I shoot the Canon 7D and use exclusively SanDisk Extreme CF cards. I have ZERO problem EVER. Theyre FAST, very sturdy. This is a pro product with a price to match more expensive than SD cards but it delivers perfectly and save you possibly much trouble from inferior formats, brands, performance or build quality. BTW those cards also seem to last foreever. Im yet to have ANY issue at all even with my older ones and they have shot dozens of thousands of pictures.

During the the film era, you always had to very mindful of how many shots you had available. But with this card there is no concern. I have the ability with a freshly formatted card to capture over 9,000 images on my Canon EOS 7D mark II. This is a great companion to the battery grip. I have been using the SanDisk Compact Flash and SD memory cards, mostly Extreme Pro version, for more than 10 years and have never had a malfunction or lost data photos. They have been cost effective, fast and reliable during use in 6 different Canon 35mm film and digital cameras. Most have been the Extreme Pro memory cards.Using these cards, including formatting them via the Canon cameras, and only using a separate device to transfer the photos to a computer, not transferring from the cameras, have been 100 successful. While a transfer device has failed to readwrite photos to the computer a couple times, the card was not affected.KB

So nice to pop this into my 1DX2 and see 7414 come up as the number of RAW pictures that can be stored on it. Wish Id had this when we spent 3 weeks in Alaska. Every night was spent dumping pictures off my 32Gb cards onto my laptop to make room for the next day. This should be a vast improvement. Ill buy at least one more.

If your camera uses CF cards and you need to record video, look no further. People also report great results with Lexar Professional 1066x cards but I chose this one. Theres cheaper options out there but some of them tend to be less reliable and the price difference doesnt seem worth the potential loss of data.

This is not my first Sandisk product. I have several Sandisk SD cards and one Sandisk 128gb CF card. No problems with any of them. On a recent trip to Yellowstone National Park, I did, however, run out of memory on my 128gb CF card. Too mays geyser videos I suppose. I opted to upgrade to a new 256gb Sandisk CF card. I have not been sorry, as it functions flawlessly every time I use it. If there was anything that might be considered a problem with this card, it is the fact that neither of my two card readers would read the card. I upgraded to the Sandisk Imagemate All In One USB 3.0 card reader and no more problems. I am extremely pleased with this 256gb CF card, as I have been with previous Sandisk cards. Keep up the good work Sandisk. Kudos to BH also, for their great service and prompt shipping and customer care.

These are great cards, built like tanks. Certainly a bump up in price compared to the SD cards, but well worth it. I upgraded to a D800e, which takes both CF and SD cards. I decided to go with Extreme Pro for both because they are so reliable. Never had an issue, and for mission critial shoots I dont want the stress that a cards going to dump on me. The only problem is the file size for full resolution is so large Im going to need a lot more cards. This is a better value than the 64gb.

I replaced a 32 GB card with this larger, faster memory card in my Nikon D4S. The 64GB CompactFlash memory card was not a whole lot faster than my smaller card. The file transfer to my computer via USB was somewhat improved as well as buffer emptying in my camera. I really like the increased capacity on the larger 64GB card for all day sporting events and bird photography. Shooting a lot of high speed bursts can quickly fill up smaller cards, but you can often get shots that you might otherwise have missed.

Having used most brands of memory cards SanDisk, Lexar, Delkin, Hoodman and others, SanDisk seems to be the one that never breaks down, even when shooting RAW stills at 10 frames per second. I love the speed of these cards. I do a lot of bird photography with an emphasis on catching birds in flight. That means I am usually shooting at very high frame rates and often in long bursts. With these cards, I can shoot several hundred frames in a burst without worrying about whether the camera will get bogged down. Plus, two of these cards in my Nikon D5 will let me shoot 5.4 thousand pictures in the raw format. Even on the busiest of days, Im not going to shoot that many shots. So I never have to worry about running out of space. Finally, theyre extremely rugged. I accidentally dropped a camera while using these cards from a great height. The camera, the cards, and the images on the cards all survived without any problems.

I used these in my Canon 5D Mark III and now in my Canon 5D Mark IV. They are fast and most importantly 100 reliable in my experience. Ive never had one fail. I dont take them into extreme conditions of heat or cold, nor into harsh environments like desert sand or tropical humidity. So, I cant speak to those conditions, but in my everyday use yearround in the midAtlantic part of the US, travel to Europe, and Asia their performance is excellent. I highly recommend them.

I bought this card with the thought of using it for MagicLantern. Its fast, but Id like a faster card to sustain higher bitrates during writes. In retrospect, I would have held off and waited for the prices of the 1200X cards to come down. I cant really knock this card because I am really pushing the boundaries of the camera and card. Another thought would have purchased the 64 gig card for testing before investing in such a large card. If you are using this card for nonraw video, this will do an excellent job. I was able to continue burst firing a Canon 5D, large Raw and jpg files. It slowed down a litlle but never stopped firing.

