Got this for the wife for Christmas, after reviewing several different cameras. Was highly satisfied with this purchase. Has fast shutter speed, so taking quick pics of baby and dogs is great they never stay still and is very user friendly. My wife figured out all the modes before I could show her. Quick interface allows you to quickly adjust your settings, such as taking closeup pictures and flash options. Battery life is good, allowing plenty of pics before recharging. Also, the DuoPro SD memory cards are honestly not that much more than other SD cards, so all in all, a great buy. We use with an HP photo printer, which completely takes out red eye. I purchased this camera as a gift for a family member. I use a Nikkon D40 myself but played around with this point and shoot before I gave it as the gift. It was truly amazing, the camera does an excellent job metering light exposure, white balance and ISO. Left on automatic this camera adjusted the shutter speed enough to stop water When compared my SLR photos to the one of this Sony, it was hard to choose which one looked better Highly recommended

I love this camera for the ease of shooting short video clips because it is so compact and the quality is actually great The canon cameras tend to have streaks when shooting movie clips in the day time but this Casio camera doesnt. I HIghly recommend this camera for people on the go

Overall I love this camera Its easy to use and superfast Takes great pictures in all kinds of settings. The battery life seems to go on forever. Drawbacks Ive found are that I dont like to have to put the lens cover on myself, I tend to forget. I also forget to take it off, but the camera reminds you to do it Also I sometimes forget to close the flash cover when Im done. I had a smaller Sony Cybershot before this one and those little things were automatic. I guess I got spoiled.

This camera is very nice. Fancy is one way id describe it. You can take a picture with this camera while in a moving vehicle and it will come out crystal clear and vibrant. If you like to take pictures and are always on the move, this camera would be a perfect addition to your everyday needs. Also dont forget to get your memory card, it will come in handy.

everything works well except the auto focus, which works about 1 time out of 30 pictures. The quality of focus is what makes or breaks any picture. The auto focus is between 20 to 35 percent off of perfect. the rest of the features work well.

I LOVED the camera itself, HOWEVER, the memory card I received with it was NOT the right one. When I went to a camera store to get the right one, they told me they only carried a couple at a time as they are phasing out of them. They also cost 50.00 for 2 GB. You also need an adaptor for the memory card to use it in the print your own pictures at local stores. This adaptor did come with the memory card, but it made me fearful that down the road, I might not be able to easily buy new memory cards. Additionally, the batteries are not ones to be easily replaced. They also cost 50.00 each which would be another expense right off to buy one to have one charged and on hand to replace the included one when it ran down. The camera itself was wonderful and had it not had these issues, I would have kept it. As it was, I ended up returning it to exchange for one without these issues.

I tried several cameras before deciding to stick with this one. Other cameras I tried were the Canon sx100is, Panasonic Lumix TZ4, Kodak Easyshare Z712, and finally the Canon S5. I really expected to like the Canon S5 the best, but this little camera out shot the Canon in most all conditions. The Sony, in my opinion, gave me the ability to quickly take pictures that consistently turned out well. The video is nice quality as long as you use the fine mode. This is a nice little camera and I enjoy using it

What I most like about this camera is the easyness of it. For a entry level camera, as the Cybershot is, it is verypowerfull. Very decent resolution 8.1 Mp , great zoom 10x , speed shutter for sports photos soccer, biking, football , auto mode so you dont have to think of every aspect of the environment, tha ability to use extra lenses zoom or wide angle and a really neat 3 inch color screen. Great camera and its a Sony. Why I bought it , of course the quality and in the other hand the low price. A camera to hold for a long time.

