Im just an occasional gamer so didnt want to spend alot of money. However, Im impressedI tried them out first just as music headphones and was amazed at the crisp, clear sound and deep bass.I then used them for online game play and the game sound, and communication between players was equally impressive. I could hear other players clearly, and they reported that sound coming from my end was clear as well. Very comfortable and easily adjustable. The microphone also swings out of the way and mutes at the same time. Ear pieces rotate for additional comfort.Although they may not be 200 gaming headphones they sound GREAT for the money. I recommend them

Good headset, both providing better sound than my laptop builtin mic and speakers and getting rid of echoes during meetings.Had a problem the second time I used it with Webex somehow the mic gain got dialed way down and nobody could hear me. The problem didnt recur and I think it was probably something else in my setup and not the headset. Customer support was pretty responsive about the issue, even though ultimately it was probably not an issue with their product.I find it just a little uncomfortable to wear for really long periods like after 3 hours, Thats the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.It uses a 4pole mic stereo audio miniphono plug. I prefer this setup to a USB connection because I am sending video in and out through an ethernet USB adaptor and I dont want to take more USB bandwidth just for my own sound. Theres also an adapter to use it with a desktop with separate headphone and mic jacks.

I had an old Panasonic set of headphones which I cast off my head a while ago in a fit of pique. Never remove your headphones in a fit of pique. The results can be expensive. In this case, they broke, which I was only half sad about, because the faux leather finish on the padding had almost all flaked off. So to cut a long story short, I bought these ones. Ive had them for about a month, and nothing is flaking or breaking, so they earn at least one star for that. The sound quality is pretty good, as far as my aging ears can tell. Im no expert, but the headphones deliver a fairly rich and deep sound, so theres two more stars right there. The microphone works with no distortion that I can hear, but its not super sensitive either. You might need to bend it in as close to your mouth as you can if you have a quiet voice. One more star for the mike. The headphones are comfortable theres a bit of weight in them, but its not oppressive. Id say they were value for money good, but they havent set the world on fire.

These headphones work great. I have tested them with pc gaming and console gaming and they work great for both. The headphones can plug into an audio jack or with the included adapter they can also be plugged in through USB. I havent noticed any difference in sound quality between the two options. The headphones are comfortable to wear, even for many hours at a time. They are adjustable as well. These headphones did not feel too tight or cause earhead pain as some other headsets do. The microphone flips up to mute it or flips down to use. My friends said that the sound quality of my voice was very good when using these headphones. Overall I recommend these headphones if you are looking for a new wired headset.

This headset is awesome. I started playing video games again and knew I had to get one of these to improve the experience. I was shocked at how many different headset options there were and went with this one as I was worried about the quality of the 2030 ones and all the reviews suggested that for 50 this headset was at least close enough to the quality of some of the 100 range headsets.Super easy to use. Just plug into the Xbox controller and youre ready to rock. Most importantly my KD improved by probably 0.50 when I started playing COD with a headset. no joke.

These are my gaming headset so I do not have anything to compare them to. I followed the reviews about this headset from the other people that were kind enough to leave detailed reviews. Ive waited a month to give a review because I wanted to see if 1. how the company described them was accurate 2. how the better reviews corresponded to the headset and 3. how I liked using them.I will start with saying these are very, very comfortable. Though you do get a warm sensation when using them for long periods your head doesnt get hot around the ears. The headset is also lightweight and doesnt squeeze your head. The speakers and mic are great. You really can hear everything going on in the game. There has not been any complaint from others about hearing me clearly or feedback.I play with an XBOX One and my older controllers have the 3.5 jack to plug into so I didnt need to purchase additional pieces to connect. Now that Im okay playing with a headset I do wish I opted for a wireless headset, the cord can be a little annoying at times. All thing considered these are a great starter headset. They dont have a cheap feel, The performance is excellent and the price is unbeatable.

These headsets Are real good for the price , I received Them pretty fast on Standard shipping Just two days . The headsets installed real real easy just plug in the USB adapter Turned on the headsets and 5 seconds later working perfectly . Did have to go to sounds and set them as the default Headset. They are very comfortable if you have a size 7 or 8 Head size The headsets will be a little bit loose if youre lying down On your back or your stomach they will tend to slide back And forth A little bit From moving your head up or down from that position . Wish that they could be adjusted to be a little bit more tight . The sound is good and loud Pretty good Base but not loud enough to hurt you ears . The automatic shut off Unfortunately for me It is a little bit inconvenient , after about 5 minutes of no sound they turn off even if youre speaking threw the Microphone When typing using the speech recognition software of your PC you see Im disabled and I cant Use my hands to turn them back on wish they had an option to set automatic shutoff on or off . Anyway to get around it I have to have music play in the background Battery life is good Ive used them from 12.00 PM to about 600 AM before putting them to charge 2 hours for me . Other than that These headsets are real good I would recommend Them to anyone .

I really wish I had bought these sooner. I was tired of ripping my head off or my headphone jack every time I moved too far. These are a great fix. Pretty good range too. And the battery is lasting a lot longer between charges than I would have expected. I think I have had to charge them twice so far. Very Impressed.Overall, great battery life, super comfortable, and a very affordable price. I definitely recommend these

Two years ago I got this headset as a Christmas present, and let me say it was the greatest part of my setup for that 2 years. Even today the audio quality and the mic quality are exactly the same, and the only thing that is truly different is the fact that the ear cups are peeling a little but thats to be expected from 2 years of almost daily use and abuse to the headset. This thing has been thrown across rooms, transported across countries, smashed in backpacks and the whole nine yards and its still working beautifully. I decided to upgrade to a more expensive bluetooth headset recently I kept running over the cords of this one and it was making the mic quieter, and all I talked about before the new headset was leaving a 5 review for this bad boy. If you are looking for a headset on the cheaper side of the spectrum you literally cannot go wrong with the HyperX Cloud Stinger. Worth every single penny. Its been comfortable for 16 hour runs of games, the audio never fails no matter how loud or soft you have it. Oh, and even if you have a small head it works fine only really falls off if you try to headbang it off. One tip try not to run over the cord too much with your chair D

The sound quality especially 7.1 surroud is good but the bass needs improvement. Although my 10year old son loves them as is. Its light weight and the fit is perfect to your head average to big and it doesnt feel tightuncomfortable BUT you cant flipturn when you have them in your neck. The build quality is not topnotch and flimsy. The cushions are good. The battery lasts 35 days of average few hours of gaming and video calls. The bluetooth connection is flawless, no skipping no missing Overall its good but for the price, its little expensive considering the quality as mentioned above.

The long wire splitter connection makes it very easy for it to get caught on things, so Id been careful not to move around too much, but I guess something mustve pulled anyway as it started acting up on me and now my mic no longer works. It worked great for a month and I was really happy with it, but then the connection between the headphones and the splitter cord required to plug into the computer tower started acting up and its pretty much worthless to me now as I bought it for the mic. I can only use the mic now if I carefully hold the two cords in a sweet spot for the entire time I want to talk.I bought a new splitter thinking that was the issue and no, same issue. Im assuming something got loose or pulled within the main wire on the mic side. I have no idea if theres a way to replace the main wire as its not detachable from the headphones or even where I could take it in. If anyone knows, please let me know as buying a whole new headset is expensive and Id be afraid of the same thing happening.Unfortunately, this happened after the return date so Im stuck with them. The sole reason I bought these were for the mic, so thats why I gave it such a low rating. When it was working properly, it worked well, so Ill give them that.

