test results, but suffice it to say I was very impressed that the results were over 100 MBPS. I thought you had to have 5G service to get speeds like that. ATTs NEXT finance program allowed me to purchase this on an installment plan without impacting my credit, which was important to me since I will be signing a mortgage in a few months. Very pleased

This is my fifth iPad and my second iPad Pro. I cant begin to describe what an awesome tablet it is, if you can really call it a tablet. I use my iPads hard and really put them to the test in my daily work and personal life. This generation is incredible. Apple has done it again and hasnt made a big enough fuss about it. The iPad Pro is elegant in every way and is slippery as you work within and between apps. I use it for music composition and illustration, which pushes the limits of any digital device. But this iPad just works seamlessly and without flaw. Im so glad I purchased it and catch myself smiling at my iPad every time I use it. Battery life is better, the screen is better, the operating system works better, the CPU is faster, it does everything better than ever before. I often use an Apple Magic Mouse when working online or using certain apps such as MS Excel. I also use a newgen Apple Pencil. It is so cool and works like no other stylus can. I love using the Pencil. You shouldnt have an iPad Pro without one in my opinion. If you are on the fence about an iPad due to cost or OS or whatever, I highly recommend to take the plunge. You will love it

I needed a portable, large screen, fast, video editing computer and the reviews of this one all pointed to doing all that I needed it to do. I was willing to invest in accessories like multi port dongles, the Magic Keyboard, Apple Pencil, and Max Master 3 Mouse, and this ipad functions Very much like a laptop Im not technically savvy enough to list the differences of what this ipad does, or, does not do, compared to a laptop, but, people who DO know have said If I had to choose between the iPad Pro and a MacBook, I would choose the iPad Pro I will probably never take advantage of all that this thing can do but it is more than impressive The screen is beautiful, it is fast, versatile, and I can take it with me anywhere For artists of any kind, for anyone who wants a portable work station with amazing capabilities, this device is hard to beat at twice the price Im not a gamer, but, I understand that apps, controllers, and peripherals are being developed so that game play will be another of this iPads offerings. Totally impressed and totally happy with this purchase

The iPad Pro 12.9 is a wonderful on the go device. Extremely powerful. Im fully vested into the Apple ecosystem because of the seamless workflow power you gain. I bought in addition to this the Magic Keyboard and Pencil. Both accessories truly make this iPad into laptop productive powerhouse utility.I didnt opt for the cell option because I am usually within WIFI radius or I have hot spotting on my iPhone or my car, so I didnt need to add the extra expense. 256GBs is enough storage for me. Everything is cloud base anyway. Also one killer feature is using Sidecar with your Mac. You can turn this iPad display into an extended Mac desktop with touch or pencil markup abilities, even though it is a Mac app. It is brilliant. Sign documents, mark up PDF. Extremely flexible. The processor in this unit is INSANE Blistering fast. It is no wonder that Apple is shifting their Macs to their A series chip design found on the iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch, Apple TV. When macOS 11, Big Sur drops, those apps will work between the platforms natively. I cant wait. Apple is firing on all cylinders. The one area they need improvement is getting iCloud to perform better, other than that they are solid and this is killer.I will say this, all of the iPads from 329 to this model perform exceptionally well. There is truly no limit.

I got this iPad, after being dead set on the Microsoft Surface tabletlaptops, and Im glad I did. I got it because Im in a medical graduate program, and wanted to be able to take notes directly on my professors lecture materials, and with the Apple Pencil it has been so awesome. It has also been awesome for apps used for 3D Anatomy Dissection and Learning. Yeah the Apple Pencil is expensive, and an addition to the cost of the iPad, but it has been worth it. It is super easy to use and navigate, and the Apple Pencil is super responsive to the tablet, feels like Im just taking notes on paper with a real pen or pencil I also got a keyboard to attach, which was expensive too. Those are really the only downsides, that everything is an addon and is expensive, on top of the already expensive device.

Very stoked to have this new tool to add to my art and design arsenal. Combined with the magic keyboard I can almost use it to replace my normal older MacBook Pro laptop. My only complaints thus far are related to the software I use for my design projects Adobe Illustrator is still not available in its entirely on the iPad pro, and the Illustrator Draw app could use some refinement, so i still need my laptop for project refinement.Excellent battery life thus far though we all know how that doesnt last. with Apple products especially , nice loud speakers if I need them, and the this with the Apple Pencil 2 has made making ideas come to life so much quicker and more convenient than ever.If youre using it for designart and are going to use the split screen option to easily switch between projects or use part of the screen for reference photos, then I definitely recommend the 12.9 inch version. However, if that isnt a necessity for you I would consider the smaller size, as it is in my opinion significantly lighter and even more nice and compact, while still being plenty big enough for standard laptop and tablet tasks.TLDR Awesome art and design tool. Go with the smaller version if you dont need the space for constant split screen apps or are mostly using it for nonartdesign related purposes.

I am in a graduate nursing school program and the iPad Pro is an amazing aid for school. I can access my school lectures, download anything I need, and use Notability to take notes on anything I want to. I like the larger iPad Pro because I can have my lecture PowerPoint on one side of the screen and take notes on the other side. With Notability, I can also use the mic to record the lecture that goes with the PowerPoint to listen to later. Another great thing about it is I am not trapped in my den at the desktop computer when I study. I got the gen 2 apple pen to go with it and a screen protector that has a paper feel to it. It makes having to study more enjoyable. I wish I had gotten one sooner. I may need a mini too for when I start clinicals

Purchased a new Apple iPad Pro 12.9 256GB with WiFi, from the Best Buy store, located at 2500 Winston Park Drive, in Oakville Ontario, Canada. From the very careful, thoughtful, well informed greeting, to the final result of walking out of Best Buy, with a great new iPad, this was truly a 5 Star Experience out of 5 StarsAs a general comment, having done a lot of business with this Best Buy store, since it opened, in the early 2000s, I have been treated exceptionally well. I have found everyone from the Team LeadersGMs, to the door greeters, to be very polite, highly knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile. This has consistently been an extremely well managed storeAs a specific comment, regarding my most recent iPad purchases 2, I found this experience to be exceptionally positive. We live in difficult times, and from the time I was greeted, in person, by the store Team LeaderGM, Ryan Parenti, who wore a mask, and was very careful to keep a good social distance, to the introduction of a masked and socially distanced Corey, the inhouse Apple Specialist, to the cashing out sequence, with a masked and socially distanced Tim, I was treated perfectly. After Ryan made the introduction to Corey, Corey stepped up and really played a valuable role in helping me make my purchasing decision. He was wellinformed, explained everything in the exact manner I needed things explained, and he helped me throughout the process of purchasing the iPads for my son I, and he then helped me to select the best KeyboardProtective Case, for our specific uses. Full points to Corey, because he answered all of my questions, and he also added to my knowledge, which helped me make a much better decision than I might have made, by anticipating questions that I might have had, after I had left the store, and he explained the warranty options, which in the past, I have found to be highly useful. Buy the WarrantyAt the time of cashing out, Tim stepped in to ensure that the process of paying for everything was quick and relatively painless. I say relatively in the context of making a significant purchase. Tims help, was flawless and once again, through Ryan Parenti, I was introduced to a person that truly knew what he was doing, and was both highly professional and very diplomatic, throughout the cashing out process.Having purchased major small appliances, laptops, iMacs, iPads, iPhones, TVs, printers, and all sorts of various accessories, my experience with this store has always been exceptional.I highly recommend this Best Buy, and would suggest that you refer your friends. Ryan, Corey, Tim, and the rest of the Professional Team, at this particular Best Buy, are truly amazing to deal withDan BodanisMississauga Ontario Canada.August 5 2020

