Scale description is misleading as it doesnt show any BMI. Maybe it depends on which FitBit you have. The Bluetooth also keeps disconnection on the scale. I have to reset this in the app every time I wanna use it. I returned this scale, but Target refunded me and let me keep it. Even they know its garbage Im giving two stars because I like the design and the bright LED light.
Momm –
Scale is sleek looking, low profile, and appears to be accurate using medical scale to compare to. It wakes quickly upon stepping onto it and gives a reading within a matter of milliseconds. Upon first pairing the scale, it connected to the fitbit app with no problem. Second, third, and fourth times using the scale over a course of 2 weeks, the bluetooth failed to pair to phone. After 2 weeks, with no real explanation, the bluetooth has functioned properly. According to reviews this lack of bluetooth connectivity is a known problem with this scale. As of right now, it is connecting as it is supposed to and logging my weigh ins on my Fitbit app. Time will tell if the connectivity issues return.
Leti –
It has its flaws. Sometimes I have to remove and put the batteries back for it to work. Or stays on so I have to remove the batteries… other than that it works perfectly with my app. I wouldnt recommend for the price it is.
Tickleman –
Being a long time fitness addict I purchased the Fitbit Iconic watch to track my daily progress. After deciding I needed a better way to track my weight I purchased the Aria. Has been a good tool to keep me on the right track.Easy to setup and consistent.
Diane –
I am really enjoying this scale. It is very accurate and easily connects with my weight loss app by Bluetooth. Up and running in about 1 minute.

Fitbit dominates the fitness market for a reason, and this scale reflects the sleek, elegant design of their products. Fitbits goal of being ingenious yet accessible is much better realized with the Aria Air scale 2019 than the older Aria 2 2018. This scale is light, low profile, compact, and boasts a bright backlit display. There is a strong tempered glass finish on top and an overall minimal design. It pairs with the Fitbit app to provide a visual record of your weight over time, which was actually more motivating than I thought it would be. Even if this is your only Fitbit product, like it is with me, the technology puts it a bit ahead of other scales in the everbroadening designer scale market. There are essentially no directions, other than downloading the app. You have to dig into the app a bit to find the option to pair a scale, make sure your Bluetooth is on, then step on the scale. If all goes well, which it usually does, a screen pops up showing your weight. It doesnt automatically save your weight, so be sure to tap the save button in the top right corner of your device screen, which isnt obvious at first. This scale doesnt do body composition measurements, like body fat or body water percentages. You can tell such scales as there will typically be conductor pads on the scale surface to send a bit of electricity through you. This is unfortunate, as this is a capability even much cheaper offbrand scales often have. Note that BMI, which is mentioned in the description of this product, is just a persons weight in kilograms divided by his or her height in meters squared. So someone with a lot of body fat could have the same BMI as a weight lifter. I have never seen the BMI measurement, and the app has never asked for my height. This scale also doesnt pair with wifi, which necessitates your having to have the app and Bluetooth on to catch your readings. Personally I consider this an advantage over the older Aria 2 which was wifi based, as apparently the Aria 2 was very difficult to set up and my only wifi is from my phone as a hotspot. The scale uses three included AAA batteries, which is also unfortunate as nowadays it should have its own rechargeable power. You may have some difficulty finding this item in the store. Its not with the other scales, but buried in the electronics department behind locked glass with other Fitbit products. I recommend buying online anyway as the one I first bought in the store had the directions for the Aria 2, and I could not get it paired with my phone. One last thing. This scale is quite expensive compared to other scales, particularly for not doing body composition, and Ive never seen it on sale. For me it was still worth it.
ScubaSteve74 –
Good concept but would not stay paired to the mobile application. It worked great taking my initial weight but it would unpair immediately and not work again until it was reset and repaired. I am going to just stick with my old scale and save some money. Hopefully you will have better luck and if it works as advertised it will be nice to have.
Technerd –
this is a good bluetooth scale, it logs your weight but it doesnt do BMI like it advertises. its not a True BMI but based off your height and what you should be. i would recommend Withins body
Wendy –
It appears to be accurate but it only synced once and Ive never been able to resync it even after reseting in with the button on the back. It just wont finalize the recognition process. Very disappointing
Pantherfan88 –
Digital bathroom scale. Accurate. Pricey. Can be finicky with the Bluetooth communication. If I could buy it again I would have just bought a regular analog scale for a lot cheaper.
Ace1 –
Hot garbage Dont bother wasting your time on this purchase. First time it synced perfectly and recorded all necessary information, upon use the next morning thr scale can no longer sync or connect to the app. The entire reason youd purchase this particular scale. The fixes given by fit bit do nothing. Will be returning promptly for a full refund and will continue to use an old school scale and manually enter the required info.
NiceScale –
Purchased this for my husband, he loves it. He says it was easy to pair with his Fitbit, it has other used functions it can track info for other person too and it is a nice upgrade from the previous Fitbit scale, which didnt pair as easily. Great price too.
ERuger –
Works exactly as described. I stepped on and it automatically sends info to my fitbitapps. Easy to track and watch your progress. Easy to sync.
Ashley –
Love this scale Its so nice that it syncs right to your fitbit app. Great product for the price. Easy to use.
MamaGumps55 –
ILOVE THIS SCALE The ease to use and the multiple users makes this so great, kind of miss the BMI readings from previous scales but this one has been awesome too.
Narno –
This is a great scale if you just want a basic scale. If you are looking for more information like BMI, muscle mass etc., spend the few extra dollars and get the next scale up.
Rhianna –
So unfortunately I didnt read the write up thoroughly enough to realize that this scale doesnt measure weight and body fat percentage, its measures weight and BMI. BMI is one of the most inaccurate measurements of health due to the fact that it doesnt account for bone mass and muscle mass, so I definitely didnt want a scale that tracks BMI as I lift weights. So I returned it and went with a different brand.
Jimc –
I returned it. I tried several times but I could not get the scale to sync with my phone without going through the start up. I weigh myself in the morning and dont have time to make it work every morning. If they improve that I would purchase again
Teena –
Had to return and exchange 3 times. Do not perform are do what it says. Not able to connect other family members. Doesnt show bmi and the weight scale isnt accurate. I put two scales beside each other the fitbit scale was completely off. Waste of money but cute.
Jess81 –
Not a fan of this scale it didnt seem to be able to keep up with its functionality. You step on and it says thinking, thinking, thinking and takes a long time to process. It also burned thru batteries its supposed to only turn on when you step on it but it was on all the time. I ended up throwing it away.
Jazzy –
Pretty good at times. However, there have been a few times in which it was inaccurate. It gets annoying that sometimes its inaccurate. The setup was pretty easy took about 10 minutes. Its more of the accuracy of the weight that may seem irritating
Jennifer –
We have only had it for a week but so far its working great. Easy to setup on the app, and does what it was purchased for. We replaced an aria 2 with this one. Previous scale we had for 2 years, kept getting an error and the reset didnt fix anything
Paul –
Took a little while to figure out how to set it up for multiple users, but once that was done, its perfect. Looks great. Feels great. Works great.
michael –
Links some of the time. Kind of poor from that stand point. The scale it self is good. Over all it is ok. Value is fair for what you get.