Purchased this headset for my highschooler for gaming. He already had the wired version of this headset for a little over a year, and loved the quality but was getting the wire so twisted that it was almost to the breaking point. And the twisties were shortening the cable to the point of affecting his ability to sit a comfortable distance from the screen. This wireless set solves that problem and still sounds great He says he can never go back now. I agree, the sound quality, including the microphone, is excellent, and you cant beat the convenience. And there is no perceptible lag in audio response time which is critical for gaming

First of all let me start by saying that Steelseries has their gaming audio down more than any other gaming peripheral company.Pros1. For the price they are really good.2. They are comfortable for long sessions3. Audio cues are good locating whether enemy is on the right or left4. Good foldable design with splitter provided.CONS1. Audio is not as loud as I want it to be. Even max volume is too low2. My 4 year old steelseries Siberia V1 gives better gaming audio .3. Sound leaks outside the headphones.4. Cable is thin and looks like it wont last a long time .5. Mic often gives disturbance to teammates in game chat6. Geek point vertical audio is not good at all.Notes These hyperX stingers that I bought was because my favourite streamer shroud uses a pair from the same brand although more expensive. I use these daily and they are good for casual gaming. But if there is a Siberia on sale I suggest you get that and thank me later

A friend bought this for me as a gift to replace my spotty current headset… and these are horrendous. They fit fine, and arent uncomfortable, but they dont work. In one of my PS4 controllers, they produce no sound or micpickup at all, and in my other controller, only the left ear and mic work, but the right ear doesnt work at all. Further, the sound is very soft and awful quality, even with the volume at max. I dont know if theyd work better with a Xbox or PC, but Im a PS gamer, and these just dont work. Whether my pair is defective, or they really are just bad headphones, I cant say, but Im not interested in getting another pair to find out.

So my boyfriend and I both game on Xbox and its how we met. We moved in together and both decided it would be time to acquire new headsets as a treat yo self mindset. He got another kind shortly before I decided to purchase this. And as saying in the title, he wishes he had purchased this one. We love it, my brother visited and he loved it. Its comfortable to wear for long periods of time, the cups go over the ears and dont smoosh them against your skull, I dont think it makes my head too hot and I have very long hair, and no battery Thats what gets my boyfriend about his he always forgets to charge his headset battery and therefore cant use it when he needs it so he needs to steal mine. Now hes talking about getting his own and Im like you mean I get the new one now that youve stretched this one out, right Ive never been very invested in sound quality or paid attention to mic quality, but he swears the sound is superior and the mic picks his voice up better than the Turtle Beach headset he got. I believe I had gotten this when it was on sale so it had a really good value at the time. I have no complaints and its been having joint usage for months now.

I consider this a beginner headset. I have an older Turtle Beach Ear Force Delta. It has surround sound and you can hear yourself in the headset when you talk. The volume of this headset is VERY low coming out of an xBox One controller. The sound is only stereo and you cant hear yourself in the headset when taking in the mic, which is annoying.Bottom line If you arent used to high quality surround sound, and you dont mind the fact that there is no feedback from the mic back into the headset, for the price, these are a good headset. I didnt want to pay an exorbitant amount and replace my Turtle Beach headset, but unless I get a special cable, I cant chat while playing. So, I got these for when I play with my son who lives out of town, and when I play without chatting, I use the Turtle Beach headset.

These headphones are definitely a steal, for the price you get a decent pair of over the ear headphones that have very good sound quality. I do have some beef with them, they are a bit loose fitting, I can shake my head and they would fall off, however these arent really for active wear.Lets be honest here, youre looking at this review because you dont have a bunch of money to blow on a 250 pair of gaming head phones, I think I got these for like 4550. Discord calls are a breeze and these have good bass to them too, I could easily wear these things for a whole gaming session with the boys.Highly recommend

Bought 2 of these so I know that its not a oneoff issue. Sound is really nice, wireless works and is plug and play though special driversoftware is available. Only tested with PC cant verify PS4 comparability. Headset is comfortable note ear cups do not rotate but headband does expand with sliders.Mic slides up to mute which is nice, though once or twice i found it didnt actually mute me.My only gripe with this headset was i had to put the mic basically up to my lips in order to be heard but if i let me voice get even a slight bit below outdoor loud talking words wouldnt get picked up by the mic. The volume is FAR below the volume of the HyperX Cloud Stinger wired model that i currently use. This caused most of the ends of my sentences to get cut off since it wasnt picking it up.The only benefit is if you are a loud talker this isnt a big issue I could hear my dad just fine since he is loud. The mic does cut out a lot of background noise due to it not picking up anything that isnt like loud right on it which is a perk.Personally, I didnt want to have to practically shout to be heard on discord or zoom even with input and Microsoft input volumes boosted all the way up it was still quietNote when testing discord by listening to the mic trying to troubleshoot issues I found that there was also a bit of lag. I didnt notice it with gaming sounds but the mic does have a lag. Not sure its really that bad of a lag but figured id note it.Overall I was disappointed in this headset because I really love my wired cloud stinger and was hoping for the same quality in this model but the mic quality just isnt there for me.

bought these looking for something to replace my Turtle Beach Stealth 450s that I was going to give my 10yr old because they plug and play nintendo switch dock. they have good sound. had mic registering issues for discord. wore them for about 2 hours at work testing out the sound then about 30 minutes at home and ended up keeping the 450s and giving her the stingers. the cups hurt my ears and I cant handle the mic not picking up when I talk. The software that they have is a joke all you can do is turn on and off 7.1 and turn up the mic and sound on the set.My 10yr old daughter loves them and the fact that they are wireless and work with her nintendo switch dock.TLDREar cups are small and hurt after wearing for 30 minutes good for kids as they fit tight and cover the ears, battery life was just ok, will plug and play with the nintendo switch dock, and the flip the mic to mute is cool feature. overall overpriced for what you get.for 1020 bucks more get yourself a corsairrazersteelseries.

I have owned a pair of these for around a week now. I purchased them so I could chat to my friends online while we play games on our off time. I found them to be great for talking to friends and I enjoy the great sounds coming from them. A benefit is that they are 7.1 channel surround head phones with well designed speakers. I find the swivel for the microphone to be confusing as I am unsure if the mic is on or off and also the powering on and off is a bit strange. I also seem to manage to adjust the sound on the couch when I am rested back against it. Otherwise these are a great buy at a perfect price point for someone wanting to get online and chat to their friends.

I think this is the best budget gaming headset ANYONE can buy on the market. The sound quality is better then in my old beats. I thought that the headset would be light weight plastic and would have 0 durability but I was wrong, this is the most stable, durable, light weight headset with amazing bass and overall good sound quality. I bought this headset about 2 months ago and they are in good shape. I got this on sale for 55 Canadian and I highly recommend that you should buy this if you dont know what kind of headphones you want. These are good for listening to music, gaming, chatting with friends, and I think that the mic on this headset is good for the price range. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A BETTER HEADSET AND YOU HAVE MORE OF A BUDGET, STILL CONSIDER THE HyperX because I think that this is better overall then any other brand or price of headsets. And no, I dont work at best buy and Im not promoting sales. just recommending.

I was looking to replace a corded headset that I used for WebEx, Teams, and Skype calls. When using the previous set I constantly got remarks about muffled sound and poor voice quality. These are great Excellent sound and voice. Charge easily lasts all day with hours of conference calls. Flip up microphone automatically mutes you on calls. Wireless allows you to get up and easily move around. Padded ear pieces block outside noise well. They do take some getting used to because they are heavier than your typical office headset. But well worth it

Bought this headset for console gaming to replace a set of earbuds I had been using. Ive always had an issue with headsets being uncomfortable after an hour or two but this has to be one of the most comfortable sets Ive ever used 3 hours and I cant even tell theyre on my head, even while wearing glasses. The sound is good… but not great. Its slightly tinny and occasionally the mix of distant sounds are drowned out by things happening closer to the character. The one real complaint I have is that the volume adjustment slider is kind of a pain to use buttons would have been a much better choice. The volume also barely adjusts until you reach the top 13 of the slider and I keep mine at 78 with the console volume turned all the way up. Overall its well worth the 50, especially for single player gaming, but Im not sure I would want to use these competitively.