I use my H10 for absolutely everything and I love it. I owned a H3 prior to this and loved it too but unfortunatly it had a mechanical failure. But I loved my H3 so much even with its problem I did not hesitate to buy the H10 It is very light and extremely simple to use. The pictures are great I have a few friends who shoot with expensive DSLRs of different makes and everyone of them asks what kind of camera I am using and if they can check it out The only thing I wish Sony would have changed is the fact that you cant zoom while videotaping but overall this camera is an excellent buy A

If you are taking simple photos of family and friends this is an ideal camera for you. If you like to take art photos or portrait studio photos, spend a little more and buy a SLR you can change the lenses on the camera body. This camera takes great inout door photos. Takes some shutter control to get the auto focus to work right but, overall it is a great camera. I do not recommend this if you are looking to do more advanced photos.

Although I did have a camera before, I wanted to step up from the pointandshoot type. This definitely caught my attention with the Carl Zeiss lenses, which I heard were very good. The focus is amazing, and the zom is phenominal. The manual setting allows you to mess with things until you get what you think is right. I was also surprised when I found that you can take videos in black and white or sephia. Overall, this camera is the best Ill ever have.

I originally was going to purchase the Kodak 10mp, with the touchscreen. And I was all ready to go, did my research and everything. While I was grabbing the box, my husband started playing with the Sony Cybershot, and showed me the face detection, and the 10x digital zoom. I was sold I immediately put my Kodak back and bought the Cybershot, without doing my research, OR reading reviews on it And ever since Ive purchased it, everyone has been raving over it, all jealous Lol.The only downside Id say, is that I have to buy a different memory stick than Im used to using. I love my SD card, but now I have to switch to Memory Stick Duo. But thats the ONLY con for me.This camera is one step up from the pocket digital cameras, and one step down from an actual SLR. Unless you are a serious photographer fanatic, than theres no need to spend 1000 on an SLR. I plan on buying one and SLR when my kids are in sports. But for now, I am just using my gorgeous Cybershot to take pictures of my babys

On our recent vacation, we were finally able to get a lot of use out of our Casio EXS880 Digital Camera. A nice red colored camera that was a gift, it is extremely lightweight, easy to use, and produces a brilliantly vivid picture that will simply blow you away if you arent ready for it. Not only that, but the camera does most of the work for you, adjusting to light, taking into account shadows, and focusing on nearly anything you want in the potential photograph. The auto tracking feature that the camera has will get everything in focus for you, and the embedded face recognition feature will assist you in picking someone out of the crowd of people on screen. This is extremely great to have, because the camera can focus on a person, and even if they move while you are taking the picture, it will continue to focus to get the best possible picture before it actually commits. That is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to this Casio though, as it has even more to offer than that.If you have flipped the camera around, the first thing that is really going to catch your eye is that the screen is so large. With a camera that is only 3.72 inches wide, the LCD screen takes up 2.8 inches of that space. So you can basically say, that the space allocated to all the bells and whistles on the back is well used, and there isnt any wasted area. Next to that screen you also have your toggle controls, menu button, and the recording button for if you want to take advantage of the videorecording options on this little electronic devise. Recording on the video mode, you get to take advantage of their MPEG4 video compression, which gives you a really clear picture while removing any white noise during the playback, and couples that with a compatibility that works with nearly all file sharing programs. That way once your recording is done, you have no problem taking it off the camera for playback on something like your computer or television.When the camera says that it is 8.1 Megapixels that means that it can view 8.1 million pixels in high resolution, which gives you a very detailed photograph. Its a high number for a camera of this size and price, and works towards providing larger photographs when you download them on to your computer. Think of it as being the more pixels that you have, the better the picture is going to look when you blow it up in size. Some cameras are good at 2 or 3 megapixels if you dont want it much larger than the view screen, but you want something like what this camera can provide if you want an extremely vivid presentation. On the camera you have a zoom button 3X Optical that lets you really get close to your subject through the lens, without having to get that close in person. This zoom can be further amplified to a level of 12x on the highest resolution it offers. Having the combination of a great zoom function and this many megapixels gives you a camera that will get the job done no matter what.This camera was really a great gift, and has performed perfectly since the day it was taken out of the box. You get a cradle to charge it, a nice lithium rechargeable battery, the cables, adapters, power cords, and instructions on how to use it with the camera. You will have to purchase a separate memory card to keep all of your pictures on, because the internal memory doesnt have enough space to really accommodate as many pictures as you will want to take with the camera. There are just so many great things I can say about this camera from its crystal clear pictures and videos, to its quick shutter speed while taking a picture, to the face recognition capabilities and high level of zoom functionality. Putting all of these features into one little camera that is easy to use, quite flashy with the nice red coloring, and simply a treat to take picture with ends up giving you a digital camera that will last for years. Well worth the price it sells for at many electronics stores, this is one of the fanciest cameras I have used, and one product that Casio should be proud that they produced. Recommended both for the person on the go, and the weekend adventurer.