Drew –
This is a great looking scale that works very well. Connecting it to my phone via Bluetooth was easy. Once that was done, its just a matter of opening the app and stepping on the scale and the weight automatically transfers to the app. Reconnecting the phone to the scale is not required each time you use it.The BEST thing about this scale is that the numbers are going DOWN every day. Just kidding. Thats due to my weight loss efforts and not a feature in the scale itself, of courseThe quality of the scale seems very good as well. It registers the weight quickly and transfers the data to the phone quickly.
EddieB25 –
As usual, great service from John Lewis, online order processed and item delivered very quickly. Unfortunately the product, Aria Air scales does not do as it says on the tin. Couldnt pair or sync using bluetooth to the Fitbit App, tried two different devices. Not worth the money and they are on the way back to John Lewis. Bought a less tech set of Salter scales, from John Lewis of course.
javajulien –
This is a fairly standard weight scale. Setup was exceptionally easy and I like that the scale can sync with up to 8 profiles. Compairing this to past scales I have used, the data looks relatively accurate. I would say the only benefit to this scale versus other similarly price digital scales is that this can log directly to your fitbit app, which can be a boon if you find yourself integrated in the fitbit ecosystem. Though the scale only provides your overall weight and calculates your BMI in the app. Considering other scales in this price range can potentially provide more data, this can be a deal breaker.
Christine –
I have owned the previous version of this scale since release and use the Fitbit app. You do not need the Premium version of the app in order to sync your weigh ins I have never paid for the premium version and my records sync seemlessly.I am considering upgrading to this version as the battery life on the first one isnt great.
genyrose222 –
scale is helpful.it worth the money i can set it up with my fitbit app. i recommend going on the scale once a week sometime after waking up right away. not trying to be tmi on this review. real size. the scale automictic update your weight on your fitbit watch and fitbit app.
Grammy –
Im involved in a weight loss program using my home scale. Because I wear a Fitbit, I thought a Fitbit scale would be a time saver. Unfortunately, I discovered the Fitbit scale weighed heavier than my current scale and would have shown a sudden weight gain. For that reason, I returned the scale.
nauticaldoll –
I just purchased this expecting it to be better than the Bluetooth scale I have. Not worth the money. Easy enough to add your weight in manually. Save your money. Hopefully the aria 3 will be more advanced. Coming out, hopefully by summer 2021.
mum52 –
Scale fees nice. The lights are easy on the eyes. The connection needs synced to my phone everytime I use it which is a pain. Now I just enter my weight manually instead if waiting for bluetooth to hook up.
AnandJ –
Excellent scales. Best there is. I had the older Aria which had Fitbit sync issues with WiFi. This is Bluetooth Works all the time and also fine if you dont use Fitbit as a standard alone. Highly recommended
Jencra –
Bought this product and tested all round the house on even flooring and every time a different weight I then decided to test with actual weights and at times scales were up to 1kg out not to mention the digital screen would freeze and would show entire number. If you are serious about monitoring your exact weight then this product is not for you its not consistent and even if you did use the same spot ever say it will stillShow different weights. I ended up sending item back as faulty because it is not fit for purpose.
Anonymous –
Great piece of kit, straight forward to use with my fitbit watch and app. Not sure if its compatible with other apps but great for what I need it.They are quite compact and light compared to other scales I have had previously.
Blondestreak –
I love these scales they are stylish in my new bathroom and give me a very accurate weight reading in stones and pounds just change on the back to what you want the reading to be in they sync to my fitbit app with ease and battery life is good. I love them and they have saved me money going to slimming classes just to get weighed and spur me on to do better. I think the feedback left by other users is unfair as this model is just for an accurate weight its the Aria 2 smart that gives the fat percentage, lean mass and BMI etc although this does work out BMI on the app and you will pay a lot more for just really fat percentage shown on screen 105 cheapest I found I will stick to this thank you. Great scale worth the money. Thank you QVC.
LadyScorpio11 –
Im judging on the look of the Scale because I havent quite figured out HOW TO USE the thing. I didnt realize that I had to sign in somewhere and get technical just to get it to show my weight. I didnt read the descriptions or the descriptions werent entirely clear to the point of what I was buying and how it wouldnt just show me my weight by standing on it.When I feel like tackling the efforts to get it to work then Ill be happy to see whether it gets my weight right. I guess its a wait and see situation going on right now.
Anonymous –
Bought this to sync to my fitbit. Easy to set up and sync. Really nice looking product. Quite costly but I am pleased with the items which automatically records stoned and pounds and body fat. I would recommend to all fitbit users.pleasantly surprised that I havent gained weight during lockdoen.
Mike –
I bought this a few days ago and its been giving me a lot of problems. The instruction to change the scale to kg or lbs doesnt work. Touching that Sensitive button doesnt do anything. Stepping to measure my weight means I sometimes get it in stones or kgs. And the sync to the app doesnt work.
damien –
price is very reasonable. it pairs up very easily via Bluetooth to your phone and fitbit app. only complaint is somehow it doesnt always display your weight in pounds, i switched on me one time and i cant fix it
psychotics –
Bought this to use for me while my wife uses the WIFI one and they both are just horrible. The wifi one connects first try then will never connect again because the WIFI one only uses a B network card, way behind on technology. The bluetooth one never connects.
jonshdw –
utter rubbish worse thing ive ever got from QVC these scales are old stock. wish they had said that. do they link to your phone NO first turn on yes as its fresh and battery powered but every day i have to restart my phone to find the scales and record my weight everyday what info do you get from the scales JUST WEIGHT thats it
Lori –
So far so good. I compared it to my old scale and it was about 1 pound off. No big deal. It was easy to add the device to my Fitbit app and it quickly synced. Im excited about having this motivate me to be healthier.
tsunami007 –
There is something going on in the scale that means that when you change your wifi password, the scale may or may not resync. Mine did not. When I called Fitbit they said it was out of warranty and they would not replace it. I asked why they didnt make a scale that could sync beyond the warranty period, or minimally why they dont alert buyers that it may just stop syncing after a few years…no answer. DO NOT BUY
KayH –
Really not a fan of this scale. I like that it links to my Fitbit, but I do not feel that the weights are accurate. I can move it on plain surface from one spot to another and get some really off weights. Maybe I got a defective one.
crazypickleladyfromtexas –
This scale is great for those who use Fitbit watches it synced up easily. My other issue is that the button to change the weight lbkgetc is poorly located so be careful when handling.
Alan –
Pros Simple to setup, and an attractive piece of kit. The pricing is sensible not too far off a regular, unconnected scale.
Ewan –
Pros It gives you your weight.Cons This is a major step down from the 1st scale fitbit made which was wifi connected and logged your weight and worked out body fat anytime you stepped on it.No bodyfat percentage on this scale and you have to have the app open to log your weight through Bluetooth which is hit and miss, works about half the time.