It has a USBA receiver that you plug into any empty port. Then it blinks red. Then you turn on your headset with the button on the left headphone. Then 5 seconds later it all works. On PS5 and Switch it works straightaway. On PC, I would recommend rightclicking on the volume control icon at the bottom right corner. Then click Open Sound Settings andFirst choose your Output device as the Hyper Xthen change the Input device to Hyper X.Then go to to the hyperx website and download HyperX NGENUITY software.Install and open it then click on your headset under Connected Productsand put a tick in 7.1 Surround Sound. This will permanently increase the quality of the audio. And slide your microphone volume to max. Then close software. And everything should be working perfectlyThe audio is clear and very tactile with blocking out external noise. Its easy to turn on and off and to plug n play connect to any consolepc. The audio is solid with 7.1 turned on with NGENUITY software. The headset range is long you can go to the bathroom and listen to audiobooks on the toilet. Its so good that I bought another for a relative.

I will swear by these things forever.I picked up my first pair on sale thinking they would be a good small time use pair until I could blow 200 on a new pair…….I used them for 3 years.I have only ever had to replace them once, and I made the mistake of getting a pair other than these, I quickly came back. These are perfect for people with big heads. The side volume rocker is really well made. The mic that mutes when flipped up is a really convenient touch, and even without a pop filter these things dont pick up much wind or background noise.THE MOST IMPORTANT PART is that they have metal sizer joints. The number one place I have had breaks on even the most expensive headphones is in the size adjusters. These are strong built metal and will not snap easily upon drops. That is a very very important feature.

I purchased 3 of these in August. Two for middle school aged kids and one for my wife. After 5 months of daily use for distance learning, my daughter complained that hers was emitting static noise. I gave her my Cloud II headset and told her not to be so rough with them. Then I took my wifes headset which she used maybe once a week for a 1 hr conference call. Then hers died too. With hers the right speaker went out altogether and the left was barely audible. I know rough usage was not a factor with the second set failing. With 2 out of 3 it seems like these are just prone to failure. Will go with a different brand for the replacements.

Finally my old pair of headset finally broke, so a hunt for a new headset began. The HyperX Cloud Stinger really caught my eye for the budget that I was aiming for, and had the best reviews plus to top it all off it was on special as wellBeen using it for nearly a month now, and I am extremely happy with my purchase. I specifically used this headset for my PC only, but the headset can be connected to the other console gaming devises like your XBOX andor Playstation so thats a good surprise to know. Also the sound quality is amazing As single gaming mother of two children under 10, this headset really does block out the external noises and made me forget I had children in the house with me for example if my children are fighting there were a couple of incidents where I didnt hear them at all. I have to have the volume on the lowest setting or have the headset around my neck just so I can keep an eye and listening on them.I recommend this headset to any and all gamer ladies and gent in the collective who are looking for good quality headset just like you would pay for an highend quality headset without breaking the bank.

The old version of this headset was great, however this version is absolutely terrible and a downgrade in every way. It feels beyond cheap, even though its the same price as the old version. The headset squeaks whenever you move a tiny bit, there is no audio feedback when you put the mic up there used to be a click. You can no longer rotate the ear muff things you could on the old one. Cushion material is worse than the old fake leather. The plastic feels really hollow and cheap. Really dont know why they changed it, because before they had a great wireless headset for the same price. Now its really bad and Im just going to return mine for a different brand. There are better headsets out there for slightly more moneysame price.

You would think with such a big brand name in gaming like HyperX that their products would be a certain level of quality.I have had to RMA this headset 3 times because it stopped emitting sound. The last RMA they sent me the mic did not work out of the box and a few days later the headphones just stopped emitting sound altogether.I will never buy an HyperX product again. Do yourself a favor and buy a pair of real high end headphones if you care that much about quality, or just go spend 2030 on a no name brand of gaming headphones, youll probably get better longevity out of them. The cheapo ones i bought for my son has outlasted this headset by far.

I recently added an external microphone to improve the audio quality when I conference. It did a great job, but occasionally I cant use the external powered speakers microphone. When the landscapers mow, trim, and blow the clippings just a few feet outside of my window, it is pretty noisy. I bought the wireless clamshell headphones with a boom mike for those occasions. It has a range of perhaps 15 or 20 feet does not do well around corners or through walls. Sound quality is very good. Since I dont use it often, I have not had much real life feedback from those on the receiving end yet, particularly during high noise outside times, but I am sure it will be better than before. I like the recharge feature uses the same cord as my phone so I dont mess with batteries. One thing I have noticed is that I cant leave it on all the time, because if it is on, I dont hear when my VoIP phone Skype rings unexpectedly it only rings in the headphones. So, I unplug the USP transmitter unit and leave it unplugged unless I plan to use it, and that is fine for me.

Didnt really like this product because of the mic quality. Everyone said that it sounded very muffled and I would have to put my mic close to my mouth. Even then, discord and teamspeak dont seem to pic up the audio either. The headset sound and wireless convenience makes it the only thing thats good about it, but the mic was the reason I bought it.A difference I saw was that I ended up returning this and buying the cloud alpha, which was wired but, the audio and eveyrthing works, like it should. Also the box that comes with it, says that its verified for discord, teamspeak, Skype etc. while this box that comes with the cloud stinger core, is very basic with some Instructions. For 87.99 , this is not worth it. Hyperx would rather u spend a little more for more quality.

The cloud Stinger is a great gaming headset that can last year. I bought a cloud stinger in 2017 and have loved it since. The great sound quality and clear microphone are great features and the great cable adds onto it. The cable does not tangle and the mic can bend to your liking. The reason I am about to buy a new headset is due to the cable at the bottom started to get a bit loose and was loosing connection every once in a while. The cups started to wear but only started about 1 month ago and also the very front part of the mic started to break but I have to put it back on each time I play, but still works. I will upgrade to another hyper x headset, maybe the cloud alpha, just because ei love their product. Overall, The hyperx Cloud Stinger is a great headset for its price and highly recommend. 1010

Ive had my fair share of headsets, used cheap ones and expensive ones. These HyperX Cloud Stinger are by far the best headsets for the money you pay. The comfort of the memory foam is above average. They sit well and do not hurt the ears after hours of gaming. Surround sound is above average as well. Leave the expensive headsets for pro gamers these right here are what you need for your here and there matches with friends and that one occasional night you get to play for more than 3 hours.

Pros This is a better headset from my previous 30 turtle beach that I had. I have used these headset when working from home and being in long meetings and need to work on my laptop etc. The most important part is not for me is with the turtle beach listeners would say that the voice was booming and and loud. With this one they said it is bearable. So a step up from before. As I do not like additional fancy connectors that improve the product, like in turtle beach which needs power blah blah blah. This one you have a more basic option behind the ear cup. Moving the mic up to mute is a good feature. Still getting used to it but you get the feeling that it might not be mute. Also if you have to do it 10 times in a 30 minute call, Im not sure how long it will last. All in all, a good buy.Cons Like most of these headsets, the 3.5mm pin connector is soft and doggy. Ive no idea why these companies do not invest in this basic point of failure. The other headsets I have had like the turtle beach also broke at the same point.

This is a real decent headset. For the price, Ill give it four stars. The sound is surprisingly good, much better than what Ive heard coming from Beats. I wouldnt call these an accurate studio monitor headset, but for playing games and getting on calls theyre perfect. I did compare these to my more expensive studio headset and theyre not bad. I can bear to listen to music and all other audio through them These were recommended to me and I bought because there was splitter for headphones and mic for older computers. It adds a good length to the cord too. I just wish they were a little tighter. They feel kinda loose. Not a huge problem, at least my head isnt hurting from it squeezing too hard. I like how you cant physically mute the mic by flipping the mic to abs out of the way. Honestly I didnt want to spend more than this for a headset, so this is probably one of your best options at this price

This is probably the best gaming headset you can find for under 50.It comes with a single 3.5 mm jack for use with Xbox, Switch, PS4, etc that is permanently attached. It also comes with an extension cable that splits it into headphone and microphone 3.5 mm jacks for use with a PC.Its very comfortable and lightweight. Microphone is always attached and selfmutes when it is raised up.Sound is relatively clear, especially given the price point. Used in FPS gaming It will provide good directionality as long as your sound card supports it.The microphone is clear enough, again taking into consideration the price point.Summary this is probably the best headset you can get for under 50. If you pay attention, you can often find it on sale for around 3035… At which its essentially a must buy even to have as a backup.