What more can be said iPad Pro 12.9 4th Generation 512 GB.I use it daily, Im using it NOW. I use with in conjunction with iPad folio. Super fast, lovely display and easily connects via Bluetooth to my phone, so no need for a cellular version. The LIDAR scanner is, to be honest, ahead of its time. To use the full potential of the LIDAR, I bought an APP called COMPLETE ANATOMY. Ive been using it as a teaching aid for my children, while they remain home due to Covid.Complete Anatomy is college level education application, but it never hurts to educate beyond their expected education 12 and 10 year old, and with the AR placement keeps them entertained.Im rambling. If you are in the market for a tablet, the clear choice and winner always has been an Ipad. Ive tried other Andriod tablets in the past and they just feel like large phones. From the sweet of software to the responsive and unique touch commands, the Ipad has its own unique space that competitors just cant seem to break into. Its no wonder though, as this thing is an artists dream. If you are into music, art drawing, painting etc this is the tablet for you. If you are looking for an alternative to the Apple Pen, there is a LogiTech pen that is cheaper that is certified by Apple and works just as well.

I bought this as a replacement for a 7yearold MacBook Air. Im not a pro user, nor did I buy this for the camera we all have phones. Only 48 hours in, Im very pleased I did. I also bought the Magic Keyboard, an essential for me as this is a laptop replacement. The quality of the screen is amazing. The sound from the speakers is more than good enough for something this size. The integration with my other Apple devices and the Google ecosystem has been very, very easy. The mouse integration is pretty good although Im still getting used to subtle differences. Id say that if you need it for work or are a power user this is probably not for you. But as a frequently used home device, itll be perfect for me. And the Netflix app allows you to download movies to view offline you cant do that on a MacIts pricey but you can feel the quality. Well worth it.

Apple iPad Pro 2020 12.9 tablet is great. With the new iPad iOS 13.4 update which allows the use of a track pad and mouse which is a good start for future applications. If you are upgrading from the 2018 iPad Pro, I would skip the 2020 model. If you are looking for a new or upgrade from another tablet, iPad etc. and have the money to do so, the iPad Pro will not disappoint you at all. The price of the 12.9 is expensive, staring at 1000, tax, Apple care if you want an extra year of warranty, Apple Pencil and a case. Yes please get a good case, the aluminum chassis, is bendable, if you place it in a backpack without a case, with other stuff, it can bend. So, the PROS of this iPad, iOS software, Apple apps, screen resolution, very easy to use, WiFi 6, 6 gigs of ram, an the entry iPad has 128 gigs hard drive space. Great mics, and speakers. USB C. Apple future software updates will help keep this tablet for years.Cons can bend if not in a case, camera, for me this is a negative. This iPad Pro is large, and I would not use this on a trip to take photos I use a camera or my phone. Im not a fan when on a vacation and someone uses an iPad to take a picture and can be blocking someone from their photo experiences. I do not use AR yet, not many apps to use or justify it, as Apple is trying to promote LIDAR Scanner. Maybe in the near future it will be something special, but for now, not a big deal for me.

I read reviews, I never actually leave them, but I feel like someone may benefit from this hopefully I was actually looking into laptops as mine was officially on its last leg, eventually after much research I decided on a tablet, I needed something portable, quick and efficient. I also decided to go paperless in the midst of my research.Im an Android user all the way, Ive never jumped on bandwagons and just got an item based on brand, I base decisions on usability, how itll ware with time and if its worth my money. The iPad pro 2020 was what I finally decided on, and I chose John Lewis because they were the only company kindly offering 2 year garuntee everyone else was charging extra Ive not had a bad experience yet with John Lewis through all the ordering Ive done.Delivery iPad came next day selected my own dateProvided me with regular updates about where my parcel is and a time slot for delivery.Packaging came in a box inside a box , which then had the apple product box inside it, so very safely packaged, no complaints hereCons they didnt have the pencil in stock at the same time unfortunately so I had to shop elsewhere for it.The actual productNo one shows you online in the videos but it does take sometime to actually set up faster set up if you have an iPhone .No visible lag between writing with the pencil and what you see on the screen literally like writing with pen and paper , only thing I would recommend is a matte screen protector to get a more pencil to paper feel if youre going to be writing a lot.I picked the 125gb version smallest memory simply because you can attach external hard drives to it. Been using my iPad for a few weeks now and Ive barely made a dent in the storage.Earphones you will need to get a type c Jack earphones .Overall a great product and I cant fault it. Almost forgot to mention you cant attach a usb wired printer to it via the port on the ipad.

So far Im very satisfied with my purchase I got this primarily because I wanted to delve more into digital art and for that I can say its great due to its size. Although I ordered the iPad and pencil at the same time I ended up getting the pencil a week later than the iPad. After trying the iPad for a week without the pencil I feel you get the most value out of the iPad with the pencil, but Im also saying this as someone who isnt using a keyboard with it…yet. One drawback about the 12.9in iPad Pro is the lack of accessories on the market at the moment. Although the form factor is the same as the 2018 iPad pro, the change made to the camera means we have to wait for new cases to be made. Especially if youre like me and dont want to spend exorbitant amounts of money on keyboard folio cases. Also, I got the 512GB version because I was worried about not being able to upgrade the storagenot knowing how much storage would be necessary for what I intend to do. So far I have the preinstalled apps and 21 other apps loaded on, and some photos, and Ive only used 21GB of storage. More experienced iPad users may have a better idea of storage requirements, all I can is for those doing light load tasks you could probably get away with far less storage.

iPad was delivered in great condition to my address and did not require a signature. Nothing was damaged.Despite the high price tag, the quality and design of Apple products are excellent. I paired this with the magic keyboard. It has been an amazing workhorse for all my meetings and emails. I would definitely recommend this over a MacBook Air unless you need programs like Final Cut ProMainstage. I own a MacBook Pro 16 inch. The iPad, paired with the magic keyboard, feels the same key travel and trackpadwise. If you are a student, definitely look into opening a Best Buy Account. I was able to get the MAGIC KEYBOARD for FREE and an additional 300 OFF the iPad. Deals and offers only last a week. Timing is crucial to getting the best deal on this incredible device.iPad Pro 12.9 Silver 256 GB

I like this Ipad its light, compact, easy and convenient to carry with you outside. Its performance in general is great, fast web loading, all the apps that Ive used so far have worked well. However, I am disappointed with it today when I found out that it does not function as well as my slow computer in regard to loading large files from a hard drive. It took about a minute to load when I connected my hard drive, and it took about 10 second to load every photo in it which made me very annoy and upset. It defeated my main purpose of buying this Ipad as read the advertisement of the Ipad pro that it works faster than any current laptop clearly not when working with hard drive. I was disappointed as I spend a lot of time with my photos in the hard drive and I expected I can do it easily with this Ipad.