I always always… use SanDisk Extreme Pro cards in all of my cameras.This 64gb card is the perfect size and speed for my Nikon D5 and D4s bodies. I can shoot all day on a single card and not come close to filling it.Most importantly, not a single SanDisk Extreme Pro Card has ever failed me. You often read that its not IF your card will fail, only When.. that statement haunts me, but I am happy to say that over the past 8 years, not a single SanDisk card has failed to perform and has never lost date.I opted for the double CF card version of the D5 and am very VERY happy with these cards.Definitely recommend them. Side note, never ever fill your card all the way and always format in camera before beginning your photo sessions. Youll have trouble free performance each and every time.

1500 Uncompressed RAW images on my Nikon D810 approx 70 mb each This is the card I take to an event to make sure it all gets on the same card. The card is fast gets those huge files out of the buffer rather quickly when shooting at 5fps. I dont really do video but this card claims to be able to capture 4K video you have a lot of room to do it. I have shot about 800 pics on this card since I got it about a week ago with no problems, but then again I never really worry with SanDisk. Price is a little steep, but the trick is if you dont need it immediately put it in your wish list and watch it SanDisk does rebates several times a year I got this one at a great price

I have used san disk for many years now. I have a canon 5Dlll and also a canon 5DlV. I have always gotten very good quality shots with san disk memory cards. I would recommend san disk to anyone shooting stills or video.

I am very disappointed with SanDisks new storage case for their line of CF cards. Looking at the photo, the case on the left is what everyone is familiar with and it works well. The new case on the right is totally useless. It is impossible to open with your fingers you would most likely break a finger nail trying and the only way it can be opened is with the use of a tool.I had complained to SanDisk about this issue and this is their responseI understand that you are facing issues with the Storage Case and it is hard to open up the case. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. I would like to inform you that we do not manufacture the storage case separately or provide replacement for the storage cases.They are completely oblivious to the problem, or they dont care.Would I purchase another CF card from SanDisk, probably not.

Now that many photographers rely on a card capacity for both stills and video, I have found this card to work flawlessly on all but the most data hungry gear eg medium format where the 300 MBs is better, but alas still more expensive. For single image capture this card works fine.

I purchased this card to use in my Nikon D800. I shoot a lot of timelapse images . . . up to the full 999 and the files on this 36megapixel camera are large. To get the interval I wanted I needed a card that could handle large files quickly and not allow the camera to fill its buffer. This card works very well. All files are written with no delay, increasing my chances of obtaining a smooth timelapse. Another advantage is the download speed of the card. With so many large files to process, it is nice to have a card that can match the speed of a USB 3 on a fully loaded Mac. Workflow becomes so much faster and fun. I will be purchasing an additional card.

Ive used a lot of different brands of CF and SD cards over the years. The speed of SanDisks has always been very consistent. Its pricier than most competitors, but worth every penny. These are reliable. I had 10 CFs over the past 5 years and only 1 failed. It was easy to contact SanDisk and they replaced it with a new card. Make sure to purchase these from manufacturers direct suppliers such as BH. Be aware of cheaper replica SanDisks.

I use this CF card in my Canon 7D Mark II, because I know at 10 fps, I can overwhelm a lesser speed card. I have had slower cards bog down, just after a dozen action frames, keeping me from taking shots at the best part of a surfers ride. Now, I can hold the shutter for about 35 frames before it slows. Any kind of restraint on the shutter, and it will never bottom out. And I cant fill it in one shoot. I like that

This is about the best Compact Flash card you can buy. The brand is dependable and has a longlasting reputation for good products and standing behind the products when issues arise. Its also the fastest compact flash card money can buy so it costs a bit more, which isnt a thrill since the data transfer method for compact flash maxes out at this cards speed so there will never be a faster card. But if your camera still relies on Compact Flash this is the card to buy. Then32 GB size is a solid one, available for less if youre shooting in a rotation with a card runner or shooting a gig where you need to be careful to spread the shoot over multiple cards. Overall an excellent but limited in speed card.

I bought the 32G card just under a year ago and have had some weird problems with pics saving on the card. I first thought it was camera related but yesterday I couldnt download my pictures had to copy paste them to be able to view. Today put it back in the camera and it wouldnt formatand camera was flashing CHA which I have never seen before.Used menu to format but now camera says the card is damaged I have decided that my initial fears are correct, Ill be sticking to smaller sized cards from now on. 32G is just too many pics to risk losing at one time….

Its always painful to buy the newest, fastest card out and this one is no exception. Having just bought the Canon 5DM4 though, I needed the capacity speed for the 4K video file sizes and write speeds. Excellent performance on the video front and you can shoot thousands of stills and never fill it up. The controllers on these cards do have superior performance for a price. If I were just shooting stills though, Id recommend several smaller capacity cards same brand extreme pro so you can swap out cards often and not have all your images on the same one. That being said, Ive used Sandisk CF cards for over 12 years now and have never had one fail me.

I use my CF cards in a Nikon D800 and D700. Ive been using Extreme Pro cards for many years in a number of different iterations with never a problem. I like the heavy duty construction, the weather sealing and temperature range the cards can withstand. To me, the extra build quality justifies the price, and the speed continues to exceed my needs mostly still shooting, but with bursts of 8 framessecond on the D700. I bought a competing brand that was specd higher and was cheaper, and low and behold after one year it suddenly lost the directory on the card. I had to recover the files, which you may know takes many hours on a large card. So I bought Sandisk again and I trust this brand and model.