I purchased these to establish a better connection for my Remote Desktop setup. My previous set of HyperX wired headphones were getting in the way. I enjoyed the brand and low price that day so I chose these over the Corsair. If I would have waited the Corsair went on sale the next day. And they were the same price with RGB. I would of returned these except for the COVID no return policy.I really enjoy the sound and vocal quality of these headsets. This one seemed to work a lot better than the previous one, even though its wireless. What I didnt like is the mesh ear cushions. They didnt feel as good as the faux leather. Good thing they are swappable. Also, the mic does flip upward to turn off but there was no noticeable click for the on off. I miss that with my other headset.

I love this headset, to the point where Ive bought it for my mother and my nephew. Its audio quality is amazing for the price and its durability makes it such a good deal. Pair this with best buys warranty, and I can guarantee that for long term use as a main headset you will not be disappointed. The only gripe I have is my sweaty head makes the earpads uncomfortable, but definitely not as bad as some other headphones out there. The cable extension makes it nice to use if your PC is far away and detachable if you want to use it with your phone moving around and whatnot.

ive had them for about two weeks so far, heres my thoughtsPros they sound very good they are comfortable to wear i like that the mic flips up and down to mute range is pretty good battery life is admirable for the price they are, they are definitely one of the best wireless pc ps4 headsets on the market right nowcons despite them sounding good, the volume is a bit low even at max volume. they are comfortable but maybe not over very long extended periods of time though i have not found many headphones that are the mic flips up and down to mute but there is no feedback to tell you when its muted unmuted in fact there are no voice prompts or anything, just a short beep for on off they feel very cheap, like they could break at any moment. the plastic feels hollow and i cant imagine these will last longer than a year or so. the software is extremely lackingi had the corsair HS70s for almost 2 full years and they finally started breaking on me so I decided to replace them with the Corsair Void RGB Elite. the Void RGB Elites sounded amazing, and the mic was good, build quality is great but right out of the box they had software issues like the left ear cutting out and it autoshutting down while music was playing. I was having to restart the software like 3 times a day just to keep the headset from shutting off during gaming sessions. Also, they were very loose on my head, and i have a pretty big head. I decided to give these a try instead of those, and honestly i am satisfied with them more despite their flaws. These do not offer anything special but they work and they work well.

I got this headset to replace my corded headset I use for 10 daily Zoom , Teams, and Webex meetings.Heres the good points1 The sound quality is excellent and crystal clear.2 The maximum wireless distance is 20feet.3 The headset is comfortable and does not feel heavy.4 If you only want to listen to music, play games and totally shutout the world, this headset is perfect for just that. Here are my issues1 Beyond 20feet you cant hear the meeting or be heard.2 The headset totally blocks all outside noise, so I cant even hear my cell phone ring when its sitting right next to me.3 There isnt a voice feedback loop into the headset which is standard on every cell phone, so you cant even hear yourself talk in a meeting. So I dont really know if other folks are hearing me or not. I have to actually remove the headset partially to even hear my own voice. My voice sounds muffled to me because of this. This is the stupidest thing the designers did to screwup these headphones.4 This headset is not good at all for carrying on a dialog in a meeting.5 The headset shuts itself off in 5 minutes to save battery life even if the headset is fully charged. So if someone calls you via Zoom, it takes 10 seconds to turn it on to answer the call by which time theyve hung up6 The same green light is used for the onoff indicator and for charging, so when the headset is charging you might think its on, too but its actually off. You have to unplug the charging cable to make sure the headset is working.

This is my first set of headphones for my xbox one. I watched atleast 10 YouTube reviews comparing various budget friendly headsets at around the 50 mark. This headset was one of the common ones being reviewed by several different reviewers. I decided to get these as they seemed to be recommended the most for the price. They are very comfortable and my friends say they have no problem understanding me through the mic. I love how you simply raise the mic up in order to mute it. Also I really like that the volume control is on the bottom of the earphone and not the cable itself. Also I like that the ear phones also swivel to better fit each persons head shape.I am very pleased with this purchase.

This headset is perfect for a casual gamer, it has a flip up mic for easy muting if on a call, is wireless, so no need for extraneous cables, and is at an affordable price point. The Bluetooth range is not bad as I can leave the room and still hear whats playing. The sound has more emphasis on the high end compared to my previous Razer headset, and I can hear small details better than before. My only complaint is that the headset is on the lighter side, and it may come as cheaply made to some. This lightness is good for longer sessions however.

I got the headphones today. Very comfortable over the ear headphones. The memory foam is very comfortable. And the sound quality is also good. But I think that the volume of the headphones is less compared to others below the budget as well. But that doesnt cause much of a problem. The headphones provide good base and rich tones to the sound quality. The headphones are light, but made of plastic, which acts like a double edged sword. It might break if it falls…Now lets talk about the noise cancellation. To be honest, I couldnt find any button or switch or slider on the headphone which could activate the feature. So I have no clue about that

I use these primarily for discord and games, so I typically wear them for hours at a time. The padding is comfortable and the rotating ear cups makes it easy to adjust it to only have one ear covered. The mic also automutes when it is turned all the way up, which is a very nice addition. Under the right ear cup there is a slider that adjusts the volume. I have accidentally slid it all the way to zero a few times when putting the headphones on or adjusting them, but its an easy enough fix. The included wire splitter to make the sound and mic inputs separate is very long, probably longer than the cord on the headphones. I am able to tuck the excess under my pc tower, but I would assume the extra length would be useful for someone who is not right next to their tower. I can also plug the headphones into my laptop without the splitter and it works just as well. Overall, I think these headphones are well worth the price.

With all meetings being virtual, and being a casual gamer after hours, I needed something that would be comfortable over long periods and serve more than one purpose. For the price, this covers it all. Comfortable to wear for hours without causing headaches, audio on the distant end is heard clearly, and the wireless functionality is great when I pace or need to run into another room for a drink or to grab something. The 7.1 is meh, but I also dont have much experience with any of the highend products in this category. The flip up to mute feature is an awesome one to have, but have had a couple of times that the mute would happen at the start of the meeting without ever flipping up. Unsure if software issue or something with the headphones.Biggest complaint is the software is garbage and never discovered the headphones, so I uninstalled. As a possible result, I now have no idea how much battery is in the headset at any given time, so I randomly charge just to be safe. Never had it die on me though and I will go through daylong sessions with this device. All in all, would still purchase again for the price.

Great product according to my 11 year old son who is a gamer and a homeschool student. Would recommend as it functions for our needs and is durable and was easy to set up and purchasing was no problem. Quick pickup and no problems so far. Affordable and has survived the boys abuse lol. Four stars because if you spent a little more on upgraded version I would have, had I not been privy to before I purchased this one. Popped up as option after registration. Weird.

Wireless headphones with okay sound out of the box. You have to install the NGENUITY software from their website to experience the 7.1 surroundThe wireless range is probably about 15 ft open space.I was sold by the flipuptomute microphone, however, the microphone is SUPER quiet, even after messing with windows settings. I have to repeat myself in voice chat and am constantly reminded You sound really far away. The NGENUITY software has a Microphone slider, but maxed out, it made no difference. The headset also lacks SideTone being able to hear yourself speak which is a feature I particularly love to have in a headset, not that the mic picks up my voice anyway.I cannot recommend these for the price, and will be returning mine.

