So I had a JBL Boombox and it was just to powerful and the bass was too much for quieter listening. I decided to get this as a speaker for a quieter listening experience but still have a bit of bass when it is needed. The speaker is ok… listening to acoustic stuff and similar it’s fine. Even some drum and bass sounds punchy on it if the track has been produced properly however if you turn it up to get a decent listening experience the speaker really starts to struggle in certain genres. The bass just isn’t tight higher up the volume range and it starts to lack clarity. It’s fine because I do not listen to music full volume most of the time but this speaker doesn’t sound great when it’s one of them days and I’m in the mood to crank my music up. I have heard some Gadget Tree speakers with better capabilities than this and I regret my purchase sometimes and wish I got the model up as I feel that may be the sweet spot to listen to it loud without it struggling. 8 people found this helpful

I bought this specifically to display Live View for my Ring doorbell. With a little help from a YouTube video I linked Alexa to Ring and the thing works like a dream: when the doorbell is pressed, I get a full screen view of who is in front of the camera. On my setup, it happens within a couple of seconds. I have shuttered the camera on the Show for privacy, and I have switched off the microphone for the same reason. It’s easy to turn the microphone on with a switch at the top if I want to use the Alexa feature. That seems to work too but I doubt I will use it that often. The sound quality is very good so asking Alexa to play music might be a future use for me. Overall, I am very happy so far. Oh, I also bought one of the stands for it. Again, that works well. 35 people found this helpful

So I’d decided to upgrade from the iPad 9th Generation to the 10th mainly because I really loved the pink and I’d got a grey one that I hated (
) but still I’m so glad that I did upgrade because not only does the pink look absolutely beautiful but also there’s a significant improvement in a wide range of elements such as the camera, visual and audio quality which makes it well worth the money. The screen quality is fantastic and super high definition which makes watching videos a great experience, the speakers sound crystal clear even at loud volumes making it an ideal device for streaming music without the necessary need for a bluetooth speaker, the system runs so smoothly and responds fast with no lag, freezing or crashing, plus the photos and videos both look significantly better quality than the previous iPad models. It’s compatible with all the Apple pencils and has a magnetic part on the side which the pencil connects to, I have the 1st gen pencil and even though it requires a slightly different connection procedure, it still works fantastic and fluently with no issues. The battery life is brilliant and a full charge seems to last me up to a full day or even beyond depending on how much I’m using it, it charges up pretty fast and doesn’t drain quickly unlike my 9th gen which I was convinced had battery problems from the start! Even though I’d usually get a larger storage size than 64gb (I didn’t want to fork out a ton more money on a 256gb model as I have a Mac and iPhone), I’ve still got all the apps I want on it along with all my videos, notes, photos etc with plenty of storage left, plus I try to use my devices for different purposes so I don’t need all the apps that I’ve got on my phone that I take out with me on my iPad which I always leave at home. Even though it’s smaller in size than my 9th gen model, it’s got a much wider screen which graciously makes up for the small decrease in its physical size, plus it’s been much more ideal for me to use with ease because even though I obviously want something that’s bigger than my small iPhone 13, I have small hands so I don’t want to feel uncomfortable struggling to hold a massive tablet, especially whilst in bed, but this has been the perfect size for me. I also really like that this iPad has a rounder shape with smooth edges which just makes it even more comfortable to hold and I think it makes its whole appearance look a lot nicer too, especially with a case on. It’s such a premium, strong, durable build even though I think it feels a lot lighter than previous iPads and you can really both see and feel the quality, making its price tag very justifiable. This is the first iPad I believe which has a USB C charger rather than a lightning one and it also doesn’t have a home button which has been a little strange for me and took a bit of getting used to (along with remembering what each of the side buttons do and where they’re located as I’m pretty sure they’re also different to the previous models and I kept mixing up which buttons turns the volume up and down!) but it’s not really been a big issue at all for me and it means the screen gets to be bigger which is the most important part so I can’t complain! I definitely feel like I’ve still got a lot more to discover as I haven’t had the iPad too long but I’ve covered the most important parts of the iPad, it has lots of fantastic, new features and abilities (including the Touch ID now being on the power button rather than the home button!) and it’s just so much fun to use whether it’s for gaming or just general social media, online shopping, TikTok and YouTube like me. It’s a brilliant model that’s well worth buying, I bought it for £309 which is a lot for a 2022 model however it seems to be the same price (if not cheaper) brand new from other retailers like John Lewis, Curry’s, Very etc and not an awful lot cheaper on eBay, even to buy second hand so it was definitely still worth buying off here as I have Prime membership and always feel covered if there’s any issues or I need to return the item. I received it the following evening after I’d purchased it from DPD rather than the Gadget Tree delivery van but still it arrived safely with no damage and the product worked perfectly so that wasn’t a problem at all as I’ve had multiple Gadget Tree deliveries arrive from other delivery companies. I’d 100% recommend this as both an upgrade or a first iPad as it’s just an overall fantastic model and a huge refresh from the previous models which never seemed to be too different from one another! I’m very happy with my purchase and I’m sure even if Apple released an 11th gen I wouldn’t want to upgrade as I’m in love with both how it looks and how it works!

Lovely addition to our kitchen. Display screen and sound are both awesome. Very easy to set up all except for connecting it to ring doorbell. It keeps coming up with an error message when in the app. I have tried sooo many times! If anything one would like to offer help, I would very much appreciate it