I just bought this 64GB CF card received today. It is a great card and no problem to use it in D810. However, to my surprise that this card can only be read as 32GB in my D810 camera. I havent figured out how to make it to read the entire 64GB. Seems its the limitation of D800 series by Nikon. Im going to dig online for more info about it. But I thought it is useful info to put it here.

This is my goto CF card for commercial work in a Nikon D810. 16 GB is too small, 64GB is too big, but the 32GB is just right Big enough for multiple shoots, yet not so big that it goes for several days without being reformatted. While there are certainly smaller cards out there, smaller doesnt necessarily mean easier to handle. The size and heft of the CF makes it easy to insert, remove, store, and handle.Only reason to ding the product one star is the minor inconvenience of using an external card reader No builtin CF card reader on any computer Im aware of.Ive never had a CF card fail Hope Im not tempting fate.

I click the shutter release button and photos go on it. I take it out of the camera and put it into a card reader attached to my computer. The computer then shows my the photos on the SanDisk.

I use this in my new Canon 7D Mark II for still shooting havent gotten to video yet, but will be once I am up the learning curve on still shooting. While I prefer the SD card format I had been using in my previous Canon 70D, I got this for the benefit of having a second card in the camera. The 7D has a slot for one CF and one SD card. Why I dont know, I would prefer two SD card slots. In my 7D I can get about 30 frames in continuous highspeed burst mode with this 160MBs CF card before the buffer fills and the rate starts to hiccup. The rate with a SanDisk ExtremePRO 95MBs class 10 SD card card is identical. So no performance improvement over the SD card, but I do have the benefit of a second card in the camera for volume.

Wow…what a difference the speed capabilities this card makes with my continuous shoot mode I used to get very frustrated with my Sandisk Extreme Pro 32GB 90MBs when shooting in this mode. The constant busy signal kept me from getting those perfect candid shots my customers so desired. Now I capture these moments effortlessly. As to the transfer speed, I used to walk away from my computer due to time constraints. Now with faster transfer capabilities I am able to start utilizing my photos within Photoshop in a matter of minutes. My only regret is that I didnt purchase this compact flash card much sooner Look at all those potential candid photos I missed

I use this for my Canon EOS 5D Mark III. Whats great is that I see transfer speeds of 100 MBsecond consistently through my transfers. I once left this in the pockets of my pants in the washer AND dryer and it still worked after with everything intact Whats not so great about it Took them long enough to make a fast card like this Just kidding I have no complaints. I shoot a great deal of RAW imagery using a Canon 5D Mark III, from landscapes where set up and timing can be everything, to conferences and special events where available time is limited, lighting conditions can be less than optimal, and response time must be fast. So the last thing I want to worry about are my memory cards. And this card has never been a source of worry. Reliability is everything Honestly, I have been using SanDisk cards for years and they have never failed me. Perhaps Im just fortunate, but its a fact. And the Extreme Pro has been no exception. I have used Lexar and Sandisk pretty much interchangeably. However, I will now be sticking with Sandisk. They both work as advertised and they both, sometimes, fail. I earlier had a Sandisk CF card fail and I had to send it it and they sent me a new one. No problem. I more recently had a Lexar disk fail. It turns out that their lifetime warranty is meaningless. They delayed answering emails. They wanted an original purchase receipt and other annoyances. I gave up trying to return it under warranty which is probably the reason for the ridiculous hurdles they put in the way. I also gave up purchasing their brand.

I bought two 32GB Extreme Pro CompactFlash Memory Card 160MBs. All of my CompactFlash Memory Cards are SanDisk. I recently used the cards with a Canon EOS 1D Mark IV SLR and a Canon EOS1D Mark III 10.1 Megapixel Digital SLR Camera cameras. I have utilized them shooting afternoon D3 collegiate football games. I shot both game via jpg Large format. I had no buffering issues, even with 510 images bursts. Because of excellent past experiences with SanDisk Compact Flash cards, I will continue to endorse their usage.

I am an extreme hobbyist who shoots 50,000 75,000 pictures a year. Mostly high school sports for a website and also for local news paper. I have used the same 16 GB and 8 GB SanDisc Extreme Pro cards in my 7Ds for the past 5 years with no issues. I keep the 16 GB in my 7D with 70200 2.8 lens and the 8 GB in my other 7D with 2470 2.8 lens. I typically fill both cards every game and immediately go home, down load and erase for the next game. Some weeks we have several games per week which means thousands of down loads and erases each week. My SanDisc cards are very reliable, never any issues. I just purchased a new 32 GB Extreme Pro to add to my capacity. Took it to State Finals and it performs as expected. I have never used any other brand of card than SanDisc. I have also never had any issues with SanDisc they are reliable cards.