I bought two of these from Bestbuy, but onlu opened one. Man, these are not comfortable at all. I bought some Amazon Vankyo 7.1 Gaming headsets, and they are more comfortable than this those were cheaper compared to this full retail. Even though BestBuy did price match, Ill probably return these. Also, the sound isnt anything great. Youll probably get equal sound quality with some Iphone headphones. Wired is usually better than wireless, but the Steelseries Arctis 1 wireless headsets I bought sound better than these. I dont recommend this at full retail price. Oh yeah, theyre plastic, and if you read reviews, you might steer clear of this.

Been using their cloud stingers since 2015 then I saw that they had a wireless pair. Once my cloud stingers passed away RIP I decided to get this headset. Felt a little cheaper than the previous pair, lost the ability to swivel the ear cups, but that same design was there, and the speakers were awesome for the price.Hyper X doesnt disappoint me. Yeah feels a bit cheap, light as well, but thats quality you get for this price range.I definitely recommend it if youre not a heavy gamer and just looking for causal wireless play.Pretty dope.

Great gaming headphones. Sound quality is really good. Pretty comfortable for long gaming nights with glasses. Fantastic value for the price I would seriously pay 100 for these and I got them for half of that. I dont think its advertised as sound proof but it sorta is, so a lot of the times I play with only one ear on so I can hear whats going on in my house. microphone had some problems at first but after getting used to it and adjusting settings on my Xbox it works good. I like these so much that I use them as regular headphones when listening to music on my phone around the house. The only con is that the cord is kind of sticky and comes unplugged a lot when moving around. I accidently yanked the cord out of my controller or phone multiple times but so far no problems. One other minor complaint is that the sound has to be nearly all the way up on both the headsets and the Xbox for friends to hear you and vice versa. I bought two different turtle beach headsets before this one and had to return both right away, one was uncomfortable as hell and the others mic broke the first day I had it. These blow the turtle beaches out of the water. I have had these for almost 6 months and have never had a problem. I dont write a lot of reviews although I read a lot before buying them and the reviews were right, best gaming headset under 60 bucks. I have actually been recommending these to friends that I game with that have crappy headsets because I love these things. For the price you cannot beat it.

Great headphones. Never have any lag issues with them, and I can walk far away from my computer with them and not loose connection. There are nights where I forget to plug them in and I still dont have to worry about running out of juice to get me through the next day. Ear pads are extremely comfortable around my ears, and the padding on top increases the comfort even more. Great audio quality for gaming, music, or even just talking with people. Mic is good, but does not always pick up my voice if I am talking to quietly

At the time of writing I spent 29 for this headset. You really get your moneys worth with this headset. I have spent the last 4 hours with this headset on and it doesnt it feel like its been on my head this long. I have a big head as well so you would think that it might feel uncomfortable. NOPE, its still plenty comfortable. This headset is super universal. It works with my Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and my Alienware laptop. This headset comes with a splitter that separates the audio and mic into 2 separate wires that you can plug into a desktop pc. Or if you have a laptop like my Alienware, my laptop has 2 separate ports. 1 for audio and 1 for mic. This is really great that it came with the splitter.OVERALL Good solid 4 out of 5 stars. No 5 star because it isnt the absolute best in terms of quality. It feels like it could break easily so Im being extra careful with this headset just in case it does break easy.

Pros Easy to set up Good sound Good voice pick up Comfortable to wear even with glasses.Very impressed, needed a wireless headset for calls during lockdown as the standard issue company ones were too light weight and uncomfortable. I found that this was a good midrange priced headset that was completely wireless and ticked the boxes for what I needed. I have used it only on a PC for calls, music YouTube. Is pretty loud at max volume and doesnt distort. The mic picks up my voice easily but also filters out back ground noise. Its good to wear for long periods and it is comfortable Doesnt crush your ears and is heavy enough to stay firmly on but not so heavy that it is uncomfortable.Cons Raising the boom to mute. Id prefer a button. This is only a minor quibble, I knew that this was the function before buying, so Id not mark it down for that at all. Its just a personal preference.

Was in the market for a new set of HyperX headphones after I built my new PC. I walked in and the sales rep was very knowledgeable on the type that i wanted. Wireless was a must and they had to have a decent range since I like to get up and go to the kitchen during a game with my friends and still want to talk. Yes Im fat when i game.. lol. Overall a great set and i would recommend it to anyone. My only issue though is when i was in class for two weeks and had these on about 8hrs a day for 10 days it became a little uncomfortable. again if youre doing extensive gaming you are probably better off getting a set with memory foam around the ears but thats my own opinion.

First of all i would like to say this is my first hyperx product and my expectations are not disappointed. When i got the headphones immediately i played AC Odessey for 5 hours and i didnt even feel the headphones on my head. Such a nice comfort and pure audio quality from cloud stinger. I would recommend beginners to blindly go for it if you wish to play more than few hours without any discomfort.1. The cable length is okie but with the extended cable provided, length will not be you concern anymore.2. Worth paying for the headphones and it will be your good investment.3. I hope the durability also never be disappointed.Overall it is cool Thanks to Hyperx and ClickElectronics.

I was looking to purchase a headset for the office primarily for internet conferencing. The general price range seemed to be 2040 for a typical brand. This item presented itself at a great sale price, so I decided to make a purchase even though it is a gaming headset. Although not considered a highend device, Im very impressed with the quality and sound it provides. Ive used it to listen to music, take phone calls, and use it during Zoom meetings and all proved positive results. I recommended it to my parents being that it was a great price, and my Mother was looking for some new headphones to use with her iPad. They like them so much they purchased six, yes six pair. My father has difficulty hearing and relies on headsets to listen while he watches television. For some odd reason he goes through headsets quite frequently and liked these so much he purchases several to us once a pair fails him. LOL.

Been using these headphones for a month now and the sound quality especially for gaming in excellent. The headphones sit neatly over the ear and mostly drown out outside noises. Output is crystal clear for gaming. For movies, output is pretty decent but for headphones, I felt the headphone couldnt handle the highs and mids as well as proper headphones. Very decent gaming headphones and for watching movies but if you are an audiophile, though he sound quality for music is decent, it isnt superlative.

Im giving this 4.55 as I have a pretty bad problem with the mic. Its however not the headsets fault whatsoever. It turns out my motherboard has some odd problem with microphone jacks and there is a pretty loud static noise in the mic. Apart from that though, the sound is good and helps a lot for gaming compared to having speakers or earbuds. Its pretty good for the price and I dont think you can find anything better at this tag. As I said the only reason for the missing 0.5 is the mic problem but this is an uncommon issue.

I needed a headset for playing COD MW with my friends on my new xbox one x. I wanted something cheap but good and well made. First thought was turtle beach but theyre design was very gimmicky as well as cheap looking. Steelseries was a little over my price range and heard the Volume doesnt get too high. I settled on these after reviews and couldnt be more pleased that I did My friends noticed right away how clear my voice was and now I have convinced them to look into purchasing this Hyper X brand. I can hear so many sounds that werent picked up in my previous cheaper amazon headset. Footsteps and directional sound was spot on. Overall these are a bargain at this price point. Oh and I totally forgot about mentioning the comfort. That was reall the biggest factor in this purchase as I have a bigger head and a lot of headphones give me head and ear aches. NOT THESE. They are super lightweight and just the perfect amount of pressure on the head. I almost forget I have these on. The mute is also cool, just push the mic up easy as that. 100 percent satisfied

Great lightweight comfort for wearing extended times. sound and mic are clear and connection to PC was simple. This purchase was for a second headset for my by. I first got one of these headsets a year ago as a replacement for a Corsair Void Pro RGB SE wireless headset. Corsair was heavy and mic did not always work. Had extended warranty on Corsair headset and when returned due to mic issues, they gave me credit and bought the HyperX set. Much better quality and comfort and happy I made the switch.Tip Headsets easily break if stepped on and are prone to technical issues, so would recommend spending the few dollars extra for the extended warranty. I have had to use these warranties several times in the past on misc products and always been happy with the outcomes.

i bought this headset a while ago and it didnt even last a year. Sound is good, looks is good and it is comfortable. Doesnt really bother you or irritate you until several hours of use. The mic broke after a couple months and all it does it produce a scratch sound when the mic is not muted. The headset cannot play max volume where if the volume is placed on maximum, it only plays on the right ear cup. We picked these up primarily for gaming with an Xbox One. As with any speaker device, the sound is only as good as the source material. So hearing people yelling at each other while bullets fly is hardly the place to search for audiophile quality. I will say they did sound more than good enough. The mic works flawlessly, with the very handy fliptomute feature a huge plus. These have also been used on an S9 to listen to a variety of music. With the proper eq, they are easy to listen to. Bass can be strong, even a tad muddy but thats all up to the listeners set up and source material. The key to high score is the price point. We grabbed these on sale and its hard to think you could get a better sounding, more versatile headset for the money. They were rated 4.53 when this was written Id have to agree. Happy with the purchase and would recommend for this kind of application.