I have owed iPads since their initial release 10 years ago. Some have been better than others meanwhile some stand head and shoulders about the crowd. The 2020 iPad Pro 12.9 is the latter. It is absolutely the best iPad ever and the best tablet on the planet. Only a small upgrade from 2018 model the upgrades are where it counts, the CPU and the graphics processor. This thing is lightning fast. I have yet find any application that even starts to slow it down from games to photo editing. Battery life is good for an entire day of working or playing without recharging. The iPad Pro 2020 has a much needed USBC connector for charging and adding accessories. You can even use a USBC dock to connect multiple devices at one time. Sound quality is the best of any mobile device that I have tried whether you use the built in speakers or headphones. With the right headphones the sound quality is as good as your home receiver with headphones. Is it expensive Yes but if you want the best tablet you can get that will still be usable several years down the road then its worth every penny.

Having this tablet makes it easy to move about my busy days productively I use it for work or various personal things.I have the keyboard recently, released from Apple and it has definitely allowed me to use it as a computer. The display is quite nice and I can easily navigate from one project to the next with a swipe thanks to IPAD OS. During COVID Ive been able to pick up so many hobbies with my iPad. I previously owned the 10.5 inch so this is a nice upgrade. My ten year old loves using animation apps with the Apple pencil. You can do so many things I highly recommend.

I like the screen size for my bad eyes. It is a great help. However, I have to transfer 3GB video files weekly to a flashdrive. The Files app dies not have a progress bar. It takes usually about 30 minutes to transfer using the Apple usbc to uasb cable and a usb 3.0 Sandisk thumb drive. It crawls. If the apps I use had been available on a Samsung Tab S, I would have bought it instead. Aplles closed system, and lack of fast transfer speeds on a usb 3.0 system definitely is not Pro level, and this iPad Pro 12.9 was definitely not worth the money I paid for it.

I updgrated from an 8 years old iPad, thus my review may be a bit biased as the jump is really huge. The screen is really amazingly sharp and clear, a pleasure to use. The iPad itself is extremely light and feels perfect on my hands I have average size hands.Besides the standard use web browsing, movies, etc. I have been using it for drawing Procreate and music ForScore apps. Thats where it really shines. Very fast loading of large PDF files in ForScore and fast screan redrawing.Face recognition works even in the dark. Sound is really good, I dont feel the need of using headphones or bluetooth speakers. The pencil works very well, however for drawing I would have liked a slightely thiner tip but this is the first time I am attempting to draw on a table. Is great for sketching and more.Only con is that you cant use the Apple pencil to write in some native Apple applications like Safary.Sure is an expesive device, but I rather spend 1000 on this ipad than on a new iPhone, as it has much more uses and capabilities.

History removal is very primitive have to squeeze screen with 2 fingers to bring up past screens, then remove history one screen at a time. pretty silly should be able to remove all history with one click. Not very good quality, this my 3rd iPad only because there is nothing else out there. 1st. one 2yr old and screen went bad 2nd one 2yr, 2mos. old and motherboard went bad. had always carried in case they both looked new when they quit. contacted apple both times, they said sorry to hear that, guess you need to buy a new one. They are very unfriendly to any accessory that isnt apple. should offer a stylus in black or silver that fits in your shirt pocket. their stylus is over priced . I pad for its durability and features is way over priced. 1 star means screen and speaker quality are good.Wish some would make a tablet that is worth the money.

I have sold on my old iPad 3 and MacBook Pro and this is the replacement. My requirement is for a second computer and a faster up to date iPad, to be connected to my iMac. This fits the bill very well indeed. It is considerably lighter than either of its predecessors, appears to be much faster and performs all the functions of the old iPad and most of those of the MacBook Pro. I am a photographer and wanted a portable viewer whilst out on assignment, particularly abroad, this new iPad is excellent for this and download to screen is very fast. I cannot use Photoshop on it but the Mobile Lightroom functions well. It is VERY expensive, particularly if you buy the Keyboardtracker cover, with it. But you get an excellent product, my old iPad was over 12 years old and still worked well, although no longer updatable.

The good Ipad has come a long way, and the pro series, along with the new air, are excellent options for cloud application use. Bright and very clear screen makes it easy to work with remote desktop applications while leaving your bulky laptop home.A fast CPU comparable with most laptops but better battery live and faster charge. The Bad I had the iPad 11 in pro 2018, and sold it to get a new one and while at it why not a bigger right Well the battery last half of what it did on the 11 in pro. I have to keep charging it during the day. I am a heavy remote desktop user and that is what I experienced. If you enable Cell connection 1. It will last 14 of the normal time.2. Very pleased with our purchase and, no issue setting it up. Ordered on line from Best Buy, it only took just a few days to receive it and we received it on the day it was do to arrive. Happy with the screen size, speed, quality of the photos from the camera, and the magic keyboard and mouse from our iMac desk top computer that we did not use for the computer setup easily with no issues connecting. We went with the Targus case model THZ775GL53 and it fits perfect. Camera cutout fit is correct for the 4th generation 2020. The iPad sits down inside the case so it protects the sides of the iPad, the buttons all work freely, its a light weight case, and holds the pen secure enough.

This 2020 model of the iPad Pro represents an incremental upgrade of the redesigned 2018 version. Yes, its a bit faster with new specs, and it has improved camera features. But, I probably would not have upgraded from my previous iPad Pro if I had not clumsily dinged it up on a business trip. That said, however, this is a spectacular gem of computing hardware. It runs quicker than my 2019 MacBook Pro laptop, has a brighter display and is, of course, more lightweight and easier to use. When you combine those features with the new Magic Keyboard worth the investment and the iPadOS software, this iPad Pro can now be the singular, allpurpose computing tool that most folks will need for basic email, web browsing, word processing and video entertainment. For heavy duty work tasks and video editing, I still prefer my MBP laptop. But, this iPad Pro can be a perfect allinone device for most people, and it will be my goto travel computer. The Magic Keyboard with trackpad effectively turns this iPad Pro into a fullblown, productivity laptop. And, you also can easily detach the iPad from the Magic Keyboard, and lean back to consume entertainment and read. The downsides of this iPad Pro are its price and its tiny improvements from the 2018 model. If you buy the Magic Keyboard with this iPad Pro, youre spending more than the cost of an entrylevel MacBook Pro laptop. You can rationalize the cost by citing the power and versatility of this iPad Pro, and its both of those things. My bottom line If you have a 2018 iPad Pro, this is not a mandatory upgrade. You can still take advantage of the new Magic Keyboard and iPad OS with the older model. But if youre new to iPad or have a pre2018 version, you should give this a serious look. Its a seriously superb 2in1 device