Shooting in low light is a dream and Ive done all of this on Auto mode Imagine what Ill be able to do in manual mode when Ive figured out all the settings.I have read some reviews that say flash shooting gives you washed out pictures theres a simple fix, dial down the flash intensity or reduce the exposure again all possible using Auto mode.It does detect faces and focuses on them. I have had this camera about a month and really have enjoyed it. The shutter speed on this camera is very quick. I have young children who dont stay still for long, so that was important. Overall, I would say this camera is great. However, I recently noticed that it does not impose the date or time on the pictures. You can manually have the date imprinted if you print them from your computer, but I have the mass of my pictures developed through a photo center. I asked Sony customer service about this and they said there were several customers who have complained in the past about the date being on their pictures, so they didnt develop this camera with that option. The date is how I keep my pictures organized, so that was important to me and I was very disappointed to discover this. If its not important to you, than you will absolutely love this camera. If it is, then you might want to take that into consideration

I bought this camera a couple of years ago and Ive carried it with me everywhere I go. I love it because its small and lightweight, but most of all, the pictures are awesome Im not professional photographer, so the different photo setting options really help you choose which type of setting you need depending on light, distance, or the particular object you are taking a picture of.I do have one complaint. Ive had this camera for about two years and the last time I used it the battery went dead. Normally, one would put it back on the charging dock for a couple of hours but when I did that the camera seemed to overheat Now I have to send it back to the company to get looked at. Well see how good the customer service is after this whole issue gets resolved.

I love everything about this camera except the indoor picture quality. It does not take very good indoor pictures at all. The flash setting does not take photos with anything moving. They come out very blurry if there is a moving object in the shot. There are other settings you can play with to get a decent nonblurry shot, but they are somewhat yellowed.If you are taking outside shots, they come out professional looking.I am not a professional, but I am also pretty tech savy and this camera is not easy to get the indoor shots.

At a price of , this camera is an excellent buy. Very impressed with its zoom capability. Most of the cameras at 10X zoom generally dont hold on to the intricacies of the picture. HOwever, pictures taken at high zoom in this camera retain very good resolution. My friend who was visiting from abroad immediately decided to own this camera. I am trying to buy two of these more one for myself and one for another friend,….I have not used this camera much, but at the outset looks to be a very good piece. One thing I hate about Sony is nonstandard memory cards. Also, the delete functionality is not impressive either.

Relatively small, good price, takes GREAT pictures, zoom is nice, image stabilization helps, good even in low light conditions. The only drawback I have is that it uses the Sony Memory Stick Duo and I didnt have a reader. Had to make that unexpected purchase, but this camera was still worth it.