Ive been using SanDisk CF cards for 12 years and absolutely no problem with any of them until now. I just had my second 32 gig SD CF Extreme Pro card poop out on me. The problem has been the same with both. I cant get my photos off the card in one shot. It will upload about 50 photos and stall. I have to turn off the upload and start again. It will upload about 50 more and then stop. Over and over and over….. Trying the 64 gig to see if its any better. What a big fat disappointment

I use this CF card in my Sounddevices 744t to record sound. I can record 4 tracks at 24192 and the card keeps up without issues. The UDMA7 gives fast transfer rates when coupled to a UDMA7 card reader interface. Ive been buying these cards for years and the only reason I keep buying more is because the price vs capacity keeps coming down. Highly recommended

I own 4 of the 32GB extreme pros and they are fantastic. Ive never had a problem with them failing or stopping frames for you video folk even in the 1DC or the c100300 recording 4K footage. Uncompressed raw from a 1DX also flows flawlessly. I havent personally had one crack or known anyone who has had one fail. I highly reccomend this product to ANY photographer at any level. As a photojournalist I would trust nothing else.

I have a Nikon 810 and it uses Compact Flash for the second card slot. I purchased two Compact Flash cards last year. I felt it was important to rotate the oldest one out of service. SanDisk is the recommended brand from Nikon, and they have never been a problem. Unlike some lesser brands.

It wrote quickly, even when I was shoot several frames per second. When I downloaded the files to my thunderbolt hard drive, the read time was exceptionally fast. I have 4 SanDisk Extreme Pro 32 GB CompactFlash Memory Card 160MBs read speed 150MBs write speed. I used them with my Canon 7D MII and my 7D. In the burst mode at 10 frames per second the card keeps up Recording with the images. I have used this card in extreme heat, 115 F with no problems. I have been using this memory card since it first became available and is my primary Memory Card. When I record a series of images using my finger to trip to shutter sometimes the rate as high as six or seven frames per second do not have any Recording delays with this memory card. Ive recorded approximately 40,000 images using this card with no problems during the recording or exporting to computer processes. I highly recommend this card for both size and speed. The first time I went out with my Canon 7D M II, I went to bird sanctuary and recorded A Mix of birds in flight, birds in trees, birds traveling on the Lake, and landing and taking off from Lake in the course of two hours, I recorded 999 RAW images to fill this card, excellent card for this experience. The second memory card in my 7D M II is the SanDisk 32GB Extreme Pro UHSI SDHC U3 Memory Card Class 10 with Max. Write Speed 90 MBs, and Max. Read Speed 95 MBs. . The camera is set to start recording on the second card when the first card is Full. On rare occasions I will switch to the second card if a completely different subject matter attracts my attention to record during Focused shoot. Then I return to the main card and continue recording the subject I am photograph at that time. Example Aircraft in flight all of a sudden see activity completely different than aircraft but wholes my interest and dictates I should record the images. I switched to the second card continue recording in raw till those activities do not require any more documentation then switch back to the main memory card continue Recording aircraft. I use the Sandisk 160MBs 64GB Extreme Pro CF card in my D800 paired with a 95MBs SD card backing up in the secondary slot. I shoot weddings primarily and saving to RAW files and when youre using the D800 you really need the fastest card with as much space as possible when shooting multiple frame bursts in moments that cannot be repeated. Having said that, even though most of my shots during a shoot have enough time between each photo to not really need this card. It gives you a lot of confidence knowing that when something spontaneous happens that you wont hit that wall where the cameras buffer is full waiting to write to the card. Do yourself a huge favour and invest in the fastest memory cards from reliable brands like Sandisk. You owe it to your clients to make sure you dont miss those crucial moments.

This is only one the few CF card out there that can record 1080p RAW with Magic Lantern. Sandisks are pricey but very reliable from my experience and consistent. The Lexars are good but Ive read a few reports they die after a year. Dont even go the Komputerbay route. Its too much of a gamble for me. I want to go out and shoot stuff not do benchmarks. If you are going to shoot full HD raw video with magic lantern, this is the card to get. Not worth the time to cheap out. The only con with this card is the price. I can get 256gb SSD for the price of this CF card. Ugh.

have been shooting for 35 years, shooting digital since it was born. never had a card issue. in 30 days had 2 lexar cards corropted. thankfully i had purchased some recovery software to recover. threw about 400 worth of cards in the trash, so i would not be tempted to try again, now i shoot a CF Sd card for redundancy. shooting canon 5dsr. switched to 5DSRs in last 6 months hopefully not a camera or reader issue. use to shoot 1DS 1dx models. spend a ton of on camera glass to only cheap out on reader or card doesnt make sense.

Ive been using SanDisk CF and SD cards for a long, long time and Id never have one fail. I use this CF card in my Canon 5DMIV. It has a super fast write speed but occasionally I still fill my buffer and have to wait a second or two before I can shoot again. To be honest, I bought the CF card because the SD broke one of the plastic dividers between each conductor but it still works and I now use it to back up the new CF card. This new card will be used with a D800 Nikon camera. One reason is this camera has large files NEF Raw files. The camera uses CF SD cards and max frame rate for it is 4 framessec. In a test, I did, it will take about 1516 images before the buffer stalls, using a SanDisk Ex Pro 64GB 95MBs, the other card I own. That means you must wait for the files to transfer to either the CF or SD before taking more images and In general it may take 1 sec or so before you can continue but I never actually measured that. A little about the subjects I photograph, mostly wildlife and occasional videos using a Nikon 500mm AFS lens. The D800 is not a speedy sports camera but I like the fact that its large files that can be cropped to useable sizes, especially when photographing something small like a bufflehead duck. So after reading the specks for the SD 64G 160MB card in conjunction with the cameras manual this card seems to be the fastest one available, and Nikon recommends SanDisk cards and Ive used SanDisk cards for some time and never had any problems with them.

