It works as advertised once you figure it out. It is a useful device for those who dread taking notes.

Good sound quality for the recordings and adequate editing software. Records to mp3 format which my previous recorder did not.

I replaced a previous Sony pcm with this model. The quality is excellent but the difference is that it is far more user friendly, smaller, lighter and more versatile. Quality excellent. I love its flexibility in different situations. Highly recommended

This recorder is wonderful. I use it to dictate the documentation and i transcribe it very easily using dragon dictate. It is very user friendly.

Works as expected. Slim profile enables it to go unnoticed in a short pocket. Playback is crystal clear.

Perfect gift for nursing students. My husband was in nursing school and he used this to record his lectures.

I ordered online and was told it was Mac Compatible. Unfortunately its windows only. It works perfectly, just not with Mac.

Is a very good recorder, but I wish it had moire alternatives to charge the battery and to connect to a computer since the USB port seems fragile. Also its a little complicated for senior citizens to use. I bought it for an old timer who likes to record oldies radio stations shows.

Good quality very easy to use best feature is the expandable memory slot good battery life very easy to transfer to PC with the inbuilt USB which also charges. Easy to edit, Sony software available for free to use

The size is very practical and appealing. Build quality is good for size. There is a wrist strap slot, but it is too small for any strap currently available, and Sony does not make one. Useful idea, but disappointing to have to look for alternatives.
