The AirPods are great. No problem with them thankfully. It took a bit of experimenting to find the right tips, one still has a tendency to fall out more than the other. They have been so helpful for coping with sensory issues with noise from neighbours. There comes a time of day when I’m fatiguing and they help me not got overwhelmed by external noises. So the noise cancelling is pretty good. I used to rely on Bose over ear noise cancelling headphones but since I started wearing glasses they press on the arms and don’t seal properly (and make my head ache pressing for any length of time. So going to AirPods has been brilliant for noise cancelling with glasses or sunglasses. The spacial audio is strange to start with – it’s as if you have people talking to you and as you turn away they are louder in the other ear. It’s very neat bit of tech. This is not a cheap product and had these had been for a gift I’d have returned them as the box was clearly not in new condition. It was damaged before it was packed not on delivery. I decided to keep them as the box doesn’t matter to me but I wasn’t impressed to spend all that money on earbuds and find evidence they haven’t been treated with care. If I’d noticed any technical issues I’d have still returned them but the box seems to be only thing that was damaged. Charging is very quick in the charging station/box, I’m pressed with that. It makes up for a relatively short period of use before the AirPods run out of charge. No problems with connectivity and they are easy to pop in a pocket to use when I need or to charge the AirPods. Very neat and lovely feel in the hand too. All curves and smooth. So no damage to my pocket or hand. 6 people found this helpful

I bought these beauties on Black Friday sale and saved myself around £50! Like all Apple products they are often thought dubiously expensive – but the build quality and sophistication is well worth the extra cash. These AirPods are no exception. The sound fidelity is outstanding. I’ve just been listening to some John Coltrane and if I close my eyes I might be sitting in a smoke-filled jazz club in New York! There are several special features, like Spatial Audio and head-tracking. They work fine and, I think, add to the quality. The noise reduction is simply amazing. I switched out the silicone tips for the larger ones and they create a complete seal. But then you switch to transparency mode and it hardly feels like you have the AirPods in your ears. Yes, they’re expensive. But – YES – they’re worth it. 7 people found this helpful

I’ve been using the AirPods Pro 2 for a few weeks now, and I’m blown away by the improvements Apple has made. As a long-time AirPods fan, I was excited to see what the new Pro 2 model had to offer, and I can confidently say that it’s a game-changer. First and foremost, the sound quality is phenomenal. The new drivers deliver a richer, more detailed sound with improved bass response. The spatial audio feature is also incredibly impressive, allowing me to pinpoint the source of sounds in my music and videos with uncanny accuracy. But it’s not just the sound quality that’s improved – the noise cancellation is also significantly better. The Pro 2 model uses a new adaptive noise cancellation system that can detect and adjust to different types of noise in real-time, making it much more effective at blocking out distractions. One of the biggest surprises for me was the battery life. Apple claims that the Pro 2 model has up to 5 hours of listening time on a single charge, but in my experience, I’ve gotten even longer battery life. I’ve easily gotten through a full day of listening without needing to recharge, and I love that the charging case can give me an extra 24 hours of battery life on the go. The design is also a major improvement over the original AirPods Pro. The new earbuds are more comfortable and fit more securely in my ears, thanks to a new silicone tip design. The charging case is also more compact and easy to carry around. Finally, the new features like active noise cancellation and spatial audio are incredibly useful. The ability to customize my noise cancellation settings and adjust the sound to my liking is a major plus. Overall, I’m thoroughly impressed with the AirPods Pro 2. If you’re an audiophile or just looking for a reliable and convenient pair of wireless earbuds, these are definitely worth considering. They’re not cheap, but they’re worth every penny. Pros: Phenomenal sound quality with improved bass response Exceptional noise cancellation with adaptive noise cancellation system Longer battery life than previous models More comfortable design with new silicone tips Customizable noise cancellation settings Cons: None significant enough to mention Recommendation: If you’re in the market for a high-quality pair of wireless earbuds, I highly recommend the AirPods Pro 2. They’re an investment, but they’re worth every penny. Whether you’re an audiophile or just looking for a reliable and convenient pair of earbuds, these are definitely worth considering. 62 people found this helpful

I have a lot of headphones and ear buds. In the scheme of things these are great. Great synchronisation with other Apple products. Sound is very good – comparable to my Bose QC ii buds. Does all the Spatial Audio and head tracking stuff (meh for audio, good for watching movies on an iPad IMO). Noise cancelling is a smidge off my Bose buds but very good for an earbud. Light and comfortable although I prefer to swap the bundled silicone tips with memory foam tips as, in my case, they stay in better and enhance the bass. Battery life is standard for this type of earbud. A big advance on the AirPods Pro v1. 3 people found this helpful