I already had two of these to use in my Canon 5D Mark III, as Sandisk is well known to be the most reliable and fastest compact flash card available. I set it to write only to CF card and leave the SD empty, so the camera writes at its fastest speed. The 5D Mark III will default writing to the slowest cards speed and thats always the SD. Thats why I dont use one. Im so happy with this CF card that I bought two more to assure Im not caught short on the memory. IMHO theyre simply the best available at any price and a bargain for me.

Using this in a Canon EOS 40D, although I couldnt find any info online that this size would work with the camera, I bought it anyway and it works great. The camera recognizes all of the memory, only thing it will not do is tell you how many pictures you have left because it only displays 3 digits. So after taking 2040 pictures at the highest resolution, approximately 9 GB, it still says I have 999 pictures left. Life is good

I recently purchased a new Sound Devices 633 mixerrecorder. Ive always been a diehard Hoodman media storage card fanand I still am. The Hoodman cards have provided me years of reliable service with zero card failures and they are made in the USA. That being said Sound Devices is adament on consumers only using approved media storage cards that they have benchmark tested and approved. The Sandisk Extreme Pro Cards are at the top of the list. I run 64 GB Extreme Pro CF and SDXC cards in my 633. I keep a 32 GB Extreme Pro CF and SDXC card in the bag for back ups. When I get five years of problem free service from these cards Ill bump my four star rating up to five stars.

Recently, I had the opportunity to shoot very lively birds in a small pond and missed lots of shots while waiting for them to process. I talked to a salesman at BH who recommended this card. I have not had problems with this card, which is good, because its a CF card. What kind of problems is that going to have Especially when its the Extreme Pro series. At that price, it had better work. I dont really notice blazing fast speeds, but I also dont notice any limitations. The card says 160 MBs, and I see no reason to doubt it. I havent tested its durability because I dont know why I would.

I have purchased a lot of SanDisk cards over the years, from back when a 4 GB card was HUGE. They have always worked well in every camera I have used them in. The only reason that I replace them is to get something faster as technology advances, or to get something with more capacity as prices fall. These 128GB CF cards work well in my Canon 5DS and 5D mark iv. I dont take video, but they give me consistent fast writes for both RAW and JPG files.

This is about the best Compact Flash card you can buy. The brand is dependable and has a longlasting reputation for good products and standing behind the products when issues arise. Its also the fastest compact flash card money can buy so it costs a bit more, which isnt a thrill since the data transfer method for compact flash maxes out at this cards speed so there will never be a faster card. But if your camera still relies on Compact Flash this is the card to buy. The 128GB size is solid for shooting RAW files, costs a bit more than smaller sizes but holds plenty. A good card for shooting RAW to it while shooting JPG to a 32 GB version.

My Nikon D800 eats up a ton of memory fast. Photographing babies, kids, and sometimes having backtoback sessions, I worry about running out of CF card memory while shooting. 64GB SanDish is a fast card. Works just as well as all the previous SanDisk CF cards Ive owned and used for years. Pricy but if you know youll need multiples of 16GB cards or 32GB cards, you may as well have a 64GB card in your camera. but still always carry a backup Especially if you will be on the road for a few days, you will need all the storage you can get in one card.

Sandisk makes the in my opinion the fastest and most reliable cards available. I learned a valuable lesson once while on vacation with a competing brand. My battery was running low and I was taking those once in lifetime shots. For some reason those shots were not captured and stored. I have never had that problem with Sandisk, if there was enough battery power to run the camera there was enough power to capture and store images. This includes SD cards as well.

I shoot on the Nikon D810 which when shooting RAW can produce files around 3545mb. I switched from a Sandisk Extreme SD card to this CF card, and there is clearly a difference. I have yet to try shooting continuous and seeing how many shots I can get before the camera buffer runs out. However the two events at which I did use this CF card, I did not have any issues of the buffer filling up while shooting. So far Im very happy with the card.

This memory card brand has been a staple for me and my studio for years now. I have used their SDHC cards since they first hit the scene and loved them. Now that I have grown as a business and upgraded to Nikons D4S cameras, I thought I would stay with SanDisk for they have never failed me before. These memory cards read and write faster than ANY card I have used in the past. They are able to keep up with the high frame rate and file size of full size RAW files that the D4s puts out. I have yet to fill the buffer on my camera I do understand that it is very large but the pause in shooting that I have in sports I have yet to even challenge the buffer in my studio sessions and portraits the card catches up in no time. The number of shots that I can hold per card 32 GB at full RAW uncompressed is 866. More than enough room for me and anything that I will use the camera for. As for the transfer speed from card to computer I use the Lexar Pro workflow hub and readers is the fastest that have ever dealt with. Bottom line, if you are looking for a card that will meet your needs and leave you room for expansion in your work or creative skill set this card is one you should strongly consider.