My husband bought me the Sony Cybershot DSCH10 camera when I already had another one but Im so glad he did. The quality is truly NOTICABLY BETTER. I am able to take photos that people think were taken by a professional photographer. It is very easy to use and although its not pocket size, it fits in a normal size purse and goes everywhere with me. The viewfinder in the back is nice and big. It takes good quality video with sound and connects easily to the computer for downloading. Highly recommended

I was looking for a camera that has great photos. Because over 50 is indoors the flash blub causes shadows on the lower portion of the photo and also shadows on sides when using the extra distance lens.I called Sony and they said not to use the flash indoors what a poor statement. i have owned this camera for a little over 6 months and have taken over 200 pics. i have found new things on it every time i get it out and i am justthrilled with it. i taken some pics people thought i would never get. i am glad i had bought this camera, just wish it would have had extra lenses, and the memory card, i had to buy them seperate. i am still learning with it, but i am just thrilled at the good pictures. heres just a couple of pics.

Have only used the camera once, but it is fantastic I carried it to Mexico and took a lot of pictures. The image stabilization works great and the zoom is great, too. The compact size made it easy to carry around on tours. I was tempted to pay more for the DSC 50, but Im glad that I did not.

The Casio Exilim EXS880, I love this camera It takes beautiful pictures. It stops the blur of moving children and animals. I have gotten great shots of deer crossing my yard at dusk. The zoom brings them in almost close enough to touch. It recognizes family members in group shots, so they are always clear and in focus. I have gotten some pictures where everything else is moving and the main subject is clear and bright. Looks awesome Its small and compact, it fits in a pocket, in evening bags, tucks in side pockets of totes, very handy size. It charges up quickly and the battery, fully charged, lasts for 100s of pictures. I took this camera to a wedding and took over 500 pictures in six hours, before the battery started flashing low battery. The charger also allows you to view your pictures in a slide show. It has a nikcad battery that I havent had to replace yet. I have had it for about 14 months. I take alot of pictures, so Im really impressed with the battery life.

I am not a camera buff or technology savvy. I just wanted an easy to use camera. Of all the cameras I could try out in the store, this one had the easiest to use features. I could easily turn it on and take a beautiful picture, and it was simple to navigate through the menu system to see my picture and modify it or delete it. The large display screen makes it easy to see your photos and decide whether to keep or delete them. I am having fun trying some of the special effects you can add to your photos right on the camera, and I am starting to learn how to use the different flash options to get better lighting in pictures. The 10X optical zoom is fantastic and your longdistance pics are very clear. The facefind feature performs flawlessly. It is really a fun camera to teach yourself on, and Im sure its capable of much, much more than I am using right now My husband, who IS technologically savvy, even loves this camera, and is selling his Konica Minolta G Series camera so he can use mine now too. I can highly recommend to anyone who just needs a simple to use camera and wants great pictures.Husband note This camera is extremely quick for shutter response time from when you click the shutter to when the picture is taken, which is a big issue for a lot of cameras that she and I tested. Sony memory card technology is proprietary and a bit more expensive than its generic counterparts but makes up for it with a more than reasonable speed, which can be an issue for SD, XD, etc. cards. Camera just plugs in and acts like an external drive to your computer for downloading pictures using the supplied cable. Thats it for me, I too can highly recommend this camera. I do have one recommendation though, turn OFF the digital zoom, optical zoom is the BEST way to go to get the highest quality pictures for your needs. Ok, blabby husband is finally done.

Even though its quite an outdated camera only 8mega pix and video capture is small 740 I think that being the worst downside the camera has its a really nicely built camera in fact I wish that later models had continued with this sturdy design, but they are all more flimsy than this one compact zoom and picture quality is pretty darn good, for colours. Oh yes, the other downer is that it takes pro duo memory I couldnt get a micro SD card recognised, the adapter had no MagicGate which cost bit, if original but you can get China ones on ebay that do work. Makes a good camera for early photographers.

