I used a nearly identical Sennheiser G3 model from 20102018 that operated in the 600 Mhz range that the FCC is no longer allowing, so I bought this to replace it, and it has performed exactly as expected. I highly recommend it, and have noticed some improvements like the mic clip over my older model. I especially appreciate the quick sync option where the receiver will find open channels in an area and sync with the transmitter on that open frequency. I work in a rural area where this is rarely a problem, but it is very helpful when needed. I also really appreciate that it is powered by AA batteries, and am really happy with the system using 18 mini plugs.

I upgraded from a G2 and a G3 set, both of which were in the 600mhz block. I started to experience lots of interference in the last year with those sets, likely due to the auction of that frequency block. The G4 looks and operates almost exactly like the older units, except for a new nice white lcd backlight. So far my interference issues have disapeared, and the G4 seems to last all day on one set of batteries. The sound quality seems great to my ears, especially with upgraded lav mics.

I was excited to use my new G4 system. I tested it, and everything sounded great. Two days later, I setup at my video shoot. Nothing but static. After lots of troubleshooting, the problem was a bad cable. The XLR to 18 cable that is included in the system had a short. Fortunately, I had a boom mic and finished the shoot. I ordered a replacement Sehnnheiser XLR to 18 cable for 39.99, and it works fine. However, the replacement cable has a PLASTIC connector rather than a metal connector that secures the mic to the transmitter. I expected a little bit better quality control from a 600 mic system. So, always have a backup cable.

I own the EW100 G3 lav system, but only one of them. I rented the EW112P for a 2person interview and used both systems outdoors. I used my Countryman B3 Omni on the G3 and the included ME 2II Omnidirectional Lav Mic on the EW112P thinking the mic would be fine. It was NOT. The Countryman B3 was brilliant. The ME 2II was so bad I couldnt EQ it to be anything better than only very slightly better. Wind noise, background noise and every other type of noise was pronounced while the vocal was thin. Huge mistake on my part not doing a test comparison ahead of time, but was traveling.So, buy the system, but definitely buy the Countryman B3 as your lav mic. That little mic had no wind noise even bare and isolatedenhanced the voice brilliantly despite heavy jet noise and helicopters from the nearby airport flying overhead.

Ive used three different versions of this wireless system. They do get incrementally better. Its good for this price range, but Ill probably wind up upgrading the microphone, as the kit mic is rather large and difficult to conceal.

Ive been looking for a wireless or clientworn solution for some time now. I tried the Zoom F1 as soon as it came out, since Ive been very happy with the Zoom products I already have the H6 and F8n, but the selfnoise and generally tinny sound made it unusable for me. I then tried the Rode Wireless Go, as soon as I saw some of the ecstatic reviews, but I use an external lav mic which caused interference, a widelatitude whine which couldnt be targeted with filters. I suppose I could have bought another lav, but, hey, I already have a couple of good ones Tram TR50s, rightThen I saw the price drop on this, with another bonus incentive, and grabbed it. It was what I was looking for all along. The sound on this is rich and crystal clear, with a low noise floor, and seems to have really good transmission capabilities. I walked around in the office space here, and went behind a concrete wall, and there was no problem. And it works flawlessly with the lavs I already have as I say, two Tram Tr50s which fortunately have a battery option, since the 112p system has no phantom power.I did a test on the battery life, transmitting dialogue and recording I set a movie on a loop and the units ran and ran on two rechargeable AA batteries. They finally conked out somewhere between 9 and 11 hours.I dont have anything to say about the ME2II microphone, as I havent used it and dont intend to. Ive seen enough online reviews to know that it wont give us the sound we need.So far, I have no criticisms at all about this unit. It works as well as wiring the mics directly into the F8n. You can tell that these are professional units, built to be reliable.

Great product Ive used them on shoots and rented them out, and everybodys been pretty happy with them. Not sure how they compare to the G3s but from what I understand, these are better in range. Ive dropped them a few times whoops and they did not break. I would say to pay attention to the antenna, sometimes I get weird interference but thats pretty much any radio device. Also, I put a piece of black electric tape over the transmitter lights so that they dont illuminate through tshirts and such.

This kit isnt working well for me. When the mic cord gets twisted we have been experiencing a lot of feedback and distortion. During a live event it is very difficult to fix. I wouldnt recommend this system and would go with one with a better build.

Sowohl Sender als auch Empfnger verwenden Akkus, somit muss man nicht dauernd Batterien kaufen oder viele einzelne AA Akkus laden. Akku des Senders hlt den gesamten Drehtag durch. hochwertige Verarbeitung Verbindet sich selbststndig, einfach anschalten und loslegen. Digital 1.9GHz, da bekommt man eigentlich nie Probleme mit Strfrequenzen o Akku des Empfngers ist etwas schnell leer will man einen ganzen Tag drehen und hat keine Mglichkeit zu laden, sollte man eigentlich noch 2 Ersatzakkus dabei haben, einer kostet aktuell etwa 50EUR, aber man kann den Akku sonst auch per Powerbank o.. ber USB whrend dem Betrieb laden. Probleme gabs somit also noch nie. o Das ME2 Mikrofon ist fr die meisten Zwecke vollkommen ausreichend. Wem das nicht gengt, holt sich entweder das MKE2 Kit oder das Lavalier eines anderen Herstellers Sanken, DPA etc.