Since purchasing the card last week, I have used it for both Seniors a wedding. I love it. It is especially helpful when downloading wedding images. I have run a gamut of Sandisk and competitions cards and only the Sandisk have lasted without ever having anyroblems. I still have 8 Sandisk Ducati Edition 8 Gig cards that are 8 years old that still work well and still relatively fast. Buy the fastest cards you can get, they are usually better using the newest technology buit will usually be fast enough for new products 2, 3 or more years down the road. And imediatly they are fast when shooting or filming but the transfer speeds to the computer using USB3 or Thunderbolt using a good fast card reader are amazing making these worth every penny.

I really love this card fast and durable. The only thing Ive found is that they dont are as fast as advertised you have to understand they test this cards with particular equipment and NOT with your every day work devices. I purchased two, and they both max out at 98 to 105 mbs with the Blackmagic app and a usb3 UMDA 7 reader… Thats why I gave 4 stars. It works just fine for ML RAW up to 108024p and you can get decent 60p resolutions. Ive done 108030p but its not that reliable nor consistent. If youre looking IMO for the best CF cards money can buy, just add to cart.

I have always used SanDisc SD cards with excellent results and had no reason to change brands when going to the compact flash format. I havent tried recording 4K video to these new 160MBs cards yet but I expect their performance to be extraordinary like the rest of the family. I just wish Sandisk would make a better card READER.

I purchased the 128GB Extreme Pro for my Sound Devices 633 MixerRecorder. When Im on location with long sessionsand often off of the gridproducers dont always bring a laptop to offload daily audio. If Ive flown in to the location everything has to fit in a small backpack and a small duffel bag so I cant always pack my laptop either to be totally honest as I dont like to check any of my media gear when flying. Even if a producer does bring a laptop and offloads daily audio I still want to be in possession of audio for the entire project until I can safely back up all files to multiple hard drives in my home studio in the event the client loses or accidentally deletes the projects audio files. I initially only trusted Delkin media cards, then switched to Hoodman which I feel are exceptionally reliable media cards. But I switched to using only Sound Devices recommended media cards for the 633 MixerRecorder. Im also using the Delkin Black SDXC 128 GB card in the 633 for the SD card slot for mirrored recording. I may give the SanDisk Extreme a 5 Star rating down the road if it proves to be utterly reliable as the Delkin and Hoodman cards.

I was a bit concerned about buying this SanDisk 128GB Extreme Pro CompactFlash Memory Card 160MBs, didnt know if it would work with Canon 5d Mark ii and if it could work with Magic Lantern and if it was reliable or not as I read a few reviews of it loosing pictures. Well it works fine with Canon 5D Mark ii and I used it to shoot raw video, which came out really nice and it didnt lose any pictures, not by luck but because I have a PC that has a Compact Flash port and I heard that people who lost their pictures used a card reader and when it wasnt fast enough it didnt show the pics that were taken, Im happy that I have a PC that allows me to insert the card directly to the PC without any card readers. Long story short, buy it without fear, its good.

I have had great experiences with Sandisk Cards in general since I stared using them with the Kodak Cameras in the 90s. When ever I have gone to cheaper brands on average, I experience a greater failure rate by far. I have have used them in all climates and have have plenty of memory cards on hand so I do not completely fill them.I currently use the 256GB Extreme Pro on still cameras that are 30 and 50mp cameras. One Still camera I use for video sometimes at 500mps, so the larger cards come in handy.

Purchased for use in a D810. Upgraded from a Hoodman Steel 32 GB 1000x The camera recognized the card right out of the box. Took some shots , no problem. Stuck the battery grip on, loaded an ENEL15 battery into the grip, set the capture mode to continuous high, pushed the shutter button. Held it down until I lost count. Took 30 shots and the camera never even slowed down. Awesome card.

I purchased this product for my Canon EOS 7D camera, and tested it to see how it compared to my existing 16 GB SanDisk Extreme 60 MBs CompactFlash card. I like to shoot baseball, and I wanted to know if the 160 MBs card could capture a higher frame rate or a larger number of frames than the 60 MBs card.You can read this entire review, but heres the conclusion In a Canon EOS 7D with the firmware 2.0.3 latest, with UDMA support, the 60 MBs and 160 MBs cards performance is virtually identical, and the 160 MBs feature is not worth the increased cost. I experienced no difficulties or compatibility problems whatsoever with either card. I formatted both cards in the camera, mounted it on a tripod, and adjusted the camera for highest frame rate performance. I then photographed the iPhone Stopwatch app at highest speed, RAWonly, until capture speed was noticeably reduced. I performed each test at least three times. Variance between tests was minimal.Using the 160 MBs card, I can capture 23 RAW images in three seconds. In the fourth second, frame rate noticeably deteriorates to two to four fps. One second its four, another its 2, another its 3, etc..Using the 60 MBs card, I can capture 21 to 23 RAW images usually 21 in three seconds. In the fourth second, frame rate noticeably deteriorates to two to four fps. Although this faster card does provide a measurable difference in frame rate, I think it is insignificant.I also measured buffer flush times, and here the difference was substantial. I captured a burst for about 4 seconds, and then I stopped capturing and I timed how long the red write LED flashed. In this test, the 160 MBs card was dramatically better While the slow card took 9.7 seconds to finish writing data, the 160 MBs card took 6 seconds. This means After shooting a burst, your 7D is ready for more photos about four seconds sooner if you use the 160 MBs card. This might be significant to some photographers. And, of course, copying 32 GB of data to your PC will probably be much faster with the 160 MBs card, as long as you have a high quality USB 3.0 card reader my Mac only has USB 2, so I could not test this.For my needs, I should have saved my money and purchased a 60 MBs or 90 MBs card, but I am going to keep this card and the old card will be my backup. No complaints whatsoever about this product, but my recommendation would be to buy an Extreme or Extreme Pro 90 MBs model for this camera.Final comments First, SanDisk has three kinds of Extreme cardsExtreme 60 MBsExtreme Pro 90 MBsExtreme PRO 160 MBsB H does a great job of letting you know which SanDisk card youre buying. does a poor job, with pricing and markings that dont make sense. I do not recommend buying this product from , because its hard to know what youre buying.I hope youve enjoyed my test results. If you have a different camera model, such as a 5D Mark iii, do not assume that your results will be the same. Different camera models have different CPUs, so your performance may be very different.