The camera is great. Videos are great. All the cool options are awesome. But most of all I love the charger dock. I can charge it for 3 min and get enough power in it if I am in a hurry. Overall charging doesnt take very long and lasts for like Ever as long as I am not taking too many videos. Love this camera

This is an amazing camera I bought it because I needed something small and compact to carry around in my purse for my travels, something that I could use to zoom into something that is far away. It does that and so much moreI love the auto feature on this camera. I have taken some great shots at night just make sure to hold steady or use something to keep the camera stable tripod. The zoom feature is wonderful. With 10x zoom, I am able to get in close to the subject and get a very clear picture.Another reason I love this camera is the quality of the photos, especially the color. I have used other cameras, but I think the color is definitely more vibrant with the Sony.I was not as impressed with the macro feature on this camera as I am with other cameras, but it still works ok.Battery life is long. You must use the screen to view what is going on Nothing to put right up to your eye.You can also take movies with this camera, using the zoom feature.

I love the zoom on this, but you have to be really careful when zoomed in all the way to hold the camara really still, or it is likely to blur some. There were a few times that I wasnt zoomed in all the way and I still got a few picture that were a little blurry, but it is likely that it was due to user error. I love the sports setting. It is great for outdoor action shots. I liked that there isnt a very long delay to take another picture, although it does seem to take slightly longer on certain settings, but still way faster than other camaras that I have used. I like the big screen to view your pictures. This camara was very easy to use. I really wanted something with a lot of options, but didnt take an expert to use and this camara has been great for me. I was able to pick it up and start using it immediately. It is pretty self explanitory for the most part

I bought this camera to replace the DSC H3….pretty much exactly the same cameras, but the H10 is newer. I dropped the H3 a couple times and it was not working rightthey take the same battery, which is another reason I chose the H10…gives me a spare battery and charger The DSC H10 gives you the ability to use filters to protect the lens, and enhance your photos. The camera is easy to use, as it is essentially a point and shoot, but gives you DSLR quality photos, in my opinion. The wheel on top of the camera body allows you to change between modes easily and quickly…I use landscape, sports and automatic the most. It has an excellent zoom, the anti shake is great, battery life is awesome, the camera is not heavy or too big. My only complaint about sony cameras the proprietary memory cards and cables. The memory stick pro duo cards are much more expensive than SDSDHC cards. The special cable means you have to plan ahead to download pics…not as easy to share with friends or family. If theyd use the mini usb like fuji or pentax have….but once you buy the cards…its not like they rot.

My friend had this camera and the photos she took of her cruise to Greece were gorgeous, so I had to get that same camera. I found just the one I wanted on eBay for a GREAT price, and it included 2 memory cards, two batteries, battery charger, carry bag, lens hood, cables and CDROM. It took me awhile to learn how to use it the instruction manual is not particularly user friendly. But between the book and my friend, we figured it out The onoff button is rather small, the lens cap must be removed before using, the camera is bulkier than my old Canon Elph, it took forever to figure out why I couldnt adjust the flash mode these are the cons. The pros are gorgeous photos, fantastic detailed closeup shots, the movie feature with sound, the smallsize memory card compared to the large one in my old camera, many settings for different light levels, etc. I am looking forward to using this camera on my upcoming Caribbean cruise

I purchased the Sony DSCH10 a few months ago and have continued to be happy with this camera. It features a 10x Optical Zoom, 8.1 megapixels and and a 3 inch square LCD monitor. It comes with a lens hood to help in bright sunlight and is easily removed for indoor shooting. The menu is easy to read and to navigate. Settings are easy to adjust with the knob on the camera and also is mirrored on the LCD screen you can also set for speed and for closeups. Picture size can also be adjusted. The camera has room for 10 pictures without a memory card. A memory card must be purchased separately. This camera takes great pictures and with the large memory card, I am able to take as many as I want. I take a lot of pictures of my granddaughter while she is at play and this camera has captured some great action shots. This camera does do better with red than my older Sony camera did. All in all the Sony DSCH10 is a great value.