If youre a first time buyer at BH then this review is for you. I was looking at purchasing an iPad Pro during Black Friday sales, well I was unsure at first whether to drop a hefty 900 on a gadget and so by the time I did decide, Best Buy had already ran out of iPads. Anyway, I searched online and came across this site, the interface and user design gave me sketchy vibes but then I saw that they were Apple official distributors, then I asked my brother if hes heard of this website, and he assured me theyre very trust worthy because he gets all his official canon camera equipment through here hes a journalist. Anyway I was about to purchase when all of a sudden it said that the people who process the orders are on break for a short period of time celebrating a Jewish holiday, and I thought to myself, wow this company really cares about his workers enough to commemorate holidays. Once it hit 6 pm EST I placed my order, BH sent my package on expedited two day shipping, the iPad came inside another bigger box that was suspended by cardboard so that it can mitigate any bumps along the way. The iPad came in mint condition and I really appreciate this company for being equally as quick as perhaps bigger companies such as Best Buy or Amazon. Hopefully this helps someone out there. Happy holidays

I bought this as a substitute for my laptop which is a 2012 MacBook Pro. I am a photographer and I was skeptical of the iPad Pros capability to edit photos in Lightroom. Many of the same features on the full version of Lightroom are available on the iPad and the pencil makes it so intuitive. In fact, if there are any features that arent available on the iPad Pro version of Lightroom, I simply havent missed them. The Apple Pencil is a must. One additional reason I bought the iPad Pro over a MacBook, was the ability to draw and illustrate. Combined with a paper like screen protector, the iPad Pro is a great tool for artists. It has the feel of paper and responsiveness needed to create illustrations. I am truly impressed. If theres room for opportunity for the iPad Pro, it is in data processing apps such as Excel and Google Sheets. It can be cumbersome to copy and paste data from tables and Google Sheets doesnt make it easy to import spreadsheets into an existing sheet. A Bluetooth mouse and keyboard are a must.I would recommend this as a tool for artists, photographers and creative professionals. The intuitive touch capabilities and actions enable creativity without restricting users. I would be cautious about making this a substitute for a laptop users who find themselves coding or toiling through spreadsheets of data. It simply isnt for everyone, but it works great for me.

I just love my iPad Pro. It has become an essential tool for my everyday life. Im a mother of four kids and since these past months they have been in school online and my iPad it has made much easier to keep up with their schoolwork, stay up to dete in any news with their teachers and school. At the same time the features that it has are very easy to stay in contact with family and friends. Create schedules, organize my cooking recipes, and photos. The resolution that the screen has is amazing that when Im watching a movie or just simply doing any research for anything that Im interested. The detail that Im able to see is wonderful. Not only that so far its been very easy to learn to use specially when Im not that good expert in computer skills. I dont regret get in it.

I refused to upgrade my older Ipad for 6 years. I never felt there was enough innovation to warrant the purchase. Finally, I took the plunge. I went to the bigger 12.9 Pro. Thus, I upgraded the size and the processor. I used to have the iPad Air. I wasnt sure about how I would like the much larger size. I shouldnt have worried. In this case bigger really is better. I pick up the old one from time to time and realize my older eyes appreciate the choice. I read voraciously. This 12.9 iPad Pro was just the thing I wanted. No regrets.

This is actually my second IPad Pro. I bot the first cringing because of the cost as I wanted something with which I could work and travel and also work from home. I was so impressed with the iPad Pro that I bot this 2nd one as well to replace my computer at work. I paired it with the magic keyboard, which is a great typing experience as well as the airbus pro. Was it expensive. Yes, but frankly my desk looks more professional, I dont have cords all over the place, everything works together seamlessly and the Pro is actually faster than my old desk top and laptop. Encryption is tight on this thing, no more buying a bunch of security programs I have to update every year. I love the fact that the magic keyboard is a portable cover as well and I can charge my iPad through the keyboard leaving the side port free to charge my air buds. Definitely worth it to me. Easiest computer ever to set up and I didnt even have to have my daughter show me how to do it. Oh, and when you get the second one, you just start it up next to the first and it pretty much sets itself up for you. Airbud Pros are phenomenal. I love the fact that if I am watching a business video or news and I have to pull my bud out to answer a question the iPad pauses the video until I put the bud back in.

I had gone back and forth on whether I wanted a laptop or an iPad for months. I did extensive research, read reviews and testimonials of those who use both and if it fulfilled their computing and designing needs. Since its a huge expense, I didt want to make any regrettable decisions. So, I made my choice and it was well worth it for me The iPad Pro has everything I needed. I was able to download the new full version of Photoshop, as well as the Microsoft 365 apps . I can transition tasks I work on seamlessly between my iPhone 11 Pro Max and the iPad Pro and not have to worry about losing information. Its lightweight portability is essential, since I take this everywhere. Its the allinone I was looking for and am so happy with it. Along with the iPad Pro, I had purchased the Apple Pencil 2nd generation and Magic Keyboard, which I absolutely love The only caveat of the iPad Pro is the lack of ports. So, I bought a 7inone port hub on Amazon for less than I would anywhere else, which worked out great. Other than that small issue, the iPad Pro is a fantastic machine that certainly doesnt disappoint.

Apple devices are far more expensive than other types of devices of the same type. Considering they are made in China like almost every other electronic device. Their pricing should be a lot more competitive.2. Pedantic operating system lacks flexibility and can only be used the way Apple wants you to use it. No customizations possible unlike Android or Windows.3. Lack of freeware apps for IOS compared to Windows and Android.Apple brand previously had no issues in regards to Virus, and malware etc. Now its susceptible to the online nasties.

If you want a tablet, this is probably the one to get. This was on sale for a very short while and I luckily got it then. This isnt anything revolutionary though, its just a well made tab. Good job apple. I use this primarily for language learning and drawing, but I guess it can a good device for pro users but with the new one coming out. I would wait. The M1 chip is really good and the fact that itll be in the new makes me a little jealous that I didnt wait… the downside to that is that the optimization and support on M1 has been a literal nightmare for me already… having to deal with that on my tab too, ehhh yeah no thank you. Ive always been a skeptic of the iPad Pro wondering what justified the price tag thinking that it was just a larger iPhone, but having it a few days, I know understand it is an absolute powerhouse for multitasking and keeps up, if not beats my 2019 27 5k iMac. It keeps up and is faster than a lot of computers out there today, and Im doing 3D CAD design using sharpr3d and I leave other apps open at the same time. Even the geek bench scores prove. Only thing Id improve or want is an OLED screen or more than 6gb of ram. Aside from that, the 12.9 screen is absolutely impressive as well. The amount of power that apple packs into a paperthin and ultralight piece of aluminum and glass is amazing. Pair this with their smart folio keyboard, and Microsofts surface tablet is no competition. I also forgot to mention that the Apple Pencil 2nd generation is the one I own, is miles above any stylus out there. Practically no latency and the accuracy of pressure and gestures is awesome.

The iPad Pro is joy to work with. I purchased it with the Magic Keyboard and although thats a nice complement that pairs and works superbly, doesnt feel necessary in most situations where portability is the priority. The keyboard, although svelte and protective, adds a considerable amount of weight. Goor form factor and weight. Great screen. Works well in all lighting conditions. Fast and responsive. WiFi and web browsing is super fast. I have the 256Gb version which feels plenty along with my iCloud service to complement it. faceID works well. Also fast and responsive. I use it as a good but not complete substitute for a MacBook Pro. Im also experimenting with music composition and production with GarageBand. Good sound from the four speakers and the processor seems to be more than adequate for multitrack digital compositions.