TorieFlores –
I have both of the scales and I strongly suggest forming the cash for the upgraded one. This does the job of tell you your weight but thats it. It does not save profiles to send to the right accounts you must have the app open for it to send the information too. Which can be annoying. Or if two people have the app open the it will sync to both. While their upgraded model actually saves up to 8 people and gives you the bmi. This does not.
Nick –
For the longest I had been wanting a new scale. Past scales I got were analog and constantly needed to be recalibrated. I chose the Fitbit scale because it automatically connects to my Fitbit app and Fitbit Versa 3 allowing me to track my weight process and get down time my goal weight. Blocka –
Purchased this scale to use with my Fitbit Ionic. I purchased this scale because I read reviews of the more expensive version and people seemed to have trouble setting it up and connecting the wifi. This scale is straight bluetooth and its worked flawlessly simply tracking my weight daily. It was easy to set up And i have had zero issues.
Tuz73 –
Purchased this at the same time as a Fitbit charge 4.The scales are very sleek and packaged well. Set up was very easy via the app and great that there is a button on the back of the scales that toggles between stonespoundsKG.All good so far so why only 3 stars I had assumed that they would give more information than just weight…but that is all they do so not very smart. They link to the Fitbit app great but I could manually enter the details if I wanted.
Orlandosk2 –
Bought this for my wife. It actually replaced my original Fitbit scale that broke. I love the design and ease of use
David –
I bought this online and returned it to my local bestbuy store the very next day. The issue is it doesnt sync to my phone or watch with any consistency. Heres what will most likely happen to you if you purchase. You will be impressed with its look once you take it out of the box. You will find the quick setup guide useless and have to Google how to actually set it up and sync to the fitbit app on your phone or tablet. It will sync with ease the very first time you connect. It will never sync again automatically after that. You will have to keep going into your app settings to force stop the fitbit app for it to sync. You will stand on the scale for way to many minutes before it actually syncs. Dont believe me Google troubleshooting tips and read how many other users have the same issues. I reached out to their customer support who advised me to do the force stop thing each and every time I want it to sync. Or the other option they gave me was to just weigh myself and enter my weight manually in the fitbit app… huh Really I dont know about you all but to me that kinda defeats the purpose of purchasing a smart scale. Ive been doing that for years with my 10 dumb scale which is why I wanted this upgrade. As soon as they told me that, I thanked them and went to return this product. The 2 stars I gave them is only for the nice look of the scale, not for the scales functionality and definitely not for fitbits customer support or service. They are another one of these smoke and mirrors companies that abandon you once you purchase their products. Thankfully my watch syncs with the app or Id return that too I also question the accuracy of this scale. My cheap digital scale and old school dial scale are always giving identical weights. This fitbit was showing 34 lbs more than the other scales and would jump around. For example, youll get 1 weight measured and go back on 2 min later and all of a sudden, youre 10 lbs heavier than you were 2 min ago lol.
KeySmartPro –
This scale definitely is well worth the money paid. It provides me with the ability to track my weight digitally and have a record to review. Information is sent to my phone and stored. Very easy to use.
Jacq –
I contacted FitBit customer service because this scale gives me wildly different readings every time I step on it varying by up to 6lbs It is so bad, I started weighing myself 5 times and take the average. Fitbit Customer Service told me that the Aria is not accurate, and they recommended I buy the Aria2, which is more accurate. Seriously Why would anyone buy a product that the company admits is faulty.
Pottsy199 –
Easy to use and much easier to setup than the old Fitbit scales. Unfortunately only weighs now. I miss the body fat element to the old scale. If you want a basic scale with easy setup and you already use Fitbit then this is a good option.
Runner –
this goes very well if you purchase any activewear devices such as to inspire 2. it can make you accountable on your weight loss journey. it tracks your BMI specifically and throws a little party for you when you reach your goal.
Enews75 –
Not very impressed with this model. It doesnt seem to give body fat percentages like the traditional Aria and you have have the app open and on the weight to save the weighin. Most times I have to restart my phone before it will save.
VCat11 –
Unlike the previous model I had this this scale does not measure body fat, nor does it connect via Wifi. It only connects by Bluetooth, which would be ok if it actually worked more than 30 of the time. I have to either force stop the Fitbit app or restart my phone to ensure a connection. It was also recommended by Fitbit to make sure no other Bluetooth devices are nearby…meaning remove my Fitbit from my wrist, move it out of range, then attempt to weigh in. In short, its just far more difficult to use than any scale should be. Also on two occasions I miraculously lost 10 lbs overnight. I those cases I had to reset the scale itself to get an accurate weight.
Anonymous –
After purchasing this, its made tracking my macros a lot easier. I just open my app and stand on the scale. It automatically updates my weight and the stats along with it. My wife uses it too and it only works when you have the app open so it wont log the weight to the wrong person.
Tim –
Pros Looks goodCons Whenever you switch on it resets to show lbs. In this country it should default to kg, with an option to lb st for the diehards.Worse than that, it doesnt connect to any of my devices. Fitbit helpdesk have been unable to help.
Nate –
Horrible scale. Based on the price, youd expect an accurate reading but it measured me up 20 pounds. And no…I didnt gain 20 from my last reading. I was at the doctors office a week ago and I was still at 180lbs not 200lbs.
Reviewer –
It works exactly as described It is sleek and looks great in my bathroom. Its convienient for weight tracking. It does the bare minimum though, just weight. So do not purchase if you are looking for something more high tech if you are looking to calculate muscle density, hydration, fat , etc..
Anonymous –
Very stylish and well made bathroom scales that sync to your Fitbit. Easy to set up and use. They have a crystal clear read out, with weight to decimal point of both kg and lbs perfect if you are on a diet to be able to see full fractions of weight rather than rounded up or down.
mkboldin –
Disappointed that its not like the previous Aria scale models that automatically synced via WiFi. I rarely carry my phone into the bathroom, and this scale, in order to sync your info requires you to have your phone nearby. Think Ill look into a Withings model unless Fitbit can put out a better quality product
jjmrh –
Way better than the original model The original model would often stay on or the batteries would pop out. When you changed the batteries, it would be troublesome to resync with the app. From what I have been able to notice so far, that is not an issue with this new model. Absolute upgrade.
BeckyR –
Its a good scale but I thought it was on par with my old Fitbit scale I was replacing. It is more like the model that came before my old scale. You have to have your app open and with you when you weigh to be able to save the info and it doesnt do the body fat percentage. I figure that isnt overly accurate on scales anyway so were keeping this mainly due to the price point on better models. Id say its overpriced given what it cant do but its good enough for my needs I dont want to deal with the returnexchange process.