Overall, I have been very satisfied with these headphones. I bought these back in Feb. of 2017 and these suckers finally died on me. Well, just the mic did, the sound coming out of the headphones is still perfect. So for 50 gaming headphones lasting over 3 years, Id say thats great value. The sound was full and crisponly stereo, the ear cups were nice and comfy. I could wear them for hours with no fatigue. I liked the simple mute option by simply moving the mic all the way up. The only issue I had with thesereally not me but for my squad mates is that the sound from the headphones kind of bleeds through and gets picked up by the mic. So my teammates could here my game audio sometimes. Other than that, I was very satisfied with these and planning to buy another pair right now.

So, to be fair the older model Cloud Stinger Core Wireless the one without the terrible simulated 7.1 surround sound was the best wireless gaming headset Id ever owned. Considering most Ive owned cost well over 100 and CSCW came in at 80, that was really an accomplishment. It was super light and comfortable, had surprisingly GREAT audio and a fantastic mic to boot. Unfortunately, the mic died on me at just over a year from the purchase date. When I saw that there was a newer model with 7.1 support and more comfortable ear and headband cushions, for the same 80, I ran straight to my local Best Buy to grab one.Okay, long story short… Yes, the new model is more comfortable than the old one, which is really saying something positive. Unfortunately thats where the positives end. It still sounded good, but not nearly as good as the original model. Something changed there, and not for the better. Im talking standard stereo mode with no HyperX software. But that alone wasnt enough to make me return it. What was The mic on the new 7.1 model is absolute garbage. Period. It was so bad I thought I must have gotten a defective unit. So I returned it, and the brand new replacement was exactly the same. With the old model I could keep the mic a few inches away from my face and just above the tip of my nose and be heard perfectly, even when talking in a hushed voice. With the new model I had to keep the mic, literally, right on my mouth, and was forced to always speak louder than normal to be heard. Ive since returned the replacement and now use the old headset with an external mic.Its a shame because my first HyperX product ever really impressed me, and Im really hard guy to impress. Unfortunately, it seems like theyre going in the wrong direction when it comes to quality of components, and worse theyre masking downgrades as upgrades. Thats unacceptable to me, and therefore I wont be purchasing HyperX again.

Sounds great, great bass. I used it for working from home. Then my 11 year old son commandeered it. Say it was great and made music immersive in games. Honestly, I was just trying to do my normal boring office meetings. He says its great for games and fortnite. Seems sturdy, its still surviving the daily use of a preteen and it still works fine. The volume thing on the side is really handy when folks are obnoxiously loud. The little thing that the microphone. It mutes when you flip it up. Bought on 20 sept. 2018, been using it daily for 45 hours daily. It took me 1 week to decide on good headphonesand i so happy i chose these.Points Sleek and Sexy looking, No ugly LEDs for distraction. Cable is long enough with a splitter at the end that splits Mic and Headphone jack soyou can plug it into any device. Will work with your PS4 controllers as well as your phone. Sound is Awesome. I play PUBG with this and the surround sound feels surreal. Mic is really good and captures well. May not be so good for live stream or regular recording. Mic can be turned off by retracting into the body. Mic is on a fiber body and can be adjust to come close to mouth. Has a sliding volume control on the right side underneath easily reachable. The heads can be turned to adjust to your head. Metallic durable extenders. SUPER comfortable. This is a big plus since all previous headphones i bought hurt my ears after an hour.i wear these for 45 hours and i dont even remember i have them on. Noise cancelling is very good. Covers ears completely. Very lightweight so you wont feel a headache after long session. Memory foam on the underhead so it adjusts to your headsize as you continue to use. Leather on the cups feel premium. These are black, so clean them daily for best durability. The price is totally justified.Go for it.

I purchased the HyperXCloud Stinger Wired Stereo Gaming Headset for PC, PS4, Xbox, Nintendo Wii U, Mobile Devices in the colors red and black for my sons birthday. I never heard of the brand HyperX and because it came as a wired not wireless gaming headset and figured wired meant poor quality and poor performance. BOY I WAS WRONG WRONG WROOONG I would definitely suggest to family and friends to purchase this product to satisfy their need for a high quality and superb performance WIRED headset. Price was reasonable, the stereo sound was crisp and clear with no interference of any kind, and for this to be wired for a gaming headset, this exceeded my expectations and needless to say that my son and I are more than pleased with our choice, and I will keep the brand HyperX in mind the next time I have electronical needs. One special feature we noticed how universal this product is and not only can my son use this headset with his PS4, but also his PC, a mobile device too Makes this product a money saver or sure and one last thing is the headset fits snug, not too tight not too lose, just comfortably right without any slippage. You will not be sorry but instead very very VERY HAPPY

This headset has a great reputation like the Hyper X Cloud II of having superior comfort and sound. The comfort is extremely good and I must say that it is the most comfortable in this price range. The sound is also very good as well except when you use the USB Adapter the surround sound has buzzing noises and sounds really bad. The usb adapter must be used if you wanna use the mic which does work and sound pretty good for a headset, or you must buy a splitter that converts the one 3.5mm to 2 for your desktop. 7.1 is a gimmick and the Stinger S gimmick is not that good. If you must use 7.1, just buy a copy of razer synapse, or Dolby Atmos for 15 and youll have better sound too then the crappy usb adapter. There are also usb sound cards that are 20 that provide twice the sound quality as the one that is included with this headset. Hyper X Cloud II may have a good usb sound card, but this Stinger S does not.

I only play two games fortnite and cod. I have tried roughly a handful of headsets ranging in price from 40 65. This is not the best headset out there, but its solid for 50.Of the products I personally tried, this was the best headset for directional audio, which is vitally important for identifying where enemies movement and gunfire. It is also super lightweight and comfy I can wear this thing for hours on end. I prefer having the volume control on the actual headset as opposed to on the wire I never accidentally change the volume or struggle to find the switch. And the mute function flip the mic up is super convenient. Do be advised the mic is not detachable, so if you plan to walk down the block bumpin some jams with these bad boys, youre gonna be rockin the mic HeyGirliGotGame. Ive had it for a couple years now, and its performance hasnt diminished.

This was my first headset for a desktop that I built. Theyre very comfortable, fit right over the ears. The sound quality is very good, do not have any complaints, especially for the price. The only two complaints I would have are1. The wire was very long this might be a pro for some people2. The microphone has gotten a little loose after 2 years of useOverall, I would purchase this again if given the opportunity. The value is still pretty good, Im still not looking for an upgrade, but if I was, it would only be to find something either wireless, or to replace the microphone that has gotten loose.Ive been buying HyperX products for a while, and they have never really disappointed me. Ive purchased four of these headsets for my grandkids in the past 2 years and they are all used on a daily basis..My decision to buy these was based on typically good reviews plus the fact that they are very well constructed.I especially like the stainless steel headband and non removable microphone that wont get misplaced or become loose fitting with age.Ive never had any complaints from the kids regarding comfort or sound and the longevity of the previous three I purchased seems to support the solid build quality.