I ordered this camera online using the ship to store feature. The camera did not make it in time for my vacation but now that I have it Im glad I waited for it. It is very easy to use and has some of the same functions as my old Sony Cybershot 3.2mp camera. I like the new features on this camera such as the optical zoom, the focus on faces feature which is great for pictures which have more than two people in it. Ive included a couple of pictures so you can see the clarity and resolution this camera provides. I had to resize the pictures as they were taken in 8.1mp mode and are over 2mb in size. They are now 640×480 so I could upload them to the site. They are still excellent. The only thing I dont like is the 3 in. screen gets dirty very easily especially from the left side since it ends right where the camera ends. Im looking for something to clean the screen with that will not mar or scratch it and maybe some type of clear plastic to fit over it to protect it while still allowing viewing of picture. Other than that its a great camera and if you can get it with the 0 for 12 month offer its even better

The Sony DSCH10 works right out of the box. I purchased a SanDisk 2GB card for mine at 3 megapixels I get almost 1300 pictures The camera is easy to use with intuitive controls. Got it just before a bday and all of my shots came out great…not one blurry photo. I could not be more pleased with this camera and Abes had it for an excellent price. Ive already begun recommending it to friends and family.

This is the perfect choice for someone new to digital photographer. Its automatic settings let you point and shoot, but you can also set manually when you feel comfortable. Both options take perfect photos Love the scene setting for prearranged settings like low light and sports shots. It is a great camera for the money too. I have one and bought this one for my daughters high school graduation present and she is thrilled with it too It is a rare thing for a mom and a teen daughter to agree on anything, but we both LOVE our Sony Cybershot DSCH10 cameras

The Sony CyperShot H10 digital camera made me an expert photographer, right out of the box. I was amazed at the crazygood shots I started taking of my sons baseball games. Closeups were no problem. Action shots froze the action with little to no blur. This camera has settings, like many other cameras, that will let you do these things, but this cameras lens is of such good quality, and whatever else that increases its quality, that I was immediately taking pictures like nothing I had ever taken with my other digital camera.It has a great feature called burst. You can take a quick series of shots. You can choose how much time should elapse between each shot. Following the menus was easy and transparent. I took multiple burst shots of my son and other players pitching. Im telling you, you could publish them in Sports Illustrated. I caught several shots where the ball is just hanging there between the pitcher and the batter. I couldnt believe I was taking these pictures.But, Im telling you, its not me or my skill. Its the camera. Ive tried to use these features and take shots like those burst shots for years on my old camera. It just couldnt do it. It would drag between shots, needing time to process. Not the Sony H10. Its lightning fast, with no lag time.Oh, and I almost forgot You would not believe the video this camera can shoot I quit using our video camera. Who needs it This camera takes great video for most casual applications, like, again, my sons sporting events. Its true, my video camera zooms better and the Sony cant zoom when youre filming, only when youve paused, and you get better qualtiy. But if you dont want to lug 2 cameras around, and you dont need theaterquality video, the Sony H10 honestly works great.The only downside I can think of to this is battery life. It lasts about 3 hours, which isnt terrible. The yuckiest part is that it really doesnt give you many minutes of warning that the battery is about to go out. Itd be a good idea, if you can afford it, to have a second charged battery available.I highly recommend this camera. If you cant afford one of the superexpensive SLRs, this is about as close as you can get. Its hard to believe its not considered an SLR.

I bought a Sony CyberShot H10 because I needed a camera with a high optical zoom and action shot options. I have not yet been disappointed. I take my camera everywhere, and I can use it for any occassion, whether calm or active, day or night.The CyberShot H10 not only takes great shots of my son kicking a soccer ball midair, but also takes outstanding shots of fireworks The zoom is wonderful, and I can really get into the action. It has Face Detection capabilities which helps to enhance skin tones and reduce redeye. The CyberShot H10 also has a Double Antiblue Solution, which definitely helps me out, as I have extremely shaky hands when holding my camera. The only reason that I stopped using it and got another one was because a young sibling jumped on my purse hard and bent the area around the lens slightly so it could not come out. I was heartbroken. This camera had worked better than any other camera I have ever used. I had always tried cheaper ones, and they broke within months. This camera lasted over three years and throughout several international trips.DurabilityUntil the camera got stepped on by a toddler, it lasted so well It survived over 4 years with me. I went up on the East coast over the Holidays and shot about 800 photos with my new DSC H10 camera. A little large for a pocket camera, but it more than makes up for that downside with performance The flash reaches way out and the pictures stay nice and sharp even when using the telephoto. The 3 LCD screen is great My only complaint is the zoom dont operate while filming video.