It seems that the memory card has a problem. When I plug it in the camera the camera stops working. All I get is a blank screen and nothing works. I tried things that I found on the internet to fix the problem but none of them worked. When the card is removed the camera works just fine. Ive been using Extreme III CF cards at 30 Mbs for video capture. I frequently need to transfer the raw files to a computer at the end of the shoot and hoped this would speed up that task. Obviously, actual transfer speed is dependent on the connection between the card reader and and the computer, but I observed a great improvemnet. It took me only 2 minutes to transfer what had taken 8 minutes with the Extreme III card. BTW, the older cards, bought in 20092010 cost ea, so I consider this Pro card to be a real value The SanDisk reliability is demonstrated in that all 6 of my older cards are still in use. The one negative I noticed is that the Pro card does feel a lot warmer after being read than the older cards, so reliability may be more of an issue.

I had been using SD cards in my 5D3, but read that CF cards were quite a bit faster, so I bought this one for times when I need to shoot bursts. The difference between this and SD cards is amazing it formats in an instant and can shoot far more RAW photos in a burst before the camera starts to slow down. I prefer the convenience of SD cards since my laptop has a builtin reader for them whereas I have to use an adapter for this, but if speed is an issue, this is the best way to ensure that I dont miss the shot.

After having problems with another card I purchased this CF card. It works very well in both my D300 and D800 cameras. The speed for rapid shooting of action events is fantastic. at 6 frames per second I capture all of the motion and action of the events. I will likely purchase another card once I get more funds.

SanDisk is really the only brand of memory card I use with my Canon SLR. Over the years, I have the best luck with these as far as performing well and not losing anything, which has happened with other brands. There are some cheaper brands out there, but I think SanDisk is worth the extra price for peace of mind.

failed in a 5D3 while shooting in Tanzania. 5D mark iii had been serviced by canon days before and was running latest firmware version 1.3.3. After clicking to record some video, camera reported error saving file, then when I tried again it reported card corrupted. Lost some landscape photos of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Weather was humid and not too hot, low 80s less than 30. Couldnt recover with Data Rescue software. Camera worked flawlessly with Lexar 1066x and Komputerbay 1000x 64gb cards for the next 2 weeks in East Africa recording over 1000 photos and videos with no errors. Do not recommend this SanDisk 160MBs card. It feels like the manufacturer is using customers for QA. Card was picked up from BH on 9 Nov 2015 and failed on first use 15 Nov 2015.

Since my first DSLR Canon 20D, Ive always used SanDisk and have had zero issues with failures. I normally cap it at 32 GIG cards, so if there ever was a failure, I would at least minimize the lost files I would have. So far, all has been good for me. You got a good horse, you ride it.

I have been san disk for years with mu 20D,5D,5D Mark II 5D Mark IV. Never had a problem so I continue to use recommend everyone else should too. Years ago I saw a fellow bring a couple of disks in to a local camera store and ask if they could see if they could save any files as he had forgot about it and put it through the washer and dryer. I recently got an outrageous deal on a truly immaculate Nikon D3X, and have been having a blast shooting with it. It included two SanDisk 4GB cards, about 80 RAW files will fit on each one and immediately replaced them with 32GB cards. about 600 RAW files on each one Ive used these cards in Nikon cameras in the hot summer, the rain, and in temperatures down to 0 F, with no failures yet, and fast response. Bought it for my Canon 5DIV. Love the speed as its buffer is greater than SD cards which I use as a backup. As file sizes keep getting bigger and bigger find that I too need to adapt. Highly reccomend this as Ive never had any issues with Sandisk CF cards whereas I have 3 Lexars that died on me the past 2 years.