Coming from the 7th generation which I loved, but gave it to my mom after I paid it off, this is such a stellar experience Paired with the Magic Keyboard, it has quickly become a laptop replacement for me, as it serves as everything I need for working home due to the pandemic. The display is BEAUTIFUL. I dont feel like the size is too much every Apple product I have, I always get the bigger version, if applicable, the battery life is great it is such a powerful device. As usual, the buying, shipping delivery process was superb I ordered it early morning, I got the shipped email by that evening it was in my hands the very next morning I love my iPad I highly recommend it. Even if you dont want to get this particular size, having an iPad Pro is having one of the best tablets on the market

This is my 3rd iPad Pro, and this 4th generation model is just awesome I purchased this for my wife, and she loves that the overall iPad is smaller, but the screen size remained the same. A lot easier to hold. Optics are much clearer, and the biggest plus is the face recognition However, I am disappointed that I cant use my Apple Pen 1 on this model. The pen is over 100, and I am disappointed in Apple for not at least including it with the purchase of 1,000 tablet. Now the pen is useless with my new iPad. Come on Apple, you can do better than that

I dont even know where to begin… but this is, hands down, the best iPad that Apples released, ever. Ive had iPads since the very first generation years ago and always felt that there isnt ever really a huge jump from one generation to the next only significant and noticeable changes every other model, or so. However, this one blows iPad Pro Gen. 3 and all predecessors out of the water Theres a HUGE improvement from Gen. 3 to 4Im an interior designer and use all Apple products iMac in my studio, MacBook Pro when onsite and mobile, and my iPad Pro everywhere especially for client meetings, sketches, cad, and taking notesgathering information for projects. This iPads fantastic though. The battery life actually lasts as long as Apple touts, the screens resolution and clarity is SO much more vibrant and clear, and its fast No lagging, no apps closing, and no dead battery after using for four hours I toggle between heavy apps all day long and this thing keeps up… its amazingMy ONLY complaint is with the Magic Keyboard. The iPads sides arent protected at all, and if you use it to write or sketch with, think again… you have to remove it from the keyboard every single time since the magic keyboard doesnt flip underbackwards. So, that was a bit of a miss on Apples part. They couldve at least sold a smart case separately to give the option of a little more protection. Other than that, I have absolutely nothing but praise for the new iPad Its great for anyone, but its especially a musthave for designers and architects

I wasnt sure about picking up the big iPad. Ive owned several iPads over the years. I had the original iPad which had incredible battery life. I had an iPad Mini, which was generally too small for anything productive. Then the iPad Air, which seemed to be a good, but still a bit small for my purpose. Then the first iPad Pro 10.5 came out. That was a great size and I was able to use it for a good 3 years. Looking to upgrade I considered the iPad 12.9… wondering if it would be TOO big. Im actually a bit on the fence about it. I enjoy the extra screen real estate when using the iPad 12.9 for work via virtual machines. Its literally a laptop when using it with the Magic Keyboard. BUT when just reading, and typical media consumption, it can be heavy and a big unruly due to its size.Build quality is typical Apple. Excellent and solid. No issues there.Performance I cant slow this thing down. It doesnt matter how many apps I have open, or what Im doing, it never lags. I will say that Im not editing video or pictures, but I do some gaming and a lot with remote computers.Screen is very bright and the screen refresh rate is amazingly smooth.Battery life is pretty good, I was hoping for more, but I do tend to run my screen on the brighter end of the spectrum. Im sure at 50 that the battery life would meet my expectations, but I like a bright screen.Overall, its a great machine if not too big. I think the 11 would provide the best of both worlds depending on your use case. If youre using the iPad as your primary machine, the 12.9 is for you. If for content consumption or as a secondary device, then the 11 might be more your speed.

I have multiple MacBookPros, and a 4 year old iPadPro, and been a Mac person for a long time, but unless you keep up with the Mac mobile OS updates, you may not like this device any more than I do. No back button, and unless you love iCloud I do not you will need to purchase several adapters to be able to use this device with anything else. I actually wanted the newer unit, but the newest display has such a horrendous display issue with white on black, I ended up with last years model. The Pro is light, but the keyboardprotective cover is really heavy, and very inflexible. By comparison I also have a Samsung Tab7, and its functionality and accessory capability are much more user friendly…..and Samsung does not force use of Samsung devices like Apple does. My old iPadPro combo of devicekeyboard is lighter and more flexible in use. App loading is only marginally faster than my old iPadPro. Apple has regressed here in user friendly operation. Even setting up this Pro was an issue. I was supposed to see a message on my other Apple device to get a code to proceed. Ok, I have 5 MacBookPros, and an iPadPro, which one was the code sent to I tried 3 devices, including a 2019 MBookPro 16, and did not see the code, and decided I did not want to keep playing bring me a rock. Had to use the alternate option. And I hope you like to swipe, hesitate swipe, or partial swipe this way or that, to get things done because those are apparently the only methods useful for moving between windows, openingclosing apps, etc. Obviously disappointed in my purchase, wish they simply gave users some options for device interaction instead of forcing swipes of this type or that to get everything done.

My old ipad had served me well for many years, but I thought it would be useful to get a larger iPad to, for example, read full page pdfs, which I often need to do. One of the strengths of ipads is that there is little drama associated with them. I have used my new iPad for several months. The greater size is useful. It is more versatile than my old iPad. It does not do all the things that a good laptop can do, but it does a lot of them and does them well enough. It is terrific for streaming TV content and movies. The camera is good. I use it with a bluetooth keyboard at times and that works fine. Overall, it is very versatile and useful.

I love my ipad. I use it every day for work and have many apps on it for research and for personal use. There are a couple controls that Im not excited about. the slide down control in the right hand corner is a little bit tedious to find the brightness on it. Also to get out of a current app you have to slide your finger up from the bottom and then the menu shows a whole bunch of other apps that you close out of which I find to be a little confusing and sometimes it doesnt quite work. Overall I love the iPad and will definitely buy another one because I cant live without it. It is userfriendly but there are a couple controls that need some work

I had been wanting to buy an iPad for quite some time so I could start drawing again and let me tell you, the iPad pro does not disappoint. From the speed to the responsiveness of the screen when Im drawing with my Apple Pencil. Since pretty much all of the apps that I use on my iPhone are available for the iPad, I started using my iPad more than my phone. Even with texting, most of my friends have iPhones so I use iMessage on it as well. Since I can use my phone as a mobile hotspot, I really had no reason to buy the cellular version. The camera takes amazing photos. It sucks that instagram lowered the quality of the photo but for the most part, it still looked great. I first had bought the 11 inch version but it felt too small for me, especially because how I grip the pencil because I am left handed. I bought a screen protector that feels like Im drawing on paper and this is just perfect for me. All in all, if you can afford it, I would definitely recommend this iPad over all of the other ones.