Great wireless headphones and a bargain price point. The pads are comfortable and go over the ear. I have a small head so I havent needed to adjustment the size. Tho it does expand enough to fit on my 15 inch wide tower too so Im sure itll fit every head size. There is some latency like all wireless headphones but its minimal. The marginally lower latency of more expensive wireless headphones isnt worth an extra 100 or more. So if thats important, just go for wired headphones instead.

Ive managed to smack myself in the face while pulling back the earphones a few times, however thats obviously user error lol. Overall, I am happy with the headphones. We have a pair of wired headphones from this brand that I really like but wanted to have the freedom to move around so we got the wireless version. What was most important to me in a headset was the comfort of the ear pieces these are very comfy and the ability to swivel the microphone up to mute it. This set checks bother those boxes. I will say that Im a little disappointed that the headphone part that sits on your ears doesnt rotate like the wired set does but that isnt a deal breaker for me. They also dont see as sturdy as the wired ones, but not so much so that I feel the need to return them or anything. The charging cord that comes with the headphones is also very short, so if you are gaming or watching a movie and they need to be recharged, dont expect to be able to charge and use them at the same time. I plan on looking into a longer cord, but it would have been nice if it was longer to begin with like the brand that my husbands headset is. The range is decent so I can listen to music or a movie while cleaning as long as I dont get too far away which is really nice. I would recommend them despite the cons listed above as they arent really that bad of an issue.

Got it on 33021 reviewing on 43021 bought it on sale for 39.99 plus a special 5 promotion, 37.87 total. For the pice its a great pick up if you want to just play some games or watch some YouTube. They feel light compared to the HyperX Cloud Alphas. No digging into the top of your head. The pressure around your ear also feels light and is comfortable after long periods of usage.Sound is good they can get pretty loud. The cable that connects to the 3.5mm jack is not to short not to long to plug into the controller.not braided, but you doesnt it feel like it needs itMic sound is fine. Ive been told it can pick up a bit of back ground sound voice if someone is talking near by.same room. Not an issues if you have a private gaming setup. The mute feature by flipping the mic up has a click. And if youre wearing the heat set can be considered a loud click. If your using the PS5 dual sense its not an issues the mute button on the controller will mute your headset mic.Its a great entry headset Better than other entry head sets with horrible mics or bad sounding headphones or cheap build. These are light but dont have plastic creaking noise when being handled which to me is a huge plus. Could recommend for anyone looking for a entry headset.Sound finegoodQuality goodValue excellentBuild goodComfort great

Like many people at work from home these days. I was issued a mini desktop computer which at the time I was glad to get, but I was disappointed to see a lack of Bluetooth capability.I had tried Bluetooth USB adapters both name brand and store brand, and neither worked. I then tried a name brand pc headset that came with an adapter and returned it the next day.I had all but given up when one of my coworkers had mentioned that he had a great headset with a USB adapter, I looked it up and was thrilled to see an affordable headset with rave reviews.I have been using it for a few days now and I do not regret my purchase one bit. I no longer miss client calls and have the freedom to get up from my desk whenever I need to and still talk on the phone. If youre in the same boat as I was, your search is over.

Very tight and rough fit against the ears even after adjusting how far down the headphones can reach. Have to unplug and plug back in the USB adapter after being turned off to connect. You have to talk loud at first for the mic to trigger and start picking up sound no matter what your mic volume is. Sound wise, I wouldnt recommend it for games like Call of Duty or other games you need to listen closely on. I see ads saying that the headphones are the best for listening to music on while playing games, and I wouldnt really agree with that at all. Ive had other headsets that dont even mention music on ads or the box and have great sound quality for music. But I wouldnt recommend the headset unless you have a small head because its a very tight fit on mine

you want a pair of good headphones that should cost 300 but you have a tight budget, get this bad boy. The quality of the sound output on these is insane and trust me i tested them with the Doom2016 soundtrack and you can hear everything all around its madness. Mic is good for gamingdiscord and Ive had no issues with the duel plugs for audio and mic, works perfectly fine you can just plug em in and go, and i love how long the cable is, i dont have to worry about tugging on it to the point it breaks and the headphones themselves are so comfortable on my sensitive ears i can wear it for hours and not become sore or uncomfortable. 100 recommend, i also love the fact the mic mutes when its up, i dont have to worry about whether Ive accidentally got it on or not.

I went to Micro center looking for a gaming headphone so I could play some games with my kids online, I went looking for something cheap was immediately steered away from that option and the salesman pushed me towards Corsair, But I didnt feel they were what I was looking for and saw the HyperX Cloud Stingers. I purchased them went home happy. Opening the box they were very nicely packaged,I plugged them in and they sounded ok but after tweaking some of my audio settings they went straight to Awesome. Now I am no Audiophile and I know these do not compete with high dollar headsets but for sub 50 dollars US these are just the ticket. The sound is clean and clear and the mic I am told is very clear. The auto mute feature is very handy when you want to vent about the guy that just snuck up on you in that match and put you down.Cords are long and allow you to move with out pulling on them or putting undue stress on them. Ear Cups are nicely padded for hours of game play or video watching. I find them very comfortable to wear with out hurting my head or ears.I wouldnt hesitate for one minute to recommend these to anyone who wants a solid head set and get a good item for there money.

If youre looking for cheap and good quality, go for these guys. I recently started streaming and havent made the plunge to a full on table mic. But Ive gotten a few compliments on my sound quality considering the circumstances. I have owned other HyperX products before, which is what drove me to these. Obviously if you can afford to go up, do it. But if you cant, these will suit you wellOnly reason I am giving this 4 stars is bc any time I get a static shock I live in the high desert, it comes right through the headphone and shocks me. It doesnt blow out the sound or anything. It just gives you a nice good shock. Its the only annoying thing I have found about these.

I had a cheap headset from mpow. Honestly the sound is better than the Hyper X. But I gotta say. I could hear my voice and when I have these headsets on compared to the other one I couldnt. All my friends can hear is me breathing hard through the mic when were silent. And these do the job. None of my friends cant hear me breath hard. WOW. Quality is awesome. Sound, I cant argue about. What can I get from this headset right. Sound is awesome. Little bit of bass when hearing music through spotify on console but when playing is a whole lot game changing. I recommend this to anyone who are in a budget .

These are honestly one of the best values in console headsets cant speak to PC. Yes, you can spend more for a premium headset, but unless you are a pro gamer, these will serve you incredibly well. I primarily use these for PS4 online, a little bit for X One, and video conferencing Everyone can hear me perfectly, and the sound quality coming from the cans feels premium. The build construction and comfort are fantastic, and I much prefer the flip up mute mic on this set, then fumbling for inline controls mid game on others Ive tried. If you are considering the Hyper X PS4 headset vs these, I can tell you the microphone received many complaints that the could not hear me on the PS4 version, so save the money and get these. I knocked off one star, because this was a direct replacement for a previous set that had sound cut out in one ear due to the wiring if you wiggled the cord, the sound would cut in and out, but that set was 23 years old with a fair amount of use, so for the money I really wasnt too upset. Realistically I would likely only knock off half of a star if it were possible.

My son is a gamer so he goes through peripherals like crazy. Given that this would have been like, his 6th gaming headset, it did not last very long, probably about less than a year. Im not sure if its the quality of the headset or because he uses it a lotIts very comfortable though and lightweight so its definitely a plus for gaming all day long. Why we ended up replacing this headset is because after awhile, my son said that the mic wasnt as sensitive and he couldnt hear very well nor did his friend hear him as clearly as before.