Scale –
This Aria Air Digital Scale is really great. Unlike the 2 scales I bought in the past 2 years, it displays my weight instantly, without waiting for several minutes to process, or shutting off without ever displaying a weight. Its easy to read, and it syncs effortlessly with my Fitbit, making everything so easy. Im so glad I bought it
Heather –
Pros Looks goodCons In the description there should be comments about connectivity. If you have a modern hub its very hard to connect to your Fitbit so you are left with a lovely looking expensive set of scales that do not work as advertised by Fitbit
Areviewer –
It works great as a weighing machine. Also, it was very easy to set up with my Fitbit app. Im not always a big fan of things connecting to my phone, but for some reason I decided to go with this. Now I save TONS OF TIME not having to enter my weight manually on my phone.
Jkn85 –
It will NOT hold a connection to bluetooth no matter what I do. There is basically 0 instructions on how to set up and the reps are utterly useless. If you go to fitbit forums so many people cannot get this scale to sync or stay connected. I will be returning it tomorrow.
Steph –
This scale does not work. You can weigh yourself however Fitbit customer support is well aware the there is no bluetooth functionality it does not link to your phone, their only suggestion was to turn it off and repair, which on this forum countless people have done with zero results. So weigh yourself however you will need to enter your data to the app should you chose to.
Waltons –
I actually returned this product because it doesnt give you your body fat percentage. I am training for a fitness competition and I need to see that information. I am actually going to buy the Aria 2 I am just waiting for more to come in stock. If you arent worried about your body fact BMI than this is a cool purchase. I had no problems setting it up.
Ellloe –
I have been using this scale for nearly a year now and am thoroughly satisfied with my purchase. I love the convenience of having my weight automatically sync onto my app and track my progress. Despite a previous review, you do not need to subscribe to Fitbit Premium at all, I have been using it effortlessly with the free version.
gussvelasco94 –
Straightforward and simple. Digital results right when you set your balance. I keep it my room instead of the bathroom. Also got it in black for easy clean up. Highly recommend it to all.
CarlC –
It seems to be pretty accurate compared to my weight at the doctors office. Connectivity with the Fitbit app is handy for tracking my diet progress.
Marie –
I just bought that weighting scale. There is no user manual provided the only document in the box mentioned that we have to install the app to use the weighting scale particularly the sync feature… thats true that its great to track our progress What a surprise to discover that after a 90 days trial, I will have to pay a huge subscription to continue using it… using that app during one year will cost me more than the weighting scale Price itself This information should be mentioned in the description.
Anonymous –
Very good value for a welldesigned product. Easily syncs to the Fitbit app with a very short time to set up. Dont actually need a Fitbit watch to use it although it helps. My wife just logs the weight after creating a Fitbit account on the app.
Rparungao –
Bought this because I have a Fitbit and tried hard to like the Aria Air. Couldnt do it, price is high, would regularly not synch with my phone, and similar scales at the same price did so much more like tell me body fat, BMI, muscle, water, etc. Can not recommend.
Wispat –
This is a great buy if you dont need lots of additional information besides your weight. It syncs great to your Fitbit and WW apps through Bluetooth. Highly recommend if you want a simple scale that syncs to your phone.
regaming0 –
This scale has some really easy functions. You sync it to your phone through the app, has a button in the back to change the measurement type. And thats it. Once set up you just step on and once the reading stops it syncs to the app the moment you open it and inputs the values…thats it. Its basically a normal scale but with the Bluetooth function to send the readings to your smartphone. And apparently it can pair up to devices. So see for yourself if its worth it for the price its being sold…
Laura –
Pros You cant cheat with them and it shows you your progress on a chart so you can keep track of your weight and it syncs up easy with your phone or device.Cons More colour to choose from like the watches.
Parker –
Replaced another Aria scale that I had for years. Since this uses Blue Tooth rather than Network you have to have your phone nearby and remember to save your readings. I dont find that much of a problem in that I usually have my phone with me and it was significantly cheaper.
Anonymous –
The solid construction and slim design makes for easy storage underneath furniture if floorspace is an issue. It links to the fitbit products and my HP laptop via bluetooth and WiFi.Set up is easy, even for my limited knowledge and the weight reading can be adjusted to suit pounds, ounces and kilograms etc.The surface is wipeclean and can therefore be kept hygienic.
sickofbb –
Out of the box, this scale worked for 3 days. Then all of a sudden it wouldnt sync to my phone. Changed the batteries, reset it several times. Frustrating. Kept telling me it was attached to another account or did not appear at all or could not be found. Finally, after an hour got it to sync again. Well see. Never could get it onto my wifi network. Again…very frustrating.
Anonymous –
Such an easy setup especially if you already use Fitbit products I really like the sleek design and the fact that I can Bluetooth connect it to my fitbit app on my phone to keep track of my weight.
Kempy –
So disappointed with these scales can only weigh in the kitchen on hard surface if I weigh on carpet I lose 3st and whilst thats nice its not accurate. Only see BMI and body fat by logging on to Dashboard cannot seem to get it to show on scales. Would send them back if I could but non returnable So disappointed.
Felix419 –
It is a good scale but does not sync weight to app as advertised. The Bluetooth never connects and weight must be added manually to the app or you have to power off your phone and restart it before using the scale. If your in the market for a scale any other cheap scale out there does the same as this. wAste of money if yiu want it to work as advertised.
brunsong –
Aria Air is a simple scale that links easily to the Fitbit app and calculates your BMI. However, if you want body fat percentage also, be sure you are getting the Aria 2 about 70 more. Based on online reviews, there seems to be a lot of people that get them mixed up and are disappointed with just the Air.
Colin –
Im not sure why Fitbit cant really nail the digital scale. This one doesnt read body fat percentage. The connectivity method is not as intuitive as the original Aria. Overall, I thought I was getting an upgrade and it ended up being a dud.
MdotR –
I dont know why so many reviews made it seem like rocket science to set up… maybe they upgraded the firmware or something, but it was easier to set this up than it was to set up the Fitbit itself. Literally just opened the app, hit the add the device button and I stood on the scale and it worked. Definitely easier to set up than my last scale. Took 30 seconds from unboxing. I was skeptical, but it worked. Weight was on par with my other scale. Looks good. No complaints as of yet… unlike my Fitbit.
Dianne –
Great price for a smart scale. I like this considerably more than my Withings Nokia scale, which cost twice as much. If you are looking to track your weight, the Fitbit system works much better than the Apple iWatch.
Paulrp1 –
This is the Original Aria Air scale, it connects via bluetooth to the fit bit app, on your phone. It integrates into fit bit data, if you have a fit bit, and is said to work well if you do not have a fit bit wearable. By buying this model you save 50.
McBen –
After a couple years of using this scale it stopped shutting off. This meant that every couple days it would burn through its batteries. I contacted their customer support and was told that since the scale was over 365 days old that they would not help. No ability to repair. No offer to replace. No offer to help at all. I originally paid 130 for this scale and now it is basically a brick.I would not reccomend buying and would advise folks that Fitbits customer service is atrocious.

Literally works right out of the box. Connecting to the fitbit app is super simple. Tried stepping on different spots to see if it would record the weight differently but it works 100 regardless of where I stand.