Recently bought the 12.9 iPad Pro… Its a beautiful machine, if youd call it that. A little scary at times, displaying its abilities but a highly functional tool. This thing is super fast blows my PC and iPhone away in side by side searching and app performance. Its sleek and sorta light. Difficult to handle without a case, plus you will totally soil the screen. Plan to spend a bit on accessories… Keyboardcover, pencilcrayon, screen pro are the most necessary. The best part of this device, at least for me is, it projects an awesome image to its screen. That is what I am, and will use this device most for checking photos, watching video and live streams at home. Perfect for that

Bought the second generation 12.9 pro a few years and found it unwieldy at the time.Ive owned the iPad since its first generation and bought several Air, 10.1 Pro, etc…for family members over the past 10 years. After some research on the latest model miniled XDR, I decided the higher end display and M1 chip arent necessary for my needs browsing, movies, email, MS Office. The 4th gen iPad Pro with Cellular came at a 150 difference, which was easy to justify when you think of monthly data plan, and how quickly thing add up. You no longer need a dedicated sim slot because of esim capabilities as well, so one less portslot to worry about. On my original comment about the 2nd gen being unwieldy, the 4th gen has come a long way since then. The size, weight and weight distribution makes this a very easy tablet to carry around. If the price drop further for Memorial day or closer to the holidays, this would be a great deal overall. Your independent use cases and mileage may vary, but the 12.9 fits my needs perfectly.Hope this helps someone out there.

Once you have these things set up they work brilliantly. The setup instructions however claim that they work more or less out of the box,… in a parallel universe they probably doAfter repeated attempts to set up as instructed I resorted to the internet reviews, nearly all of which said ignore the instructions do this or that.Nothing worked for me so we resorted to the BT helpline. One hour twenty minutes later honestly a gentleman answered led me part way through a totally different process before we got cut off After waiting in vain far a call back I rang again. Forty five minutes later the same gentleman is there just one answered. The call centre cant ring you back apparently He courteously walked me through the rest of the totally unrelated to the printed instructions process and bingoThey have been working really well for two weeks now. Excellent 150mbps throughout a large house with three discs. I checked out the iPad Pro 2020 before purchasing because I wanted to check the size, if it was going to be too big as I wanted the 12.9 screen. This iPad Pro is perfect for my needs. The size is wonderful and not too big. I have been able to use it for better viewing and it takes the place of my laptop. Also using some of the software from iWorks and learning new things on the iPad. I purchased this one with just the WiFi since I have a smaller iPad that has both WiFi and Cellular that I want take if I travel. This has worked out great I also purchased the Lenovo cover with the keyboard attached. This combination makes the iPad Pro so easy to use between the touch screen and the keyboard cover attached.

I bought it to be able to draw, I had the smaller one but its easier on a larger screen. As you probably know this is the top of the line, Ill just mention a couple minor crits. Its surprisingly heavy and Ive not got used to it. Its not really something you can casually use with one hand, the way my other iPads have been. Its that heavy. It also has a thunderbolt connector, so none of your previous iPad or iPhone cords will work to charge. Theyre treating it like a computer, which it sort of is. I do wish these still had a button, the face ID is cumbersome for me, my face isnt always in front of it when I want to turn it on, and lo and behold when you hold the thing in your hands, youre naturally covering the face ID camera with your palm or finger. That feature is my least favorite. Its a wonder to work with though, the drawing with sidecar as an additional photoshop screen is beyond.

Im a power user in the tech industry. Which means I will dive deeper into the specs on performance and capabilities, before buying. Everything matters to me and that adds the look, feel, function, reliability of the product itself and the companys history. Then, I take all of that information and project how long Im likely to use the product, before I outgrow it. I purchased this iPad Pro 12.9, 4th Generation with 1 TB, WIFI Cellular instead of waiting for the 5th Generation. Why My research leads me to believe the only differences between the two tablets is updated marketing materials and changed names on a few internal components. Same car different paint. If you find a 4th Gen that exceeds your needs and expectations for the next 15 yrs. buy it and save some money. I saved 400 now and will not be tempted to buy another tablet for a couple of years. This iPad has the right depth of features and performance for all college students thru Ph.D in all majors and all professionals. However, professionals should seriously consider adding Cellular to virtually guarantee reliable connection to the cloud and their organization. My original intent had been to buy the iPad Pro for working from home and the I Mac 27 for the office, I was so impressed with the iPad and what it was capable of I saved the money and simply bot another iPad Pro. Put the new one next to the old one and it practically set itself up. Amazing the ability Apple has to cause seamless work flow through their products while maintaining a very intuitive platform. And fast I have to say Im really enjoying not have to wait 5 minutes or having to purchase a bunch of different programs to accomplish my work needs. The iPad is very mobile and frankly, I like it better than my previous laptop. Nice job Apple

I got this to use for college to take notes, do homework, get access to digital textbooks, etc basically lessen the load in the backpack. And so far so goodI was hoping to use it to multitask notetaking with online classes but for some reason it is unable to use the camera while multitasking a big oversight, IMO.And lets not forget its uses for in between schoolrelated functions. Its a great device to simply sit down and watch movies on, cruise the web, and play games. For me, I love being able to use ProCreate with the Apple Pencil to draw. Just be sure to get a screen protector that mimics the feel of paper if you plan to use it for art.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband This has been a great artistic outlet for him with procreate and the apple pencil 2. He also really appreciates using it as a portable external monitor with Sidecar on his Macbook Pro.This is an expensive piece of hardware. We were willing to pay that much for a large screened drawing tablet with a well loved art software that would work seamlessly with our existing apple products. Most people probably do not need a large pro tablet, or if you do need more than a cheaper tablet can offer, youd be better off purchasing a laptop. We new it was a frivolous purchase going in and have not been disappointed.

Ive had several iPads. I was hooked the moment I tried the first iPad many years ago. I love them. But this new iPad Pro is unlike any other out there and no other tablet can compare. I use my iPad for graphic design, illustration, and music composition. It performs flawlessly. Im continually amazed how slickly it handles the most rigorous operations. When composing music, I will have several applications linked together simultaneously, while controlling a virtual instrument on the iPad via MIDI from a keyboard. Its a lot for one machine. But it just crunches through it. I am so happy with this iPad Pro. I really dont think that Apple has advertised its capabilities enough. Its just such a wonderful and useful tool. If youve been on the fence about buying an iPad, or if you have an iPad and not sure if its worth upgrading to the iPad pro, take my word for it. This iPad is amazing

This iPad is the most powerful and useful mobile device I think available. The cameras are stellar and the screen is beautiful. I put a paper like screen protector on it and with the Apple Pencil its literally like drawing on paper with a pencil. I think Im going to invest in the Apple keyboard stand next. Ill give it a few months to see if I actually use the pop up keyboard enough to warrant the cost. All in all this is definitely worth the investment. If youre an artist and will use the power and size go for it. Get a paper feel screen protector to really get the most out of the experience. Youll be very happy with the results.