Sandisk Extreme Pro cards are very good and very reliable and I never had any problems with it so far and I totally rely on its Brand name and quality. I use CF cards as primary cards in my Nikon D 800 body and use the SD card as an over flow. I use the same capacity set of cards such as CF 32GB and SD 32 GB as a set or such as 16GBs. Pro CF cards has faster writing speeds than SD cards and hence I always use Sandisk Extreme POro cards as my primary cards. Its worth investing in it

I bought an Nikon D810 camera along with a 64gb card here, and I had to return the D810 because there were issue with the camera or maybe the card. The camera stopped working. I changed CF cards to see if it was the card, but it didnt change the camera not working err problem. Then I got a replacement D810 camera, used the same 64gb card, did fine today taking photos, but upon uploading, the card quit uploading half way through. Now Im thinking maybe the card is bad too. My nikon D4 says the 64gb card is not able to be read. First time my scandisk cards had an issue. I will send in for replacement since I just bought the card, hopefully scandisk will replace it. I still like the cards, but this one was a dud, which is why Im generous in giving it a 4star.

My Canon 5D ii wouldnt format this. I called SanDisk who said the camera was compatible and that I must have a defective part. Same deal with the replacement. At this point, I did some research and discovered that there was a firmware update to allow the 5D to use 128gb and 256gb CF cards. I installed this and…. same problem. In the end I formatted the card using my Mac and the camera seems to read and write to it. The only issue now is that the camera is showing 999 available shots. Im guessing it cant handle a four digit number. In the end, its just more confirmation that the Japanese camera manufacturers cant write software to save their lives

I shoot photos with a Nikon D810 DSLR camera. The D810 has two memory card slots one for SD cards, and the other for CompactFlash CF memory cards. CompactFlash is an old, outdated storage medium but if you still use a camera that requires it like the D810, the SanDisk Extreme Pro 128GB CompactFlash Memory Card is one of the best cards still on the market.I use this 128GB ExtremePro card as my primary storage card when shooting photos with my DSLR and I never have any issues or delays. I thankfully have never had one of these cards fail on me.

I had to get two of these to go with the used 5D Mark II I just purchased. I also purchased a card reader that will take this. You can also use the cable which came with this camera but also comes with most newer cameras. I can do either one now. I do not use Video so I cant speak to how this works with that. For stills its fine.

I use a Nikon D810. I was shooting small birds in flight at very high shutter speed and having buffering issues with just a normal memory card. The Compact Flash cards have much higher transfer speeds and I was not disappointed.

They are durable, they last and if you have problems retrieving data that is usually not a problem, nor has it ever been for me. Now their customer service number in India is another matter altogether. But for the piece of mind and money, San Disk memory cards is the best on the market.

I shoot a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV. This card holds up to 5,444 images shooting in highquality RAW, or 4,479 in HQ RAW and large JPG. Shooting at maximum speed 7fps at 1100, the card will write 30 HQ RAW continuous before buffering to about 1fps which it will sustain indefinitely. At 1400, this only decreases to 17 frames before buffering. The recovery time is also impressive, at only about 2.8 seconds to clear the buffer and restore fullspeed write capability.

Great product. I photograph birds in flight and on one outing ran out of space on my extreme pro and switched to another brand memory card I had with me. I immediately noticed a drop in write speed and missed more than a few shots that I cant get back. Wont leave home without my Extreme pro.

This is the best CF card Ive used, hands down. The readwrite speeds make short work of card dumps and help keep my workflow steadily moving. The cards themselves are incredibly reliable in all weather conditions from the terribly humid to the dryasabone. I used these cards for burst shooting because the buffer is excellent but I primarily purchased them for filming with my 5D Mark III w ML hack and the 169 1920×1080 14bit video means sometimes Im recording 115 MBs. These cards have never let me down, never dropped a single frame and I can also record uncompressed .wav files along side them. I never hesitate to recommend the exact SanDisck CF cards to those I feel would benefit them, or other, less intense SanDisk CF cards to those who dont need such blistering readwrite speeds.

I havent had any file corruption issues either although I wish like on older ScanDisk cards there was a line to label or put a name or identity on. Otherwise great purchase and Id buy again.

Eight months ago I took a bird workshop and came prepared with four 16 gig cards. We were fortunate to have great bird activity and I wound up with not enough memory. I was lucky to be able to buy two more 16 gig cards and thought that would do it. Things got even better the next day and I ran out of memory AGAIN. So, as soon as I could, I bought two 64 gig Extreme Pro cards. I shoot all day now, usually without having to change cards, and with these blazing fast write speeds I have never yet had to wait for buffering to catch up, and Im shooting at 6 fps more often than not. Worrying about memory just doesnt exist anymore. This was a good decision.

The card will not format. I have several of these that work fine this one seems to just be a bad one. Contacted BH about the faulty card. Havent received a response. Its a shame because they are normally great about getting back in touch. If you get a good one I have no complaints. If its not it can be a real headache.

We have used the 16gb versions of this card without issue in our Canon 5D MKIII since we bought it in 2013. Late last year we picked up a couple of the 32gb versions for additional capacity. After the first use I noticed glitches in some of the video clips as well as still images. I reformatted the card thinking this would fix the issue it did not. The same thing happened on the next shoot. The problem was intermittent but happened enough that we couldnt trust the card. I put the card back into the bag and forgot about it until I noticed that the 1 year warranty was about to expire. I sent the cards back to SanDisk and they exchanged them for 2 new ones. Again, we had the same issues with the replacements. I am not sure if this is some sort of compatibility problem with the camera or a common problem with this particular model of card. I called Canon support and they blamed the card.
