Very fast drive, much, much faster than any other flash drives Ive ever had, especially when writing. Will have to wait and see about long term durability. One negative is the drive could have been made a little smaller, it is on the larger side.

Never purchased a 1 tb flashdrive before. It worked perfectly for my nas and large file transfers. Did notice they generate quite a bit of heat, so id be curious to see if i blows up. Jk

Bought this drive back in April 10th of 2021 and as of July 19th its already dead. Drive will show up in windows but wont be detected in windows explorer and no partition table shows up in windows disk management. As other reviews have said, the outer casing gets very hot during operation, and probably contributed to its demise. Avoid this drive and just buy something with a slower speed that doesnt overheat.

This was the only True 1TB thumb drive I could find that was worth anything.. There are SOOOOO many fake 1TB drives out there these days. Not only is the Sandisk the real deal but it is also Very FAST I seem to always end up buying Sandisk thumb drives as I always want to get the fastest drive available. I have several of this drives predecessors. Most of them have all of the lettering worn off of the aluminum housing. ALL of the drives still perform flawlessly

Excellent Drive only issue was there seems to be a formatting conflict when I backup files from laptopsdesktops files consume twice the space on the Sandisk 1TB.

While the device I received probably fulfills my needs, I wont accept a product that fails to meet the advertised specifications in a manner as definitive and spectacular as failing to meet the capacity specifications. Dont buy this if you have the self respect to not want to be lied to and sold something literally substandard.