I spent over a thousand dollars on iPad Pro and had the understanding the pencil came with it. The guy even showed me how to use it on the display one. Well, when I opened the box, it wasnt there and when I called, I was told it does not come with it. I was very disappointed . Also I went into the store to ask them to help me put the screen on because I was afraid I would mess it up with my arthritic hands and to show me or at least tell me how to set up the iPad. They said they would do it but it would cost me 100 and were not very nice about it when I refused to pay for something that should be a service. I had to order the screen and iPad cover because they did not have any in the store.Ive purchased many things from Best Buy, but no more. With no service, Ill go to Sams or Costco. This is my first iPad and there is a LOT to get used to. It doesnt power down easily. Apparently iPad people dont care about their storage or what Apple is doing with your data. You cant back up your iPad to iCloud, so figure out something else. I think this must be the first iPad to allow a USB device to be connected because there is a terrific lack of support for such actions. I eventually found out how to get at the data but nothing is intuitive and any file manager apps I tried seemed to NOT support such an idea. For that matter, all the file manager apps seemed to not care that I even had any internal storage Apparently there is no app ever devised by humans that will allow the use of a full keyboard that would including arrow keys, etc. Since Im not interested in extortion ware, Ive had to figure out how to get around such shortcomings. For the amount paid, this is really a lowgrade machine. So far my Windows and Android devices are much superior to this unit in ability, scope, and ease of use. Im going to keep using it just so I can get used to Apple concepts, but my old and dying Samsung Android worked better than this.

I purchase this tablet as a replacement for my Windows laptop. I was a little hesitant about making that transition, but I am very glad that I did. It does take a little bit to get used to the Apple iOS, but there are countless tutorials YouTube videos that can help with any issues. The genuine accessories are very expensive, but there are cost effective third party options for the most popular items. The screen clarity is unreal. You can not see any pixels, and the colors are so intense. The positives definitely outweigh the negatives

I bought this ipad pro initially to remote control my VNC clients. I dont even use other computers anymore. I remote into my office pc, gaming pc, etc. all from the iPad. If you want to take your most powerful computer with you everywhere you go, and dont want to compromise on portability, get this ipad. The 2020 iPad Pro is capable of 95 of traditional desktoplaptop computer tasks. That additional 5 can be replicated by using this iPad as a thin client as mentioned before. pro tip if you get the cellular version, set up a private wireguard VPN to your home. This way your iPad will function as if its on your home network regardless of where you are in the world. Overall SCREEN 8.510 a matte screen would be MUCH nicer. BATTERY 910 Battery lasts nearly my full work day on cellular 67 hours screen on time. PERFORMANCE 1010 I havent found a task that caused this ipad to stutter. I even played No Mans Sky over Steam Link and it felt just as smooth as playing it directly in front of a bare metal PC. USER EXPERIENCE 1010 This one is subjective, but for me this iPad Pro has solved my issue of being tethered to the basement if i wanted to do any work that required power. Now i spend my days upstairs by the livingroom window, and it truly feels like the future.

I cant say enough good words here. This iPad is everything Apple built it up to be and more. Im a 4th year engineering student and the iPad Pro has nearly retired my laptop. The only shortcoming is the magnet for the pencil will not hold it if you are walking around. You need a bag if you keep the magic keyboard attached. I have seen a few case options that will hold the pencil in place and is compatible with the keyboard. Power is out of this world. The battery out lasts my Surface Pro 7. I havent even began to explore all the capabilities of this machine.

First off, I love this tablet. The UI is snappy, and everything just works. I recently switched from a surface pro 7, and have zero regrets. The iPad Pro is everything I hoped it would be. Great applications, multi tasking and intuitive gestures make it a pleasure to use. The USB C port was a huge sell for me. Personally, Im ready to part ways with all lightning cables asap, and this new generation of ipads are making that a possiblity.Ive been an iPad user since the original iPad. As apple pushed to make the tablet more of a computer replacement, I began to wonder if I really needed a laptop and a tablet. It does a lot of what my macbook does, with greater portability and the ease navigation you would expect from iOS.While apple has pushed this device as a tablet replacement, Im not convinced that the iPad pro is ready for this step just yet. The files app is not as capable as that of mac os or windows. I was able to transfer videos from my DJI spark, albeit with some effort figuring out where to transfer to and how. However, I was unable to transfer pictures directly from my nikon d750. It may work with an SD card to USB C dongle, but I have too many dongles as it is and found it easier to simply connect the camera to my macbook pro.Still, the iPad pro is a high quality device that lives up to the apple standard and I highly recommend it anyone looking for a tablet.

OK, a bit of an unfair start, Ive liked Apple products for nearly 30 years, and have owned a whole bunch of stuff over the years. However, Ive bought this iPad Pro with the intention of replacing my ageing iMac for general use and my photographic hobby. Its not a disappointment either, with multicore CPU and GPU, its faster than the iMac a 2013 27 model, and the screen is unbelievably better. The 512GB model matched the SSD storage in my iMac. I use iCloud storage for most stuff now, so thats easily adequate. The real clincher was when Apple released the new iPadOS last year, and now you can attach external drives and devices to the USB port, add things to apps or Files, export and so on, even a Logitech trackball plugged in and just worked.Theres a handful of teething issues Ive yet to work out, but overall I can see this will take over as my only computing device at some point soon.If you are looking for a tablet, its hard to beat the iPads for quality, security and overall user experience.

When Apple released the big iPad Pro version, I was confused because I didnt think anybody would need a bigger iPad Pro. To me, that would be deterrent to its appeal, portability. When they released the latest iPad Pro and the updated pencil and keyboard, I couldnt resist. I have the previous iPad Pro and it was a very good notebook. But the latest iPad Pro has even better picture, camera and faster. And its a beautiful product, which Apple is always known for. Some people miss the touch button but I have iPhone 11 Pro Max, so I am used to not having that button anymore. For me, more screen is better. And what a screen this is. Apple advertises that this device is faster than your computer and I believe it is. Everything is brighter, more colorful and faster. Yes, its heavy and more awkward to carry, but thats the price to pay for getting a bigger screen and more powerful device. Its like a computer especially if you also get their magic keyboard. I opted for Smart Keyboard instead, not because of the price, but because of portability. Magic keyboard is a full size keyboard with trackpad and its pretty heavy. Smart Keyboard folio, on the other hand, is basically a keyboard that is double as a cover for the front and back of the iPad. I also invested on Apple Pencil, which I havent used much but convinced myself to get one, just in case I need one. Do I need a bigger iPad Pro Probably not, but I have to say, I am really loving this device. Its a well made small computer that will last a long time.

Was hesitant before buying this but I dont regret my decision at all. Such a well made product. So well built. Typical Apple quality. Lidar sensor is bonkers and so are the cameras. It is definitely a great investment. Sound quality is surreal. It is as good as my samsung TV. The screen is also treated with some AR coating which reduces glare and reflection when used outside or during the night. Will highly recommend.

Originally got this 12.9 PRO latest gen as an upgrade to an iPAD PRO 10.5 2018 and I love this tablet. I have decided to keep my 10.5 anyway so it has become a 2nd system for me, viewing movies on the 12.9 is really awesome. It has a much smaller footprint than the old 12.9 because Apple has incorporated the home button onto the screen. For those who are used to having a manual home button rather than a virtual home button, dont let that minor thing deter you. You wont even notice the difference. However, you will notice how much larger real estate your screen will have VS the old version of 12.9 PRO. Also the tablet itself is slightly smaller than the old 12.9, go figure. The screen displays a sharp image, the audio is much more superior on the PRO models than the other Apple models. It weighs only 1.41 ounces so its not that heavy, it is still very much portable. Side note, when I bought my 10.5, I had previously been using a laptop for all my home business online banking, shopping, financials, movie viewing, etc. and since I got my 10.5 PRO, I have not had a need to even have a laptop, no kidding. Highly recommend the new 12.9 PRO and the Magic Keyboard. Yes they are pricey, but worth every penny and you will be glad you splurged on this tablet.