Anonymous –
I love these scales, they look very smart. I love the fact that they give an accurate reading all the time exactly how it should be so say if you weigh 10 stone 4 and a half but your old scales say 10 stone 4 these would give you an accurate reading with a decimal point so 10st 4.6 or whatever you are.I love them for that reason.I havent been able to connect them to my phone yet as seemed a little bit fiddly, I will try again, it makes no difference though as I can just log it in manually
Sammy –
This scale weighs you and thats it. No BMI, body fat etc. Only thing it does is automatically inputs weight on Fitbit app. Skip this and just buy a cheap scale and manual input weight in app.
Benjamin –
I bought these and received them in the post yesterday the box was dented but the scales looked fine and set them up but was shocked how off these are 2 stone out When your spending this much you want a precise weight And the website says it isnt returnable well I have news for them the consumer rights act of 2015 will disagree with you my friend
Tchamander –
Works great. Synced up right away with no issues. Kind of wish this was the aria 2.. But maybe its better I dont know my fat percentage. Staff was great… Smooth purchase
MichelleP –
I have previously had the Fitbit Aria 2 scales, and while they were great scales, getting them set up with wifi was frustrating. These Fitbit Aria Air scales are awesome. They look great, instantly connect to your phone by Bluetooth, and i think theyre great value for money. You do need to have the Fitbit app open when you use them if you want the weight to sync, but after getting into the habit of that, its no problem.
DawnW –
Its a nice looking digital scale that links with Fitbit app. Easy set up. I was expecting it to auto sync to app with no extra steps, but it does not. Now that I know, no big deal.
VirtualWorldtraveler –
After a short learning curve it works great and sends information from the scale directly to your fitbit and your phone if you have the app installed. The future is now
Meagan –
This model was cheaper than the newer one, but the difference was so minimal that I went for this version. Its great, it synchronizes with my phone, and its slim enough that I can slip beneath the cart in my tiny bathroom. No issues yet
WinterSoldierAshley –
I love this scale so much It will usually autoconnect to my app if my cell is on the floor with it. I wouldve given this a five star had it not taken six different tries and over two hours for me to get it set up and connected to my app for the first time.
Sean –
Scale looks great and is easy to set up and use. It integrates very well with the Fitbit app and can be connected to multiple phones. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a smart scale
someguyinTX –
Im guessing it is accurate. It looks nice. Worked fine for the first few days, but since then it rarely if ever connects to the app. Unlike trackers which just sync up and automatically upload the information with this you have to have the app open for it to work, and like I said it rarely does then. I reset it, resynced and all that jazz. Still doesnt like to upload the data.
BillyDPharmD –
This scale was not as user friendly as the first Fitbit scale. This one requires you to have the app opened for it to record the weight for the individual. Didnt give info like body fat.
Bill –
Just doesnt work consistently I bought this scale to use for motivation, to be able to step on it to syncmonitor weight daily to track progress. Who knew every day Id have to resync the scale with my S10 phone, usually requiring me to restart my phone to use for the day. Has not worked for three consecutive days since I bought it. Just not worth the time because my lazy self could just enter my weight daily in the fitbit app. Will return and stay old school.
mrugs –
This scale is very nice to add with your fitbit account. It was easy to setup and works great. It is accurate and keeps your progress up to date. I have no cons to report about this scale.
Mechie –
I love Fitbit aria air bathroom scale in black. I love the features. This scale is very nice and I would buy again. This is the second fitbit I have purchased
PollyKettle –
I own a different model of the Aria and bought this one as a gift for my daughter. It doesnt have the features of the one I have but it serves the purpose of monitoring weight loss. I suppose you get what you pay for and this was half the price, so really quite good value.
BethNL28 –
Does what it says, great for monitoring my weight and bmi on fitbit. Would be great if it had body mass features as well, but understand this is cheaper.Has to go in the kitchen, in one place for accurate reading each time, however this is due to my floor and have this issue with other scales
MartiO –
I have owned 3 of these since January 2015, they tend to last only 18 months, 6 months longer than their warranty. This is the biggest issue with this version, they have a VERY short life span. The other issue with the first edition is the WiFi setup is very clunky and difficult to do. But once set up the convenience of WiFi networking is fantastic.
Anonymous –
Its brilliant, accurate, works great with my Fitbit. I love it and would definitely recommend. I was debating between this one and the aria 2 but there are no features that I feel are missing and so Im glad I opted for this one.
Joe2020 –
I like this Bluetooth scale over the original WiFi based Aria scale. Easier setup. No issues. The other model sometimes had a problem connecting through WiFi and this one is MUCH CHEAPER as well.
DeadDaisies –
I bought this about a month after the Fitbit Inspire HR. This was easy to setup with the Android phone. So far it has synced perfectly no issues. All I do is turn on Bluetooth on the Android phone, open the Fitbit App, select the weight area of the app and step on the scale. Within 5 seconds the phone has the weight displayed, I hit save, and thats it. No problems at all with any aspect of the scale.
FilmGmr89 –
My first Fitbit scale was over double the price I paid for this one. The only downside is I havent located how to have my weight transferred to the Fitbit account without having it open on my phone. That may not be possible with this model, but it was a feature on my previous Fitbit scale.
Beth –
So far I love this scale. Im a very heavy person 396 and its hard to find a smart scale that will properly weigh me, but this one works great Syncs great with the Fitbit app on my iPhone. No more manual inputs Weight loss, here I come
RevP –
I had read so many bad reviews about this product, that I thought I would wait for a major software update. I did not want pay over one hundred dollars for any scale, even Fitbit. I must say this was worth the wait. The scale works perfectly every time. It links to my iPhone instantly. My app updates within seconds. My wife also uses this scale and loves the way it works. I highly recommend the product.
Anonymous –
Fab set of scales. Really easy to set up and connect with the the Fitbit app. Good clear display. Would recommend to anyone.Only downside is I wish they came with more instructions or information on what else they do, but thats easy to find on the app and internet.
mackhey –
Works well with my Fitbit app. It appears to be consistent and accurate. I compared it with another scale of mine and it showed the same exact weight. I like how this one forwards directly to my Fitbit app for easy weight tracking
ekosulli3 –
I like that it measures my weight the same as my Aria 2. I bought it as an extra scale to use at my parents when I visit. Cons I often I have trouble syncing it to the app and therefore often have to manually enter the recorded weight.
evaibanez –
Dont buy this. This scale is crap and doesnt give you accurate weight. I weighed myself 3 times all had at least a 4pound difference each time. And does not automatically sync to your fitbit. Not worth it.
Lennisa –
Unlike the original you have to keep your phone app open for it to sync. And it doesnt give the details like the other one. Each user is responsible to syncing with app open.
Gary –
Pros Stylish straightforward. Looks good in the bathroom. Slim minimalist.Cons The lack of a BMI was a minus but then the previous model was almost twice the cost, so on balance happy.
MD11 –
Scale does not determine body fat like the older model, however, description of device suggests that it does. Very misleading and overpriced for just providing body weight.
metro –
I have had a scale like this for about 5 years and I love it. So when my daughter started her weight loss journey and was using just a regular digital scale I decided to get her this one so she could have it connected to her phone and keep track of her weight loss. She loves it.