I’m new to Apple products, at least since 2007 when I had probably a 6th generation iPod classic. I’ve had an iPhone for the first time and had it less than a month, but I’d heard good things about these headphones. I’ve watched many reviews, read many reviews, and spent a lot of time thinking about whether I want to replace my PowerBeats Pro and my Bose QC35ii headphones simultaneously. The Airpod Pro 2 would then become my catch-all headphones for everything – travel, working out, and so on. That and my wife, who hates in-ear headphones, has been eyeing up my Bose headphones ever since she tried them on a plane a year ago. I pulled the trigger on these, as you have probably guessed, to compliment my shiny new iPhone and I’m glad I did. The combination of Lossless audio for Apple Music and the audio clarity these Airpods provide is insane. I’m hearing things in tracks I’ve listened to for 20+ years that I’d never heard before. The presence is phenomenal. There isn’t an overabundance of bass, everything hits just right, in my opinion. Next up, extra features you don’t get with similarly priced headphones of this style: Gesture control is not something I ever really plan on using generally, however, with these, something about it just makes it feel normal. Slide up and down to adjust the volume. Press once to pause or play, and hold the press to cycle through different noise control settings. Speaking of noise control, I use transparency mode when I’m out and about walking so I’m also aware of my surroundings. It’s quite surreal actually, it’s almost like you don’t have headphones in and it’s just music following you around. I use adaptive sometimes, but I’m not quite sure how that one works properly. I’d use the full noise cancellation in loud spaces, it does an amazing job, maybe even better than the Bose headphones. Add these to what is probably more of a gimmick than anything, but the motion-tracked “spatial stereo” – which while I feel is a gimmick, is a gimmick I love – just adds an extra layer, especially on top of transparency mode. You can be sitting there, hearing a lot of your surroundings, and when turning your head, it’s like you’re turning away from the source of the music – the only thing a little jarring with this, is that the source is always in front of you, no matter what. If you turn around, it’s still there in front of you, which feels a little unnatural. Call quality is a bit iffy in my opinion, on both the receiving of the call and what the caller hears. I’ve read something about noise isolation and there being some kind of setting to improve this, I may have to have a look into this. Overall it works well enough when in a quiet room, but outside I just get complaints of not being able to hear me. Still, it’s a step above anything I’ve had before where calls were nigh on impossible to the point I wouldn’t even attempt because I knew it’d immediately start with complaints. Battery life seems good enough, but I’m hammering it with the spatial audio and transparency modes instead of having them off. I’m not getting the 6 hours from this, I’m more likely to get about 3-4 hours. I’ve had them on for a couple of hours as I speak and they are at 56%. I could see them lasting close to or maybe more than 6 should I turn these features off. The case is good enough – I don’t know if the lid is strong enough to withstand being on a lanyard that might get chucked around a bit. I don’t plan on keeping mine this way but I did get a cover to protect the case. I’m genuinely considering getting a lockable one to be on the safe side. The case also being MagSafe and having wireless charging is great – it charges pretty quickly, and charges to the Airpods themselves quickly too. Would I recommend these? At the risk of sounding like an Apple fanatic (I’m not, I don’t get along with Macs and plan on sticking with Garmin for my watches), I would absolutely recommend these. 23 people found this helpful

The Apple AirPods Pro 2 are a significant upgrade from their predecessor, with several standout features that make them a top choice for wireless earbuds, though they fall just short of perfection. What I Loved: Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): The ANC on the AirPods Pro 2 is superb. It effectively blocks out background noise, making them ideal for busy environments or commutes. The improvement over the first-generation AirPods Pro is noticeable. Transparency Mode: Apple’s Transparency Mode is second to none, allowing you to seamlessly hear your surroundings without needing to remove the earbuds. It’s perfect for quick conversations or staying aware in public spaces. Personalized Spatial Audio: The addition of personalized spatial audio is impressive. It creates a rich, immersive sound experience tailored to your ear shape, especially when listening to Apple Music or watching supported content. H2 Chip and High-Fidelity Sound: The H2 chip delivers exceptional sound quality with deeper bass, clear mids, and crisp highs. It also ensures a reliable Bluetooth connection and low latency. USB-C Charging: The switch to USB-C charging is a welcome change, making it easier to charge alongside other modern devices. The case also retains wireless charging support, adding versatility. Where They Could Improve: Fit and Comfort: While the AirPods Pro 2 include multiple ear tip sizes, the fit might not be ideal for everyone, especially during prolonged use. They can feel slightly uncomfortable over time. Price Point: At their premium price, they’re an investment. For some, the cost might feel steep, especially with competitors offering similar features at lower prices. Battery Life: While the battery life is decent (around 6 hours per charge and 30 hours with the case), it could be better. Competing earbuds are starting to offer longer listening times. 25 people found this helpful

I am a truck driver and do a lot of long distant driving at night. These are a life saver as i spend a lot of time on the phone and cannot really on the trucks Bluetooth simply because not all the trucks have the feature. The noise cancellation is a God send because of the constant wind noise on the motorways, for me as well as the people I’m on the phone with. On windy days, having the noise cancellation is also a huge help as it takes away a lot of the scary element of the conditions. It’s apple product so of course the quality is top notch and the battery life still amazes me. These were an upgrade as well as a replacement pair and they connect seamlessly. They are super light and comfortable that I even use them when i go to sleep when the kids are at home and that trusty noise cancellation drowns out the noise from the kids playing in the room next door.