Overall The newest generation of 12.9 iPad Pro is a great device for a very specific group of customers. However, the cost is very high for what it is for most people. The stylus is 130 and the best keyboard is 350 raising the base price even higher. For the money, for most people including students, I would stick with the iPad air or just the iPad, both of which offer you almost identical interface options with an arguably better biometric unlock, i.e. touch id and they are as fast at most basic tasks like web browsing, notetaking, watching videos, etc.. Which is what the majority of people want an iPad for.SCREEN the screen is great with nice colors, however, even in this newer edition, there is no competition when compared to the AMOLED screens used by other competing tablets, which offer much better blacks and hdr colors. I would hope for the exorbitant cost they would include the best screen type fingers crossed for microled in the future.Battery Life During constant use Netflix, web browsing, and light picture editing, I averaged around 7 hours of use with no powersaving features turned on. So I would say it is very reasonable for battery life.POWER The power of the device is very high for video editing and software editing with specific apps. However, for other uses, the software is a major limitation. For instance, if you are trying to compress video files, the apps that can handle that do not effectively use the hardware on the iPad. I found my i5 Macbook Pro from 2016 was multitudes faster using a desktop application for the exact same file. So overall though it is claimed that the Ipad pro is as powerful as most laptops the HUGE amendment to that statement is if you use very specific applications for very specific tasks. The software limitations depending on your use will still make this a nonstarter for more professional applications.DRAWING Using the stylus is hands down an awesome experience, in the hands of a real artist they could create wonderful things with it. The stylus is easy to use and I love the fact that it charges on the side of the device, and it stays on the side which I thought was by far the largest weakness of the gen 1 stylus.FEEL The device is light in your hands and is comfortable to use. The build quality is very nice and does not feel cheap at all. The touch screen is intuitive and nice. Though the taskbar on the bottom takes getting used to in order to summon it when you want it.

Im a freshman in high school and needed a smaller laptop since my Alienware one was too big. I take an AP Human geo course as well as a few honors classes so I have to have to use various sources and apps which are more useful on an ipad than a regular pc such as the notes app that apple provides for free. I needed something lightweight that wouldnt take up too much room in my backpack and this was honestly perfect. Using the apple pencil, Im able to complete virtual mapping labs without using too much paper and even use the splitscreen view to help with other assignments all at once. I bought the magic keyboard and it has also helped a lot which does make typing really easy and quick unlike the school chromebooks for example They lag a lot and the screen is small. The ipads screen size is overall great in my preference, because I personally think that if youre trying to draw or watch videos and need something to see clearly enough, this is very useful to not strain your eyes as much. Ive seen someone in my class with the 11 in. except it really does look small. The 12 in. is big, but not as big as as one of those huge HP laptops that a lot of students like to use. If you dont need to use heavy software, the ipad is a good choice. Some things I really like about it are 1. Its easy to get used to, 2. Using it with the apple pencil and magic keyboard makes it very versatile and handy, 3. The screen is wide and long the display is really nice, 4. If you use chrome instead of safari, it feels more like a laptop, and 5. Its reallly good to watch movies on because the sound is top notch.A downside would most likely be the overwhelming price of it all because the ipad itself is already expensive. This can definitely be a laptop replacement so thats why I prefer using it. But another downside is that theres no headphone jack You can buy one for 9 on amazon or the amazon store which is inperson, though. Hope this was a bit helpful. I added in a photo with what I use the apple pencil for

I am an Android obsesionado however I purchased an iPad Pro for my granddaughter and am quite impressed. However, indicating that the battery lasts all day is overstepping the ratings a tad or does sitting on a shelf all day count Her iPad went from 60 to 30 in less than 30 minutes doing whatever she does show this is not a ding on the review Im just recommending bring your cord with you. In fact purchase an extra long one cuz these are too short. Other than that fantastic photography and video are at hand, fast response for graphics intense programs like Photoshop, PROcreate and the like. This revision of the iPad is very responsive and is a prime example of how well iOS devices should work. The 3d scanner isnt quite high enough for fine detail if you are in a creative industry. Dont expect much if you scan anything that isnt room scale. I am using some 3d modeling apps and it is quite snappy with this hardware. I enjoying the speed in the painting programs as well. Battery seems to last about 6 hours on continuous use in graphics intensive apps. All in all, Id recommend it to any artists looking for portable creativity. Remember to purchase an ipencil and a protective case that can angle if you want to get best experience.

This is a great iPad It downloads data really fast, and the apps open up super quick. The screen is really big for a tablet, and provides great resolution and color There are 4 speakers that give you great sound when listening to various apps or other data even music. Keeping in mind its not a stereo. Its also very light, and the shape makes it easy to handle and hold on to. I bought it with the Magic Keyboard, and the two work great togetherThe only reason I didnt give it a 5, is because when I connect it to my iMac which runs High Sierra getting a new iMac soon it will not allow me to sync and download photos off of it. It will allow you to access photos off of the iCloud, but thats it. I did it, and it gave me old photos that I barely look at. Newer photos 23 years ago are not accessible. Even photos that I recently took with my iPhone dont appear. I guess I need to contact Apple. Maybe Im doing something wrong.Regardless, I think you will be very happy with it. It really is like having a small computer at your fingertips.

Biased review Notes To be completely transparent, I am mostly antiApple products. I believe most Apple products are so overpriced and lack customization. With that being said, please note that I am reviewing this pretty harshly. Overall Rating 5 Tech level Extremely comfortable with tech with heavy daily professional usage Coding, IT, Design, Graphic Design, Marketing Overview As stated above, I dislike most Apple products. I really wanted to hate this, and while I do hate some aspects of it, mainly lack of customization and underutilization of screen size, the overall experience was great. When first acquiring the device, using iOS on an iPad was underwhelming. Since then, Apple has released iPadOS and that has greatly improved the experience. While it does still have some bugs and issues, it is vastly improved. Working on the iPad is much more enjoyable and so smooth. I use a lot of editing, graphic design, and office apps and most work amazingly well. The first generation iPad pro would heat up fairly quickly, which is why I returned it. I have not had any issues with this one. Overall, it is a really great product as much as it pains me to say.Recommend 100

Im keeping my last iPad a smaller one for portability and this one for the size that feels like an 8 12 x 11 sheet of paper. In fact, I watch YouTube or read an eBook about how to draw using Procreate on many old one, while I practice the skill on my new one. It will take effort, with my drawing skills, but I think this is the best combo for learning a lot faster and easier. The camera is really good, but who wants to hold something this big to take pictures and video. I bought a tripod mount, as I can see that as viable.Bottom line if portability is high on your list, opt for the smaller one. But, if you want the size screen that practically begs you to create, you cant go wrong with this one.