JCall –
Aria Air Smart Scale is a compact and stylish design. Its digital display is easy to read. The enclosed instructions are easy to interpret and the scales are easily synchronised with my Fitbit device.
Hoktegirl –
I purchased this item hoping it would help me as I have a fitbit watch. The scale kept giving different weight numbers each time I stepped on the scale. I would step on it and then 1 minute later I would step on it again and I was either 10 or so pounds over or under. I still dont know what my true weight is. So sad I really was hoping for a better outcome.
JohnnyBestbuy –
It links fairly well with the fit bit app. Seems to weigh humans properly. I dont recall any other features that stand out. Was a decent price.
Rick –
This is our second Fitbit scale. This one was cheaper version but I actually like it more. The way you sync gives you more control on posting to your tracking which is more accurate for long term evaluation. It was super easy to setup and use. I got the back one and I like the look better than my previous one.
Carebear –
Pro its less bulky than the previous ones. Its easier to set up. The nice feature it logs you weight if you have the app open making it easier for multiple users.Con its logs your weight and I tend to avoid using it.
raceytoes –
Really pleased with theses scales and the discounted price from Currys . Good quality and the white model fits well in our bathroom. Easy to read display and Bluetooth connection is quick to register in Fitbit app if you wish to log and save. Easy to set up and use, no problems at all so far .
AppleMac –
If you have a fitbit watch to track your progress, this is an absolute musthave. It syncs with your watchapp. Makes it easy for keeping track of how well youre doing.
Maciek –
Pros Work with all fitbit watches This same app. Going crazy over 120kg Cons All idea is fantastic apart of that if you 125kg or more aria going crazy showing crazy weight
DoctorJohn –
Thin, lightweight and accurate. Bluetooth links up with your FitBit. Stays linked for about a minute to allow you to enter the new weight on the App.
callmeageeth –
I know, this scale doesnt use WiFi. And thats fine. I generally have my phone near me, so opening the app while on the scale is no big deal. But Ive found the syncing to be hit and miss. I cant figure out why it works sometimes and not others. Its not a huge deal, because you can manually enter your weight, but that defeats the purpose.I found the battery life to be pretty good, although when I bought my scale, the preinstalled batteries were at 50.The only other thing I wish you were told is updating. I honestly think I stumbled upon it, but you have to download a separate app to update the firmware. I cant tell you what the firmware did however, because it did not improve the syncing function. As just a scale, I can say that it does its job and is very accurate.
Cesar –
I had high hopes for this product. I love the scale modern looks, but unfortunately did not work properly. The weight that the scale show does not match the weight is recorded in the app. Also it did not record the body fat . I had to go with the more expensive one that works over WiFi and not bluetooth.
Kate –
Pros Its pretty and does the job, connects to fitbitCons It only calculates weight, not Body Fat or anything else. Its basically like any other scale that you can get for much cheaper, all it does is save you the 15 seconds it takes to type into fitbit your weight. And sometimes that doesnt even work.
Mosa –
It doesnt live longer, all of a suddent, I got STEP OFF, SENSING, THINKING ERRI did all workaround to try to fix it, and it never work.On top of that, it is very basic, it calculates lean mas, BMI and total weight… It doesnt calculate viceral fat like othe scales. For the price it cost to me, it is not worthy.
Saffjen –
I love these scales. They connected straight to my app and did my weight accurately.Looking forward to using them to record my weight losss.
Mangaki86 –
It doesnt matter what phone you have all you have to do is download the Fitbit app and step on the scale and it sync your weight. Of course you have to have the app open and click on the add weight. It also helps keep track of your calories, what you eat, drink and exercise
GemmaF112 –
Really useful product for keeping track of my weight. I love the way it syncs up with my Fitbit and it is much more accurate than my previous set of scales. Thoroughly recommend.
Anonymous –
Family bought this as an upgrade to an existing WiFibased Aria because we found it difficult to coordinate individual members records. Some members didnt show. By comparison this unit is a breeze. It is easy to set up and each member simply links the scales to the Fitbit app on their mobile phone. The displays in pounds. But the Fitbit app records our preferred setting of kilograms. Highly recommended
Jdomin24 –
If you are looking for something that syncs with your Fitbit app this is great. Its the budget version or lite so you dont get all the stuff you get with the regular one but still it does its job.
bighousewith6kids –
What I like best about this scale is that I dont have to tap on it to turn it on before weighing myself, I just step on and it gives my weight. I like the sleek look of the black. It looks and feels sturdy, not wobbly. It came with batteries so that was a plus. It will sync with your fitbit app but your phone has to be close enough to pick up bluetooth and the app has to be open. You also have to click the save button on the app. Otherwise, you can just manually enter your weight. Shipping was fast too. I thought this was one of those scales that measure BMI but I think it just uses a formula based on your height and weight in the app.
NanaRoze –
Nice, easy to set up. StylishSude note If you have pets be perpared 5to wipe the beautiful glass a few times a day. lol
Anonymous –
Previous model linked to WiFi, and automatically synced with phone, this newer version links by Bluetooth. And phone app needs to be open to registersave a reading. I have not found a way to automatically save.
Tracey –
Cons The scales do not tell the right weight and is well over what my original scales are. I checked this out and found Im not the only one that it has happened to. I really was hoping this could show me but as I said true weight to me is important. I weighed a 5kilo weight and it was above the 5 kilo by 5lb Sending it back
Anthony –
Very accurate scale I havent synced it yet, as I really just needed it to monitor my weight in the mornings, but it is definitely steps above in quality compared to other bathroom scales you can get on the cheapandeasy.
Janice –
If one can love bathroom scales, I love this one It syncs with my FitBit, which I love But even if I didnt have a FitBit, I love this scale because once your weight appears on the scales screen, it stays It doesnt wiggle around, if you wiggle around. And the scales screen is easy to read
Arno –
It works but setting up for two users was very difficult.Directions are pathetic Why are companies getting rid of printed instructions. Its a waste of my time trying to find the instructions on the internet.
bunnymama25 –
This scale is amazing. I love the sleek look of it and how it connects to the fitbit app to keep track of your BMI. Its like your little side kick to manage your weight and staying healthy. Great buy and would recommend to anyone.
BusyBee –
It does not show BMI as advertised, and upon reading other reviews I see other people found the same thing. It does not always sync to the app, sometimes yes, sometimes no. It doesnt seem to stay available to Bluetooth for some reason. At least I can enter my weight manually in the app, but that was not the main attraction of this scale. I bought it specifically because it was supposed to sync to Fitbit.