I was worried about the quality of the new units, but it turns out I was wrong I experience less dropoffs, better battery life, faster scanning, and it looks more modern as well. The only negative is that I dont like the lapel mic adapter, but the audio quality is just as good.

Not sure what else youre looking for when it comes to mics but these do a solid job at that.I was looking at getting the newer fancy model that auto connects cant remember what its called, but one thing I love about this specific series of mics is the control you get over the frequency. That manual control is clutch in areas where a lot of other video producers are.

Pairing was pretty straightforward, but wish the set had included text instructions, rather than just diagrams. Downloaded the Sennheiser Documentation app, and that had complete text and visual instructions, though the layout was confusing. Read the reviews about the lessthanstellar included lav mic, but it serves the purpose until I can justify the cost of a better lav. The set worked great for me on my most recent gigs, so no real complaints. Docked a star for the insufficient instructions.

It was what I was looking for all along. The sound on this is rich and crystal clear, with a low noise floor, and seems to have really good transmission capabilities. I walked around in the office space here, and went behind a concrete wall, and there was no problem. And it works flawlessly with the lavs I already have as I say, two Tram Tr50s which fortunately have a battery option, since the 112p system has no phantom power.I did a test on the battery life, transmitting dialogue and recording I set a movie on a loop and the units ran and ran on two rechargeable AA batteries. They finally conked out somewhere between 9 and 11 hours.I dont have anything to say about the ME2II microphone, as I havent used it and dont intend to. Ive seen enough online reviews to know that it wont give us the sound we need.So far, I have no criticisms at all about this unit. It works as well as wiring the mics directly into the F8n. You can tell that these are professional units, built to be reliable.

I had been using a 159 lavalier setup two transmitters and two receivers for that price for years without complaints after doing a little postproduction on the audio and it worked good enough for corporate training videos.This however is a different league. Easy to use and set up and great quality audio. Worth every penny IMHO.

Great product Ive used them on shoots and rented them out, and everybodys been pretty happy with them. Not sure how they compare to the G3s but from what I understand, these are better in range. Ive dropped them a few times whoops and they did not break. I would say to pay attention to the antenna, sometimes I get weird interference but thats pretty much any radio device. Also, I put a piece of black electric tape over the transmitter lights so that they dont illuminate through tshirts and such.

I own the EW100 G3 lav system, but only one of them. I rented the EW112P for a 2person interview and used both systems outdoors. I used my Countryman B3 Omni on the G3 and the included ME 2II Omnidirectional Lav Mic on the EW112P thinking the mic would be fine. It was NOT. The Countryman B3 was brilliant. The ME 2II was so bad I couldnt EQ it to be anything better than only very slightly better. Wind noise, background noise and every other type of noise was pronounced while the vocal was thin. Huge mistake on my part not doing a test comparison ahead of time, but was traveling.So, buy the system, but definitely buy the Countryman B3 as your lav mic. That little mic had no wind noise even bare and isolatedenhanced the voice brilliantly despite heavy jet noise and helicopters from the nearby airport flying overhead.

In every press conference, I go to, this is the most seen wireless microphones system. Pros everywhere have at least one set on hand always and most sound techs I know with any experience have this standard in their bag. Cant go wrong with Sennheiser Lav mic well worth the investment upfront.

This kit isnt working well for me. When the mic cord gets twisted we have been experiencing a lot of feedback and distortion. During a live event it is very difficult to fix. I wouldnt recommend this system and would go with one with a better build.

I used a nearly identical Sennheiser G3 model from 20102018 that operated in the 600 Mhz range that the FCC is no longer allowing, so I bought this to replace it, and it has performed exactly as expected. I highly recommend it, and have noticed some improvements like the mic clip over my older model. I especially appreciate the quick sync option where the receiver will find open channels in an area and sync with the transmitter on that open frequency. I work in a rural area where this is rarely a problem, but it is very helpful when needed. I also really appreciate that it is powered by AA batteries, and am really happy with the system using 18 mini plugs.

We thought we knew what we were doing and skipped this step and felt dissatisfied until we looked on YouTube found out what we were doing wrong. Found a YouTube video to help me with syncing the units, and wrote down all the steps for scanning a location. With the receiver attached to my Ronin S, I made a good video on my first try. I recommend buying the BH case to contain your wireless units and your Zoom recorder for protection and easy access.

My first wireless package for my oneman production business. Used a Sony set in my previous corporate job, but this had better BH reviews. Pairing was pretty straightforward, but wish the set had included text instructions, rather than just diagrams. Downloaded the Sennheiser Documentation app, and that had complete text and visual instructions, though the layout was confusing. Read the reviews about the lessthanstellar included lav mic, but it serves the purpose until I can justify the cost of a better lav. The set worked great for me on my most recent gigs, so no real complaints. Docked a star for the insufficient instructions.

Ive been using Senheisser Gseries mics since I got into the video production world. Theyre reliable, easy to adjust, and give you clear audio for interviews. Not sure what else youre looking for when it comes to mics but these do a solid job at that.I was looking at getting the newer fancy model that auto connects cant remember what its called, but one thing I love about this specific series of mics is the control you get over the frequency. That manual control is clutch in areas where a lot of other video producers are.