We have only had this camera for a short time but we love it. The quality in the pictures is awesome, it is like taking a picture with a big thousand dollar camera without the price and that is alot smaller. It can do alot of thing for being such a small camera. I never thought I would use the video option on it but I have use it quite a bit. It is nice not to have to carry around a vidio camera as well. The best thing about this camera is that it is easy to understand and is very user friendly. It is the best camera I have ever owned.

Years ago, I took pictures like film and processing were cheap. Well, for me, I guess it was I worked in a camera shop After I left that job, I cut back drastically on my clicking of the shutter. Yknow that adage, You can send your second child to college on what you spent on pictures of your first Thats me all over.This past Christmas, my children the second ones idea hmmm. . . I wonder if the above saying influenced her thoughts chipped in to surprise me with this Sony camera, the DSCH10. Not a real lover of digital I think Matthew Brady had the same thoughts about roll film, I was politely excited. But the more Ive used it, the more I really am glad they got me back into my erstwhile hobby.The pictures are so sharp and the color is fantastic. I recently took a group of foreigners around town and became the unofficial photgraher, simply because of the quality of pictures I was taking. Ok, maybe I do have an eye for a good picture, too. But the camera is so easy to use, and seeing what I have taken is not a problem even in bright sun, I can see the screen.The only drawback to the camera is not being able to control the camera settings. Having used a manual camera for years, I know what Id get as a result of changing the aperture andor shutter speed, but I have not figured out how to do that yet in this camera. The instructions are no help.But for automatic point and shoot, the Sony H10 works well for me. Im back to driving my family crazy, taking pictures of everything we do, and holding them up while I stop and take what they consider strange photos on our family trips.I had forgotten how much I love this pastime

The quality of pictures are very good in the daily light, but very bad in the low light. The preset modes are too few, and it needs more like Nikon. The stability is very bad, much worse than its descriptions. Although the LCD is so bright. The actual quality of pictures is much worse than shown on this lcd, so dont believe any good thing that lcd will bring for you. If you just want to take pictures in the daily light, this camera is excellent for you.

The Sony DSCH10 I bought as an add on for my DSCH2 which seem a little too heavy for me. I wanted a smaller, lighter camera to carry when I didnt want to be noticed with a camera and my shoulder was bothering me. The Camera has Auto Mode, Manual and Programmanual modes, it has movie mode and it takes a pretty good movie at that. Movie mode comes in 640fine, 640standard and 320. It also has High Sensitivity ISO mode where you can take shots in low light minus the flash. It has the point and shoot modes of Soft Snap Portrait, Advance Sports Shooting, Twilight Portrait and Landscape and Fireworks. It has a macro mode. And on the joystick dial you can adjust for flash, no flash. Macro on and macro off. And timed shooting. Where you can time the camera to go off in 10 seconds so you can run and be in the photo. It has 6 photos sizes to choose from. And when you change to VGA mode the lowest pixel mode you can zoom out to 54x zoom. You can also use via an adapter all the lens zoom and macro addons that you use on the bigger H5 and H2 and up cameras. You can adjust metering mode and focus area. There are so many thing to choose from. It is a 10x zoom and you have to take the photo through or off of the large 3 LCD. All and all this is a great camera.

bought this mainly for my wife. this being a full sized digital is little bigger than other compact models, pictures using ISO setting in low light were great. Even with split light settings, I was able to quickly change EV setting and get a good result on auto mode. A good buy.