HarryG –
Once I moved this scale to my other house, it stopped functioning completely. Tried to resolve with FitBit themselves, but they were clueless. It constantly reads 112.6 lbs without anything on it then goes upwards of 600. I weight 185.
tlcrn –
I bought this scale in August of 2015 and set it up promptly. For me, it was not so difficult to set up. It is a very stylish, sleek looking scale. The scale seemed pretty accurate and consistent at measuring weight. However, the body fat measurement is a complete hoax. Not only is it not accurate in the first place, it will give you a different measurement if you step off and step right back on. That has been the case since day 1.About a year ago it started acting finicky. And as of about a month ago it just stopped working. I called Fitbit support and they assured me the scale is not fixable and of course not under warranty. I get that. Im not looking for a free scale. Just a scale that lasts longer than 3.54 years. Its terrible. One more piece of electronic trash cluttering up our earth. So, now I am going to buy a good old regular scale that I can have until I die Definitely not an Aria.
cattail –
Seems to be accurate reading. Occasionally wants to record a pound heavier on the app than what is reading on the scale. Sleek design and very user friendly. Easy to record on my Inspire FitBit.
nettygirl1 –
Wow, I was so looking forward to receiving these scales to record my weight etc with the Fitbit App…what a disappointment The scales only show your weightWhen standing on the scales and they are lit up showing your weight and you can see various icons above and below, non of which are working, therefore, this is no better than a bog standard set of scales.Yes they do connect automatically to the App and transfer your weight and the App then calculates your BMI and thats it, it doesnt tell you your Body Fat percentage, nor water content, body mass etc.Sorry, but whinging their way back to Q, my old scales tell me more and its no hardship entering the information manually. They may suit some people but Im afraid I was expecting so much more from these.
LakshVish –
This scale was easy to set up and syncs directly to my Fitbit app. The screen is very easy to read. I couldnt find any fault so far.The perfect way to keep track of your weight in the Fitbit App. Its also very beautiful and looks great in my bathroom Love it.Awesome scale and easier to use.
JakesMan –
I was really excited to get this scale, but once I got it all out of the box set up…I was disappointed. It has a nice look to it and It is accurate, but it does not do anything extra that my other scale in the guest bathroom does and that was half the price
Jack –
I really like the Bluetooth feature and not having to connect to WiFi. This makes it portable and anyone can use it.Easy to read. It doesnt always sync with the fitbit though.
York81 –
Only had this a few days but so far Im happy with it. Not so much the weight it displays but I cant blame the scale for that Easy to set up and connect to the app and nice bright display.
Anonymous –
If you have a Fitbit and use the app on your mobile or online then these are the scales for you. Very easy and simple to use and 100 accurate. I use them everyday and have never provided me with any issues. Highly recommend
Axtion003 –
Very happy with this scale. Easy to read display and extremely easy pairing with the Fitbit app. The scale works without the app, however the app, of paired with the scale, will record your weight. After you step on the scale the app opens and asked if you want to save your weight reading which also displays in the app as well as on the scale.
Anonymous –
I feel like this product is overrated as well as overpriced. Apart from syncing it to your Fitbit account theres not much you can do with it. It doesnt even show the body fat percentage. Doesnt really do more than a basic scale.
Len –
The Bluetooth connection of this scale is an absolute disaster with this scale. After going through the steps of upgrading the scales software, removing and reinstalling the fitbit software on my tablet, closing and opening the tablets fitbit app, I found it quicker to memorize my weight and update it on the PCs dashboard. This totally defeats the purpose of getting the scale in the first place.I have no problem with the scale itself. It quickly shows the weight and is repeatable. The scales accuracy seams reasonable.
will –
Good Scale. Bought this to go with my Fitbit. Will automatically record your weight to your fitbit app if you are wearing the fitbit when using the scale. However, there were a few incidences where it did not record to my fitbit app. Not sure if its a bug on the software
JayW –
Really nice product. Easy to sync and both slim and stylish. My only minor comment is that you sometimes have to step on it twice or three times to make sure you have the right weight. It tends to be slightly off on the first weight. Also, I accidentally touch the units switch on the back but once you know where it is you can pick it up without touching those buttons. Very satisfied with the product
ppd56 –
Works fine as a digital scale, although body fat is not estimated, despite the impression from the Fitbit App.However, syncing with the Fitbit app can kindly be described as unreliable. This appears to be a known issue on the Fitbit website forums, but is not clear from the product description.Logging a weight manually on the app is easy, and is the way forward to chart progress.A matter of choice then, but if there are cheaper scales available, I dont think the syncing facility would be a reason to pay more for this product.
Dunkirk –
If you have a Fitbit I would recommend this scale, if not, I wouldnt recommend it because youll lose the features youre paying for. Works well for the Fitbit app and tracking your weight is easily tracked through the app.
Anonymous –
So I didnt have to think twice about purchasing the Fitbit scales been a Bluetooth device it syncs up to your phone etc and when you set up a Fitbit account you can track your progress from the privacy of your mobile phone. The quality of the scales are amazing easy to keep clean and not to heavy to move around like others if your a gadget nerd you definitely will enjoy these scales.
Robinson –
This unit works exactly as advertised. You can definitely use this as a regular scale however, the real benefit is the Bluetooth integration for the Fitbit app. Pairing this was extremely easy and very quick. as soon as you take your first weighin and step off the scale as long as the app is open on your phone it reflects immediately. I personally dont care to track things using the Fitbit app however, I actually use Google fit and fittofit app to sync the two systems together so the reading reflects in Google fit too.1. The box says it can calculate BMI but, this gets done within the app alone, not in the scale whereas other more expensive scales can calculate much more and display that in the scale. This however isnt really a huge problem because in most smart scales the other Metrics like bmi and muscle index gets measured using electrical impulses that are sent through the feet and back into the scale. No you dont feel it haha but, what most people dont know is that those readings will vary every single time because your body is made of water and most humans consume water daily meaning that the amount of water in your body will affect the readings on those more expensive scales, at least in my experience.2. This scale on the other hand is pleasing to look at, the display is bright and easy to read, its less expensive, it has app integration if you chose to use it, it supports up to 400lbs, works with multiple users need the app, and of course it will work along side other Fitbit products as well because of the app integration.Overall I love this scale already and Ive only had it for a few hours. Unless you are a avid fitness person and constantly track and regulate what you consume then a scale that calculates more than just weight is not recommended as most people wont even care about the other readings and like I said the results will never be super accurate because again what you consume affects the numbers.Oh btw, the scale is made of glass and plastic and has rubber feet giving this a nice quality and sturdy feel.
Paul1Up –
This is a terrible scale. The bluetooth connectivity for this scale just does not work. Ive had a NokiaWithings WiFi connected scale and that never failed when syncing my weight. This Aria Air just does not sync at all and Ive tried all the troubleshooting methods. This just sucks. Not worth it. Ibwpudl recommend spending a little more to get a scale that connects via WiFi and maybe not a FitBit branded scale. FitBit just seems like they cannot fix any of their syncing issues with all of their devices.
Sillymom –
I bought this for my husband to go with his Fitbit. He really likes it but is having trouble linking the scale to his phone so that everything is connected. He went online for help, but I dont know if that helped. Need to find out if there is a customer service phone number. Its still new, so we will wait and see if he can get connected.
Louise –
Pros These are the most accurate scales Ive ever owned. Easy to use, pairs quickly to the Fitbit app.Delivered swiftly. Great service. Thanks.
