Mainly I use the unit for on course GPS, good points are accurate GPS, quality readable screen, long battery life (2 rounds easily), pin pointer that shows hole direction when you cannot see it. Unfortunately there are some very bad design points too most importantly, since the screen is smallish 3.5 inches you NEED to be able to zoom in and move around the hole to see whats going on, you can’t, there is a zoom for the green (which is so zoomed it misses surrounding bunkers) and a limited zoom for the rest, you cannot just zoom the section you want – most of the time you are looking at a screen where the bunkers are a few pixels wide, the fairway is a 1cm wide strip in the middle of the screen and most of the screen is BLANK … they could fix it with an update I guess, hope they do ! Also on the negative side, scoring … why is there not a button on screen to add a shot, so I can keep track ? (its probably because the designers are great players and never take 5 shots to get to the green …) The launch monitor – somewhat useful to see the club and ball speed, but on the range the distances stated are way off (too low by 30-40 yards). Honestly seems more a gimmick for most golfers not very useful. So all together, I would not pay full price for it, I got mine second hand at nearly half price, for that price its not a bad buy. This product is excellent for any golfer who wants to improve your game. All the features work and it’s exactly what it sets out to be. Simple to use. No fuss. Next best item would be a proper Trackman and they cost a fortune. It’s not perfect but it’s pretty close, and for anyone especially single handicap golfers who want to improve I couldn’t recommend this highly enough. One person found this helpful