Comfortable headset with good audio. After a year or so, I started noticing audio distortion from the mic, but havent isolated the issue it may be resulting from another part of my setup. I have purchased an external microphone, but I intend to keep using the cloud stingers as an audioonly headset for their light weight and comfortable form factor. These are for a nonaudiophile who is more concerned about having a headset they can wear all day comfortably than they are about top notch volume and sound quality. Its worth noting that these dont get loud enough to satisfy my desires completely when listening to music, but such could be looked at as a convenient safety feature for childminded buyers.

Bought this to pair with my Xbox series x and to play all the BRs pub g, apex, etc. . It is hands down the best headset I have ever owned. I like it so much that this is my 2nd one in a few years. Sound is amazing and quite honestly sounds better than most high end 100 headsets.Ive tried Logitechs g pro, hyper xs cloud alpha, and lucid sounds LS10X and none of them sounded as good as the stingers. The sound on these is just so crisp and clear compared to the others that sounded muffled. The flip up to mute is honestly more convenient than muting on the cable like most headsets have. It also stores way better too.If youre broke like me after dropping 500 on the next gen consoles and need budget headphones that perform just as well if not better than what the pros use. The cloud stingers are for you

I am absolutely blown away by how amazing these headphones are. My husband and I are gamers. We spend hours playing with friends that live across the country. The HyperX Cloud Stinger headphones are the perfect accessory for any gamer who loves to chat online. The sound is incredibly clear. It has a nifty feature on the outside to adjust the volume so I dont have to continually pause my game because its either too loud or too quiet.I absolutely recommend these headphones to any and all gamers

I am not a techie person, but I needed to have the ability to hear my Zoom meeting collaborator while comfortably speaking into the microphone while being in my office with other people around me in a very quiet space. This product has perfectly comfortable ear pieces and I am testing them out in various sound and environmental condition and have been happy so far.Now I know that keeping my mind focused and working efficiently is being facilitated by these head phones which I have had for a couple of weeks now.To me while being in a meeting, or just listening to music, will be a much more pleasant experience.I believe that I have bought the best product so far

I am comparing this to my previous headset which was the Logitech G430 which is no longer manufactured and has since been updated to the G432. The audio for this headset is really crisp and gives a really decent spatial awareness when playing games but, the microphone is a major issue. When it works, it works great and clear but, when it malfunctions not sure if its due to software or not it makes you sound like an alien or very warbly. Ive honestly had this issue happen more times than Id like when playing games like Valorant regularly happens or on Discord when I first got the headset. I have tried changing the audio settings on the computer and in gameapplication as well as unplugging replugging the jacks and sometimes it fixes it but, sometimes it doesnt which is frustrating. I will be returning this headset to upgrade to another model.

I have been using this headset for 4 years already. It had very great quality, comfort, sound, and mic quality. I was able to chat with my friends on my switch on fortnite with very good microphone quality, had no problems at all. But then 3 years have passed and the mic went sensitivity was very low for now reason so i had to buy another microphone to use. another year passed and the right side of my headset broke. This is recommended but be careful after a few years of use.

I know this is a gaming headset, but Im not using it for that. I purchased this out of pure desperation because my Plantronics wireless headset died and I needed another headset URGENTLY. There werent any Plantronics replacement headsets that I could get within 48 hours. My son is a gamer and recommended this to me. I use this as I moderate and host WEBEX Training events and Global meetings. I really like that the mic boom is bendy and I can put it right at my mouth. I love that it has noise cancelling and is wireless. Sound comes in clean and the around the ear headphones really block out noise in the room its noise cancelling. The wireless feature allows me NOT to be tethered to my laptop. The controls are very simple so no fumbling around to volume. To mute, just lift the mic boom. My typical Plantronics headset would have been about 300. This works with Skype, Webex, MS Teams and Cisco IP Communicator without any problems. Its ridiculously easy to use plug and play and and remarkably comfortable My 1 TEENIE TINY complaint is…if you keep this headset on for extended periods of time your ears might sweat. No, really. They do.

I assumed that it was a plug and play thing. But after I connected it to my pc, I couldnt hear anything from it. I had to switch some audio settings to get it to work. But when I used discord or played fortnite, the mic didnt work. I tried so many things and changed many settings but nothing worked. It was weird because when I had no apps open and talked into the mic, I could hear myself from the headset. I was confused if I needed to install some type of driver or download a software. I looked through all the settings and it said the mic was ready to use. I couldnt get it to work and I am planning on returning it. BUMMER

I think they sound pretty good. BUT the microphone is pretty bad, if you want to use the audio you HAVE to process it and get rid of the background static.Luckily most things do this automatically. But the worst thing is that it uses fake leather and after 2 years of use it will peel and look awful. idk how many people keep their headphones for that long. But I want to, so this is very annoying. Probably everything else around this price point also will use fake leather that does the same thing. But I dont care. I want my headphones to last more than 2 years without the material turning to shreds.

I have only positive remarks for this headset. Its a headset designed for gamers but I am not a gamer. It works flawlessly and have never had an issue. Its very simple to use. The boom mic is cancelled In upright position and activated when lowered. Easy. The sound is clear. The best is walking around my apartment hearing Zoom conference calls clear as crystal. They are relatively light and comfortable on my head. The USBC recharging means quick charges and hours of use. I really like this headset and plan to keep it for years.

These are a great quality headset I bought these for my brothers birthday this year. He is a serious pc gamer and absolutely loves these He is very picky about his tech, and he was so impressed with the quality. Especially for the great price, these headphones are one of the best headsets hes ever owned. The last headset I bought him was more expensive and he couldnt hear footsteps in his games. This headset picks up all in game sounds, are comfortable for long term wearing and fit his head really great He cant say enough good things about these so if you are on the fence like I was dont hesitate to try these out, you wont be disappointed Theres a low cost protection plan you can buy, too, which made me feel even better about picking these up.

Pros Best gaming headset you can buy in this price bracket. Sounds fantastic for gaming, 50mm drivers where most in this price range are 40mm. Very light and comfortable, and the casing is flexible rather than brittle at the usual stress points which help to prevent breakage. 3.5mm connection means no charging, no pairing issues, and will also work with other devices such as phones, laptops, PCs my girlfriend uses one for video editing for instance, and Ive used them to watch movies on my laptop. Mic quality is also surprisingly good, and the flipdown feature makes it obvious if youre muted or not. Had one pair of these for over 2 years, still work great, bought this pair for my girlfriend as theyre still the best for the money.

Bought this headset because I knew it was good for the Playstation. However, I tried it for a conference call and its AMAZING. in fact Ive had 2 people comment on the clarity today. The toggle of the boom mic is nice as well which gives me the ability to walk around and mute myself manually rather than with soft button in the app. Very comfortable to wear for long periods. The only thing better would be a slightly lower price tag. I feel like 60 would make this a perfect option for everyone. Well done HyperX. Keep up the good work.

There was nothing wrong with this headset, but I returned them. They were too tight. I had a wired headset for Xbox and recently switched to PlayStation. Turns out the wired Xbox headset works for PlayStation as well. My 70 wired HyperX metal headset was built way more solid this this cheaply plastic tight fitted headset. Also my old headset had leather memory foam and this wireless had cloth. Overall you pay more for wireless to not have to hassle with the wire but get a cheaper feeling headset. The sound quality was still great but I would rather feel comfortable for longer game sessions. Hope this helps…

I purchased these for use during work Zoom and MS Teams video calls. I share an office with my wife so it is important that I dont disturb her with the audio from the computer speakers. They work perfectly for that. I am impressed by the wireless range and usable battery life. My only issue is that on long conference calls, the cuffs become uncomfortable. This may not be unique to these headsets. I preferred ear buds but were too much . No real complaintsworks finelasts a long time.Although they are wireless they are not Bluetooth, restricting their use to the computer the dongle is plugged into. This is a minor inconvenience, but I have 3 computers and would have preferred being able to connect to the headsets via Bluetooth, thus expanding their usability.