Mark –
Finally replaced some old electronic scales with the Fitbit Aria arrived promptly from MightyApe even during lockdown, setup and worked flawlessy from the start. Fitbit doesnt natively support Apple Health integration but a quick install of IFTTT and a FitbitApple Health plugin and Im away laughing.
seenbutnotheard123 –
The first 3 times I weighed myself everything worked great… apart from the result, which was my fault as i like food to much But my scale synced with my phone 4th time…….im not sure if its just given up secretly laughing at my results But I cant get it to sync with my phone. Im having to type my results in manually which doesnt feel very smart Ive tried resetting, but to me these are just an expensive set of digital scales
Kittekai2 –
I absolutely love this scale. It syncs directly to my Fitbit app on my phone so there is no entering manually anymore. The only thing Im not a fan of is that its automatically set to weigh you in stones. It comes up like a normal weight on the app but on the scale what it displays means nothing to me. Im sure there is a way to change it I just havent figured it out yet. Overall Id highly recommend this scale if you have a Fitbit.
Eng. Awesome –
I thought this may be as high tech as their smart watches but I was totally wrong. It shows only the weight and each time shows you different number. It hardly syncs with its app. I definitely dont recommend this and I will return to the store. It was delivered so fast though. I bought another brand which shows 13 health factors and sync easily and works with many health applications and if you step on it several times in a row, it always shows the same results with the half price of fitbit aria airThis is a totally waste of money.
CorsairRGBController –
I was hoping that the Aria Air would be better than its predecessor. Even though it sync via Bluetooth Fitbit still seems to have trouble making their scale communicate and interact with its app. After using it for a while I have started using it as a dumb scale and not bothered to try and get it to sync with the app. I will never buy another smart scale from Fitbit. If i am ever going to consider buying another one they have to fix the unreliable sync issues and easier way to set it up.
hazza3982 –
I bought this product a few weeks ago and Im not too impressed with the purchase. The bluetooth connection is unreliable and the scales only record the weight of the user with time stamps. The scales are of good build quality and design but you could definitely save money and just buy some scales and record your weight on the Fitbit app. I will continue to use these scales but I would not recommend buying these scales unless youre looking to buy a set of scales for this price range.
gorillasmuse92 –
I have to say everything came in time I love this scale. It seems heavy and built with great quality materials. It was an easy set up. And makes a great addition to my Fitbit life style … trying to eat better and exercise more this scale is going to help out a tone.
Dumb –
Dont waste your money. Doesnt seem very accurate, only connects with the app about ten percent of the time. Save some money and buy a better scale, you will still have to log your weights either way, but at least the weight will be right.
Anonymous –
Bought to sync up with Fitbit watch. Expensive for what it does… no body fat composition. Could have bought cheaper but hooked on Fitbit product. Easy to set up. Batteries included.
Linda –
Pros I like the way it works and transfers data to the Fitbit appCons The blue tooth does not always work and its fiddly to make it work by taking a battery outWhat the scales give for the cost is poor value for money. Also it binds you into expensive Fitbit products
Phil A –
You might as well shoot darts on a wall full of numbersI understand that you may need to step on the scale 23 times to get an accurate reading, but this thing had a 7 lb range as to what I weighed….and thats after stepping on the scale 8 times. The icing on the cake I fasted 42 hours no food entered my body and took multiple hourlong walks in that period, well according to that thing, I just put on 5.5 lbs between the day I started the fast and when I was about to break it.Do yourself a huge favor and DO NOT buy this piece of junk.
Blackman57 –
Well, I love the connection between this device and the Fitbit However, it does not appear to be accurate, I say this because another scale we use shows my weight as being 23 lbs. lower As we all know, no one on a weight loss campaign has a scale that shows heavier weight. However it could be accurate, just my assessment
coPCguy –
Simple and effective. Excellent response time with my iPhone via Bluetooth. Integration with your smartphone software is intuitive and easy to get in the habit of using daily.
BestBuyEnthusiast –
Easy to set up easy to sync with your fitbit app. Only complaint is have to have the fitbit app open for it to log your weight in the app. Usually weigh myself before I shower so my phone isnt typically with me.
HoneyRoasted –
The scale is sleek and works well, nice back lit screen and is very clean and classy looking in a bathroom. I was a bit bummed at the app, as it does not play well with google fit which was my entire reason for buying this as opposed to a regular scale. Overall, I am very happy with this product as a good looking scale.
LilDrummerBoy –
I bought this as a direct replacement for other Aria product and was disappointed that its only connection via Bluetooth. Subsequently, it has less features than my old one. Shame on me for not noticing. Aside from that it uses 3 AAA batteries, does appear to be more solid than my older one. I havent used it but a few times so this is all I have to say about that.
Islander25 –
Very accurate scale. Its been helpful to track my weight goals. The only downside is the phone has to be close to the scale to record your weight automatically. Ive been doing it manually.
lomeeks0 –
I have been in search for a electronic weight scale for over a year. The Fitbit Aria Air fits the bill. The scale reads accurately, connects directly with the Fitbit APP, and has a modern under stated look. The product arrived from this particular supplier arrived on time and in mint condition. I would highly recommend this product and supplier if you are in search of the Fitbit Aria Air scale.
Shadow63 –
Buyer beware It would only sync to my Fitbit account one time. Fitbits advice Change the batteries. It comes with batteries so why a brand new scale would not work is beyond me. I didnt read before purchasing that it only tells you weight and BMI. I have a much cheaper scale that I got years ago that offers more than that. Dont waste your money on this one.
Jasmine –
Just got it and absolutely love how easy it is to connect it comes with batteries. BUT, Fitbit in a way did false advertise as I bought this for the weight bmi BUT after doing some research looking on the Fitbit app IT DOES NOT TELL YOU YOUR BMI. Fi
Catpaige98 –
The scale didnt measure our weight correctly. I stepped on the scale the morning of my doctor appointment and it said 112 lbs. when I went to the doctor I was 138 lbs. I also had my husband step on it, and his was also off by 25 lbs.
4216 –
I purchased this unit to automate the tracking of my weight with my Fitbit profile. We tested the old digital scale against the Aria Air and found that the two were only a few ounces different, the Aria added about 6 ounces. The link to the Fitbit app as easy but failed after two days and we had to pair the units again. It has been solid since that second pairing. The display is easy to read.
GreatPrice –
I just bought this and I though I was getting the Aria, but found at that it was the Aria Air. The regular Aria apparently is not being sold at Beat Buy anymore.I really like the Bluetooth feature and not having to connect to WiFi. This makes it portable and anyone can use it.
Lynda –
The scale is lightweight and thin, easy to store. To make it work with myfitbit I have to remember to take my phone to the bathroom when I weigh. The scale weighs me 4 lbs more than my other scale and my doctors scale. It is not adjustable, so cant be calibrated to match my doctors scale. The scale is ok if you dont mind doing the math. I would recommend spending a little more and getting the upgrade model.
